Sweet story that covers how trauma can affect not only your life but relationships as well.
Overall this show was a great story! I can agree with others that this drama was a little short, but so are all kbls honestly. It would’ve been great if we had a little more explanation on seungjun’s background, but I ended up satisfied and could understand easily through what tidbits we did get, and that didn’t really affect my overall rating of this show.Dongwon played Seungjun wonderfully and I personally believed he captured all the tidbits of seungjun’s personality perfectly from the anxiety, the coldness towards jaehyun at first, and even down to his interactions with joowon. The character hisself had wonderful development even if it wasn’t shown as well as it could’ve been due to time constraints.
Jaehyun captured my heart from the moment he showed up. His character didn’t change much, but seongtae did great with the role!
Overall the interactions between jaehyun and seungjun were super cute and kept my attention on them the entire time, even with the coldness of seongjun’s past. It’s a quick watch so even if it’s not your normal cup of tea, you should give it a chance! Another wonderful bl drama from our knk boys!

Cute and sweet Relationship between middle aged men!
I can’t really say much more than you need to watch this! I certainly regret not watching this show sooner. The chemistry between Nozue And Togawa is Perfect and doesn’t have any of the worrisome power dynamics you can see in other office romance dramas. The balance between their work life and personal life is well balanced (in my opinion anyways), and you easily forget that Nozue and Togawa have a ten year age gap. I personally think that it’s due to how closed off Nozue was, but he still had quite a bit of that childish vibe once he got closer with Togawa. I sincerely thought Togawa was going to get on my nerves going into this but I totally fell in love with his character by the end.
This drama really kind of brought a beautiful light to how diving deep into work can make life drag on in a way that seems unlivable and how breaking out of your comfort zone can bring back happiness and positive interactions within not only your work life but also personal.
I really gotta give it up for Kimura Tatsunari, he portrayed the emotions of Togawa really well and didn’t leave me with that cringey feeling I get with other dramas where someone cries so hard they have snot running out of their nose.
The show was super sweet and I often found myself smiling at the small interactions between Nozue and Togawa when they complimented each other, and I was definitely laughing each time they choked on their drinks.
all in all it’s a super quick watch so even if dramas like this aren’t your usual cup of tea, you wouldn’t be wasting too much time by giving this drama a chance!

Trauma healing through love and found family
Wow, I really don’t have much to say about this drama than it’s very much a must watch if you love fluffy romance. It’s rare that I love a Japanese bl as it’s uncommon for me to find one that doesn’t include ten thousand tropes or some kind of scene that makes me feel uncomfy. This show did great at balancing the trauma background with the wholesome sweet moments that helped heal that trauma.
First off I really want to speak on tane’s importance to the story. Some could argue that tane wasn’t as important to the plot as minoru, but after watching this, there really were so many moments where tane pulled the plot together in such a perfect way. the way tane was able to consistently break the tension when it got too thick was perfect, even if annoyed us because it always happened at what could be considered at the worst times. It was honestly necessary though, because I doubt minoru and yutaka would’ve been able to get as close as they did without him. I honestly feel that if minoru had to deep of a talk with yutaka too early, then it would’ve broken any sense of comfort yutaka built with minoru.
now on to the relationship side. For those who only consider a relationship in a drama real with a really apparent really big kiss scene, I doubt this is your drama. For those who like slow burn romances, this is definitely up your alley. This show is definitely for those that love a story where the characters heal each other, without it being obviously in a romantic way. Minoru and yutaka both had traumatic backgrounds, minoru’s being growing up in a family with a sick mother who passes early, leaving the oldest son to help take care of the younger sibling, and yutaka being the adopted kid who had trouble fitting into his new family. Minoru helped yutaka get over his trauma and find an understanding of what it means to be mutually important to someone, while yutaka helped minoru regain the smile he lost after losing his mother. Minoru’s family becoming yutaka’s family really honestly is the most important plot line in this drama, and the romance coming second if you ask me, but I also just have a weak spot for found family tropes.
All together, please give this drama a chance, especially if you’re tired of the gritty, painful bl dramas that can often be found within the Japan bl category. It was so sweet and wholesome and the way everything unfolded perfectly really kept me hanging onto to this drama for dear life. Even the sad parts of this drama come out with a heartwarming solution. Definitely going to be rewatching this drama so many times.

Good in theory, not in action.
This show had quite a bit of good content in theory, most people wouldn’t like this because it isn’t your stereotypical bl, right? I watched the first five episodes (Billyseng storyline) but I couldn’t bring myself to watch the rest. maybe bad casting, maybe just the storylines not put together well enough, I’m not sure.I was looking forward to this show because it had a great story of looking into the y industry, and how competitive, petty, and demanding it can be, but I don’t think the story was put into place well. maybe it was the chemistry between actors, maybe it was the way the production shot it, maybe it was just an example of a good show in theory but not in action.
