Has me excited for more

I just watched the first episode and I am already craving another one.

But why is it so captivating?
First, I love that we jump right into the story, getting flashbacks about their past instead of experiencing it from the start, especially since I think the whole "how they met" storyline would only feel like filler here.
Secondly, the humour. Yoh calling the world lewd is hilarious to me since he is an erotic-manga artist, and that cracked me up ngl.
Thirdly, the sunny-day-sex-pact is really interesting and will play into the story a lot as it progresses (at least i hope so). That brings me to Segasaki.

We don't know much about Segasaki (handsome weather forecaster) yet, right now he's a toxic, arrogant guy using Yoh for food and cleaning, also for sex. (Mind you that Yoh agreed to that, because he needs a place to stay at rent-free and can't have high living expenses because of his job). At first it seems like Yoh doesn't necessarily like that but when Segasaki forecasts only rain for the next week or so on his show, Yoh unconciously is sad that he won't have sex with Segasaki for a while, which surprises him (and me aswell lolol).

The sex scenes are done very well, applause for that. You can also see that deep down Segasaki somewhat cares for Yoh, because after the last nsfw scene of the first episode they are still in bed together in the morning and hugging, which is something I honestly didn't expect from Segasaki. I thought he would get up immediatly afterwards and go back to his own bed, but he didn't which gives me hope for a non-toxic relationship between the two.

I'm a sucker for BLs that can make me emotional, so this is just perfect. I'm looking forward to the next episode and I can't wait to see where the story goes! :)

Sweet, Sweet, Sweet!

So short, yet so amazing. I love this one with all my heart. Though it's only about 8 minutes long, that didn’t stop me from falling in love with it. Yeon Ho and Jae Min are both adorable characters, you could feel and see immediately that they like each other but are too insecure to confess (a problem many teens have when experiencing their first love). The moment they finally kiss is heartfelt and absolutely adorable.
The height and body differences are what I liked most since it's something different. As a chubby person myself, I enjoyed seeing this change. :)
I wish it was an entire series, it surely deserves it!

Heartwarming and Soulwrecking

The relationship between Wu Zheng and Zheng Yu Shi / Noah is something I fell in love with immediately. They work super well together and the chemistry between the actors really upgraded my rating. The story sure is unique, as the split personality brings in what makes this series special and interesting. I’m a sucker for series that can make me cry, and this one made me bawl my eyes out. Plus 100 Points for that. The only flaw it has is that it was so short. I wish they had had a higher budget to make it longer. And the secondary couple felt kind of forced, it wasn’t really necessary as we don’t get to know those characters at all.

Special credits to the Cactus Scene in which Yu Shi tries to balance the cactus on Wu Zheng's helmet. Adorable!

Overall, great music, and great actors, so if you have around 2 hours to spare, watch it. It’s definitely worth it!
(Also I recommend watching the special episode "Not That Innocent")

THIS is what I call a good sequel!

The amount of joy I felt when watching this is indescribable.

When I watched the first season I felt sad, I was angry at Kiyoi the whole watch and finished it all sad because I felt so bad for Hira. This season turned it all around, showed us how Kiyoi is also insecure, how much he actually loves Hira and ahhhh i love them so much! On the other hand we finally get to see Hira reconsider the way he sees his boyfriend, as Kiyoi doesn't want him to spectate him as some sort of higher being or god. They talk about their issues, which is so important.
And to be honest, Kiyoi being all cute and bbgirl destroyed me.
Even if you didn't enjoy the first season, make sure to watch this one, it's amazing. <3

ah yes, another one that claims to be romance, tho it's not

I’ll make this short, as I don’t remember much of it. I dropped this series after episode 4 in June and just picked it up again a few days ago.

Just to get this off my chest:
This surely is not romance. This is 2gether romance, it gives huge lets-high-five-instead-of-holding-hands-or-kiss energy.
The characters were forgettable, and the story drags a bit too much. The random adding of plotlines or, IMO, unnecessary character developments were irritating and awkwardly implemented.
The ages of the characters were never addressed, which made me a bit uncomfortable sometimes. This wouldn't be a problem if Meow didn't act like a toddler at times.
I feel like this concept could’ve worked so much better than it did. The idea itself is great, a stray cat that can shapeshift into a human is such an interesting plot. Sadly the execution wasn’t what I hoped for. The romance tag made my expectation go up too high, as no romance happened between the lead couple.

What I liked:
The lesbian couple was the most interesting and adorable to watch IMO, they shared a lot of cute moments and oh I wish the other couples had at least half as much chemistry as they had.

Still, this is very sweet to watch, so if you are in search of something that has little romance, a lot of bromance and just want to watch something cute, this is the one for you! :)

A mature story about two men falling in love? Yes, please!

At first, I thought this was going to be a rather protracted story, with more bromance than romance. I don’t know what made me think that maybe TikTok or the series description I read online, but OH LORD I was so wrong! A stunning cast, mature storytelling, and the best part is, that you never get bored.
Nozue and Togawa complete each other so perfectly, as Nozue is afraid of not living a fulfilling life but is also afraid of trying out something new, while Togawa wants Nozue to accomplish all that and helps him to do so.
I was concerned Nozue would be portrayed kinda goofy and rather immature but no, he is exactly what you would think a 39-year-old guy would act like. Amazing. The pacing was just right in my opinion, the slow yet constant development of their relationship made me feel invested and curious about what was going to happen next.
It's so amazing to see Japan improving their BL-Series, hopefully, we will get to see more of this kind of storytelling soon!

Very sweet slice of life

While being very sweet and cute, this series also shows how complicated a secret relationship during high school can be. I like the concept of one being super popular while the other isn’t, I think it makes it more exciting to watch.
All the characters are likeable and funny, and I love that it doesn’t go too deep into the plot, but instead stays as a slice-of-life story.

Their interactions are so precious and loveable, my heart almost couldn’t take it. Very much rewatchable, I had an amazing time. So, if you are in search of something simple and heartwarming, this is the one!

Huh... what a mess so far

Not that I HATE it, I like some scenes, it is just a bit under-average story-wise.
The acting is all right, sometimes it feels very awkward though.

The chemistry between the main characters is weak, which I think they tried to overplay with the sex scenes (which mind you aren't amazing either). Having okay-ish sex scenes will not save your characters from not having any chemistry!

Prince and Gear’s story is flat-out boring. I don't care about them in the slightest, mostly because their argument about the forehead kiss is so damn stupid. They could’ve talked it out but didn’t, resulting in Prince crying. Which I could’ve felt sad about if it wasn’t Prince’s fault that the argument happened in the first place. Like dude obviously the guy that is trying to court you (and whom you like back!!!) will be upset if you share a forehead kiss with another person (who is also kind of dating someone at that moment)!!!
Sherbet keeps on sabotaging not only his own but also his best friend's relationship. I’m 100% taking Fah’s and Gear’s side on this.

Then EP 9 (episode right after the fight, where Fah is at the beach with Pink) happened and now I think this is a lost case for Fah and Gear. Both came back crawling to Sher and Prince, which they shouldn’t have done. Sher and Prince both do not deserve such easy forgiveness, they both never considered the feelings of the person they liked, acted like little children and still got away with it! How?! It was a skip-through EP for me, at the end I was mad at Fah and Gear. And come on… happy music during the “steamy” shower scene?

Ping and Tap are ok, their story is a little more heartfelt, which I like. It just seems more relatable, so I am able to understand their struggle a lot more.

Was it necessary to give Sherbet a twin brother? No, not really. It doesn't contribute to the story; he is just there to be boring filler.

Did I think of dropping this series more than once? Yes, 3 times.

To keep this short, this series isn’t a masterpiece by any means. But I also don’t think it's a dumpsterfire. It has its moments, though they aren’t very rememberable either.

so, so sweet!

Oh, I loved this one a lot.

The characters are all super likeable, the relationship development is sweet and to be honest, it is just very typical japanese BL, which isn't bad! I like to resort to the more uncomplicated series, as they bring me much more comfort than the overly serious shows. Tho I hate the miscommunication trope, it surprisingly didn't bother me as much as it usually does. Probably because the miscommunication happened late on and didn't stretch as much as it normally does in other shows.

To keep things short, this series is very wholesome and just the right one for a nice and comfy weekend, so check it out!

Huh? This is actually good?!

I didn't expect to love this one as much as I did.
I went into the first episode without thinking much of it, you know, with a neutral feeling. And then I watched the whole thing in one go. I love the characters, the story and, most of all, the ghost family. The relationship between the main leads didn’t feel weird or forced, it seemed like everything just perfectly fit in.

Room for improvement:
What kind of bugged me, was that we didn’t get to see more of the ghost world and how it works. I hope for a second season, where we will be able to dive into this more.
Sometimes the story drags, and the dialogue was often unnecessarily long and skippable.

The comedy-horror genre is, imo, so heavily underrated. But a series like this show, that it is actually very much enjoyable!
Really fun to watch, would definitely recommend it!

When the main couple becomes the least interesting one

I really enjoyed watching this one, the cast is nice, the quarrels between the characters were cute and the ending is great.

To jump straight to the point, IMO the main couple didn't deserve to be the mc, since their story was the most boring out of all the couples.

Bear and Bomb: Fan falls for Internet Star and they get into a relationship but face hardships since the Star becomes even more famous over time? Yes, please!

Lee and Park: Two grown men in a relationship of 7 years who are hiding the fact that they are in love due to personal reasons/issues, but want to mature and come out to their friends? So interesting!

Tim and Mai: A failed teenage confession because one of them was too dumb to realize his feelings, but learns how to love and cherish the other as time goes on? Give me now!

Kim and Mek: Generic Enemies to Lovers. Dragging story at times. Still cute tho.

To sum up, I would have enjoyed this series A LOT more if another couple would've been the lead couple. Mek and Kim's chemistry saved them though, so I still had a good time watching their relationship develop. :)

Fantastic atmosphere

The color palette, acting, and story are amazing! Gun and Off are veterans in the BL industry and sure know how to make the best out of a series/short movie. This mini-movie isn’t only for Babiis and BL-Lovers to enjoy, literally anyone can fall easily in love with it!
Special credit to the Colorists, the scenes were already so heartfelt, and the color scheme made it perfect.
The rather awkward relationship between the alien and the human was hilarious as it introduced an entirely new culture to us. Off and Gun played the characters so well, but what else to expect from them?
Definitely watch it if you haven’t yet.

Unexpectantly nice

When I first read the description for the series, I wasn’t sure what to think of it. I don’t enjoy minor–adult romance stories and was expecting a series following this kind of narrative. And oh boy, I am so glad Minato Shouji Coin Laundry didn’t turn out to be like this! Instead of a weird age-gap, adult-falling-for-minor-though-he isn’t-supposed-to story, we got an adorable series.

Things I liked:

- What I probably liked the most, is that Akira never made a move on Shin before he turned 18. This is a huge deal to me since many series don’t seem to care about legal dating ages in their storylines. It is a huge part of their love story, as Shin feels mature enough to date the 10 years older Akira, who on the other hand did fall for the younger but keeps to his morals of not dating a minor.

- The intro video. A very sweet and cute, simple one that fits perfectly for the story.

- Homophobia is not displayed in this one. Holy shit I love this so much. As a member of the lgbtqia+ community seeing the characters just being able to love whatever gender they want without experiencing hatred is so amazing. The arrival of the ex-girlfriend kind of made me worry about possible homophobia happening, I’m so glad it didn’t go down this road. And though insults never happen, the directors decided to keep the inner conflicts of the characters (e.g., Akira being worried about his former classmates finding out he is gay), which is awesome. Love this.

- The main- and subplot. Both plots are good(one more than the other though), as they all connect and don’t add unnecessary characters. Let’s talk about the Akira and Sakuma-Sensei plot first. When Akira was still a student he fell madly in love with Sakuma-Sensei and even confessed to him on his last day of school. After 10 years of not seeing his former teacher, Akira thought he had overcome his feelings and moved on. But then Sakuma returns to teach, and Akira realizes he still has feelings for him. Tough this messes with Shin’s plans of pursuing Akira, he starts to root for the two, wishing his crush a happy life. Long story short, after nervously avoiding Sakuma for some time, Akira decides to finally tell him that he still likes him but is turned down. Not long after Akira realizes his feelings for Shin. You can feel the inner conflict that Akira has and feel for him since Sakuma is a likable character and lovely person. Also, seeing Shin heartbrokenly rooting for his crush warmed my heart because it shows that he is trying to mature as a person, so he can have a chance with Akira.
The subplot is about Shin's best friend Asuka and his sister Sakurako both falling for Hiiragi, an architect. Sakurako and Asuka have already become good friends when Asuka finds out about her crush on Hiiragi. He doesn’t interfere much with it, as he knows that Hiiragi will reject the girl. The architect and the student share a past as friends, so he hopes that Hiiragi will choose him as his lover. This subplot works well, I enjoyed the scenes with Sakurako and Asuka bonding as friends.

Things I didn’t like:

- This might be an unpopular opinion, but Akira’s character being all immature and goofy was a bit draining, especially when he said himself, that he wanted to be more responsible. At some point his behavior just got annoying.

- Unhealthy start of a relationship. In the earlier episodes it seemed like Shin wasn’t all that much into Akira, but more into the idea of being in a relationship. Later this of course gets explained, still, the first episodes felt weird because of that.

- The inclusion of Akira’s ex-girlfriend wasn’t necessary in my opinion. It was nice to learn about his life before the laundry store, but it didn’t contribute to the series. The ex-GF felt like a character that was only there for explaining some stuff and throwing in unnecessary clichés to make Shin feel intimidated and jealous.

- Shin leaving in the 11th episode felt forced to me as if they felt like they had to throw in another cliché, just for the sake of having one.

- Shin's personality at some points in the series (not all the time!). Oh my god, if he doesn't want to kiss you, take a goddamn hint. Akira always acted reluctant to perform skin-ship with Shin which I, as said before, loved. The counterpart to that is that Shin always seemed to force himself onto Akira, trying to make him uncomfortable BEFORE becoming an adult(!!!). Didn't like that at all.

To sum up, I did enjoy watching it, it’s very sweet and wholesome (The scene when they held hands in bed>>>). Though I wish I would’ve watched it once all the episodes were released because waiting made me forget some stuff about the previous episodes. Not really rewatchable IMO, but lovely for a one-time-experience.
