An overrated boring show that doesn't deserve all the hype it's getting

High School Return of A Gangster is based on a BL webtoon that is turned into bromance. For that, people were hating on it (they were right about hating on it because it simply shows homophobia) but I didn't hate on it from then at all. Instead, I dove in here and loved the first episode and was excited for the other remaining episodes. So, I continued watching it to only find the drama getting more and more boring. I mean, we HAVE TO agree that MOST teen dramas are a bit overrated except for Twinkling Watermelon, All of Us Are Dead, Lovely Runner and Pyramid Game among others (there are more but i can't seem to remember). I didn't include Night Has Come because it's SO underrated (one of the first underrated teen dramas). This show, HROAG, is an okayly-written drama with a boring plot. So basically, Kim Deuk Pal wanted to change Yi Heon's life by helping him overcome school bullying, making new friends, protect his mother, graduate and get into a good college BUT he also wanted to let him go to juvie by helping the bullies escape from it (especially Jae Min) so he just accepted to get into juvie because he didn't tell the bully Jae Min to get the evidence. Look, I get that he was trying to be nice to a kid whose life is miserable, but when someone makes a mistake, HE HAS TO PAY FOR IT! And HE DID, only because Se Kyung told him to. If he hadn't told him, Yi Heon would be in juvie for doing NOTHING! That's the first thing he did to the boy Yi Heon. Now the second thing is at the finale, where the real boy insisted on dying so the old man would live (It would've been shameless had he not insisted) but I was surprised at the old guy, he didn't even try to tell him to live instead of him ONE TIME! He just continued on living in his body happily ever after. Okay, if you are arguing that Deuk Pal deserved to live, the kid also did, too. This show makes suicide a happy ending for the boy. Basically, the boy thought of suicide as a happy ending for him and didn't want to live. What about the depressed people who are watching this?? This show will just make them even more suicidal!
Disappointing. But I have to give credits to Yoon Chan Young. Great Job.

A Very Cute and Cozy Watch for Romance Lovers

This was a good show. It was fun and cozy. Kim So Hyun ,Kim Da Som, Lee Won Jung as well as other actors shined here. They're very talented actors. The OST was unforgettable and perfect. The chemistry was amazing. What I didn't like was the endings of some of the characters. Sang Pil had such a bad ending. He deserved so much more! He wasn't happy with his career and he was envious of his friends who are all dating except for him. He deserved love from his parents who barely cared about him as he said and a person to stay by his side in his hard times. And what about Jun Ho? He looked so sad at the end. It seemed like Hoo Young was Hong Joo's first love, not Jun Ho. Her heart raced for him sometimes and she looked very happy each time she saw him, but they didn't point that out although it seemed obvious. The show was good overall, although it had some plot holes.

Just Something Else...

I already miss this show soooo much after finishing it 3 hours ago... i literally loved EVERYTHING...from the cast and the music ,to the story and the intrigue. My heart fluttered from the family time , it ached from crying , it twinkled from the chemistry and it stopped from the thriller. I loved everyone's acting, especially Kim Soo Hyun's ,Kim Ji Won's, Park Sung Hoon's,Lee Mi Sook's, Kim Jung Nan's, Kim Joo Ryung's, Kim Gab Soo's, Na Young Hee's, Kwak Dong Yeon's ,Jeon Bae Soo's, Hwang Young Hee's, Lee Joo Bin's... Bruh, did i LITERALLY write everyone here???I was thinking of writing a few but i couldn't stop writing the actors' names. The songs Love You With All My Heart and The Reasons Of My Smiles were reallyyy good especially LYWAMH. But wait...i forgot to describe KSH, KJW, LMS, and KJN's actings : KSH was amazing,i am speechless . He could cry at any moment and he portrayed his character so well. KJW was amazing too,she could also cry whenever she wanted +she was so like IU's character in Hotel Del Luna, a seemingly emotionless person, with a broken heart of gold, and she played that character PERFECTLY ,and she was GORGEOUS ! I AM LEFT SPEECHLESS FOR LMS...She was PERFECT AND PHENOMENAL...She scared me sooo much ,because of how good she portrayed her role. Finally, KJN, was Just as good as the three i mentioned( i don't have anymore adjectives to use on her lol),she just ROCKED it though. She played a caring and loving character who wanted her entire family to reunite and reconcile and she loved them with all her heart. Just thanks,KJN for your acting...Of course, the cinematography ,writing were so good .Thank you so much Park Ji Eun for a new drama that enlightened us!!!

a Makjang Historical Drama with Everything You Would Ever Want

I fell in love with this show. It just had everything.From comedy,to drama,to thriller,to romance,to action,to historical,to betrayal,to revenge...
First,I loved how they made poison from the flower petals, that was so cool .I loved the chemistry between the leads, the return of the husband and the filming location. The writing of each character was amazing and the comedy with Honey was so funny .I would laugh every second she did something funny. All the actors performed their roles perfectly ,especially the elder ones, like Kim Mi Kyung, the lady who poisoned her husband, her brother, and Yeo Hwa's father-in-law.( I don't know their names well).
This is an underrated masterpiece with only 10,000 watchers .

A Realistic Story of Heroes With Crack-ups and a Woman who Enters Their Lives to Change Everything

First, Let me say that this is in my top 3 so far this year alongside Queen of Tears and Lovely Runner. This drama is literally so fun from start to finish. It's realistic, well-written and well-directed. It's originally created by Kang Eun Kyeong, who wrote masterpieces like Dr. Romantic and Gyeongseong Creature, written by Joo Hwa Mi, an amazing new writer and directed by Jo Hyun Taek, who also directed masterpieces like SKY Castle and Snowdrop. I dove into this drama with so many expectations and I didn't get disappointed at all. I agree the drama has some plotholes, like the dad caring about his FL more than his daughter, but I don't mean the part where he is depressed. Just to explain because people are complaining that when he was depressed, he didn't care about his daughter at all, depression is not just being very sad and that, it's a serious mental illness in which you want to be isolated most of the time and don't like to socialize with others and depressed parents interact with their children differently like using less emotions. Now, I'm gonna talk about the acting. I'm starting with Chun Woo Hee and Park So Yi because they're the gems of this show. They played their characters so well. From crying scenes to caring-about-each other scenes, they rocked them all. Claudia Kim, Oh Man Seok, Jang Ki Yong, Go Doo Shim, Ryu Abel and others also rocked it. They all did really well. The scene in episode 9 where Gwi Joo figures out I-na's power is so emotional. The two actors did so good in that scene. I also love how awkward the relationship between I-na and Gwi Joo was when he was depressed because it's so realistic. THAT'S how a relationship between a daughter and a depressed father is like. Also, the amount of action thrown in episode 12 is literally so fun. From the theater scene to the fire scene to the last scene, it was all too good.
What a perfect series. It deserves so much hype.
