A bit bubbly and cute at times. No supremely crazy people made this a plus but we did have a clingy female that remained clingy to the very end. It was sweet but if you like romantic comedies this one strays a bit. Our two leads were people in their late 20’s to 30’s that often acted like teens. Our female lead was a bit immature and at times I couldn’t tell if she was going left or right. I’m assuming she was suppose to be strong but she appeared middle school aged and indecisive. Not a win for me. The ending was okay.

Episode 1 was lively, funny ? and engaging. My first feeling about this series after watching episodes one through 10 were “awwww how cute” and “ouuuu this is going to be good.” The series starts out at a very fair pace and somewhat picks up along the way. I know that this series has been described as a romantic comedy and I do get the feeling that there are some comical elements to this and definitely lots of little cute scenes but I will also say that there is some depth to this which is very rare for romantic comedies. What I mean by that is that this seriesseries managed to give you a good laugh and make you smile but at the same time it also manages to invoke various emotions in you. Some of the characters can easily be seen as ourselves in our every day lives whether it’s love, family, work or friendship. This series seems to embody work life, family drama, comedy and internal things. I am truly surprised. I am also a bit sad because I chose to start watching before it’s fully completed and I was in a waiting mode.

Ep 10-16Welp, it’s over and it was enjoyable. I enjoyed that it wasn’t too complex however I honestly felt like it was missing something. After the mid series build up with the dun dun duuun moment there was never a really big comeback moment, it sort of just happened. You the way the villain wins and the good guy starts plotting and you get excited. I got excited but it was like annh. The ending while not horrible just seemed to be missing some spice.

Skip

Update, it’s finished: if I could get back my time. If there was an option to request it, I would. We dealt with foolishness up to the end and then they glossed it offer with a wedding we never saw and a hug. Most ungratifying family series I have watched and I have watched a lot. Not one redemptive thing.

Up to half the series (61 episodes) and this has to be one of the worst family/ daily dramas I’ve watched and I have watched a lot.
For starters, for 61 episodes, nothing has actual happened. You can honestly watch the first 10 episodes and then episode 61 and you wouldn’t have missed anything significant.

The FL appears simple, easily lead and without feelings. She maintains the same smile and deer in the headlight look for 61 episodes. Overlooking things.

The supposed ML is a good guy, with a need to sacrifice. He also smiles through everything, constantly ask his dad to “just stop” when he attempts to voice an opinion. He is in every essence a self sacrificing man. He lives with his in-laws for over 10 years even after his wife ran off. It wouldn’t be so bad if he was trying to move forward but he’s clearly delusional serving and struggling with his in-laws.

Overall there are really no likeable characters, not even the leads. I can’t recommend this as of right now. No character growth, development or reveals so far. Just the same old thing.

Update************

Up to 117 and it’s only gotten worse. I feel like they tried to hard to keep it interesting. Instead we got crazy, more irrational people and view disappointment.
If you’re bored, watch it. If you’re looking for something good and entertaining keep moving. After all these episodes there is not 1 likeable character, not even the leads.

Flop

Based on the ratings I was expecting a spectacular show although a few of the reviews were not that great. First of all I love the female lead in most of the shows that she is in. She is an amazing actress. The second male lead is a great actor as well, well I can’t remember any particular shows that I’ve seen a man I’ve seen him in quite a few and I still think he’s great. Overall the acting for this series was good. I think the plot was good. There were definitely a few funny moments in here and a significant amount of heartfelt moments that will really tug at your heart strings. While I enjoy the acting and the cast, I honestly feel like the show was lacking.

I love the fact that they touched on the infertility topics for men. Most of the time you see the focus on women but this one brought awareness to infertility in men and how it impacts their lives in relationships. I felt that that was just an amazing portrayal of the emotions that men go through. Although the focus is usually on women this one seem to bring attention to how it affects both in their present and how they plan for the future. What I did not like about this series was that by episode five I can already tail who are female lead would end up with and at that point it was just blah. I know that some believe that actually did an amazing chemistry but I just didn’t feel it. I don’t know if it was the lack of character development, editing or the lack of chemistry. It just didn’t seem fulfilling at all. In truth after episode five I found myself skipping so many scenes. I did develop a keen interest in our second male lead because he seem to have a more connection with the female lead.

Is the show awful, no.
Is it Romantic, not really
is it funny, yeah a bit
Would I rewatch, no

It really was a stimulating enough to make you find any one character other than supporting me leave with the kids. But of course because he’s a second mail lady we all know how that how that ended.

My hopes weren’t high but they were definitely higher than this.

The series was surprisingly good. It was very unique in the sense that I have not seen anything like it. It’s very rare to see K dramas they integrate tribes and secular world into a traditional show. It was very unique indeed. I can honestly say that I got a lot of laughs while watching this. It was sweet and had a few touching moments to it. There was definitely a lot of fight scenes that were really great.
What I like most about this series was that the female lead was strong and smart, although she was somewhat clueless at times she still prove herself to be quite clever and no pushover.
What I did not like about it was that after the 28th episode got a bit draggy. I suppose it could’ve been wrapped up rather nicely with 20 episodes instead of 30.
The ending was good but I get in my feelings when they turn a bad guy good in the final moment. Other than that it’s great. I recommend this if you’re looking for something sweet, funny and action filled.

The series was not awful but I got to tell you, I have no idea how many times I rolled my eyes while watching this. It was the typical cliché Japanese drama. Naïve female falls in love with a guy. Guy is outwardly indifferent but our naive person is persistent even went neglected, insulted and etc . What disturbed me most about this series is that it seem to glorify the naivety of the female lead. She was clearly talented but also very naïve. I mean that in the nicest of ways. I am noticing that this is a pattern for many Japanese drama. The female lead is very naïve and often follows around or chases behind someone that blatantly disrespect them. Even though there was a reason for it, I found it kind of disturbing that after so many things took place, her feelings were consistent. I can’t recommend this one. I don’t like you, I hate you, leave me alone, I love you.

Series revolves around a female lead who experiences a situation and grief. She returns home after a long time overseas and tries to pick her life up over again. The series would have been better if it made more sense. The acting was absolutely amazing. The cast fit their roles perfectly and the scenery was fitting for this show however I have never rolled my eyes as much as I did while watching this show. The reason for this is I am absolutely annoyed by these sacrificial females and this long lost love cliché. I absolutely do not know of any person who broke up with someone and waited for them for seven years and not moved on. This is a pattern that I have noticed with a lot of these K dramas. you have a boyfriend or girlfriend that you loved and you never fall in love again until you meet them 10 to 15 years later. It’s absolutely unrealistic and although I know this is TV drama I wish that they would make it somewhat more realistic. This is a fair warning you will be annoyed with the amount of drama between the two leads. And I don’t mean crazy drama I mean extreme mellow drama where someone’s always crying or heart broken or sad. It’s frustrating because they create their own drama, and sadness with the choices they make and then they’re sad which is almost like they have no common sense. Male lead did things without being clear or communicating with the female lead and expected her to understand and love him anyway even though the things he did would cause the average female to distance themselves or not even communicate with them. But the writers completely disregarded the males ridiculous and sometimes rude behavior and gave an exception to it because of his love. Sadly love this not look like that so it made no sense to me. They gave no explanation as to how the female lead ended up overseas or how things really took place unti it was nearly done. I do not recommend this for any hopeless romantic‘s or any romantic comedy viewers at all .
This is not a sweet romance. This is not a romantic drama. This is a bucket of self inflicted grief and ridiculous reasoning. If you’re into that sad type of love you may enjoy this but I most certainly did not.

I screamed so many times watching this series. Loved the plot. Look a like takes place of king. What happens when the fake is better than the authentic and it shows? The show was absolutely amazing. It was funny, up beat, heartfelt and at times intense. I feel a bit wicked because I celebrated one of the villains demise with one of those joyous screams but who cares it was so rewarding for me as a viewer to see such karma. I waited until it was completely subbed to watch it and I’m so glad I did. I will say that the crowned clown was anything but a clown. The loyalty, pureness, and determination for righteousness was on an epic scale. This male lead officially has a new fan. When I say his acting was on point, I mean it was on???????? point ????????. Playing to roles too ????. The entire cast was awesome. Ending was pleasing, can’t complain too much but I was hoping something just as grand as the series itself. Still quite please though. I got my closure. On to the next.

This was a very sweet, realistic and unique series. What I enjoy most about this series is that it was not cliché in any sense, the relationship that was developed was realist and genuine. There were no supremely crazy ex-girlfriend’s or relatives. There was no ridiculous triangle. It was simply Sweet. Of course we have the arrogant male in the beginning but that behavior didn’t last longer than an episode. It was quickly turned into something more sweet and real. I loved the female lead. She was determined, hard working, honest and loyal. The chemistry between the leads was great. The ending was great. The family relationship was great. So glad the writers didn’t mess this up with stupid complications. Loved it.

Plot is nothing new. Different cast same fashion drama. I was so hopeful, but this feels like another “our glamorous time.” It does have a more youthful vibe to it but still a bit slow. Episode 1 was catchy and gave hope but then ahnnn. I don’t do rolller coasters and this definitely feels like one.

Ep 1-13 male chases female
Ep 14-15 finally a relationship
Ep 16- the breakup
Ep 17 and, the pursuit begins again.

That type of roller coaster.

Overall it’s okay. I like the leads and have seen many of their works. They are great. Scenery is good, acting is good, fashion sense is good.

Down side: I hate the cat and mouse game and I’ve seen at lease 2 other series that have wealthy guy meEts up and coming fashion designer.

I am a fan of the female leave as well as the male lead but I really didn’t feel a great chemistry here. Another thing is they have a female lead as an emotionally incompetent character. You know the type, the type that does things that affect other people and she is not aware of the consequences of her actions or how her actions have hurt or hindered anyone. She is unaware of the sacrifices that are being made for her and the things that are love one is doing for her. This goes on until someone tells her. I hate the fact that this went on and see did Nite no. The reality is any person could realize the time, love and sacrifices people made for them but this female with oblivious which made her character annoying. Most of the time you somewhat hope they both end up with someone else.

There are a few things that are quite hilarious but that just does not make up for the poor chemistry and the insensitive or ignorant female lead. who works for a person they constantly Platz against your boyfriend. It’s ridiculous.

I was truly not prepared for my eyes to be watering as much as they were while watching this series. I binge watch the series because at the end of each episode I was just couldn’t wait to see what would happened next. It was just that good.
The series revolves around the “fated” one night stand and as a result of that we all know what happens.. The interesting thing about this series is how it’s different from all the other series of the same genre or caliber I.e, oops here comes a baby. They didn’t drag the series out. There were no lengthy fights and most importantly no psycho ex. It covers the relationships of the 2 leads and how they attempt live with and/or solve the situations they encounter. I will admit that there was not a significant amount of romance in this series however the emotions, the acting, the conflict, the pain and realizations were astounding. These actors were amazing. A must watch. But be sure to get the Kleenex.

Simply amazing. A foreigner enters a different land but still manages to stay true. I absolutely love the actors in this film. They’re chemistry was amazing. The two main leads were entertaining as well as lovable. I enjoyed watching it. It was the opitomy of a romance series. Not too over the top. It was really sweet, not your typical cheesy romance but a true development of something pure. I recommend this seems to anyone who is looking for a heartfelt, romantic series to watch. It has action, politics, that one crazy relative as well as the one on realistic relative relative. I finish this series in one day because it was just that good

If your looking for a cute romance, this is not it. Main leads share little scream time. More screen time is giving to second lead. I can’t complain, the second leads interaction was so much for entertaining to watch. Boy meets girl, boy hates girl then boy likes girl. Not sure how it happened but it still wasn’t interesting.

This series is pretty upbeat. It is also light and funny. There is something interesting happening every episode so you really won’t get bored. There are antics, plots and humor left and right and then a tug of emotion. Sadly I have developed a severe case of second lead syndrome and I’m having a hard time enjoying the show because of what I believe will most like happen. I have no idea what the writers were thinking. They gave me so much screen time to the second lead that you feel that he is the main lead. The level of interaction and communication between the second male lead and the main female lead is so funny and entertaining to watch that you will absolutely have a hard time disliking him even though he schemes. They gave the second male lead a character who is not only smart and humorous but also a good fighter but also with a hidden tender side. Then there’s the real male lead who was originally portrayed as a uncaring cold individual but also as masked caring person. Nothing about his behaviors made sense to me.
Friendly warning: Don’t get to attached male leads, the outcome can only go one way.
The female lead does a great job and her acting appears so natural that I’m quite certain it’s her true personality.

The character relationships between the main lead seemed excessively rushed and unnatural based on screen time as well as the era. If you watch you’ll see what I mean. For her character to have such morals she umm.... without thought to era or customs/traditions. That to me was weird.

Oh yeah, not sure if there was a true plot. After 30 eps I officially stated rushing through stupid convos of non main leads.

I will warn you that you’ll get a bad case of the second lead syndrome. Our second lead appears to get more screen time than the supposed lead and its interesting that his chemistry is better than the lead as well. Although he has a side that is a bit wicked, the banter between them is amazing.

Short and sweet. 5 episodes, average 11-15min each episode. Short series about getting back out here after experiencing a heartbreak. No depth due to the shortness but I’m certain if it were a little longer it would have been much better. No crazy ex, in-laws or extreme drama.

Don’t expect an average episode, chemistry or romance. Just think you’ll watch a collection of related tales summed up within 1hour. Again it was short and sweet and had a sweet ending.

Okay

This was a very entertaining series. You get a mix of romance, humor, action, drama and mystery. The cast all did an amazing job. I love the communication and the chemistry between the two main lease of the series. They really did manage to pull off their annoyance with each other as well as build a smooth relationship that exhibit an amazing chemistry.
The series revolves around so many people. It’s hard to say that its simply about the two main leads because it involves their families and their friendships. Everything ties into the plot.
What I like most about the series was that the relationship between the male and female lead was unique, funny and also very sweet. I absolutely love the male lead in this series. I have never seen him in any other series but I absolutely love how his character was portrayed as a dedicated, hard-working, loving and free spirit. He was absolutely the person that many underestimate. Our male lead was a man that was rich and traveled the world but still has an amazing sense of loyalty and honesty.
Our female lead was great as well. She was individual with a back bone who was also very smart. I for one am glad that we were able to see a female lead who not only had common sense but would not allow herself to be bullied or belittled by anyone. It was refreshing.
Our supporting cast was just as amazing. I loved our second male lead. He was by far the best character in the series for me because of his personality.

What I did not like about the series was that it was too many episodes of misunderstandings. To elaborate if you receive a receive information from someone that could affect your future, one should not simply take the word and run with it. I’m really not a fan of watching shows that have misunderstandings that drag on for so long. For me as a viewer, it was annoying but it did not diminish the acting of the cast. I’m just one that hates prolong misunderstandings.

.The other thing that I was not happy about was that the series was 63 episodes. For me that is extremely long for a drama of this caliber. You normally see this number with those family dramas but this one was more than family it was business and romance and manipulations so it was a bit longer than I like. That being said it really could’ve end it much sooner, But I can only assume that the writers felt the need to drag it out and threw in a plot twist that frustrated me and then cleared it up at the last two episodes.
I really didn’t get the ending that I wanted, although it wasn’t awful it just seemed to be ungratifying. After 63 episodes you really want a grand ending because you committed so much to it and you really deserve it but I found myself cheated.

If you’re into family/business/romance/treachery type series you may like this one. Also if you are in the mood to start a series that is pretty long. If you’re looking for a smooth sailing romance, this is not it..
