way too long for what it is
really enjoyable, but way too long. i really enjoyed watching them growing and evolving through the story, but 16 episodes ? most of it could've been solved within 10 episodes. well, at least it was funny ! JJ never disappoints, comedy was on point, wish i could say the same about storyline and romance. sometimes, it felt like the writers were lacking ideas, but that they had no choice but to take up elements already introduced in the story in order to hold the 16 episodes. anyways, would recommend it if you're looking for something chill, funny, cute (aou/boom served). it's also "promoting" great and healthy friendship, the kind of topic i adore ;).Was this review helpful to you?

glad i didn't let go
the perfect casting + the perfect plot + the perfect acting + the perfect storyline = the perfect drama. from the first second till the last, i was into it.it was the first time i saw perth acting in a gmmtv drama (i know him since LBC, which is a wabi sabi drama) and the first time seeing chimon. they both did a great job! perth's acting on beyond words.
pond and phuwin also got better, since FUTS! it looked more natural, spontaneous. phuwin looks more confident, more comfortable in front of cameras. they both (pond and phuwin) did really good at portraying their characters' emotions and feelings. when they were sad, you were sad. when they were happy, you were happy, etc. i also loved how they made dancing their thing!
the colors were pretty, the atmosphere was heavy and calming at the same time. what about the cinematography ? insane.
the only thing that stopped me from rating this 10/10 is that part with the couple at the bar, on the island (wu/david). making them interact with the main couple at the bar, why not. but what's the point of creating a story for them ? i didn't understand how it could be useful in the storyline, knowing it didn't have any impact on the main couple. that just made me cringe, to be honest.
but anyways, "never let me go" goes immediately on my top 5 best dramas ever! it really deserves a lot more, the cast and the storyline are literally perfect.

we all *secretly* wish for a love like theirs
discovering phuwin & pond's chemistry is the best thing i've ever done this year. thi drama made me giggle and swing my feet. when you think things can't get funnier, they GET funnier! i've been waiting for years for a drama that would be as sweet as funny, with a real story behind (not being funny to be funny, kwim), guess i found it :) whoever created neo's character needs a raise! that duen is funny as hell (without even trying).i also loved how nan (mix) carried the whole show even though he was on screen for like 10 minutes total. without him, God knows how long it would've taken for pi to realise he's deeply in love with mork ?? we shall also notice mork's persistence, he never gave up on pi even though pi wasn't easy on him. they fell for each other at the very beginning, without even noticing :)
they (all) made me giggle, burst out laughing, cry, realise i've never been more single. would 100% recommend! the only thing that stopped me from putting a 10 is the music that (sometimes) doesn't fit the mood, and some scenes where you can clearly see/sense the discomfort of some actors (mostly phuwin's tbh). otherwise, would 100% recommend :)
on my way to rewatch it 🫡

as cute as cringe
as weird as it might be, i loved hating it ? or rather i hated loving it. it's really heartwarming, soft and full of love and kindness. the fact that you can really feel how nuea and sky love (respectively) toh and kaojao made me fall for the characters, and the drama.however, some scenes were cringe asf, making me want to
hide under my bed of embarrassment. but still, the sweetness of the characters and their kindness made it a lot more bearable.
it is as sweet as honey, definitely worth it.

from bed friends to best friends
started for yim, finished for net & james chemistry. i literally ate it, took me only 2 days to finish it. the day i started, i feared it'd be a deja vu kind of story. but the way net and james portrayed their characters made me want to stay until the very end. they did a really good job, the story was captivating. uea's mistreatment wasn't just a "thing to make the story a bit different than the others", they made it a whole thing that takes uea's ability to trust/love anyone away. this almost carried the whole show. i loved how king never gave up on uea, the way he waited for him to be ready to open up to him. also, i loved watching yim in another role, being funny and a bit goofy. jade quickly became one of my favorite side characters.uea & King's chemistry is something else, they where definitely made to meet and to end up together. they were soulmates.

sweet as hell
as a french person, i couldn't be happier ! i discovered a lovely drama, with a bit of french in it, but honestly, even if it wasn't about France, i would still love it. it's so heartwarming and full of love.i loved the chemistry between force & book, this only made the drama funnier to watch. i truly enjoyed every episode, it became a real comfort zone.
akk's sweetness and kindness (and his patience !) made my heart melt. book's character was charming too, even tho he disappointed me at the end.
