City of Stars stands out in so many ways
This show is a gift. No toxic relation, no pull and push relation. But two working adults who are honest about their feelings and resolve any problem quickly by just talking. No shouting, no arguments. It is so refreshing! The way how the toxic fans are called out, the homophobia in society, the way we use social media, often to harm people.
This is a smart script. I applaud all the people who came up with this idea and that Starhunter said, let's do this!
Loved it!

Soju Bomb is a entertaining show about idol trainees. Great storytelling.
Let me begin with the obvious, this show has been categorised as aBL show. But it is anything but a BL show. I am currently in a 7 months ongoing BL content binge. I already watched Close friend season 1. And dropped season 2 somewhere.
But was lured in episode 3 after just one episode. And i don't regret this at all.
This show deserves more praise. The rating is ridiculous low.
The actors were very good, the story was good, funny and heartwarming. The camerawork, the Thai actors that also really could speak Korean. The storyline about the strict rules for trainees hoping to become a idol.
I was looking forward to each episode, i always viewed the intro, cause it where lovely visuals of the main actors with a great song, That i now just looked up, it is Highlight from B-rock and i have put it in my Spotify list.
This show has to be marketed as something else than a BL. We can look for instance at I will be your bloom from Japan, allso a series about a boyband, struggling to get a debut. With a bisexual character in it. The characters are not one dimensional.
Because this Soju bomb show is very good, great storytelling. and entertaining, but don't let people get fooled by thinking they are going to see a BL show.
It is really good drama with a happy end.

It was worth waiting for.
I was glad that this show is on air now.The storyline is out of the box, not the 13 in a dozen.
Our male leads are terrific. That barscene, as if there were no other people then them.
And the enemy to lovers, that will be exciting.
What I also like is that they are not covered in a thick layer of make up, what I see in so many other Thai BL series, where caramel skin turns to white and are unnatural flawless.
No, they leave Yin and War natural, which is very good, cause they are handsome allready.
Impressed with Yin's taekwondo skills, I don't know if that is his hobby or that he had to practise hard for this role.
War, he looked so adorable in disguise, with the fringe, the braces and the glasses.
I think that these roles in this series is better than Love Mechanics.
