Does it Lack Anything????? Definitely No!!!!

I just came across this drama through an edit on YouTube. That edit itself made me watch the whole drama. Well, now you can imagine how much impact this drama had on me. Every minute and every second of this drama kept on delivering. Kudos to the Team and the actors for creating such a wonderful Masterpiece.

STORY + ACTING + VISUAL EFFECTS + EFFORTLESSLY FUNNY + SUSPENSE = "I am Nobody"

[What more do you want???]

The story is definitely one the unique stories I have ever seen. Especially from the first episode to the last episode it just maintained the pace. Not a single moment where I felt bored and not a single scene where I wanted to skip it or fast forward it. Mostly these days I have been skipping few scenes if the drama gets boring, but this is not that kind of drama. It helped me understand how much I can enjoy even while watching a drama!!!

Oh what do I say about the acting, I can sense(I am manifesting) that the actors in this drama are going to get really famous and receive more projects from now on. Special mention to Wang Ying Lu(Bao Bao) and Peng Yu Chang(Chu Lan) for their amazing performance during the entire show. Especially Wang Ying Lu, she is so funny and fierce at the same time.

Now comes the main part, MARTIAL ARTS and VISUAL EFFECTS are the heart of the drama. They did not compromise on anything!! Maybe there is no science in the story but who cares when it is not boring and makes you wonder what is going to happen next and gives you goosebumps in few scenes. Maybe I am over hyping it........but this drama deserves all the attention & appreciation.

Also, this drama focuses on each and every detail of the martial art or the superpower they posses, just like explaining it to people like us, who doesn't have any knowledge about those. This is what makes you more interested in the drama. You may not understand few terms at first but while the episodes keep progressing you will understand everything.

I really liked how they explain the evil outsiders get punished, even though they do not show how they get punished, that explanation itself is quite content enough. This drama also tries to make you laugh even though the situation is filled with suspense and fierceness. And the whole credit goes to Zhang Chu Lan and Feng Bao Bao along with the production team. It is really not so easy to pull out a funny scene when the whole scenario is supposed to be a part of the main part of the story. Double thumps up to them for not making it awkward and making us be at ease and enjoy even the most serious parts of the story.

This is one of the dramas where I watched it for the unique story(one of it is "Forbidden Flower"), generally I watch dramas with my favourite actors or just because the trailer is good. Prior to watching the drama I don't really know any of the cast except for Neo Hu & Bi Wen Jun. I am utterly surprised why this is not getting all the hype it required(or maybe the hype is not enough).

If only they showed who Zhang Chulan's father is and what happened to them along with Feng Baobao's father and the origin of baobao's parents, I would feel that this season would be complete by itself. I hope these minute details will be revealed in season 2. Which is also the reason why I gave it a 9.5 other than this the drama is a 10 for me.

Well, maybe I can guess that this is not everyone's cup of tea but irrespective of the genre you like everyone must and should watch this drama. C-dramas are definitely delivering this 2023. Can't wait to watch more stories like this. So, I suggest everyone to go watch this!!

My suggestion to the people binge watching it is - just keep watching the drama, you might or might not understand it at first, but you will understand everything when you are halfway through it.

One last thing I would want to say is "There is romance but there is no romance". Figure it out after you watch the drama LOL.

PS - Just Two Words........."Speechlessly Amazing"!!!!! Just give this drama a fair chance :)

Is there A REASON not TO WATCH IT????

First of all, talking about the story of this drama, it is nothing special, you might have already come across this kind of story trope - but what makes it so special is - we all know it is Lin Pei Yu's novel based drama. Her writings may not be unique(my opinion....no offense LOL) but the way she portrays the story makes it more interesting and gives you a feeling that this is the first time that you have come across something like this. Aslo, the character development.......oh! tell me about it......I can talk about it the whole day hahahaha. Each and every character is given its own importance. She defines every character to be so adorable.

So yeah, If you like Lin Pei Yu's previous works(We Best Love 1 & 2, My Tooth Your Love, Few of HIStory series) then have no second thoughts, watch it you will definitely love it!!!

Now, coming to the acting. I feel that the actors have done a good job but I felt like they can do even better. According to me, the actor who portrayed Ai Di's character slayed it!!! He stood out the most because his character is the most mature character I have come across even though he was just 18. OMG!! he understands when to make a move and when to not....so mature.

Also, at one point of time I thought the story is not progressing at all but at another point of time I felt that the story is just going fast paced. Yeah! The stability and the balance in the flow of the episodes is not well maintained(acc to me). If you are binge watching it you might not feel this way tho. But I have no complaints nevertheless.

I felt that the leads(main leads and the second leads) have great chemistry and the team tried their best to portray it. But my only concern is that the chemistry could have much more better. Still a big kudos to the team and actors for giving us this enjoyable show.

You can just understand the gist of the story if you watch the trailer. Maybe not the entire story but you can know the genre and the elements like what you can expect from this drama. Even if you think few elements are not your type like the Memory Loss stuff or the Time Skip stuff, I still suggest you watch this drama because this drama is more that what you think it is...So Give it a shot!!

PS - Have no Second Thoughts. It is worth your time. Go WATCH It!!!!

8+ rating..............THE UPs and DOWNs..............is this drama really worth the hype???

Lately, I’ve been in a bit of a K-drama slump—not due to a lack of good dramas, but because I haven’t managed to finish any in the past few months. Maybe it’s because I haven’t had enough free time or maybe I just wasn’t in the mood. However, this new drama has completely captivated me right from the very first episode.

The PLOT might seem familiar at first glance, drawing comparisons to "Welcome to Sam-dalri" and "Dr Slump," and while I can see where those comments are coming from, there’s something about this drama that makes it stand out. Sure, the childhood friends-to-lovers trope can get a bit predictable, but the unique way this show handles it........has hooked me.

The ACTING in this drama is top-notch, which definitely contributes to its appeal. I also appreciate that some of the backstory is revealed early on rather than being dragged out until midway or the end. This approach keeps the suspense high and my interest piqued as I looked forward to each new episode. But that feeling didn't last long. I really felt the FL's break from work backstory a little too common and the writers could have done it in a much better way. As it was a great start for this drama I started to have high expectations regarding this. So, I was a bit let down because of this I would say.

One of the things I really loved in this drama is the siblings relationship which was portrayed in a domestic way, the friendship portrayed in this drama is really top notch and kudos to the characters for portraying it so well. I felt that the Leads fathers duo is a little bit cringe. But the character I really liked the best is the reporter's character. His acting and his visuals hyped his character even more.

Now coming to the COUPLES, I really wish this kind of Hyerung Dong(The area where they live) with all these characters really existed and I wish I could visit that place and go to ATLEINER(ML's company) to have a cup of coffee hahaha. This is the kind of feeling I got while I watched this drama. And the couples that stood out were ML's PARENTS and Mo-Eum x Dan-Ho. I really liked these couples even more than the main couple. Their story is very emotional and it was so heart-touching.

One more concern of mine is the episode length—each one runs over an hour. So I had to watch this drama in a 2x speed because I have very little patience and am eager to know how the episode would end. And because of this I might have missed few of the emotional scenes but I enjoyed it this way LOL

--> IF you feel like this drama is a bit lengthy THEN try watching with 2x speed.
--> IF you feel that this drama is similar to some to other drama THEN try to watch the episode and then decide to watch the rest of the episodes or not.
--> IF you are in a confusion whether to watch it or not THEN do watch it because it gives you a fresh atmosphere.
--> IF you feel like you've watched enough spoilers and you've understood the entire story THEN you are definitely wrong cause this drama offers more than what it seems to be.

PS: If you’re a fan of the actors or find the synopsis intriguing, or if you’re open to giving it a shot, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND checking it out!

Maybe Needs Improvement?????

First of all, Ah....The Visuals...I'm Screaming!!!

I binge watched the entire series. So I would like to disagree with the people who said in the comments that stated there is no development in the relationship between the leads. According to me, the relationship already started developing when "Jun & Jun"(how funny) first met. Maybe they watched it episode by episode which felt like eternity to few people but to me the relationship development went exactly how it is supposed to be.

And again the story is nothing new, just childhood sweethearts becoming a couple but what made it unique is the cameos (Mr. Heart couple and Yim and Tutor), idol to company worker plot and three people aiming(liking) at Lee Jun LOL. Coming to the acting Choi Jun(the actor) definitely delivered what needs to be and also he is sooo handsome, and Lee Jun(the actor) tried his best to act cute when required but fierce character(towards Choi jun) is what made his acting stand out. And the supporting actors also did a good(may be not great) job. Kudos to them. Also, the leads have great chemistry, although it is only shown at the last episodes - definitely worth waiting.....hehehehe :)

But the reason I gave it an 8 instead of 9 or 9.5 is that the story can be a lot more improvised. Also, I felt like few scenes were forcefully made short or few scenes were rather incomplete. Also, the ending scene did not feel like an ending scene at all. But the climax scene is one the greatest climax scenes I've ever watched.

So, watch it for the visuals, watch it for the cameos, watch it for the effort the team has put into, watch it for the great chemistry b/w the leads. Whatever the reason is...Go Watch it!!...A definite one time watch.

P.S. - Not time consuming, Short and sweet, yeah few flaws, but worth the time!!!

A Fresh and Unique Story for a C-drama

The story might seem a bit common but the portrayal of the story, the acting and the drama setting took it to a different level. This story might not be for everyone and it kind of seems mature(not 18+ though..LOL) not like a typical c-drama we always watch.

The first episode itself got me hooked and of course there are few aspects in the drama that are cliche and Female Lead's mother character kind of lacked reality, to me it felt like an irritating or baseless(logic less) character. Also, kudos to the FL who I think gave it her all for the character and I kind of felt like all the actors fit their characters really well except for the Female Lead's mother character.

I never expected a C-drama to be this open and mature or I might not have come across other dramas like this one...But yeah, if you prefer a strong emotion with great acting that gives you fresh vibes for a rom-com....Well, this is it.

Go watch it!!! You will not regret it :)

Everyone should pay close attention to this drama......why only 9 stars though???

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CAUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please note that if you start watching this drama you are going to get ADDICTED to this series no matter what....

If you’re expecting this drama to be just another "Addicted" or "Stay With Me," you’re in for a surprise. While it might share some similarities with "Addicted," it stands out with its unique approach. Trust me, just the first two episodes will show you why this series is different.

The STORY line might seem predictable—clearly we all know how the leads end up together and what issues they will face with their family and how they overcome those challenges..........Yet, despite knowing all these things, I found myself eagerly anticipating every twist and turn after all this while.

The production quality and ACTING are commendable, though I find Sheng Wang's portrayal occasionally a bit too childish which is contradicting his character in the novel(even though I read only 21 chapters of the novel), which might be a hit or miss for some. However, I firmly believe that this drama lives up to the high standards that we all have for Taiwanese dramas. So a big kudos to the Team and the actors.

The reason I gave this only a 9 because, yeah one thing is I wanted Sheng Wang's character not to be too childish.......so there goes the 0.5 and another 0.5 is I felt that the chemistry between the leads is a bit less intense compared to the novel. I am not telling that the leads do not have chemistry but in few scenes I feel that the tension and the emotion is missing.

I’m confident that this drama will defy any initial impressions you might have. And one thing that people are mostly concerned about is the slow burn......at few instances I also felt the same but yeah I hope this concern will not be a concern after the release of season 2 hahaha.

PS: NOT THE END............just the Beginning.......eagerly anticipate for a season 2

"First Impression is the Best Impression" - Proven False By Love Class 2

I agree with the people(in the comments) who stated that the first two episodes did not leave a good impression, also those two episodes are a bit confusing and make me lose interest in the drama. Hopefully I gave it a chance and I do not regret it. I don't know about others but I really really enjoyed it.

I am not saying that it is completely flawless, that it is perfectly perfect. But I can just say that it is cute, lots of couples(literally not just 3...If you watch the drama you might just understand hehehe), a tiny little bit of mystery which I felt could have handled more wisely and mature. But kudos to the director, team and the leads the drama came out so well.

Talking about the characters and the actors, Lee Kwang Hee(Maru) is such a great actor.I fell in love with his character when he confides the cafe manager for minwoo...so cute and funny.I felt that nobody could have pulled that scene except for Lee Kwang Hee. I am already looking forward to his future projects. Also the dating class teacher is such a lovely person, I really liked her acting also her smile is so beautiful. The whole Kim An and Lee Hyun relationship felt so off for me, but the other two couples(maru x minwoo and joohyuk x sungmin) made it up for me. Also special mention to Sara(I don't this actress name) she nailed it and she is so beautiful.

I felt episode 10 is a bit draggy and totally irrelevant to the story and unnecessary as if they are forcing it to be the climax of the story. Other than that everything is great!!

Also, I did not watch the first season but the cameos of the first season's leads made this a season 2 for Love Class hahaha. So, no need to watch the first season, You will enjoy it for the story itself like I did.

P.S. - Great Support actors (especially Sara and dating class Teacher), Great Visuals, Good chemistry, Many couples, Short and sweet, Worth the Time.....So o watch it!!!

The reason you should watch this.....

According to me this drama has everything that you look for in a drama. After reading the synopsis of the drama in MDL and you feel like you understood the story, then you are mistaken. I wanna complain about the way where only few people have watched this drama until now. It is such an underrated drama.

The story, especially the way the games were designed, is the highlight of this drama. Every game they play is so interesting and dreadful. I love the screenplay and the writing. Kudos to the author, the screenwriter, the director and the actors for making this drama happen.

Coming to the acting, everybody have done a phenomenal job. Kudos to them. Yeah, like I said there is everything in this drama friendship, fear, happiness, love, jealousy, romance, subtle comedy. I don't know how others felt regarding Xiao Kai Zhong's(Qiang Ge's) acting, but to me he is the entertainer in the entire show. According to me he is a comedian(this is the highest praise I give to someone) in this drama.

Yeah, I do some complaints other than this show not being recognized by a larger audience. That is this technology that they introduced in the drama is too much for me to believe. It just felt like something that only happens in a drama not in reality. Also, I did feel like Chun Yu's character could have been played by someone else. Sun Qian did a great job but idk why I felt that way.....

PS - Irrespective of the genre you like, my suggestion is WATCH THIS DRAMA!!!!

Where is the wedding??..Typical MAME

At first I thought 7 eps are a bit short. But, after watching this drama I felt 7 episodes are more than enough. There is nothing new in this drama nor any message is delivered.

Coming to the acting, leads are good actors(not great). Sometimes I felt nuea's acting a lil cringey. The most cringiest part I felt was the entire yiwa and marine's story. The sotry is really well organized. It delivered what it was supposed to, but not entertaining enough. End of the day the leads have great chemistry.

Things I liked about the entire drama is - It is fast paced, cameos of prapai x sky and payu x rain. Also, mame has a different style telling that the story is MAME's LOL. But I just want to ask sailom and nuea is that, "You have reached the point where everyone accepted both of you, but where is the wedding that you have planned" haha :)

So, if you have nothing new to watch or want something that is not toxic, something that is fast paced, and are a fan of Love in the Air drama, then this is it..Go Watch it!!

P.S. - I watched it for the cameos of LITA couples LOL !!!

"Useless Lies" should have been the Main Title

I binge watched first 6 episodes and it felt really good. The story is unique and the suspense part in the starting episodes made it more interesting and got me hooked. Also the lie detecting scenarios felt really good and funny in the first few episodes. To be precise - "A great Start".

I reason I said "Useless Lies" would be more suitable for the main title is because I felt even thought Female Lead can detect lies the situation or the questions might be inaccurate(If you know..you know). So, I felt week by week the story deteriorated but it was watchable and not boring at all. But it picked up again when the murder mystery came into light.

Their dating era felt surreal to me. But got to admit they have the healthiest relationship ever. I am happy it ended really well. But kudos to the writer and the team of "My Lovely Liar" I have not even a bit expected the plot twist with Deuk Chan.

Coming to the Acting everyone performed really well. But I kinda expected more from them but that's ok, the story made it up for me. Leads did a great job. Lee Si woo(syaon) is a great actress, she portrayed the character really well, can't wait to see her in a main role. And i'm happy for Chi Hoon, he finally acheived his dream........hahaha.Literally Chi hoon is the most aloof and a funny character.

In short, it started well, the mystery and plot twist is awesome, and it ended really well. Just another good fantasy K-drama. So, Go Watch it!!!!!!

The award for the BEST INTRODUCED DRAMA goes to "Dear Hyeri".....WHY THOUGH from a 9.5 to an 8.0 :(

What a start......... I would say. The first two episodes of this drama are a 10/10 for me. The way they portrayed the character's intro without any confusion........the clarity of the plot.............wow, I was in awe when I just finished watching the first 2 episodes.

I haven't watched any kdrama with a similar plot so this story is kind of refreshing to me. I think the first two episodes narrated the story and the rest of the story is just the HOW & WHY these things are happening. So, at times I just felt the narration of the story could have been extended to few more episodes so that the backstory of the leads wouldn't have felt draggy.

I just want to share on opinion of mine:

I was like really angry with the ending and the writer of this drama. How can the writer expect us to see Eun Ho and Hyun Oh together when he portrayed Hyun Oh as a not so boyfriend material....not being able to communicate properly about his family situation to his Girlfriend.........And also the writer portrayed Kang Ju Yeon as the ultimate green flag and the perfect person for either Hye Ri or Eun Ho and he expects us to see Eun Ho and Hyun Oh's endgame.....what bullshit. I am mad at Eun Ho as well, how can she accept Hyun Oh to be her bf again....even though he did not explain his side of story to her yet......

[Excuse my bluntness.....but after watching this drama I felt like I had to share this info with someone/somewhere......]

Coming to the Acting & the visuals - only one word: MIND-BLOWING. Can anyone have any complaints with Shin Hye Sun's acting....no....NEVER. The MLs are really good looking especially Kang Hoon and I really liked their acting. I didn't even know that these MLs existed but I'm just 2 eps in and I really am loving Kang Hoon......he's soooooo freaking handsome and with his acting &visuals, I can't get him out of my head.

Yes, it is just me simping over Kang Hoon but the way he portrayed the desperate Kang Ju Yeon, saying that at one point he just wants to be with Ju Hye Ri even though she doesn't exist - is one of the best things. There are many instances, where I felt like I would like the writer to change the whole plot at one time and give my boy Kang Ju Yeon a happy ending with Ju Hye Ri.......it doesn't matter if it is going to happen in a parallel universe.

And apart from Kang Hoon I really liked Jeong Jae Young and Kim Shin Jung(Woo Young Woo's father LOL) characters. Their presence in the drama and the way they make us laugh is kind of refreshing. Woo young woo's father is a versatile actor and would like to see more of his works as a father and can't wait to see him as Woo Young Woo's father in EAW S2(if it is going to happen) <3

I just watched the drama in 2.5x speed and got through it somehow.......the logic is okay but it is not maintained through out the story is what I felt.....If only the hyeri's character could have gotten more justice it would have been so much better. The title is 'Dear Hyeri' making us all think about it is going to be about Hye Ri or about the illness that FML has but the story is all about Eun Ho......Not fair.....It gave us false expectations :(

For those who are WONDERING TO WATCH THIS or not: I would suggest you just give it a try even though you might feel disappointed in the end but Shin Hye Sun's acting and Kang Hoon's acting & Visuals are going to make up for it. If you can't bear to watch the 50 min /1hr episodes try watching it in 2x speed.

PS - Great Start!! But they made us have false expectaions......a little disappointed!!!!!

Cute Drama with a Rushed Ending......

The main purpose of writing this review is to highlight the points which have not been discussed yet.

This drama delivers everything to the audience starting from leads meeting for the first time, getting to know each other in high school, confession scene, going to University, Working as adults, Getting Married, Having Kids, A perfect Happy Ending.

But, the entire story is potrayed in their high school life and the remaining phases of their life story is a bit rushed. Also, there are many scene skips liek not potraying the scene in a well detailed manner. For example, ML's graduation ceremony in both high school and University phase. There are few other scenarios as well.... I feel like the second couple should have gotten more screen time as a couple instead of friends.

But end of the day, it was a great one time watch with refreshing youth story. Like I said I have no complaints with the story but with the potrayal of the scenarios (but it was really a petty one LOL).

Highly recommend it!!

Even "After Sundown" ....... Saeng Rawee is there for Phloeng

Even though the duration of this movie is only about 100 minutes they tried to cover each and every aspect. If only they could have increased the runtime and showed us some character development, then it would have felt way more content while watching the movie.

Even though the story is something common - Arranged marriage to drive away misfortune, leads already met when they are kids, and the horror part is also something kind of similar plot which we are already familiar with(I don't want to spoil it). Everything was extremely supernatural and way beyond science(Well what else can we expect when the story was set in 1960s hahaha). Like I said they could have made the whole plot in a more detailed manner(Not saying it is not detailed enough LOL).

Acting wise, the actors did a really good job. The music is also pleasing and suited the movie and the situation really well. Like we already know NuNew is a great singer right!! My only complaints are regarding the story elaboration, other than that it's a good movie.

[Ahem...the headline is a hint regarding climax]

P.S. - I have not read the novel. But the movie's a solid one time watch. Go Watch it!!

Unusally Ordinary!!

At first, I was not sure...if I wanted to start watching this drama. I have nothing interesting to watch that time, so I started watching this drama. I clearly remember I completed 4 episodes at once. And I can definitely say, I am glad I watched this drama.

Then again, the story is very ordinary (in a good way tho......many people might disagree with me on this but it is just my opinion LOL). Like I always say, It is the portrayal, the acting and the way the story progresses is all that matters to me. So yeah, coming to the story, if you've read the description of the story....you will have an entire idea of what you are going to experience in this drama.

Coming to the acting, I can say it is good. I can't call it excellent. The reason is, I felt like their acting in few episodes/scenes can be a lot more improvised(especially the way how Wei Qian reacted towards his sister's relationship) . Maybe it might be because of the story too(I am not able to identify the exact reason....but I definitely felt that way...). The actors are all good tho. They all did fit their characters really well.

Finally, kudos to the team and the actors for giving us a nice and enjoyable drama. I cannot guarantee that it will be an excellent watch. If you liked the description of the drama mentioned in MDL page, then you might really really like this one.

PS: Lacks few things!! But definitely enjoyable....GO WATCH IT !!!!

First of all I would like to talk about the amazing cast and their wonderful acting. So, I would like to say that the first point that few people check for in a drama is satisfied. I felt that only an idol IRL can perform the character of Doona perfectly and Bae Suzy just nailed it.

The story is nothing new. But I just enjoyed this story so much, even thought the story is nothing new the characters and the way story progressed made it up for me. The character portrayal is obviously the heart of the story. Especially Yang Se Jong's character felt so refreshing to me.

Also the visuals in this drama are really good. Especially Doona, won jun, Jin-Ju, I-ra are really really good looking in the drama. I have no complaints regarding acting. This is my first time watching Yang Se Jong's acting and I really can't wait to watch more his dramas in the future.

If only they have an award under the category of best boyfriend, then definitely Won jun will get that award. He is such a caring boyfriend and understands Doona very well more than anyone else. Doona deserves the best as well, even though at first she irritated Won Jun, she is just misunderstood. Won Jun and Doona deserve each other as they deserve the best!!!

In the first episode, when they tried to portray the scenes that happened in the past, I felt that there is a bit of confusion while trying to figure out whether the scenes are happening in the past or the present. But in the upcoming episodes it was alright. But the last few episodes are really painful. Because I really couldn't stand them being sad even though they are doing pretty great in their daily life.

This is the first drama where I felt that opening song suited the drama the most and it felt really good listening to that song. I am not a big fan of these kind of climaxes. I watch dramas for pleasure and to feel happy, but the climax made me a bit sad. Only if they just given us a hint about their relationship instead of just vaguely defining it. But overall I enjoyed watching this drama. The chemistry b/w the leads is off the charts.

Then again this is a kind of drama where the director wants us to guess everything and have not explained few things in detailed. Like for example I-ra's dating phase, Jin-Ju's trip and occupation, also Won-Jun's job whereabouts. I am curious to know what job did Won Jun get and how is his family doing. Considering all these things, I wish they go for a season 2, cause I want to see more about Doona and Won Jun's story!!

PS - Great Acting! Usually Unusual Story LOL! Worth Your Time!!
