I enjoyed the series. There were many good elements to it. What I liked most is the family dynamic. They are fun, loving, supportive and honestly funny. Though they showed moments when they appeared afraid they were bold in it. The female lead was refreshing. She was smart, talented, brave, a great fighter, leader and funny. Male lead was very cute and supportive. The chemistry was fair and awesome in some moments.

The story was fair overall. The beginning was exciting, engaging and truthfully had me hooked. Once you get to the mid/end of the series; It was nothing to scream about but it was descent. Around ep 30 or so it just kind of ran off on it’s on. It wasn’t terrible but you know when something major happens and is resolved, you feel like it should be the end but in this case it wasn’t. They just kept the camera going.

The ending was good but after such a long awaited ending I would have preferred a bang.

Overall, I’d recommend it. It’s sweet and funny. Downside, the plot disappears in the later half.

Great story. Great acting. This was so intense. I have to admit that while the synopsis may be true it’s a little more complex than what’s stated. It’s not merely he was cheating and her world was over. This was hard truth that came but was hidden. This is a mistake that grew. This is passion vs real love, second chances and letting go, revenge of the sweetest kind and finding peace. Imagine having a feeling that somethings not right but the feeling being denied. Man I never wanted to smack someone so much. Great series with a fair ending however I wish it was a lot sweeter considering the build up and the internal struggles they experienced. Again would have loved a joyful ending for the female lead. All that grief needed some.

Lively and interesting series. I feel odd saying this but I was so excited to watch this but it honestly did play out on that expected note. The series started out at a fairly decent pace and it was initially very captivating. It was upbeat. The characters seemed like they were going to be these amazing and powerful people so I decided to give it a go. Overall the series was OK. Now my OK may not seem fair to all of the Dilraba fans but this is just how I felt. I personally felt like she didn’t bring any emotions to this character and I found myself somewhat disinterested in the events surrounding her. I am assuming that she was to be portrayed as this loyal and heroic person but I think how it came together it just didn’t work. She was pretty, could fight and was smart but she didn’t really do anything that got me hyped. Our male lead had some amazing fight scenes and he really revealed how dynamic is acting skills were on many scenes.

Now for the first time, after so many series: I was more drawn to the second leads\couple. There were so many emotions going on with these two. It was heartfelt, sweet and somewhat exciting too. In truth, you get more development from the second leads than from anyone else. You also get a beginning, middle and conclusion. Yes, no cliffhangers.

Overall it was fair. It’s not on my rewatch list. I really did love the music.

Cast: I am definitely a fan of the female lead. I have enjoyed almost every drama she has stared in. Today I can officially say that the ML is also going to be an actor that I am watching for. He’s performance in this series with amazing. From the main leads to the secondary to the supporting cast, every cast member performed well. The energy that they brought to series really made it what it was.

Action: there was tons it. The fighting in this series is one that had me rewinding and re-watching them more than twice. Some of the choreography in terms of how they maneuver around and did all of these moves while they were fighting is something that was commended by followers and viewers while watching this series. I can almost guarantee that if you watched it you are going to rewind a couple of these scenes at least three times. They did not dial back with the action. In truth it almost look like these people are good actors but they’re not but it always looks so cool real.

Plot: what can I say? Initially I wasn’t really sure what the flight was but if you read the synopsis you will get somewhat of an idea. In reality it’s a battle of kingdoms. And not multiple kingdoms there’s really just one main one and then you have a few small little class but there is bickering and plotting amongst the minor one toward the larger one. I believe that the bigger plot about one princess a.k.a. the female lead fight for justice and her revenge. Although the revenge is really not a major part of the series. From start to finish you don’t really feel like the theories were all over the place. Everything had a clear point and added value.

Romance: yes I put a romance tag here because it’s listed under the genre historical romance. To be completely honest I liked the series a great deal but in terms of romance, it wasn’t present. Which leads me to my next point; the chemistry between the leads was almost nonexistent. Hilarious point is when they have a kiss scene or about to kiss, they’re replaced with a bird kissing each other supplement. Throughout series I also felt like they were just not in sync. I guess another word it just means that I didn’t really feel the intimacy. And yes you can have intimacy without all of the censored singing is it spell more like friends not lovers.

Characters: most of the characters were likable. Of course in every series I have to be a villain and we do have one here. The twister that is the villain is kind of an unexpected one. My favorite character in the series is best ‘Sher’. He’s not the main lead but for me he appears to be loyal, sweet, and passionate.

2nd FL and 2nd ML were great. They had such character growth.

No really overly annoying cast members.

Just okay

I watch many Thai dramas so I wasn’t expecting much maybe something cliche but this one was different. In the beginning you can feel the chemistry between the leads and you get excited about where things will lead but.........

the good:. It most certainly started out on an interesting note. The pacing is pretty good, the situation‘s are good and interesting as well. The leads seem to have really good chemistry.

The bad: for a 16 episode romance drama, the mood was often somber. The the end of the series our leads are still going back and forth with their stance of commitment which was disappointing. Last but not least, the ending was less than enjoyable. It was vague and gives no closure. To sum it up, we have that famous until we meet again theme in the very last episode which ruined it for me.

I thing it’s okay to watch but definitely not a rewatch or one I’d recommend.

I just started watching the series last night and I really was not sure what to expect of it. The title of the series someone pulls you in and it seemed friendly, subtle and somewhat uplifting so my drama has begun.

The series started out interesting and was enough to keep you invested for the next. I was excited but then the “let’s lie, it’ll be best” event comes along and you realize there’s a train wreck ahead. I for one am not a fan of movies or series of any kind that has the foundation of it all build on the lie. I’ve said it before I feel like I’m watching the whole time waiting for a big ball to drop off for someone to get hit in the face with an egg. And in both cases even though we know there’s a wreck coming we can’t help but watching. So far I am enjoying the vibe from who I assume is the supporting cast. They definitely gave a different feel to the series. As of right now I have watched episode 1 thru 3 and I am choosing to rate it a five star. It may sound unfair but it’s getting a bit old to have the series revolving around a big mystery lie that was stupid and absolutely unnecessary.

**Update: if you can make it past episode 10 things will get a lot better. Although there still some hidden information it is not so extreme. I will admit that I am more invested in the second couple than I am in the first simply because their storyline has a lot more engaging activity going on. it’s just more interesting. I increase the rating because it seem to me that the story got better after episode 10. It was a little less draggy and the excessive lying somewhat stopped which made it a whole lot better. There’s great acting, not so much chemistry going on but there are some heartfelt moments that will tug at you. Ep 10-40 was an improvement. I will warn you that there’s a time jump of 9 years from episode 8-9.

Ep 10-79
Yes, such a huge time. Things have happened but nothing major. Unfortunately these 69 episodes will only provoke you to anger, frustration or disgust. This is the first time I have watched a series this long without having viewed any real progress or development. There has been no major developments only lying and disgusting behavior by rich people. Not cute. In truth if you skip episodes, you won’t be lost because nothing major or worth while takes place.

Ep 80-84
Finally some truths are revealed but sadly it doesn’t change a thing in the vibe or behavior of the cast. Still going at the same pace with the same feel ( greedy ex-wife displaying self righteous behavior to her ex ex husband, sheepish sister doing what she does best accepting the deception she received and crazy ex in-laws acting ruthless and superior. How I long for character growth but at this point I don’t see it happening)

85-100 gets a bit more upbeat. There are some minor revelations and understandings that take place. The ending is okay, pleasing. Karma refused to show up but I think inner humanity did. Overall it’s okay

I am really a fan of the ML but this one fell a bit short for me. I originally thought it would be about an unexpected bond between two people but it turned into a complete mess. Almost talk show worthy. Definitely not a rewatch for me. It had many of the things that I dislike such as extended misunderstandings, lack of communication with those you claim to love, believing everyone excepted the good guys. FL started out smart but by mid series she really just seemed ridiculous. I’ve never rated a series this low with e ML in it but this one was a hard watch. When you have one character that constantly does the ridiculous thing only to realize later it was ridiculous, I just can’t like it. It was excessive and the ending was putting a bandaid on a stab wound.

If your here for romance, you get a few scenes but the majority is plotting, misunderstandings and poor choices.

First of all, I think any cat lover will probably love this series. It’s short and sweet. The writers did an amazing job of depicting real cat behaviors in their curiosity with fluffy and furry things. It was quite comical to be honest.

Initially I was not interested in this series because the idea of a person becoming a cat, back and forth was not intriguing. After several attempts to restart it and I finally finished it and found that I am not completely dissatisfied with it.

The positives about the series is that it is very funny in terms of cat nature and human behavior. It is really energetic and the pace is upbeat. I also feel that the cast did an amazing job betraying their characters really well. Their acting was good. The fight scenes with the email we’re pretty cool.

The negatives are that the plat seems to not really go anywhere and when it did it was over really quick and a story somewhere to go on a different story. It was just OK. The female leads character was a bit annoying but I sure that’s how she is suppose to be. Last but not least it had one of the things that I really dislike in any show that I watch and that is the push and pull relationships. Do you know the one where one person is chasing another for over half of the series and the person behave indifferent. That one! And then the second half the other person is now the chaser while the other person pretends to be uninterested. It’s not awful but I honestly prefer smooth sailing ships. This one seem to never really take flight although there was some development.

This was surprisingly good. I’ve watched a few Japanese dramas and many of them had a soft spoken female that is naive or the overly domineering male but this was was completely different. It was short, sweet, realistic and so warm. I literally smiled when it ended, with the awwww.

Left at the alter or female lead holds her head up and keeps moving. Finding love years later who not only loves her but also is willing to make a small sacrifice to give her heart peace. This was so cute.

This is definitely a lighthearted romance with a little added comedy. It incorporates work, family and love and it felt great.

Surprisingly good

Good series. I’m not a big fan of mini series (I.e, less than 30 minutes) but this was actually really good. The acting, the scenery, cinematography and wardrobe were all excellent for such a short series.

Series definitely has some twist and turns which were executed well within the time. It revolves around a mystery affliction that affects people in a way that causes them to become violent. Before you run, it’s not to over the top. Most of the story revolves around relationships and finding the cure. Their action, some humor and swoon worthy moments. There was character growth that was portrayed so well in this series that I must commend the writer/directors. In series much longer, you may not see growth until the last episode but this didn’t drag.

It was short, sweet and worth the watch.

This series was the epitome me of a family drama. I must repeat, a family drama. The series revolves around a father who raised his children along with the help of his sister. These children are now adults and it explores their family dynamics. One of the things I found very interesting is that they talk about the care that was given to the children but it also exposes the lack of possible discipline. I will be honest I enjoyed the last half of the series because the first half was extremely disheartening and I found it hard to watch. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t awful but watching nearly 25 episodes of adult children being disrespectful, ungrateful and inconsiderate to the person who raised them was not an ideal drama for me. It most certainly winters off from the typical crazy in life but this portrayal of a family dynamic honestly was even worse than the rude, abusive and somewhat psychotic in law. It was terrible behavior.
I really enjoy the second half because reality of life began to sit in and there were definitely more positive that took place. What I like most about the series was that it displayed love in his various forms whether it be by supporting someone, loving someone, providing for them or merely encouraging them. It was portrayed well. And the acting of Yang Hee Kyung (the aunt) was top notch. I honestly cried while watching this star. Literally.
The series was good. It had some happy, infuriating and sad moments.
What I did not like about the series was that the reason for the level of disrespect from the oldest son was never explained or at least I never got a clear understanding of it. He was rude to such a degree that I don’t even know if I’ll be able to watch him in any other shows. He was just that shameful. His behavior was the worst and it was just overlooked. For me he wasn’t redeemed in this series. It was just blown away. In addition to that it was a little long and the amount of happy was very very minimal.

I rated it a rated it a seven because the series had an amazing lesson in it and the cast members did an amazing job with their acting. And I really mean they did an amazing job. The plot was really good and in truth it was somewhat relatable. I took off three stars simply because it seemed to lack clarity as to why or how the children became how they were. Someone showed up and disappeared without us knowing the truth to their claim, leaving mr wandering. I also felt it some of the logic was missing (although not too much).
Would I recommend it? Yes if you’re looking for a lengthy family drama.
Would I watch it again? Probably not it was a little too drawn out and at times uneventful.
What is it a romantic vibe to it? Some but not that much.
Did I get a warm and fuzzy watching it? I did not.
Was it a good ending? The ending was redeeming
Did I cry? Like a waterfall.
Were there crazy in-laws? Yep

Just so so

I was very excited to watch this series. And I started a with very little expectations or information about it however I hoped that it would be a good one because I enjoy historical pieces. Overall the series started out great. It was fun, interesting and upbeat. The beginning had a bit of an intrigue to it because you were able to see a little bit of both worlds and how each person lived. Even when the event happened that brought them together there was still a bit of excitement and humor.

What I liked:
The cast did an amazing job portraying royalty. The acting was wonderful. The wardrobes were perfect and the set/scenery always fit the mood. They loyalty/love that the ML had for his brother and wife was genuine and perfect. The ML remained unchanged in his role as smart, loyal and honest. It was nice to see this. The Female lead was just as loyal and even more determined while also maintaining her sense of honor. I loved it because you often see the opposite in these types. Music matched the mood and scenes which only added to the value.

What I didn’t like:
-There was plotting in nearly episode, so much so that it became unenjoyable. There was never a moment of peace or simple joy to enjoy, which made it feel like a stress session.
-The second FL was in to many places and doing to many things. Not sure how but it was overkill.
-There were so many moments that people acted on assumptions which demonstrates poor maturity, i.e, “my cat went missing near your house. It was you. You stole it” or “it’s your fault I’m miserable, if only you hadn’t came home early.” It’s things of this nature that frustrate me because in this time period assumptions often lead to death. This made most of them seem like greedy idiots.
-Chemistry between left the show and didn’t return.
-Extreme hatred/Revenge from what appears to be a one time event.
-The good guys appear to be the eternal underdogs. Although there were moments that were victorious, it appears that karma left the show with chemistry.

The show has its good points with makes it worth watching, however I would have enjoyed it a bit more if some of the characters had a shred of decency and the balance of power/upper hand didn’t feel so one sided. Also would have loved to see more interpersonal relationship dynamics.
It should be noted that karma was off set during filming.

This is not a romantic series. It’s a big time plotting historical drama that revolves around a couple that loves each other.

The overall plot is good. The concept of childhood friends/sweet hearts was good. It gave a different spin on it. I thought it was cute and at time very sweet.

The pacing of the series is good and there is always something going on. I enjoyed the backstory of the leads and how they meet again later in life. The circumstances that brought them together was funny.

The good news is that we have great parents in this series who also have a good sense of humor. Of course we have our villain (Jealous female) who just won’t give up and one who appears the second lead who arrives a little late to the scene. The FL and 2ML don’t have much screen time but their communication is warm but not enough to make you hopeful.

There were many sweet and touching moments

My favorite character is the male lead. He was sweet, funny, charming, loyal and loving. He did appear indifferent initially but that indifference disappeared once you understood him (less than an episode). The female lead was okay but her character was annoying. What annoyed me about her was that no matter how much attention, care and love she received from the male lead she seemed to still focus on herself. I often felt that she didn’t care about his feelings at all, which made her my least favorite character. Even though she helped him through something it just seemed emotionless.

Now for the sad truth

This is not a romantic series. So if you’re looking for something to warm up to and feel how warm and fuzzy inside I advise you to drop this now. If you have one of those people that called in love with a male lead that is super nice and loving and caring you will find it here but you will absolutely hate the female lead. I am not exaggerating. What are you will get here is a male lead who in all essence is perfect. I have yet to find any This is not a romantic series. I have yet to find any flaw in him. He is everything that most women want. He’s kind, supportive, encouraging, romantic, giving, loving, patient. Unfortunately we get a female lead who is self-centered and treats him like a villain 80% of the time. That’s why I said it’s not romantic. The female lead disregarded the male lead feeling 80% of the time in the series, even while he was being supportive and considerate of her. Any concern that he brought up machine disguise it as him not supporting her. It happened a lot. It happened so much that I seriously just wanted them to get a divorce. And I really don’t like the idea of people divorcing but this is beyond annoying. her character was just not likable.

On top of this within the series she often do you things that compromised her for two as a Y wife, although it was innocent. Any concerns expressed by her husband about the situation was 100% met with her getting angry at him for being concerned and his disregard for her work. That crapped out all pass and annoying even faster..

The female leads character development was lacking for at least 80% of the series. For a romantic comedy, I felt it lacking a bit. Character was back and forth.

Would I recommend it? No
Is it romantic? Nope
Is it comical? Yes, the second couple
Is it a rewatch? Not for me

Wow. This series is about a couple that encountered a hardship and the sacrifices/choices they made to deal with it. Sounds simple right? But no, it is so complex because of the nature of the decision. It will have you asking yourself what you would do in that situation. Seriously!! This series provoked so many conversations as well as poked at the reality that many face daily. Tearjerker on high. Anger and disgust on high. I have never disliked a villain so much as I did in this series. You will not regret watching this series. The acting and casting was perfect. Get the tissues ready.

Hard pass

This is suppose to be a sweet romance series but I couldn’t really like it so much. The female lead seeme to play so many games that I started to find her self centered. Of course we have access to her internal monologue but it didn’t help her character. I found her manipulative and arrogant. She would do things that would bother her partner and she turns it around and he ends up apologizing to her even thought she should be apologizing. The second encounter was terrible as well. She was rude and snobbish to get rid of him. Even the 2FL character was annoying.

Sorry, I don’t find the character’s behavior cute, innocent or funny, just arrogant, judgemental and more. I’ll admit, she got better but the games killed it for me.

This series got such a high rating that I figured it has to be good but I will honestly say that this is the most complicated, weirdest creepiest series that I have watched in a long time. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t extremely scary or creepy it was just not cool. First I cannot begin to explain what in the world was going on in the beginning, middle and part of the end. Near the end of the series was when somebodysomeone explained what 2as going on. that was just really too late in this series to explain to the viewers what was happening. The entire series was flip-flopping back-and-forth between past and present. I have no idea what was going on in episode one. I honestly just thought it was like a depressed person that was missing their love ones or something like that but it was way more complicated. I did not find the series romantic, heartfelt or thought-provoking. I honestly felt it was kind of dark. It is just a real no for me. The acting was great and that’s the only positive that I personally can give. I may just be a simple person but it was just to confusing and gloomy.
