Both feature protagonists who used to be sex workers. They have themes of loneliness and trying to overcome their past.

Both play with "what is real and what is part of the story." I can't explain more without spoiling.

The line between reality is intentionally blurred. I wish I could say more but it's a spoiler to really elaborate. Both also have memorable directing styles, though Funeral Parade of Roses is definitely more experimental.

Both are dark stories with sex work as an important part of the story. They're also both stories featuring mlm protagonists that involve violence.

Both stories have the leads love each other and then the FL changes. Even though she has changed enough that no one else believes the FL is the same person, the ML still still believes she is even when others try to make them doubt this. And.... he still loves her. Also children are involved lol

While waiting for new episodes of Legend of Shen Li to come back, I ended up craving a rewatch of Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. Both are unique, don't get me wrong, but if you like one you might like the other.

Physically and magically powerful FLs who have a strong resolve. Although TMOPB's FL doesnt start off mature, both FLs end up having mature attitudes about life and romance. Both women also are or become important military people.

Both also have somewhat of a reverse harem. And both also have lovesick MLs alongside a lovesick SL. Both also have characters that, despite their affection, have to hold back their feelings for the sake of world peace or whatever.

Idk probably more i just recommend you watch them both. Its the vibes, the vibes.

These two both have odd storylines about murder. They also both give off an alternative feel. I recommend jumping in blind with no expectations.

Douqi's notes for this one was that this short film is based off the Painted Skin 2008 version! It only makes sense to watch its origin story, though I have to admit I prefer the 2012 sequel.

Highly recommend this movie if you like the show and vice versa. They both focus on being grounded in nature with cooking elements and spectacular chill vibes. They also both have that perfect summer feel. If this show brings you peace then you should also find it in this movie series (Summer & Autumn, Winter & Spring)

Both dramas are about young folk discovering their attraction to each other. They experience confusing emotions and struggle with them. They also both have a light feeling with a supportive friend group.

Both stories are about actors who get way too absorbed in their roles. This is a one-way recommendation. I don't recommend Break to people who have watched Double, but if you watched Break then do yourself the favor of watching Double. The team behind the show just did an excellent job with the concept.

If you liked this hot mess, you will probably like Method. Method is basically the better version of Depravity / Break. It's about a method actor who gets way to absorbed in his role with his costar in a twisted love story. I honestly feel like the plot points are more interesting in Depravity, especially the lack of ambiguity, but the execution is so much better in Method.
