Now this is what I call a SITCOM! Extending the episodes is such a smart move so that it will not be too rushed in the end.

The first episode had some potential to keep me going. Weird and unusual moments, embarrassing moments, romantic moments, depressing moments, the story kept going on and on and every situation is so exciting to watch. As it progressed, it became more hilarious, more exciting on romance, and more tense (in some parts). You will jump and scream from romantic excitement because of the couples AHHH! I got to admit that in the last 2-3 episodes, just a pinch of scenarios didn't really rouse me but most parts did really made me laugh and excited. This is perfect for most of you (depends on your taste) especially for me since I get stressed most of the time, this is my stress reliever and you can't just watch this in the middle of the night because you might wake your whole family from laughing too hard (LOL!). Definitely a great light drama and it deserves more recognition indeed.

The cast did an amazing job as always. But the STAR of this drama is SOL! YES! GIVE HER AN AWARD! I got to admit Jun Ki's character was annoying to me during the start of the drama but as it progressed, his character became likable to me and I feel thankful for that. Other than that, the lead and supporting actors/actresses did a superb job on their acting. The chemistry of the couples is also amazing! And I love the bromance too. <3

I would REWATCH this in times of depression, anxiety and stress! The OST is amazing and I can't stop listening to it.

This is one of the dramas where you will feel like you are forgetting everything that surrounds you when you're watching this. For those who haven't watch this, PLEASE! WATCH THIS. THIS IS REALLY GOOD!

(SEASON 2 PLEASE!) T-T

I was so busy that's why I just finished the Korean drama just now. But here we go!

"STORYLINE OF ME BEFORE WATCHING IT"
At first, I was not going to watch this because Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo has the same airing week as LOTBS and I feel like the viewers liked WFKBJ more than this and some say that it's boring and cliche, so I don't want to watch it. Then after months, a friend recommend me to watch it but I doubt that I will like this drama. But after finishing this, I think that LOTBS is GREAT! WFKBJ is better but LOTBS is great too! Here are the reasons why:

PLOT/STORY - I really like the story. I don't know why you think that it's boring. Yes, I have to agree that it's a bit convoluted or complex because of things going on, but that's what it is all about to be honest, to have it's thrill and having questions in our mind about what will happen next. Yes, I also have to agree that it is predictable, maybe it is just me that likes the drama being predictable on some scenes. But some scenes are not predictable for me, I was always questioning myself about what will happen next (maybe I am a clueless person that's why I can't think outside the box LOL). I love the reincarnation idea too! Well to be honest, I'm almost going to drop the drama because of the start of episode 1, but because of the funny moments of the mermaid, it made me want to watch more.

This drama made me laugh because of the mermaid & the cast, clenched my teeth and curse words because of the villain, & tense because of all the thriller. And it really ended out well. I gave it 9 and not 10 because even though it's a great drama, there are still questions that are unanswered and I wish that you made the ending very detailed. I'm not a harsh & strict critic so yeah. :D I cried but just a few seconds for the main couple but it didn't emotionally hit me COMPLETELY, but it made me emotional though.. Like 75%. So in short, the story was great and even though it's complex, it still works for me and gave me mixed emotions.

ACTING/CAST - Okay, I got to agree with you that the main characters which are the couples (Cheong and Joon Jae) missed something. I don't know if it is that chemistry or closure. There are times that I smile because of their sweet scenes but the couples didn't made me jump with joy and scream (because that's how I will react when they have great chemistry), but I didn't. I just smiled and cry a bit. I kinda giggled though with Cha Shi Ah and Tae Oh's development because they are so cute. I think the cast did well. The villain character (the woman) really made me clenched my teeth and scream with anger, because she is that good. Other casts did so well too so I don't have problems with the others. I think Lee Min Ho's acting is great, what the eff are y'all saying?! He doesn't have emotion sometimes because that's the personality of the character. Good job!

MUSIC - The songs are not memorable though but it really fits to the drama. I don't get why you find the theme song cheesy, it sounds perfectly fine for me (or maybe because I can't understand the lyrics because I am not Korean)

REWATCH VALUE - I am not that kind of person to rewatch some korean dramas but I would watch this again but for a very long time.

I'm going to miss this drama though because it is really good. I would recommend you guys to watch it. :) (for those who are way more outdated than me that didn't watch this yet LOL)

As a member of the LGBT, I would like to say THANK YOU to the director for having the courage to make this kind of movie and to show that it is not bad to make genres like this because of discrimination. It really warms my heart and I hope for more movies or dramas like this. <3

Let's move on to the review.

I like the plot, the guy being sexually confused and all of that, but I agreed to most of the comments that it is a bit rushed for the character's development to bloom. I want to know more about their roles and more about the story line. It could've been more of a drama series than a movie to make it smooth. The ending, I just can't. Another deduction of the point for the story line because of the ending, it left me hanging, I'm like "That's it?", Again, I wanted to know more and more about the characters, the story and the aftermath,  but rather than that, I think that it is really a good plot & the mixture of suspense and romance, it just needed to be longer.

The characters. A BIG SALUTE to OH SEUNG HOON (Yeong Woo) and PARK SON WOONG (Jae Ha) for also having the courage to take those roles. Oh Seung Hoon is just a rookie to acting but he is doing so well and I wish him for more leads because I will watch his dramas/movies for sure. <3

The background music really fits the scenes so I have no problem with it.

Rewatch? I would rewatch for that short romance of Yeong Woo and Jae Ha (LOL). But plot-wise, I would watch it again also.

Overall, amazing cast and acting, good story line, and great movie! :)

PS. I'm having a crush on Seung Hoon after watching this because of taking the role, omg Nam Joo Hyuk I'm sorry, I will always love you and support you :')

I'm so sad that this drama had to end. This drama is one of my favorites!

This drama started out so good, and as it progressed, it is always consistent and ended out well, & I am so happy for it.

What I love about this drama is that it is not just all about those two couples with their cute and romantic scenes, but it is also all about not giving up on your dreams and you can reach it despite of people letting you down because of your education and financial status. This drama is giving you lessons in life, and I like that.

Thank you for adding some epilogues and prologues in some episodes that gives us idea about the main characters' backgrounds.

There are no fillers, every scene is so interesting! Both of the couples have chemistry that is so amazing and I could jump up and down & shipping those couples in real life. I just love every scenes and those unexpected twists that you can't get bored of it.

I am so glad that every person who are rude to Ae Ra, Dong Man and Sul Hee get what they deserved. HA! That's what you all get. Suckers. (LOL!)

I was scared that it will be rushed on the last 2 episodes because of so many problems during the 14th episode. But thank goodness every problem was solved well. I just wished that they could've made it a bit... longer. Like 4 more episodes or just 2, just for the normal pacing of the plot. That's why I gave 9.5 on story. I wanted to see a bit more. Just a little bit.

This drama gave me mixed emotions. Happiness, sadness, anger, tension & laughter. Even all of you can feel this while watching the episodes.

Drama, Romance, Family, Action & Comedy. These genres in the drama are like a well cooked meal, they are the right spices for it and it is well balanced.

The OST is so good. The music really fits on the drama and it is really cute. Some songs have like those 70s or 80s (I don't know) vibe into it, and I am loving it!

Overall, the drama is AMAZING!

I am not much of a re-watcher but I'll definitely re-watch it if I'm not that busy with life. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS DRAMA! Going to miss this.

This is actually a good korean drama. Not that great, but it's good.

The story is not that great actually. However, I do like the idea of DBS who is a strong woman and it is focused on women empowerment. I just don't like how there are scenes that is actually not needed in the second half of the drama, makes me feel like the writer got lazy on making surprising and unique scenes, there are also cliche outcomes on some scenes, that's why I already expected what is going to happen and it really did. The gang scenes are funny at first but in the second half of the drama, it is pretty annoying now. But other than that, the last 2 episodes had a great improvement. I just wanted unique that can make the viewers go "WOW!". There are some gay jokes that is a bit offensive but some of it are funny. The funny scenes really made me laugh out loud though and some scenes made me cry. What I love the most are the couple scenes. They are so cute and they have a great chemistry. When it comes to the cutest couple, it goes to DBS and AMH. I would've wished that they minimize the gang scenes and focus more on the couple and the thriller scenes.

I love their acting! I love the chemistry of Park Bo Young and Park Hyung-sik. It felt like they are couples for real that their acting is so natural. THANK YOU FOR PAIRING THEM. Park Bo Young is the cutest woman alive and Park Hyung-sik's smile and stare is so adorable, cute and charming! Other casts did so well at acting too.

Some songs are cute, some songs are great, some songs are not memorable.

I would rewatch for the 2nd time, but if I can watch for the 3rd time and so forth, I would skip some scenes that are not needed. I just can't help but watch the cute couple!

I discovered this drama after I finished Goblin because I want to see more of Gong Yoo. I know that I'm so late and this was since 2007, but I don't care. And to be honest, this is not what I was expecting.

STORY - I love the idea of the homosexuality (not because that I'm part of the LGBT too.. Well, maybe that's one of the reasons). Since I am bisexual, me imagining that Eun Chan is really a guy, Han Gyul falling for a guy and their scenes together before Han Gyul knew the truth really made me jump on my bed and scream on the inside (especially on the beach part). I also love how the atmosphere changed so fast, like the scene was jumping with joy and then the following would be heartbreaking. I really like it. I love the plot. It's typical, yes, but it makes it interesting and I love it! I also like the idea of the love square. When Yoo Joo and Han Gyul have their cute scenes, I was like "NO. NO!" because I ship Eun Chan and Han Gyul and thank goodness for a good ending. I gave it 9.5 though because of the ending. I really wanted to know what happened next, I even expected for their wedding! LOL.

ACTING/CAST - The acting is superb. Every members of the cast did an AMAZING JOB in doing their roles. I mean, COME ON! They are amazing! Gong Yoo is daddy as always and I love their connection with Eun Hye. Their chemistry is amazing!

MUSIC - The music is good but not memorable. The La La La song got stuck in my head though.

REWATCH VALUE - I would watch it again when I'm in the mood to watch.

This drama is refreshing to watch and it lightens my mood! Another heartwarming drama

Let me start with the plot. From the first look of it, you will know the bad-guy-pities-the-poor-girl or the rich-family-controls-marriage cliches and I already know what the ending will be. But those cliches are "worth watching" to this drama. What I admire most is the comedy, I laughed most of the time because it was so good. I cried at some points of the story. The pacing was spot-on and the development of the characters is very well, everything was explained like I wanted it to. (LITTLE SPOILER I GUESS: I did not expect for the marriage in the ending to be like that LOL)

The casts... Speechless... They did so well. From being sad, angry, happy, funny, everything!, Everyone did so well! Bravo!

I love the OST, of course. SOME ARE CUTE AND SOME ARE SAD AND I CANT STOP LISTENING TO THE SONGS HELP ME!!! The sound effects of the comedy scenes really adds the hilariousness of the drama.

I would re-watch it again. I'm going to miss this :)

I rated 10 on all of it. Here's the reason why:

Story: The story is so refreshing, it is very light yet you still have the urge to watch it and it not like other light cliche dramas. I love the idea of using sports! I love how the story tells about what athletes feel and how do athletes live despite of their problems in life. This youth, sport, light drama is perfection!

ACTING/CAST: Joon Hyung and Kim Bok Joo are PERFECT for each other. Their acting is so real that I thought they dated in real life. I love their connection, especially when they are in a relationship. The kiss feels so real, the hugs, etc. Kim Bok Joo (Lee Sung Kyung) is so cute and beautiful at the same time, I love her acting cute because she is cute! Nam Joo Hyuk is perfect on the Joon Hyung character. He is really good at teasing, he made me cry, etc. Kyung Soo Jin plays perfectly on the Si Ho character, I love the acting of her being obsessed and depressed from her problems. And other actors/actresses did well too. Really awesome.

MUSIC: THE OST IS SO CUTE and it brings you to a different world. I even downloaded the OST and some background music (I don't know if it is weird or crazy to download the background), because you feel like you are also in the drama and it really relaxes you. The soundtracks are cute and it makes you cry for some songs. It is perfect.

OVERALL: It... is... PERFECT! I can't stop repeating the drama. It has been months now and I still can't get over it. You should watch it if you are into youth and light dramas. It really deserved to have higher ratings on Korea. It's sad that it is a bit low on ratings on viewers.

I saw the trailer of this in our country (Philippines) so I decided to watch this without the dubbing, and this is my first ever Chinese drama. This makes me feel like the aftermath of watching Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (which is my first ever Korean Drama) where I feel so empty and so sad that it ended. This is my taste and I just love it! I can't believe I'm too late in watching this so only a few of you can see my review about this.

Yes, I really do know and predict the conclusion of the drama and it is a typical cliche high school love where there is a cold-hearted guy and a girl who has a big crush on the guy, girls trying to get Jiang Chen away from Xiao Xi and there is also a love triangle. But I didn't expect the pacing of the story. I didn't expect that the stories will skip to college life and then turning into a full grown adult. Tbh, I think it was too fast during the last parts of the drama, but I still enjoyed everything about this drama. I wish they slowed down and let Season 2 be about their college life and adult, matured life. But still, I enjoyed and adored the drama.

What I love the most about this drama is the chemistry between Jiang Chen and Xiao Xi. Even at the start (with Jiang Chen still being cold), I still find it cute and I can't contain the excitement. I was supposed to be sad for Jiang Chen when he gets jealous but umm.. I can't stop smiling because he really did care <3 Okay I won't spoil some but the chemistry between them is just amazing. I feel bad for Bo Song though (2nd lead syndrome), but I'm still for Jiang Chen and Xiao Xi (sorry LOL). Other couples are so cute too. Jiang Chen is the most fitting role because it really fits his voice, his aura and his actions.

I can't believe the main casts and some supporting casts are new. I really hope for all the success and more main roles.
Especially for you Hu Yi Tian (Jiang Chen), because you just gained a fan. You're like a Chinese Nam Joo Hyuk (not the personality, but the way he looks because of being tall and his smile) and I'm a Nam Joo Hyuk lover lol. But since you're really new, I will stalk you like Nam Joo Hyuk and support your acting career all the way :) <3

Overall, it is still a perfect 10 despite of the pacing in the end. Why? Because I enjoyed and feel every moment in the drama and I finished the drama in just 2 days because I can feel the drama and their cliche story (yes, It's cliche but who cares? I love the plot).

Like in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, I will re-watch when I have time (cus college soon lol) and I will forever adore this and I will miss this :(

(THE LAST PART IS SO BEAUTIFUL I WANTED TO CRY but I didn't)
Season 2 for their college life / adult life but you just did it already in a fast pacing, sigh. :((((((((((

You can see the other reviews so I'll just say it briefly.

The plot made me sleepy and it is all over the place that I don't know what's the goal.

Nam Joo Hyuk I will always love you (and Lee Sung Kyung) and your acting career but this one is a big NO for your role. :( Doesn't fit. Shin Se Kyung, your acting here is a bit meh. Sorry. Krystal and Gong Myung are much better acting in this drama.

The music though is good to listen and there is one song that I like.

I dropped this already after episode 12 because it didn't excite me and is really boring D:

This is the only "School" series that I watched. Never watched School 2013/2015, but I think this is a great drama to watch.

I must say, the plot is great. The investigation to find X, the relationship of the parents and the main roles, the corruption of the administration, the rich students and parents who dodges the bullet every time, the romances of the roles, the friendship, bullying, etc., there are a lot of things going on in the drama which makes me have mixed emotions like anger, happiness, anxiety and romantic excitement. The last 2 episodes are a bit rushed for me because I wanted it to be longer to keep the flow of the story smooth that's why the points are deducted. Other than that, I think the story is amazing and it leaves life lessons.

The cast, they executed their roles amazingly and it makes me amazed too. Kim Se Jung (Eun Ho) & Kim Jung Hyun (Tae Woo) fit through their roles and make up a cute and lovable couple which is great to watch, and their acting is so good for rookies and I didn't know that their just new to the acting business. Jang Dong Yoon (Dae Hwi) and Seol In Ah (Nam Joo) also make up a great couple. Can't believe they're new to acting too, they executed their roles so well. Other than that, other casts (villains, staff, other students) did executed their roles very well so I gave it a 10.

The music, I don't mind the music at all. I just deducted .5 because there are some music that didn't hit my emotions.

Overall, a great drama to watch and if you can handle your emotions well, you can watch this drama. :)

First of all, I would like to say thank you for making this Korean Drama.

Let me say the good things first:
1. I love their acting on the sad scenes, I mean, they made me moved and cry.
2. The music is PERFECT because it really fits in specific scenes. The background music adds that tension, depressed and happy feelings. If the scenes made me cry, the added background music made me cry more.
3. I think the plot is good :) The bromance is good too.

Now the not-so-good things:
1. There are some parts that I don't feel the romantic connection between the Goblin and the High School Girl. I don't know why, but I just don't feel it (I even love the connection between the Grim Reaper and the Chicken Restaurant Owner than the 2 leads), but during the middle till the end (especially when the lead girl character is 29 y/o), I am feeling their connection and I liked it.
2. I don't like the thing where they add something (like a recap) on some episodes that makes it damn long, I even have to skip it, sorry but I'm an impatient person.
3. I love the sad scenes more than some scenes, because in some scenes, I got bored a little bit (I used my phone during the boring scenes, which means that I really got bored). I was not interested (a bit) on the flashbacks (idk why, sorry D: )

My rewatch value is 7 because I could watch it again, but I'm that type of person who doesn't want to watch depressing scenes again because I don't want to cry a lot.

Overall, I think the drama is great! I cannot count how many times I cried in just this drama.. Probably 30 or 40 LOL. Because most of the scenes really made me cry.

I would definitely recommend it to those who doubt about the crazy plot. The plot may sound weird to some, but when you watch it, you will feel butterflies on your stomach and you can’t contain the excitement, also, you will feel mixed emotions. (Unless if light, fluffy, romantic drama is not your cup of tea)

When you look at the title, you seem to know already the main plot of the drama where you pretend to be a robot and then one day, it will be discovered soon and then there will be trust issues, yada yada yada. Since I watched these kinds of dramas, I already know that, but I loved the execution of the story line and the acting. I like how the plot is simple yet interesting. Started simple, ended simple. Some people think that simple is boring, but in this drama, I don’t think so. I smiled, cried, and laughed while watching this. Though the drama still had unexplained things, it ended well, the pacing is good, and I like it.

The cast. Oh my gosh. I love the cast and their characters. Jo Ji A and Kim Min Kyu are great characters and their relationship is so beautiful. The characters and the romance make the drama more interesting to watch. Everyone did an amazing job.

Music is great, of course. I'm replaying the OST LOL! I’m not basically a re-watcher unless if the drama is really, really memorable but I would re-watch the comedy and romantic scenes.
Overall, decent drama. Not memorable for me but I would, again, really recommend it to those who haven’t watched yet.

This is my first time to watch a Korean drama full of unexpected events and a lot of suspense. I must say, this is the best drama plot-wise so far that I've watched. <3

Let me start with the plot. This is the best paced plot that I saw so far. The pacing of the plot is so smooth and normal that I can know the background of all characters very well. The transitioning is so good. The prosecuting/law genres and the supernatural power to dream about the future really complimented each other very well and there are a lot of plot twists that I love. I thought the ending would be disappointing but I think everything ended well for me. ALMOST everything was well explained. Almost? Why the word "almost"? Well, it's because there are just little things that I wanted to know about the plot in order for it to be perfect. For example, they didn't explained how Hong Joo got that power to dream possible futures in the first place. I don't know. I really wanted the kind of drama to explain everything which were the plot and the characters (really strict when it comes to those things). But a big salute to the director(s) for this kind of drama. Very unique indeed. 9.5!

Ugh let me just say the characters did so well at acting. They really showed their expertise and experience in acting to this drama. Their sadness and struggles really made me cry and also did so well when it comes to comedy. Let me just say that Hong Joo and Jae Chan had such great chemistry but why do I feel butterflies in my stomach whenever I see Hong Joo and Woo Tak's scenes? I don't know what's wrong with me. I hope for a RomCom drama with Suzy and Hae In SO BADLY (PLEASE PLEASE). Anyways, A perfect 10 for the marvelous acting skills!~

The music, nothing to say. Really fits with the scenes. Perfect 10!~

It's really rare for me to re-watch because I keep on watching new dramas after another but I would watch this again (and Hae In's hot body and handsome face AHH :D)

Overall? Giving it a 10, despite of a little hiccup on the plot because it's just based on my perspective. I loved it. One of the best dramas that I've watched. Wishing for another season since it focuses on crime cases. ;) BRAVO!

Another amazing BL Korean movie.

This one is different. This one will give you mixed emotions, and it is also dark.

This is a big eye-opening movie because we all know that LGBT is a very sensitive topic around the world and people need to start with accepting people who are different.

I love the plot. It's not like other cheezy romantic BL movies. This one is different. It leads to a lot of lessons. The ending is also good.

Gotta love the character development of the 2 amazing actors and their chemistry. Different chemistry, which I love. Job well done!
