plot involving the paintings/his past wasn't strong enough to carry the drama, they added additional childhood connections that were unnecessary and unbelievable. And the owner of the gallery was vile but flat as cardboard. Watch it for the romance/heat/chemistry, not for the actual storyline.

I really disliked this drama. It started off good and had great potential but then just nose-dived. There are basically three plots, one for each girl. The main girl's plot was mostly cute, but eventually it dragged on and devolved into her undermining the guy's masculinity and refusing to understand how he might feel that way. One friend has a decent storyline/romance involving her fear of commitment. The last girl has a horrible, long, drawn-out plot involving her cheating husband and his pregnant mistress and it was just torturous and gross! It was infuriating to watch her cling to the relationship for so long, even allowing the mistress to live with them. I will say the ending of her storyline was the most satisfying but it took much too long to get there. Basically the drama was too long and so they stretched out to romance problems which killed the story. Fabulous 30 had a similar story with 3 girls, 76 episodes instead of 13, and did it a thousand times better. Was this review helpful to you?

Starts off good but gets Anticlimactic
I really enjoyed the first half of this drama. The love square of Qian Ling liking Gu Xun while he likes her online persona was excellent. I loved that he was inadvertently sabotaging their potential relationship by giving the online Qian Ling bad advice for pursuing her real-life crush, and thereby creating his own monster when her antics annoyed him. He was a bit harsh to her but I loved that he was making his own bed and when the karma hit him, it was glorious. But things started to drag as he attempted to win her forgiveness - too much PPL and not enough sincerity. The confession and kiss scenes were anticlimactic and the final few episodes felt rushed. Was this review helpful to you?
Good chemistry, draggy story
This is one of those dramas that loses a lot of tension/momentum once the main couple get together. But even before then, I had started skipping all the scenes with just the SML moping or plotting by himself. And the evil cousin/aunt moping/plotting. And the jealous work partner moping/plotting. I did think the secondary couple were kind of cute but nothing too exciting. Was this review helpful to you?

Good but too long, side plots are draggy
This drama got a lot better once I started fast-forwarding through everything that didn't have the main couple on the screen. Their chemistry and romance was great, though it would have been nice to have more kisses. But the sister with the cheating husband, and the irresponsible brother and mafia girlfriend were too annoying (sorry Puff!). And I couldn't believe the way the entire family enabled the grandmother with her lies and then brushed it off when it *finally* came out.Was this review helpful to you?
Too much serial killer, not enough chemistry to make it worth it
I almost never drop a drama but after realizing I was actively avoiding watching this drama I decided it was time to quit. Some dramas, I can fast-forward through the elements I am not enjoying, and the chemistry of the main couple make it worthwhile (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon for example). But this one, if I fast-forwarded, there would be nothing left. Makes me sad as I love the main actors but I'm just not buying the romance and it doesn't make it worth putting up with a serial killer who's always two steps ahead. Was this review helpful to you?
