This drama is pretty solid?, but I can't call it one of the best since I've watched a ton of great ones. Still, it's definitely worth a watch! The only downside I've noticed is that some parts of the plot are a bit iffy. If they had nailed those sections, it would have been absolutely amazing.

1- The first episode. The meeting of the two.
2-The first scene with Mei Lin-powerful assassin.
3-The opening song (in every episode I had to listen to the song).
4-Jing He's appearance, attitude, words as a prince in the palace. (He was totally a fairy tale prince);
5-The immortal flower analogy (in which Jing He explains to Luo Mei) referring to Mei Lin.
6-The mystery in the painting left by Jing He's mother before she died (and discovered by Mei Lin), which took Jing He away from the path of madness.
7-I liked the sibling rivalry (I found it interesting to watch). Between Morung Jing He and Murong Xuan Li.
8-The scene in the lake of stars (Jing He and Mei Lin);
9-The scene of Jing He and Mei Lin (having hallucinations);
10-The scene of Mei Lin's fight in front of the palace. The spear she throws at the villain (and then she sinks into the lake and Jing He searches for her in the lake and saves her with a kiss at the bottom of the lake);
11-Mei Lin with her method of beating Jing He to sleep;
12-Every time Mei Lin and Jing He throw themselves off the cliff.
13-The place in the forest where Jing He and Mei Lin fight the assassins, they fight as a team;
14-Jing He as a general (every time he wears armor);
15-Luo Mei, the female general (in combat), she even loses an eye in it);
16-Jing He with her unconventional method to fend off Luo Mei's advances.
17-Jing He uses the whip in the cemetery to dig up Mei Lin and does not accept what seemed to have happened.
18-The Romeo and Juliet-type scene (the couple in bed), in the fateful moment that almost happened.
19-Those happy moments in the village, the couple living as peasants (this was in the middle of the drama);
20-Their wedding, the time they spent together.
21-Their meeting in the afterlife;
22-The courage of the soldiers who supported Jing He in all his general scenes;
23-The entire episode 1 (I have to say this again);
24-The first 10 episodes (especially those that kept us hooked), etc.
25- The couple fighting for survival in the snow (and she giving Jing He strength) to survive;
26- That moment of humiliation of Jing He in front of his beloved, Mei Lin (and she being sensitive and helping him in that moment);
27- The time in the cabin after that, and him confessing to her his emotional pains (the trauma he suffered in the war);
Best action scenes:
1- The fight in the forest where Jing He and Mei Lin fight side by side:
2- Luo Mei's fight on horseback, she still uses the spear and defeats the enemies. And this with a bloody eye. "I, Luo Mei, have fulfilled my mission.).
3- Jing He, in armor fighting in the middle of the war.

I saw a happy ending in the positive development of the two main characters' personal development. Messages hidden in the plot, which if we pay attention, are telling us something positive in the end. They always say, "It can't kill me." There is a reference to the immortal flower in the story, a flower that never dies, which is Mei Lin's favorite flower, and which despite showing Jing He's admiration for her, also represents himself (the personality that does not accept defeat), in most difficult moments in life. They are two similar characters. Like sides of the same coin.
In addition to a hidden message on the board that Jing He's mother left for him before she died (giving a warning, explaining her love for him, that she trusted him, that everything they accused him of, she knew he was innocent) . She died but managed to leave this message for him. And it was Mei Lin who made this possible. (In addition to the 5 trailers), and the ost. Some saw a sad ending, but I saw many messages in text drama showing otherwise.
Another element, lines from the trailer: "I pay back what I owe you. Everything I made you suffer, I will spend my whole life making it up to you. Mei Lin, I'm here with you."
And the main symbol is the immortal flower (which serves as an analogy for the two main characters).
PS:
However, the ending was a bittersweet mix. As if the elements of the happy ending from the original book were there, but it wasn't the same ending. It's sad, but it's also happy. It's full of melancholy, realism, poetry. But with the sadness as well as the joys of real life (as if in this ending, they imitated life), with its joys and sadness.
