Both series are dark and you feel the misery throughout. Two young men take care of each other when they have no one else and their parents fail them. They eventually fall in love. Both Gray shelter and Happy of the end have a happy/hopeful ending. Happy of the end has more trigger warnings and traumatic things that happen.

-give off similar vibes. They are feel-good and sweet but they have some problems that they talk about.
