indecisive businesswoman is odd

In my opinion, the Thai drama “Find Yourself” focuses more on the character Shane, played by Nonkul Chanon, than on Yin. Despite Yin having built her life and status on her own, her indecisiveness seems odd. Typically, women who have achieved such success are decisive and capable of making personal choices. As for Shane, I am very pleased with his perspective on life, which views money and wealth as tools to achieve life goals, rather than as the ultimate aim and meaning of life.

just devoured it in one go.

I can’t say there is anything specific I’d praise about this series, yet I watched it all in one day, unable to stop—just devoured it in one go. The only downside was the subtitles, which were in pure English. Sometimes, the translation was a bit too literal or off. But even so, I enjoyed this series more than many others from big studios like GMMTV.

A nice blend of supernatural, detective, and romantic elements

What I like about the series is that it's not really a sports movie, as you might conclude from the title. It's more like a nice blend of supernatural, detective, and romantic elements woven into a sports movie plot. There's a mysterious undercover villain that adds an intriguing layer to the story. The characters are well-developed and psychologically complex, making plot twists less predictable, which I appreciate.
I've never been a fan of sports movies, but I really enjoyed this one. The original soundtrack is also quite good; I've listened to it many times.
But now, let me tell you about the things I don't like about the series. The final episode is really a mess. The actions of both the villain and the hero lack logic. A small, insignificant slip provokes the cool-headed villain into self-destructive, suicidal actions. Meanwhile, the hero accepts his lover's dubious actions without question. There should have been a stronger foundation for defeating the villain and at least two episodes dedicated to the lovers' journey back to normal.

Babe

Tharn's (Babe) performance is absolutely captivating. Despite his restrained acting and almost emotionless facial expressions, his eyes were so expressive that they stayed with me long after the series ended. I'm eagerly awaiting his next projects; unfortunately, I haven't heard any news about upcoming series he'll be in. The series' OST ลางสังหรณ์, was also enchanting.

OST and Hiran steal the show

Two things of this series has managed to leave a lasting impression on me: beautiful OST, which I was waiting for at the end of each episode, and the compelling performance of Bright Vachirawit as Hiran. While Hiran may be a secondary character, his complex psychology and morally ambiguous actions steal the show. Bright's portrayal of Hiran is nothing short of phenomenal. His ability to convey a range of emotions, from vulnerability to cold-heartedness, is truly remarkable. The character's internal struggles and conflicting desires are palpable, making him a fascinating and unforgettable figure. It's rare to see such a nuanced portrayal of a villain, and Bright's performance elevates the series to new heights.

Though no chemistry, in my opinion

Overall, I am very satisfied with the series . It boasts excellent cinematography, an engaging plot, and strong performances. However, I cannot share the overly high ratings given by other users.

In my opinion, the series lacks chemistry between the main characters, Jom and Yai. This might be because, in real life, they do not have BL relationships. As a result, there is a constant emotional distance between the characters. While Nonkul Chanon's restrained acting style is generally fitting, the relationship between Jom and Yai feels more like that of two people stranded on a deserted island—brought together and bonded solely by circumstances.

Despite this, I really enjoyed the series. It offers a unique take on the BL genre, combining elements of history, fantasy, and mystery, making it truly special.

Burger made my day

I thoroughly enjoyed the performance of the actor who played Burger. He is a fresh new face, and his lively and spontaneous acting brought a lot of effortless humor to the role. I hope to see him in more upcoming series. His directness and humor transformed the traditionally vanilla presentation of BL films and series, without falling into the trap of being campy or sitcom-like. The film left me in a light-hearted mood, filled with the dreams of childhood.
