Very problematic

I thought the characters were cute. Vee was really adorable at first. but then he keeps getting annoying. I'm surprised Mark can tolerate Vee's behavior even seeing so many red flags about him. The relationship was messy and unhealthy even from the start. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt with Mark and Vee's relationship, but it was so toxic. The problems are always the same. Trust issues, cheating, miscommunication. Different episodes but same problem.
They had their cute moments being together, but I got tired of it after realizing that Mark is too good for Vee.
I guess the acting was good if the main cast can irritate me. Music wasn't really rememberable but it was there.
I wouldn't recommend watching this at all.

Okay. Mixed feelings..

I like how the story takes place in the late 90s and it's a romance movie. Although, I was hoping for more romance between the main characters. There was a lot of events going on and it felt really quick. Bora was a great main character. Honestlyyy, I was kind of confused with the guys because their hairstyle looked very similar, so I couldn't tell if she was with Hyun Jin or Woon Ho. It took me the first half to figure out who they were. I was irritated with Yeon Doo when she confronted to Bora because she blames Bora for being in the middle of the mess, but she's always the one who's asking Bora to do things for her. Like sis you better work for it yourself. Later on, she makes up for her petty confrontation, so I guess she was a decent character. Character growth in a few minutes. Again, a lot of things happening but things get resolved really quick. I didn't really care about the music. I wouldn't watch this again because it wasn't much of a happy ending, but I'm glad I've seen it.
I'm not sure how I feel after finishing this movie. I was expecting more chemistry between Bora and Woon Ho. They had their moments several times, but it felt too quick and I wanted to watch them together longer. I wished the guys had more personalities in order for me to tell them apart. The only plot twist I liked was when Yeon Doo told Bora about the guy she likes. Everything else was random and the bare minimum of drama. The story was cute and sad but not memorable.

I really want to like this show..

I've seen Addicted and I enjoy that show, so I was excited to see a remake of it.

I totally love the main characters. They are so cute and funny. I believe the chemistry between Wu bi and Su yu was the strongest. The little plots that happens keeps the series interesting. So much emotions happening. One moment I would be laughing and then the next I get speechless. The mood really hits you having happy, sad, surprised, and mad moments. The OST is beautiful.

There were several things I didn't like about the series. The fights were just cringey to me. I think it's ridiculous how a high schooler can beat up grown men and supposedly skilled men without getting hurt. He can't be that overpowered. As much as I like the OST, I was also getting tired of it every time they keep replaying it like around episodes 10ish. If it was instrumental, then I wouldn't mind, but it was literally the entire song every single episodes. It seem like it was used for fillers and it just ruins the beauty or "magic" of the emotional scenes once I keep hearing it all the time. Su Yu's family is just UGH so weird. But I guess they add interesting plots. But idk their personality is just psycho. Of course there's going to be characters I don't like, but I didn't see their intentions with why they're cruel besides just doing it for the heck of it.
I really adore Wu bi and Su yu's interaction, but I'm still confused to where they stand. Are they lovers or just close step brothers?? I guess they left that with our imagination. Still, I'd rather not have love interest with my step siblings.
Some plots were quick and some plots didn't make sense.
Of course, the ending was just :\ like huh??? For me, I think the ending ruin the whole series for me. As much as I love the characters, it just seemed like a waste of time once you finished it. Like you did this for what???

Very musical. I like it!

I'm a fan of musicals. Anything with singing in it is my favorite, so I'm bias about this. Simple cute story about Lyric wanting to achieve her dream. That first episode got me HOOKED. Literally the first several minutes was so good. Got me so excited. Predictable story but also had a few twist that caught me off guard. 8 episodes was perfect. It would've felt dragged if there were more episodes.
Everyone's role was perfect. Lyric definitely stands out with her charismatic personality. Beat was a great supporter. Jazz and Melissa were AMAZING. Crazy vocal range. Cadence was fabulous. Stevie and Verlyn were great together. Jazz's mom was so harsh omg but she plays the evil character so well haha.
The songs were greatttt. Love it.
One part I want to mention was when Grae was introduced later on and show off their moves at Lyric's school. Everybody was intimidated by Grae's team, and I thought that was overexaggerated. Modern Pop's dance moves was off the chart. I get that. But only Grae was singing. The prime belters and team werpa had god vocalist and dancers. It was an EZ win for prime belters and team werpa.
I really enjoyed this series. Simple, short, cute, entertaining, and fun! Highly recommend to give it a try.

It feels like a school project film

The story was cliche. Pretty much knew how the story was going to be like. I watched it because it was a new BL filipino drama. First episode I was going to drop it, but I give it a try to finish it because it was only 20 minutes so why not?

I think the actors were pretty funny. It was like out of context funny.

Acting was just not there. Everyone was just too bland. The only good acting was Nikko's frustration. Nikko smiled the whole time, Eli was just handsome, Justine always looked annoyed. I think the group friends had more personality than the individuals, like Eli's buddies and the 3 girls. The song title was so cheesy. The special effects was kind of interesting but eh not really necessary. It kills the emotions when I visually see how the characters are feelings with the emojis and heart shapes like okay I get it. I didn't understand why Eli liked Nikko. Justine deserved better even though he was kind of creepy cringey. Nikko's plot reveal was errrrr insensitive. The love triangle was annoying but whateva needed plot somehow.

Watch the series without expectations and it will be okay.

Pretty good

I mostly watched it because Krist was the main character. The story was was interesting and relatable in some ways. Few moments of life lessons I admire from the characters. Cliche but entertaining. Just something to watch if you don't got other BL series in mind.

I really love Pearmai. Her character was just soooooo good. I kinda wished there was more scenes of Kwan because she was the only side character I rarely got in touched with. Otherwise, everyone was important.

The only thing I didn't like in the series is the love. I wasn't sure why everyone liked someone for a reason besides "you're cute." That was the energy I got from pretty much EVERYONE. Well besides Kawi and even Kwan. It just sounds like a little crush and nothing too deep. The love plot wasn't such a strong attribution to the story.

Again, this was a nice series to watch and pretty new storyline in the BL industry. Give it a try.

Okay cute. Kind of awkward.

I liked Key's character. He was simple and cute. Everyone else was awkward. Chen tried to be romantic but it turns out to be a cringe. Libby's crying was also cringy. Martin was just there. There's also 2 eye candy men. I guess it wasn't so bad for new actors.
OST wasn't rememberable.
Simple short story. It was the acting that kept bothering me because it just felt unnatural.
You're not going to get much out of this series. I was expecting a lot from this series according to the positive reviews, but it just felt bland to me.

This season went downhill

Season 1 was good. This season tried too hard. I thought the crime plot was interesting, but the way it was handle was off. It just feels unrealistic for students being invested in it while also trying to figure out what college to go to. There's a lot to handle on a plate. The emotions were also tried too hard. Overuse of crying ruins the emotions. Also, I felt like some things that are said were so harsh like telling someone they hate them. HATE. That's a strong word. How are you going to tell someone you hate them but come back to help them eventually? Confusing. Also, the things Deib's dad be saying is so rude. Like really sir???
Max and Deib were cute in season 1, but their relationship just felt toxic in this season. RJ is so cuteeeeee. I totally ship Max and RJ. Their chemistry was way better than Deib. I liked Kim because she was kind of funny. Michiko's bfs was always awkward. Dale was weird and Tob was just there. The love triangle of Naih, Lee, and Melissa was whatever. It's a problem but wasn't needed. Lorde was annoying as always.
The songs were beautiful though. Props to that.
Pretty disappointed about this season, but I'm glad I finished it.

Interesting concept but poorly executed

Everything looks good on paper. The idea of reincarnation and the cute couples. Then I realize nothing is really happening and the couples are awkward.
The first episode surprised me. I wasn't sad though because I just started the series and I can't feel anything with people if I don't really know them. The most interesting part of the series was Dean trying to be Pharm's boyfriend in the first several episodes. The rest of the show gets boring. Lots of long staring. It's good once in a while but too much of it will lose the magic, so nothing felt dramatic or had its moment. So much fillerrrrssssss. The rest of the episodes is mostly Dean and Pharm trying to be cute together. I wouldn't mind if there was more chemistry with them, but it was just so plain. They stare into each other's eyes, Dean acts cute or naughty towards Pharm, and Pharm bashfully says "P'Dean!" Pretty much their whole relationship.
I like Pharm's character. Even though he was shy, he still stood up for himself. Dean is just there.
Intouch and Korn's relationship was weird to me. Intouch smiles too much. I don't know why Korn fell for Intouch. All Intouch did was bother Korn until he decided to tolerate his annoying clingy behavior.
TeamWin all the way <3 haha. They had more chemistry than the main characters. Both the past and present.
The shipping team was annoying. First of all, everyone is somehow gay in this series, yet everyone is always adoring Dean and Pharm together.
The OSTs was great. Well, the ones without the background music and just the singing made me cringe every time it was used during the series. Otherwise, the songs were catchy.
This series was too long. I wouldn't recommend watching it unless you're into blank stares.

Mediocre

I was hooked on episode 1. I was hoping for the story to be more serious relating to BL studios, but it got brushed off and focus mostly on the relationship. Gene was awkwardly funny and Nubsib is hot.
I find it weird how Nubsib liked Gene when they were little kids though because they haven't even hit puberty to understand what loving means. That didn't make sense to me.
What also doesn't make sense to me was towards the end when they were "forced" to break up when all they had to do was not be seen together physically. Just text each other or facetime. Meet up once in a while. It just seems like everyone made a big deal over an issue that can solve easily.
The biggest villain, Aoey, was just evil. He was just so manipulative and annoying and I think the producers wanted to make it seem like he was a victim.
Tum and Tiffy's relationship was okay at first, but then Tiffy's character was irritating when Tum confessed to her. Her reason why she didn't want to be in a relationship with him was because she thought he was gay even though he had the courage to confess so ??? Were we supposed to laugh at that joke? And then he starts rapping and now she's all like "lol okay you're cute." ??? Were we supposed to laugh at that too??? Their relationship just went downhill.
I don't really care about the music. It was just there.
There's a lot of confusion in this series. The producers shows the scene and expect us to feel what we're supposed to feel, but we end up feeling something else. Gene and Nubsib's love story, Aoey's evil intentions, Tum and Tiffy's relationship, and even the plot.
The series was entertaining. It kind of got boring in a few episodes towards the end. The ending was meh. I guess it was supposed to be cute and cheesy, which it was, but it was wrapped up so quickly like the bare minimum. Again with the confusion with what the producers wants us to feel vs how we actually feel.
It was an okayyyy series. It wasn't too bad, but I feel like I wanted more out of it.
