The chemistry is UNDENIABLE
It's all worth it because of Rowoon and Jo Bo-ah. They were amazing, a joy to the eyes both charming and beautiful made the story work even if the story itself was weaker in comparison.Acting/Cast:
It's all about the amazing Rowoon and Jo Bo-ah. The end.
Music:
Great music >>>>>>> Park Won (박원) - It's You <<<<<<<<<<3
Story:
Could have been better. I dont like stalker concepts but the back story taking as through the protagonists' past life together was amazing. Never seen beaten up people look more beautiful on screen (joke) <3 No one liked the female lead's coworkers lets be honest. And why did she have to live in that neighborhood? And what is up with the psychic grandmotheer is she for them of against them. Also no reason to base have a love story on a love spell actually ended up making the audiance confused about the male lead's true feelings. Bad script indeed.
Rewatch Value: Yes. For the chemistry between Rowoon and Jo Bo-ah!
Over and out <3

Too much drama in a drama
Was this supposed to be all about actors crying? I should have paid more attention to the title cause the sobbing was sooooo unnecessary omg please stop making Kim Soo Hyun cry for the love of all that is dear! There is something truly twisted going on in the directors heads because plot and script were all over the place no moderation whatsoever! The ML started out as a man who does not care if his wife died (is a human so unfeeling they wouldn't care if a person close to them died?) and then did a 360 spin in his personality and became the perfect loving husband? Right I get it.
And why all the misery???? There is a thing called balance and some people prefer to just add everything incoherently in a script leaving the viewer perplexed and tired. I feel tired.
AND NO KISS IN THE LAST EPISODE? WHY? WHERE IS THE ATMOSPHERE? Oh I know where perhaps it was lost somewhere between the tombstones...
Kim Soo Hyun tried really tried but the script and direction did not allow for much. He is -no matter how infinitely unrealistic- the perfect husband and we swoon. (He is the reason I give this an overall 6,5 the solid production cause we did see some pretty outfits and nice scenery).
Park Sung Hoon's role was wronged by the script because they simply portrayed him as evil when he was just desperate for affection. He was as always great.
Kwak Dong Yeon + Lee Joo Bin were PHENOMENAL as a side couple, like I would love to see them somewhere together again amazing work, loved their scenes!
Also loved the scened where the two families got together so I guess the side moments were entertaining. Ah so tired.

The title should actually be "Kim Sejeong for President"
I am kidding. Or am I? I am, let's be honest it was a good romantic comedy. I laughed and I was moved and I have already rewatched it. It's a show that leaves you with a warm feeling at heart. Those of you searching for a smooth, happy and relaxing series should definitely watch this. It's a safe bet. Now if you want to dig deeper into it and in more detail read on.
Story:
Could have been better in the sense that I did not like how it at times diverged from the main couple Kang Tae-moo and Shin Ha-ri, to the side couple, Cha Sung-hoon and Jin Young-seo. Pick a story, and tell it well. Also I feel like the main characters' best friends were annoying at times in their perceptions of the main couple's relationship. Get a life. Actually get a seperate series for them if you must. They had great chemistry but it was really unnecessary for the main plot. The right way to integrate a second couple in the main story is how it was done with Gye-bin and Yeo Eui-ju. That relationship was fun and played a significant role in making social activities in the series more enjoyable. It also added to the comedy aspect. On the other hand Shin Ha-ri and Jin Young-seo had a beautiful friendship, that we keep. Their moments were soooooo cute. And last but not least they should have added a few more episodes because the bridge between episode 11 and 12 is weak. We needed a few more cute happy romantic moments after the 1 year trip.
Acting/Cast:
In my opinion there was a slight casting imbalance between the two lead performers, Kim Se Jeong and Ahn Hyo-seop. Kim Se Jeong comes off as more experienced in acting. I felt at times that she "saved" the scenes with her charm. She is exceptionally versatile and floats smoothly from comedy, to romance and drama. There really isn't much to say. She did a great job in her role.
Ahn Hyo-seop was good but has a long way to go before becoming trully confident in his performance. He lacked a sense of fluidity, as if there were glitches in the rom-com Matrix, especially in intimate moments with his co-star. However he is extremely promising and I hope to see more of him in the future. He has a beautiful, kind and respectful presence/quality.
Exemplary Performances by: Kim Hyun-sook, Lim Ki-hong, Seo Hye-won.
Remember to always give credit were credit is due, especially when it comes to supporting actresses and actors. They bring any show together and build a wholesome atmosphere.
Music:
Nice music themes were added in funny moments but overall better songs should have been picked especially for the romantic scenes.
That's it people, over and out. <3

Were people paid to promote this?
There is no story really to be honest. A grandpa who doesn't look like it falls for a high school girl but Twilight did it better. Perhaps because Pattinson. The casting here was questionable to say the least (apart from the side characters). Episode 1+2 were actually pretty good but then...boredom.1. There is no chemistry between the leads (FULL STOP). Not to mention the cringy interaction between the overly childish behavior from the FL and the overly fatherly and awkward male lead. The age gap would not have been a problem had there been better acting involved. Actually the FL's approach to her character reminded me of the FL from When I Fly Towards You, only there the chemistry between the leads was 200% solid and the FL's acting spot on. Why this casting here? Did the director order this approach? Just awkward.
2. The bromance works, the side characters and their stories actually succeed in being more interesting than the main story.
3. I am angry because series that deserve first place got overshadowed on dramalist by this mediocre work. And it's not the works fault, they did their best, it's the reviewers fault who are not even trying to be more objective.
