Overly dramatic acting, this series is definitely for teenagers
Honestly the male lead has carried the show, because the female lead’s acting is too overly dramatic and it made me cringe. It’s definitely one that makes a teenager’s heart flutter and I can totally understand that but realistically speaking, a lot of the story seems to be really forced, especially the way they find their way back together. Was this review helpful to you?
A beautiful ending foreveryone.
The one show I started with no expectation other than Kim Soo Hyun but, to say this drama had me hooked till the very last minute of the ending. A very heart wrenching plot. The title said "Queen of Tears" exactly, we all were in tears while watching each episode. This show had taken me on a emotional roller coaster, with each passing episodes, from felling heart broken for Baek Hyun Woo, feeling loved over how a women can admire her partner secretly to the extreme, feeling hatred and sad at the same time for the antagonist who, finally died without getting an ounce of love he yearned for. I would watch this show over and over again as i might never get tired of it. The chemistry in loving, misunderstanding, fighting and even waiting for each other, between the main cast has been the cherry on top, serving every emotion we needed. Sure gonna miss them but lets hope for another master piece like this in the future. Was this review helpful to you?
Well deserved Daesang for Park Eun Bin
Honestly I don’t know how Park Eun Bin did it, I cannot think of anyone else who could have done what she was able to pull off in this show. She’s truly a talent. She was able to portrait a disabled person realistically without causing any discomfort for the watchers. She was able to make me love her characters without feeling sorry.

A classic that you can rewatch 100 times
This series is one that you can’t hate anybody in the drama. You fall in love with everybody. You cry with them and laugh with them. I admire their musical and instrumental skills and how hard they worked to bring us the live show after.I wish they could have 10 seasons. What a wonderful show!

A touching comforting story without those typical overly dramatic annoying kdrama scenes
I’m the type of person who often skips a lot when watching kdramas that are overly dramatic. Reply 1988, Hospital playlists are amongst those I barely skip any scenes. Now Twinkling Watermelon is added to my top list of dramas that I watch through the whole thing. And Ryeoun, where do I even start… I fell in love with him, I admire his talents, from playing the guitar to portraying the complicated emotions and even the ability to use sign language comfortably and fluently. Watching him was such a joy to my heart. When I watch the behind the scenes series, it amazes me even more to find out how hard he’s been practising playing guitar. He’s going to make it big one day, hopefully very soon. Was this review helpful to you?
