Very musical. I like it!
I'm a fan of musicals. Anything with singing in it is my favorite, so I'm bias about this. Simple cute story about Lyric wanting to achieve her dream. That first episode got me HOOKED. Literally the first several minutes was so good. Got me so excited. Predictable story but also had a few twist that caught me off guard. 8 episodes was perfect. It would've felt dragged if there were more episodes.Everyone's role was perfect. Lyric definitely stands out with her charismatic personality. Beat was a great supporter. Jazz and Melissa were AMAZING. Crazy vocal range. Cadence was fabulous. Stevie and Verlyn were great together. Jazz's mom was so harsh omg but she plays the evil character so well haha.
The songs were greatttt. Love it.
One part I want to mention was when Grae was introduced later on and show off their moves at Lyric's school. Everybody was intimidated by Grae's team, and I thought that was overexaggerated. Modern Pop's dance moves was off the chart. I get that. But only Grae was singing. The prime belters and team werpa had god vocalist and dancers. It was an EZ win for prime belters and team werpa.
I really enjoyed this series. Simple, short, cute, entertaining, and fun! Highly recommend to give it a try.
