Simple yet refreshing humor
I've seen ByungJae mostly on Korean variety shows and he seems mostly quiet and emotionless. It was just recently that I've seen he has a stand-up comedy special with Netflix and I was really curious to see his act and I could say that his humor matches mine. In comparison to common stand-up comedy specials I've watched, ByungJae's style is unique. Here are the top things you can expect from this comedy special:
- His way of trying to explain almost everything (Western stand-up comedians are usually unapologetic they just say things unannounced but given the Korean culture, I love that he tried his best not to offend anyone while still giving a good laugh.)
- The cunningly innocent delivery of jokes. This is what mostly got me. He looks like an innocent child delivering daring jokes that would sometime raise eyebrows and the way he addressed 'hate comments'
I personally recommend this for those people who just wants to relax and have a good time.
