I honestly wanted to support this for Saint’s debut as producer with no expectations since I don’t know the book. This is a series where much of the public behavior of the main character, Toh, mirrors what he feels on the inside. AWKWARD! And I don’t find his obsessive behavior enjoyable. I get a feeling of childishness rather than humor. The friend group he has is very bonded but their scenes together are to the point of being just too much for me. I actually give the acting a higher mark because I cannot imagine the energy needed to keep up with the over the top physical ‘comedy’ and cheesiness of this series. There is a gl couple here which is great. One half of this couple is played by Becky who was Thanya in TharnType 2. I also am pretty interested in the development of the side couple Sky and Jao. However, I’m three episodes in and I really don’t know if I will be able to stand this to the end. Right now, I’m here for Fon (Becky), Sky and Jao. Even Saint’s scenes can’t save this for me.
