1.Our story opens up with the Azhure messenger escaping (this show has so many titles!). Yun Zi tells Brother Qi that he is a traitor (the messenger--strange that he is telling this to a traitor but he doesn't know Brother Qi is a traitor). The guys get back together and essentially plan to take things slow since Yun Li has proven to be unpredictable.
2.They are trying to figure out what Yun Zi wants--he is hoping that ghost king exchanges something with him and this something is not the heavenly book--what could be more important than that?
3.Down in the dungeon, Yun Zi recollects to Bi Yao the last time he saw her father: at the Savage Holy Palace. A lot of sects left on their own (1,000 poison sect, Hwan Sect (the sect Jing Er is in) ) Yun Zi then goes on to state that his sect needs a leader, that his people are swayed by nice gestures, not by force, that he does not want to be enemies with ghost king (where is he going with this?)
4.Bi Yao tells Yun Zi that her father did not come save her when she and her mother were kidnapped, he won't now, he will only send troops to avenge her (she is proud) but Yun Zi seems confident that he will.....does he know about Xiao Fan?
5.Because they are disciples of Qin Yun, they must be careful in how they handle this. Fortunately, Messenger Guy is willing to physically save her, they just need to make that possible for him (I still am not sure what Yun Zi wants, everyone else seems to know. I only know that it is something that Ghost King says he does not have)--Xiao Fan seems to becoming more and more gray//I wonder if this test with the four is Qin Yun's way of choosing the next round of successors because they have to make difficult choices?
6.Jing Yu thinks that there is a motive that they have not thought of. He points out that if the ghost king knows that Xiao has the heavenly book, he could hand him over (this assumes that the ghost king would do that). But Yu believes that the Ghost king wants something else, and that Yun Zi wants something else....which is...?
7.A fire is started. Yu and Xiao try to break the princess out but Yun Zi's people are ahead of them. They lock her up somewhere else. Here she meets Sitou Xiao, who claims to be the sects young leader (so the guy upstairs isn't the real leader??)
8.Sitou shares that he has been here for several years, that he is believed to be dead, and that the strange light-red liquid swirling in him is the same thing in the water by her--blood bug--it takes out fresh blood from a person and takes on unique forms. Apparently it is near impossible to escape.
9.Thus Sitou guy tells her that the room can only be opened from outside. She can make some vibrations and use the bugs to attack the talisman sealing them in and that could trick Yun Zi inside....Apparently the mute girl Yun Shu and him have a connection?
10.We learn between Sitou and Yun Shu (who can talk) that 10 years ago, when the Long Life Sec abandoned Li Xie Sect, its leader came to the mountain fortress and pretended to be a physician to treat the mountain fortress's illness. On the day that Sitou was supposed to get married (Sitou essentially is in love with Yun Shu but promises to be with her in another life--lame) a tsunami hit the mountain fortress (summoned by the long life sect). That day the master of the fortress died, Sitou went missing, and because Yun ZI looked like a hero he obtained control of the mountain.
11.Bi Yao is infected with the blood bug. Because of this, she agrees to write the letter that Yun Zi wants written. Yun Shu is forced to be a prisoner with Bi Yao and the two lovers are reunited for the first time in 7 years....

1.We open to a city with plenty of military personnel. It is unclear if this is a war brewing or if this is just a popular cross-roads kind of city. Xiao Fan and Yue arrive and just as they are trying to plan their next move, they see Wild Dog. They pull him aside, but he is able to trick them and slip away. It is unclear what Wild Dog's motive is, but he changes his outfit to a commoner's disguise....
2.Now that Brother Qi has rejoined them, they seek out the Fortress master (well that answers a question). They are on their guard and alert, because even the servants know martial arts. They seek to blend in as a citizen and decide not to even mention their purpose for being there.
3.They run into a mute girl, ignore her, and see the Fortress master who immediately recognizes what sect they are from. We learn that the fortress leader is )preparing for war 2)the leader of the Long Life Sect Yu Yun Zi
4.Yu Yun Zi explains that his sect has long been neutral, but due to people plotting against him and the ghost king's desire to expand his power, he seems to have no choice but to become involved
5.Since they need the next scroll, they decide to offer their help (of course, Yun Zi doesn't know their motive is the same as ghost king's)
6.Back to Bi Yao: it seems that the bell she has taken from the tomb stops the craving for blood (I think it stops Xiao Fan from going into a crazy state) (and I might be crazy but I think that mute girl is the talking female servant to Bi Yao)
7.Xiao Fan is able to recognize an assassin based on a ring he is wearing (Brother Qi better be careful) Yun Zi is convinced this assassin is Qing Long
9.Yue asks Yun Zi about the heavenly book (he just decided, on his own). Yun Zi encourages them not to get swallowed up in the ghost king's lies/obsessions and brushes it off as a rumor (they can't exactly say to him that they know it exists)(also, he knows about it, he has to be lying)
10.The ghost lord attacks, and Brother Qi confronts Yue for disrespecting his plan, and tells him to go off on his own if he does it again (I mean, Yue kind of broke the chain of command)
11.Yue and Xiao Fan discuss the situation. Xiao Fan shares that he thinks that Yun Zi does not have the book however he believes that Yun Zi believes it is here, because why else would he have been here for a decade?
12.Xiao Fan and Yue bust into the ghost camp. After a conflict, Bi Yao snaps at him that he doesn't know how to take a hostage then makes it easy for him to take her hostage. This halts the attack. With demon girl mocking them later, Yue reminds Xiao to not let Senior Brother find out who their hostage is (I don't think Yue trusts him. This is also a complete breakdown of command)
13.Not being a fool, Senior Brother learns what is up through spying....
14.Bi Yao sleeps in Xiao Fan's room....she invites him back to her house so her dad can remove the book but he refuses and states he has a prior promise with Yu

1.While Senior Brother tries to extract the heavenly book from an unconscious Xiao Fan, Jing Yue is talking to the little brother of the medicine man whom he rescued. Little brother reveals that they are demons, causing Yue to judge them a bit, but the brother is defensive and explains that not all demons are violent for ex. they are vegetarians HOWEVER the man who kidnapped him stole their business, and without business, they will starve. Yue essentially says that is life, but little brother argues that they have the right to fight to survive
2.Yue discovers a fallen man and immediately runs back for Xiao Fan...but he is nowhere to be found. They assume he is alive and that Senior Brother went after him. They spread out to search. Little brother sends out some birds and then turns into an adorable (but horribly rendered) CGI puppy...
3.Meanwhile Senior Brother Qi looks a little crazy...but one of the birds finds them. Xiao Fan is taken to the Divine Doctor who reveals that drawing the beast god out could be bad. It would be better to investigate it and maybe merge it with the Qinyun/noble arts inside of him....
4.Senior Brother Qi's demonic vampire state was triggered by his efforts to extract the god from Xiao Fan. A member of ghost tribe intercepts him and using a ring is able to revert him back to his normal state. Senior Brother is told he cannot even touch Xiao Fan because it might trigger his demon state...
5.Meanwhile, Xiao Fan and Yue have a...slumber party? Here Yue confronts Xiao for not telling him certain things but Xiao refuses to break a promise that he made to a certain somebody and urges Yue to trust him
6.Meanwhile, Divine Healer has a conversation with someone from Jianghu. It seems he wants nothing to do with them, but this guy asks about a 9-Tale Fox Being held, which causes Divine Healer some discomfort. This is his mom...so Divine Healer is a fox...
7.It looks like Divine Healer is taken by this guy. Meanwhile, a familiar face arrives. He lectures Yue for automatically assuming a demon is bad (I have a feeling there will be a conflict between him and his sect leader) and explains that his leader let them stay because they were doing no harm....Yue apologizes to him (he should apologize to a lot of people)
8.I guess they choose not to involve themselves in the problems of others. Their goal to find Senior brother Qi and the heavenly scrolls continues....But then Senior Brother Qi returns. So baby fox brother is taken to the ghost tribe, where Bi Yao is playing with him....(BTW the guys head out, believing that their sect leader is sending someone to assist the fox/doctors)...
9.After meeting with Divine Doctor and learning of Xiao Fan's unstable state, Bi Yao gains her father's permission to leave the mountain (he straight up tells her she is meeting a lover) however she is disguised as a soldier. Interestingly, he tells her that 'the choice is hers'

1.We open to the affirmation that the city of Yudu will be taken up by Shu Shu, who has grown up a lot (catastrophe will do that). Qun Sect (the noble sect) swears to stand by him. Shu Shu checks to see if there is a will. While looking for a will, he finds the first city chief record,and it mentions heavenly record (tell me that he was not manipulated)
2.We get a more thorough history: each heavenly scroll is used to resurrect the god beast. Elder blackheart had one, and Yudu City chief hid the rest to stop him. That was when all the sects started fighting (presumably for the scrolls). After being defeated by immortal kuxin (who is this guy?) he hid underground, used one scroll to forcibly summon him (and you know the rest)
3.Senior Brother Qi(I think) looks at the map and then decides that it should be destroyed....he then decides to investigate the places on the map (why? suspicious) Jung Yue and Xiao Fan follow, claiming that they need to redeem themselves since the last mission failed (uh huh, maybe they aren't dumb)
4.Xuang Hua reveals a desire to learn magic to protect everyone (notice how Xiao Fan has sort of almost overnight become the leader of this group?)
5.Xiao Fan struggles with the god inside of himself....(don't be evil!). Yue helps him gain control. here Xiao Fan calmly reveals that the heaven's book that Mr. Ghost had entered his body. We learn Xiao Fan wants to find the second scroll to figure out how to get the heavenly book out of him. Yue cautions that it could harm him...He also worries it has to do with Bi Yao (does Yue secretly have a thing for her?)
6.Meanwhile..while being lectured by her shifu, Xue Qi stands up for Xiao Fan (I can't figure her out yet)
7,Xue Qi then reports to Ling Er in order to update Xiao Fan's sect (This would be Da Zhu Palace)
8.Senior Brother Qi gives some medicine for his erratic pulse (is it really medicine?) He goes unconscious, and he then uses a scale (the same one used on Xiao Fan much earlier) to draw out demonic power.....
9.Their efforts don't seem to be working. At one point Xiao Fan coughs up blood as they continuously try to stabilize him....
10.Ghost King speaks to his daughter about perhaps bringing Xiao Fan to her side but she defends him, making it clear he is stubborn, to dissuade him, but who knows what will happen
11.Xiao Fan is now in a coma because his inner self is a mess. Yue goes in search of the divine doctor (who is just a blur) and he claims he heals living, not dead, humans not immortals, men, not women, good, not evil (this guy makes me mad! what did women ever do??)
12.The healer will make an exception if Yue saves his little brother who was abducted by a mountain monster....yup.
13.Meanwhile....the senior brother left behind kind of looks like he is going to kill Xiao Fan he says 'you won't suffer anymore'...what will happen next??

1.Elderheart's spirit appears and announces he is going to get revenge for all those years ago. It seems like he is trying to prevent Xiao Fan from becoming a victim. But the end result is the beast god is released. Grandpa Wei (shu Shu's grandpa) tries to stop him and is turned to stone....
2.ghost princess is unconscious; Mr. ghost takes her away during the chaos. Cliff master takes everyone else away...

Part of the god was left alive, to be reborn in a certain someone's body...yup, Xiao Fan. I think that is what the beast god meant when he said his body was 'temporary'
7.Mr. Ghost believes that Xiao Fan has an attachment to ghost princess and suggests using that to bring him into their sect 0_0 They are also seeking the Heavenly Scroll (it is split in two) they think they know where one is, the other is not very clear
8.After reflecting on the events that happened to him involving the blood pearl Xiao Fan has a conversation with Xue Qi about Shu Shu. In short, they feel bad for him. The topic changes to the ghost tribe. While upset, Xiao Fan hesitates to name Bi Yao responsible but Xue Qi does not hesitate (I almost envy her ability to always no right from wrong.)
9.Xue Qi continues to condemn the ghost sect but Xiao Fan is much more open minded, insisting that good and evil are human creations and that in the beginning there was no such thing (basically saying it is just a word invented by powerful people trying to control others...or to label things you fear, right?) Xiao Fan thinks good and evil can co-exist (like yin and yang)....Xue Qi doesn't seem to think so. She says she will kill him if he turns evil.
10.In spite of her friendship with Grandpa Wei, Jing Er (embroidery lady) is being denied. She is also being blamed for all the bad things in the world just because she comes from an 'evil sect' She is about to be banned (that is a bit outrageous! feels like McCarthyism!)(in case readers don't know, McCarthy was a cold war era senator in the u.s. who persecuted anybody who he thought was a communist, often in violation of their rights)
11.Fortunately Shu Shu assumes role of City Chief and stands up for her. It also seems implied that Yue and Madame jing have some...sparks?
12.Back at the 'noble' sect the lords are all discussing the news. Ghost lord only has 1 of the 5 heavenly scrolls so the one he has is pretty useless. Sect leader starts giving out assignments: Yi Cai will support Shu Shu and gather intel (basically its to gather intel),
13.The person with the antidote for city guard...is Bi Yao's friend in the ghost sect?
14.Is Lord Dog going to hook up with Xia Hua (I think shu'shu's cousin?) Xiao Fan continues to show an open mind, infuriating Shu Shu. Xiao and Yue are supposed to investigate the scrolls?

9.Xue Qi continues to condemn the ghost sect but Xiao Fan is much more open minded, insisting that good and evil are human creations and that in the beginning there was no such thing (basically saying it is just a word invented by powerful people trying to control others...or to label things you fear, right?) Xiao Fan thinks good and evil can co-exist (like yin and yang)....Xue Qi doesn't seem to think so. She says she will kill him if he turns evil.
10.In spite of her friendship with Grandpa Wei, Jing Er (embroidery lady) is being denied. She is also being blamed for all the bad things in the world just because she comes from an 'evil sect' She is about to be banned (that is a bit outrageous! feels like McCarthyism!)(in case readers don't know, McCarthy was a cold war era senator in the u.s. who persecuted anybody who he thought was a communist, often in violation of their rights)
11.Fortunately Shu Shu assumes role of City Chief and stands up for her. It also seems implied that Yue and Madame jing have some...sparks?
12.Back at the 'noble' sect the lords are all discussing the news. Ghost lord only has 1 of the 5 heavenly scrolls so the one he has is pretty useless. Sect leader starts giving out assignments: Yi Cai will support Shu Shu and gather intel (basically its to gather intel),
13.The person with the antidote for city guard...is Bi Yao's friend in the ghost sect?
14.Is Lord Dog going to hook up with Xia Hua (I think shu'shu's cousin?) Xiao Fan continues to show an open mind, infuriating Shu Shu. Xiao and Yue are supposed to investigate the scrolls?

When we last left, Xue Qi, Shu Shu, and Jing Yue were united with Jing'er and crew. Bi Yao shared an extremely personal story of loss with Xiao Fan....
1.Xiao Fan comforts a crying Bi Yao before trying to open up the blood drop tomb with his magic wand. Together, he and Bi Yao open the tomb...
2.The door closes behind them.
3.Inside there are many ferocious looking statues that are supposed to represent the kings of heaven and hell. Bi Yao addresses them formally and requests an audience.She pleads her case: that her sect is weak and needs help. After she bows they walk through....
4.They see a glowing purple stone that read 'The heavens do not favor anything. let all things thrive on their own' looks like a magic rock..They also find the remains of elder Blackheart and Madame Jing
5.Bi Yao finds a golden bell inside of a box left by Madame Jing. She rinks it and all around them, the ruins start to reassemble..
6.The two get a full glimpse of what really happened in the cave. Many years ago Blackheart was at the end of his rope. He wanted to summon the Beast God but Madame Jing warned him he was too weak after fighting with an immortal and that the beast would kill him. After a heated argument, in which he says that the other sects will take advantage of them, she realizes that he loves power and not her. She leaves him. He summons the beast god, and as she said, it tries to kill him. But she returns, performs the spell of infatuation to seal it even though he tells her not to make such a sacrifice. As she dies she tells him she has no regrets....
7.Only when she is dead does Elderheart realize his love...he laughs at what has become of them. He also seals the place up and proclaims that whoever returns with the blood pearl, they must fulfill his wish (wouldn't that be Xiao?)
8.Back in the present, they learn that the magic wand has the pearl, which would make it a Li Xie sect treasure. it has also merged with Xiao Fan...who does not want to be in the evil sect...also, apparently the infatuation spell can only be learned by women...
9.Meanwhile, the second group eventually finds the entrance....
10.Bi Yao is trying to hold onto Xiao who is being pulled towards something. They don't know what is happening. Mr Ghost (who runs ahead, leaving group one locked out of the tomb) reveals that he is supposed to use Xiao Fan, per her father's orders, to resurrect the beast god!
11.Ghost Beast appears, he says he is happy with the sacrifice...meanwhile Bi Yao tries to save Xiao Fan...'
12.Second Group gets inside of the tomb. Can they save him? Can they stop the beast god from getting his sacrifice?

1.We open up to our group (Xue Qi, Xaio Fan, Ba Yao, and Jung Yue) fighting off bats the size of small houses. I want discuss the CGI (its bad) but it gives Xiao the opportunity to save Xue Qi (for all of those on that ship). The two of them plunge over a cliff while their worried friends call their names. Finally, the ones left behind try to use a grappling hook (so for everyone on the Ba Yao/Yue ship they look pretty close) to climb down to them
2.The set where Xue Qi & Xaio land is a stunning green screen (if anyone has ever played the video game Dark Souls 2, it reminds me of the Shrine of Amana meets FFX Farplane) where Xiao Fan hallucinates and sees the images of the family and friends he has lost. They turn scary, so he destroys these images....
3.He saves Xue Qi from being strangled by spirits, and she becomes conscious and helps him. Meanwhile, Yue, Bi Yao, and Shu Shu call for them with no luck. Ba Yao tells Shu Shu to stop calling for fear it will attract the wrong kind of attention. They decide to follow the road (and direction) of the giant bat monster that felled them....
4.Back to Xiao and Xue Qi. The latter explains that the spirits are vengeful ghosts, unable to let go of their attachments, they live beneath the ground. Xiao explains to Xue that he dreams of his dead friends and family here. Most people might offer comfort, but that is not her way. Instead she opens up a little. She tells Xiao that after 12 years of cultivation and being gifted with the Tianye sword, she never thought she would lose to Xiao (given his record, that is a reasonable conclusion)
5.(Perhaps she respects him as a man because he is stronger than her?) Meanwhile the others are at the same level as them but have not found them. Bi Yao clearly seems to be nervous (ghosts) but the others show no fear. Shu Shu summons a spirit bird to scout the area (I have lost count of all the mystical objects) Bi Yao sees her mother, beckoning her...Yue cuts the ghost and then explains the story about vengeful spirits
6.Shu Shu gives them some talismans and tells everyone to stick it to their forehead so the ghosts can't sense them. They may look silly but at least it is effective
7.Turns out one of the ghosts is Boss--he seizes control of Xiao and Xue. They might have died if their three friends didn't arrive...
8.Meanwhile, Jing'er and Xua Hue are talking to one of the officials (I can't remember his name, he wears red and is a bit judgmental). But the important thing is that the legend of Madame Jing comes up again (she came from Jing'er's sect). Again she tells the tale of Elder Blackheart and Madame Jing, two lovers who are eternally slumbering in this cave. Blackheart was a master in divination (telling the future) and Jing was a master in hallucinations, thus the place is filled with traps.
--If those revenge spirits are trapped in a place where two people died for love...then did they really die for love? are those two really dead??--
9.They come to a bunch of bubbles. Just as Bi Yao warns them not to touch, it could be a trap, Shu Shu touches. The bubbles reflect images back, but of what...?
10.Meanwhile, Jing Er, the official in red, and the guy who looks like the cliff master, journey after the students in the cave. Obviously more experienced, they set about tackling some of the traps. The bats, they burn...
11.Back to the students: the bubbles reflect precious memories (we can see that Xiao clearly values Bi Yao)(Xue Qi's best memories are of her shifu)(Shu Shu's include his grandfather and Xue Qi)(Jing Yue's seem to be childhood memories)(Bi Yao's are of her parents) It is not clear if everyone can see each other's memories--I don't think they can--it is like they are mesmerized. Bi Yao moves closer to her bubbles and plunges off the cliff (again!) and Xiao Fan falls after. They fall in each other's arms....
12.This is such a pretty area! Xiao Fan and Bi Yao emerge from the mist and are on the shore of a midnight ocean. There enemy (city guard guy) watches them smugly (they don't know he is there). Bi Yao explains that they are at 'Heartless Ocean' I guess named for unrequited love?
13.City guard guy manages to poison + incapacitate Xiao, grab Bi and is preparing to sacrifice her to get to the heavenly text below the ocean when a giant serpent appears. Xiao is injured in his efforts to save her while city guard guy hides, waiting for the right time
14.Apparently it is the infamous 'Black water Snake'. The two are able to get to the tomb because of Xiao's weapon (I really think he is the incarnated elderheart)
15.Meanwhile, Jing'er and her group comes across the mesmerized students staring at the bubbles. They dispel the trick and work out a plan to get to Xiao Fan and Bi Yao, confident that the two must be okay
16.(this is kind of funny) Bi Yao offers her body to Xiao but not in the way you think. She essentially says eat me, you can live longer, and he calls her crazy. She tells him the full story about how her mother died and she recounts how she actually had to eat her mother's blood/flesh to survive (OMG!) and then wait to be rescued while she rotted by her (PTSD!
--I imagine it is a really big deal for her to make herself this vulnerable. Xiao is the kind of guy who is nice enough not to judge, otherwise she wouldn't be in this is situation--
After all of those bad episodes our plot moves forward!

1.May I begin with focusing on how this episode highlights that no one, not even so called noble sect members, are above poor behavior when loved ones are on the line? Shu shu seems to ignore his teachings now that matters of the heart have taken over....(hypocrites...)
2.They can't call for re-enforcements without it becoming ww10....
3.Lord Dog fetches them to meet up with Master Gui and princess. We obtain a confirmation that everyone is indeed there for the thousand bat cave, that it holds many evil sect treasures, and that city guard has been looking for 5 years....
4.The plan: Ping'er, Ba Yao, and Mr. Ghost (master gui) will pretend to attack the city to lure attention away. The 4 will go through the secret passageway--they are told to save the old chief first (i bet he's important otherwise he would be dead)
5.Fighting rages up above, and we learn from Mr. Ghost that they are there to find the Heaven Book....
6.While using the cauldron, we learn what Xiao Fan's special ability is: absorption power (that must be why he could never really use magic...)
7.We learn that the cave entrance is hidden because there were so many fights over it--that Elder Blackheart, its creator, died down there in 'the name of love' with Madame jing to ensure it was hidden.....to open it would be like raining blood upon everyone again (how much you want to bet that Xiao Fan is the incarnation of blackheart?)
8.They decide to prioritize the big picture (with some grumbling) to stop the bad guy. But there are so many bats...

1.We open to Xiao Fan, Jing Yue, and Ba Yao discussing the latest string of events. She is educating them on poison and dispelling some of their ignorance about the group of people known as the 'evil sect'. It seems 170 years ago a disciple went to the marsh of death and returned with a book on poisons and a sword (they then began to rise in power). The sword is called severing yearning, and if cut by it, the poison stays in you for ever. This man is called the poison god. He has a 1000 poison pill with three subordinates:blood sucking old man, bai du zi, and his lead disciple Mr. Poison Qing Wu Yan
(Ohhh....so these people are the ones they've been fighting....)
2.They conclude that Jang Li (the city guard?) is Mr. Poison as he has been trying to get Ping'er out of the city.
3.They try to infiltrate where the embroidery girls are (of course they are caught)(there is a fight)
4.Clearly flirting with Xiao Huan...who was scared by him...leads to Xue Qi showing up. She becomes very confrontational, beats him up pretty bad....Ba Yao has to heal him....
5.The man from many, many episodes ago who wore the mask, it turns out, is a friend of the ghost king
6.They finally work out that the ultimate goal of the poison king is the entire reason that they are there--1000 bat cave--
7.(save me from self-righteous people...)so they take Xiao Huan to test something out. Xue Qi is incensed that they are doing as the ghost sect suggested and intervenes (her jealous fits are no longer cute) Luckily, everyone learns that they have in fact all been poisoned from a long time ago, so it actually works out
8.so now their goal is to control this poison bug left behind by the poison god (recall he left in defeat, abandoning his subordinates and people) the city guard calls them out in front of everyone, blaming both their arrival and the ghost sect for the epidemic. but shu shu points out that this illness was here before they arrived. still, the evil sect people make a show of leaving, maybe to save face? I don't know
9.The episode ends with the city guard holding grandpa hostage, telling them that if they leave the city, everything will be fine...

1.Ghost princes has knowledge of poisons; Yue asks her the relationship of the flower to the poisons. She explains that it is related to the God of Beasts. She also says she doesn't know what they are plotting--I guess she has a general knowledge of poisons? She shares that High Priestess Ling Long can control the God of Beasts. In fact, the 'evil sects' including ghost tribe use the god of beast for stuff so I guess that is why they suspected her....
2.Yue & Bi Yao look for Xiao Fan. They stop outside of a poison house. Guess we know who kidnapped him. She goes in (Meanwhile, Xiao fan is immune to their torture because of the hidden magic artifact on his body. they cannot even recognize the magic). He breaks free, though weak, and he escapes with Bi Yao.
3.Bi Yao heals Xiao fan. He thanks her. She learns from him his sects reaction to his new abilities. She scoffs at this, calling them outdated for labeling something evil just because they are unable to understand it.
4.ONE OFMY FAVE DRAMA DEVICES: while fending off their pursuers, Bi Yao loses her bracelet and becomes defenseless. Xiao Fan protects her, but the blast sends them careening off into an abyss of death (forcing them together for a period of time)...
5.After cradling Xiao Fan in her arms (pretty scene) and singing to him we see a house not far away, and a guy comes out. He seems to be a doctor. Identity? Cliff master

1.For reasons that we still do not know, ghost princess is here to look for the thousand bat cave like the 4 sect members. Princess lectures Lord Dog for his antics who begs her to let him stay
2.I am not sure if it is because of jealousy of close mindedness (maybe both) but Xue Qi and Yue both seem to think that Princess is responsible for stealing money and delaying the purification of the poison. Being proud, she essentially tells her go. Even though the thief is found, Xue Qi does not apologize....she just leaves....
3.Xiao Hua chases down a red dragonfly found initially at the residence of Ping'Er. It leads her somewhere, she is poisoned, and Lord Dog, who was following for revenge, rescues her, only now she is unconscious and in the custody of princess (more issues...)
4.Unsurprisingily, Xue Qi believes they poisoned her, tries to kill her, but Xiao Fan intervenes. Now they think that she poisoned her and are asking for the cure (I feel bad for Ba Lao. What did she do? they are fairly black and white in their thinking) After a heated discussion Ba Yao finally gives what may be a key antidote ingredient before storming off.
5.(I believe city guard) is the one plotting/planning behind everything. Ping'er may be involved. Yue later confronts Ping'er in the woods but she claims no knowledge of poisons and blames the dragonfly the girl was chasing....
6.Now the grandpa's poison is activated....
7.The city guard arrives it seems he is implicating Ping'er (i guess that is his plot?) but she is resisting. he has her arrested, and city leader (gramps) is sick...meanwhile Xiao Fan is trying to find the plant...Xiao Fan later overhears a conversation (the leader of Happy Sect?Poison Sect?who knows at this point) and is rendered unconscious...
2.I am not sure if it is because of jealousy of close mindedness (maybe both) but Xue Qi and Yue both seem to think that Princess is responsible for stealing money and delaying the purification of the poison. Being proud, she essentially tells her go. Even though the thief is found, Xue Qi does not apologize....she just leaves....
3.Xiao Hua chases down a red dragonfly found initially at the residence of Ping'Er. It leads her somewhere, she is poisoned, and Lord Dog, who was following for revenge, rescues her, only now she is unconscious and in the custody of princess (more issues...)
4.Unsurprisingily, Xue Qi believes they poisoned her, tries to kill her, but Xiao Fan intervenes. Now they think that she poisoned her and are asking for the cure (I feel bad for Ba Lao. What did she do? they are fairly black and white in their thinking) After a heated discussion Ba Yao finally gives what may be a key antidote ingredient before storming off.
5.(I believe city guard) is the one plotting/planning behind everything. Ping'er may be involved. Yue later confronts Ping'er in the woods but she claims no knowledge of poisons and blames the dragonfly the girl was chasing....
6.Now the grandpa's poison is activated....

1.Our story opens with a conversation between Xiao Fan and Xue Qi. We learn through them that someone was breeding poison flowers to make medicine and to poison others. (I missed this because I was skipping ahead) So Wan Du Sect's disciples died from the poison. It is believed they were experiments. Xue Qi apologizes for judging him as a fool (I bet she falls for him)
2.Shu Shu trades words with Ping'er who is able to dodge his words easily and Yue meets with Ba Yao, where he learns that at most she would have poisoned the weapon. however Yue suspects that the weapon is impacting his inner self, something that her sect cannot do (I personally think Yue is jealous and/or Xiao Fan is an incarnation of somebody)
3.Yue asks Ba Yao if she will put down the buther's knife and be a Buddha a.k.a. repent. She insists that her sect has done nothing wrong, that they are not evil, that they merely repay debt and satisfy revenge when needed. She accuses Yue and his kind of telling everyone what to do. She sees nothing wrong with living for herself but Yue cannot understand this. In the middle of his lecture she storms off (I would have fallen asleep, I confess)
4.In a poignant scene, Xiao Fan and Bi Yao have a chat. He explains that Yue is a lot like her, that just as she could only avenge her mother, he wants to avenge their village who was slain by the evil sect. He invites her to Shu Su's play
5.Meanwhile, Shu Shu and Xiao huan prepare to be in the play while a stoic Xue Qi and Yue watch on (LMAO) Xiao Fan is the only person growing in this series...
6.For reasons unknown Xiao Huan is kidnapped by Wild Dog of the evil sect (this guy always seems to be a villain) Nevermind, it was a plot, so Bi Yao could be in the play
7.Xuan Huan escapes using her wit (Wild Dog is also not the brightest bulb). The play turns out to be a romantic tragedy. Shu Shu incorporates wild dog and Xue qi into it out of necessity, and Xue Qi reminds Xiao Fan that if he keeps hanging onto his past he will be pulled into the demons of his heart (she should tell Jing Yue this)

1.Xuao Huan seeks out Xue Qi for lady advice--even though the latter makes it clear she is not the one to ask. Apparently this is part of the former's goal of building a case in defense of Ping'er--it seems six years ago she saved the lives of herself and her grandfather. Huan then compares Xue Qi to Ping'er and says her eyes are full of sadness, therefore they are similar...
2.Apparently Yudu City is popular with many sects, and ghost princess is warned by her servant to be careful because of this (are the ghost people bad?)
3.We learn that ghost princess is there in order to build an alliance with Ping'er, based on old friendships, but she does not want to
4.Lord Jin (or is it Jia) is reunited with Ding, and is very in love while Xiao Fan continues, to no avail , tries to get back his artifact from the princess.
5.Now that the 4 are united, they have some issues to consider: the river pollution problem, the Million Poison Sect, the issue with Ping'er, the problem of the demon girl a.k.a. ghost princess, Xiao Fan's missing item. They solve the pollution issue quickly thanks to Xue Qi...

1.Alright so a veiled girl (clearly ghost princess) steals Xiao Fan's magic artifact. Shu shu chases down the wrong girl, turns out to be some girl named Xiao Huan.
2.Xiao Fan is still in love with Lin Er (he dreams about her!)
3.Xiao Fan finds the girl-Ba Yao- who took his artifact but she is not going to give it back easily..
4.Meanwhile we learn that the land is polluted and city leader (?) is trying to fix it by blowing away the soil however Xiao Fan points out this is bad because it will just pollute the water downstream...
5.The episode ends with Xiao Fan wondering if the demon sect is connected to the embroider shop because Ba Yao came out of it

1.After leaving the manor, the two men arrive in the city. Here they witness a scene: a young man from a heavenly sect is in the streets yelling at an unseen silk master, a woman named 'Ping'Er' whom he accuses of ruining his fiancée's wedding gown. Shu Shu gets involved in spite of Xiao Fan's warning not to. He even gives away their identity (what sect they are from). She uses silk threads to bind all three of them without even seeing them (I like her). They manage to escape and we learn that when this guy was a kid, he was ugly, he became a martial arts disciple however before leaving his friend 'Ding Ding' (yup) and him made a promise to marry. Now that he is back, Ping'Er (I bet this is Ding Ding all grown up) refuses to let him see her (I guess he is also good looking now)
2.OMG....so Shu Shu comes up with the brilliant idea that they disguise him as Mr. Jia, a merchant, and his disguise consists of a mustache and purple robes (a toddler could see through this disguise). Meanwhile Shu Shu and Xiao Fan act like thugs to stage a scene where Jia can save the day and gain Ping'er's trust....
3.Well, she sees through this sham. They are arrested. Thrown in jail. Rescued by Shu Shu's grandfather who is a noble...
4.Meanwhile, Xue Qi and Yue are doing their job and looking for the cave. They check out the location and find nothing. She wonders if the intel is wrong but Yue reminds her demons are cunning...
5.We go to Qi (the spy) and Lin Er. They are having a kind of innocent romantic scene. He promises to take her when he leaves the mountain....(I wonder where? ghost kingdom? you should tell the truth and beg forgiveness!)
6.We go to Tian, who is worrying about Xiao Fan. It seems he really thinks of him like a son.
7.It seems Shu Shu's grandpa wants him to compete to be a city leader but Shu Shu doesn't want to (he probably wants him to settle down and pop out a few grand kids). But benefits of being city leader include having access to spiritual vessels and rare plants...hmm....not a bad deal...
8.We learn that the current city leader has been moving people from medicinal areas because of so called ghost sightings (uh huh....this show is now adding random filler)
9.Ok fine it is a blood sucking monster (recall Qi is that) but still, this plot is moving so slowly now!
