Other than that, the drama was seriously boring. The love story was bleak, the magic fantasy mythology incomplete and never explained properly, the plot was tiring to watch and follow and overall, the pace was too slow and the ending horrible. I mean, if there was at least a nice conclusion I would have rated this one with an additional star, but, unfortunately, the final scenes was just... confusing and unsatisfying. I mean, what happened?? What was that?? I keep thinking about it and I can't figure it out.
So three out of ten because of the performances, some few cute moments and the soundtrack.

Now, for the story: it was fast paced and full of twists, sespence and action scenes. However, some scenes were repeated towards the ending. And the story reminded me of the anime assassination classroom for the first episodes. But, overall it was quite a thrill and with powerfull performances.

However, even though the story was good and very impressive, the drama had a slow start. It felt like it was dragging on for the first half. In the second half, fortunately, it picked up. The action scenes were more plenty and the plot thickened. Kudos for the ending as well, as it was bold to conclude things like this.
Moreover, the performances were excellent from all the actors and they were many many characters in this drama, so it was harder to pull off concistant performances from all of them. One thing that bothered me though, was the constant changing of the language of the dialogues throughout the drama. But that might not bother everyone.
Finally, the costumes and settings were really good and felt original and well made. Though the soundtrack wasn't that impressive, it suited the drama's mood well enough.
So, overall, 7 out of 10.

Not Good Enough
Japanese Movie '' Kazoku '' is a drama that blends multiple stories of four men and their families. The movie has a brilliant cinematography, with smooth shots and nicely handled light and shadows. The sharp editing also helped with the story's mood, with some scenes bringing to mind home movies.
On the other hand, the movie suffered a lot due to its short length. As it is a film about four different characters and their families, a one hour and twenty minutes run time is too short for the stories to develop properly and for the message to come across. Thus, the whole film felt like a music video, with half-baked storylines; storylines that had so much potential, especially Kenji's and Takeo's.
Finally, the performances were enjoyable and really strong by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, four out of ten.

Good Enough
Korean Drama " My Dearest part 2" is the second part of the popular tv series, giving the story a proper ending. The drama is a turbulence of a story, with a melodramatic plot with many twists. However, this time around, they tended to repeat things and plot twists. They also focused too much on the palace politics and deprived screen time from other main side characters, thus, leaving their stories half baked.
Still, the story was enjoyable and the ending just right for the mood of the drama.
The performances, finally, were great by everyone.
So, overall, seven out of ten.
