A beautiful wrap up of the games

I love how this series ended the way it did. Season 2 had much more meaning than the first one. Here, we've got to see more about the other characters and not just the main ones. Their reason for living, what life they had before the games, it's all revealed in here.

The longer I watch the series, the better I like it. The chemistry of the characters is also worth-praising. Instead of the brutal deaths, I love how the characters gained depth during this second season. It was very well worth it.

Although I enjoyed the first season a little less, I still recommend watching from the start to see the journey they've been through from the beginning. It's really fun to see them grow and struggle together between life and death.

The game will commence in 3... 2... 1...

The story itself is interesting. I can't help but find myself wanting to see the next episode to see what happens next. I rarely watch Japanese drama but I'm glad that whenever I watch one I am satisfied with the story overall. It's obvious that there's a second season and I'll definitely watch it to see what will happen to the characters.

This series very well reminded me of Squid Game where you lose means you die. And I honestly don't like graphic deaths and blood so I usually skip those part but if you like bloody scenes, this one's definitely for you.

Overall, I enjoyed watching this series and I think you will too. There were pretty good twists here and there that will keep you on the edge of your seats so look forward to it.

Typical hospital drama with a supernatural twist

I was excited to watch this drama because the idea of a doctor being possessed by another doctor that is in coma is pretty interesting however I got disappointed at some several points like how late SeungTak became a good doctor himself. He relied too much on the ghost doctor which is a bit off for me. Very little to no touching scenes which I usually look for in hospital dramas where life and death exists. It's a pretty decent story, not just my cup of tea.

The actors were pretty good themselves although I feel like Rain overpowers Kim Bum most of the time so I don't feel much bromance between them. Dong Il of course as a veteran actor pulled it off perfectly. One of my favorite Ahjussis in KDrama world.

Overall, I enjoyed the journey of watching this series. It felt a little short in getting me emotionally involved but still it made me laugh a couple of times. Still a recommended watch.

More than just a romance

I really love how the plot was written. It is predictable, simple, sometimes boring but I love how the writer tried to use relatable emotions to make the story a great piece of art. I love how this series captured adulting life, the traumas, relationship with parents, friends and lover, the decisions we make everyday that makes us mature a little each day. I love the portrayal of that through this series.

Of course, who wouldn't love the casts? Their chemistry are top-notch. DaMi and WooShik look great together on-cam. I feel butterflies in my stomach whenever they are on a lovey-dovey mode. Matched up with the superb OST songs. It was all perfect.

I really recommend this series if you're someone who's just looking for a light-hearted story with minor tear-jerking scenes. You'll definitely fall in love with this series.

Meaningless horror

Please note I am not a horror fan before reading this review. This is solely my opinion regarding this series. First of, I didn't understand anything at all about what's happening. Sadly there were no answers to whats and whys on this series. They were purely just scenarios that were unexplained and it does seem like an urban legend. However, I didn't feel anything relatable about this series. I do applaud the casts though as they made an awesome delivery of the scenes. It's just that the writing didn't makes sense.

If you're a horror fan you might wanna try watching it. But for a non-horror fan, save your time and watch something else.

Interesting cases, psychopaths, mind games, only if the writing was better, it could've been a hit

I haven't watched the American version of this from which it was re-made from so this show is my only reference and I can say that I was pretty disappointed about how this show turned out. The cases are interesting however the way that the story was constructed was way too bland and cliche.

There were episodes that caught my emotions and I was really shocked when they took the route where 'someone dies' which I thought wouldn't however that just what it is. Even the main characters lacks depth on their characters and is more on one-dimensional. It felt like I was watching them 20x on repeat with just a slightly different scenario.

It was normal that most criminals especially serial killers have a turbulent childhood which led them to become a-not-so-good citizen however the characterization of the suspects here can be misunderstood as people having turbulent childhood or those who experience mental health issues are harmful and dangerous people which is not really the case. A lot of people who has mental health problems and experienced abuse are good law abiding people.

As someone who watched tons of crime, serial killing, law dramas, this drama is way below the standards. I still do commend the casts though. I love the Lee JoonGi is here also Lee SunBin. And all the other casts. I just didn't like how the whole story was written. There were no thrill or suspense and the ending is also meh. I invested 20 hours to watch this and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it.

Light-hearted action-comedy 'secret agent' movie

This film officially enters my favorite Korean movie list. I love the overall plot of the story wherein along the way a misunderstanding happen but both main leads overcome it together. I wasn't expecting the twists that are presented throughout the movie and you should watch out for them too. There were subtle clues about it from the start but I didn't think much about it until it surprise me. I don't want to spoil anything so you should watch to know.

I watched it mainly because of Lee SunBin but then I am surprised that Kim YoungKwang is the main lead here so I got a one plus one bonus. Their chemistry is honestly good (I'm sorry KwangSoo but for a moment I thought YoungKwang and SunBin looks good together too.) Their bickering doesn't feel off at all. It was so natural that I feel like they've been working together for years. That's some real partnership in there. Specially this is like 'secret agent' / 'spy' movie so the smooth chemistry of the main lead made the movie better overall.

One of the selling point of this movie for me is the overall flow of the story, even though it's below 2hrs they were able to add depth on the story which makes it more interesting to watch. We've seen a bit of the male lead's life so if there will be a sequel, I hope that we get to know more about the female lead. The comedic relief on the movie is also subtle but still a big factor in setting the tone of the movie to being light-hearted contrary to the too serious issue at hand which is the firearm smuggling.

I really recommend it for a weekend/rest day watch. It's light-hearted, funny, cute and intense at the same time. I hope you emjoy this movie as much as I did.

Unique plot involving vampires with a historical twist with a pretty much let down characters

This has been certainly a series that I unexpectedly love and hate at the same time. The concept of the plot is definitely intriguing — the coexistence of humans and vampire, the history of how it started, the reincarnation, etc. There was definitely a lot going on for this 12-episode series.

One issue for me though is that both lead characters annoys the hell out of me while watching the series. Don't get me wrong though, I am pertaining to the fictional character themselves and NOT the actors. The acting of the cast was quite decent for me although I really felt that Lee JongHyun had the most impact. My problem with the lead characters is that I felt like they were poorly written.

ML hates vampires for illogical reason. I felt like he was being immature with no enough reason to. He was a smart guy but most of the time he just looks like an idiot to me. His ridiculous hatred actually caused most of the problems in this series.

FL on the other hand kept being naive and keep coming back to the ML who does nothing but hurt her feelings and is being asshole because of his inexplicable hatred towards vampire.

It was a whole headache. I almost dropped this halfway but I didn't because this is my second time watching it after more than 5 years. I probably liked this more when I was a bit younger. Stupid puppy love that doesn't make sense excites me before but now I've become picky and unrealistic stories makes me cringe.

I love the OST eversince I've first heard it few years ago. If you're an enthusiast of unique plots, I recommend this.

Series with no exaggerated plot, just plain pure genuine emotions

Initially, I wasn't interested about this because who cares about an athlete who suddenly have to go to prison at the peak of his career? However I have seen a lot of blogs and reviews about this series which made me wonder what's with this series that almost everyone love it and I can proudly say, watching this series is one of the best decisions I have made this year. It's definitely worth it. Every episode is so worth it.

What made me love this series so much is that it's not perfect. There were things I wished I've seen here but didn't and that's what made it better. Fangirl alert. Spoiler alert too. (I'm telling everything I feel about this drama from plot to characters and everything)

So these are the things that left a remarkable memory in my heart and brain that I would love to share to everyone:
- Lieutenant Paeng's character stood out the most for me. He was the most unexpected and well-written character in this series. I've seen Jung Woong-In in a lot of dramas and he's always the psychopath villain but in this series, his character is so much deeper than what he appears to be. (This series casted a lot of people who had strong first impression and mostly worked as villains which probably why the storyline worked well. From the start to end, this series reminded me that "It's not always what you imagined.")
- Most of the support characters are scene stealers. I know JeHyeok (Park HaeSoo) is the main lead. He had an interesting character and personality however a lot of characters really stole the spotlight. One of the scene stealer (which most would probably agree) is HanYang. He's the cute asshole whom you won't think or imagine would ruin his life for drugs. He really set the mood for most of the series. He made me laugh, hope, love, hate, cry and all sorts of emotions. Lee KyuHyung's versatility really helped in making HanYang's character come into life.
- There's a diverse relationship and connection among the characters. JeHyeok and JoonHo's unrivaled friendship that withstand even the strongest adversities. MinChul and Jean Valjean's father and son relationship with a pinch of betrayal and redemption. KAIST and HanYang's tease and punch relationship. JungWoo and HanYang, the preschool brothers. Lieutenant Paeng and Lee JoonHo's love-hate relationship. JeHyeok and Jailbird's brotherly love. JeHyeok and Crony's unbelievable shift of relationship from killing each other to caring for each other. The unexpected but cute HanYang and JiWon's relationship. And there's a lot more I probably couldn't mention. Just watch it and you'll see what I mean.
- The references made on Hospital Playlist. (I watched Hospital Playlist before I watched Prison Playbook and at the time when I was watching Hospital Playlist I didn't know the references. But now that I know. I can't help but feel so happy and ecstatic) There were lots of things that feels similar and also feels like a crossover in a parallel world or something. KyungHo dating his bestfriend's younger sister again in HP. KyuHyung's cameo as an owner of a Pharmacy (in relation to drug addiction from PP) and dating a college friend. Song JiWon from PP is Ahn ChiHong in HP. It was a great treat since I loved both series dearly.

There were definitely a lot more to expect and there were also a lot of things that I am curious about this series but I guess I'll leave it to my . I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed and loved this series. It's a really job well done for all the staff that made this series happen.

Reminds me of the Pirates of Carribean but this is a funnier version

It was a hilarious adventure movie that is good to watch with the family. There's nothing too different about the plot however the chemistry of the casts made it a fun movie to watch. I love how they interact with each other despite bickering and such, they got each others back. I also love the action scenes while they were fighting the see or swords fighting.

Han HyoJoo portrayed the balance of a dependable captain. Kang HaNeul as a good leader and fighter. Lee KwangSoo as the same icon of betrayal from Running Man. Of course, the quiet but cool archer and fighter, SeHun. Love the casts really~

I recommend this movie for a family night if you just want to relax and laugh with your family.

Much more daring sequel for Yoo ByungJae: TMI

I love how he kind of upgraded from his previous act. He's more unapologetic on this one and I love the sarcasm. He did include a lot of sensitive topics that could possibly trigger a lot of sensitive people but truth be told. Haters gonna hate. I love the added humor from D-Box (Discomfort Box) trying to call him out for feedback regarding the topic he's talking about and how he responded to it. At the end of the day, whatever he say or do someone will say something anyway so it's good that he embraced it instead and made it into this show that made a lot of people laugh.

More than just a medical drama - life, death, happiness, sorrow, love, friendship and more

I'm glad I have finally watched this drama. I was hesitant at first because there are 2 seasons for this drama and I haven't watched medical dramas for a while now. I feel like it's too long however I didn't regret that I invested watching this. At the time of writing, I haven't watched Hospital Playlist 2 yet and I am excited on what kind of memories and experiences will the professors, residents, interns and patients will encounter. The 1st season ended with a lot of cliffhangers.

There are lots of things that I love about this drama. Let me start with the storyline. First of, the story isn't as complicated as most medical dramas. You've get pieces of stories from here and there which will help you see that beautiful image it is trying to create. I love how the writers try to make you feel like you know what will happen but then surprise you with something unexpected. And the best part is it surpasses your expectations everytime. Well played really.

Next thing I love is the characters. There's a LOOOOOT of characters in this drama from the medical staff, patients, and other characters coming in and out every episode. It's really hard to memorize their names however I definitely remember their stories. I was expecting that some of the characters will have shallow stories but I was wrong. Most of the characters have depths of their own and even the patients which is why I think this drama is very emotional. It will definitely make you laugh and cry while watching it. It personally made me reflect about my life and all the emotions I have. The friendship of Mido and Falasol was very dreamy but is definitely the kind of friendship you should experience at least once in your life. One of the charms of this drama is the realistic storyline that is very relatable and since the writer also made sure you know most of the characters, it's easier to understand why they did this, what made them to do that. In short, you understand where the characters are coming from. Super amazing for the casts to really portray their characters and the chemistry among themselves. I can say that the story was given the right justice thanks to the great acting of the casts.

Last but not the least, who would've easily forget the OSTs in this drama. There's just so much feels. I am not sure if the songs were from the late 90's or early 2000's and for sure for Koreans it must've felt nostalgic watching the show and hearing those songs. For me though, it made me really emotional a lot of times. I searched the songs right away and was even singing it along with them while I repeat their band scenes.

I highly recommend this drama. Overall, aside from the tearful scenes I have seen, it's a very feel good drama. I felt like this actually have a healing effect on me. Please do watch this if you have the time.

Started of great until it eventually faded

First of all I seriously don't understand why is there a movie series for Whispering Corridors. So far this is the 3rd movie and it still doesn't make sense. Pardon me if I don't get this kind of movie, I might be ignorant about this type of movies so it confuses the hell out of me.

The way the story is introduced is clear - how they have shown the relationship between the leads, what caused the conflict. Up until there I was able to follow and even find it interesting. But after that I just totally get lost. I understand that there will be some sort of revenge but I totally didn't understand why was it executed that way. I didn't get the logic at all as to why this person become involved, why was she doing it, why are things happening, what am I watching? I was hoping it will get clearer towards the end but just like the precedent movies, it just confused me more.

I was happy though to see Song JiHyo's debut movie though. I understand how eye-catching she is in this movie. I am a big Song JiHyo fan and she's the only reason why I started watching the Whispering Corridors movies. Story-wise I still don't get why it's one of the longest running movie series but I am hopeful that it will get better on the next movies.

I personally didn't like it but if you loved the first 2 Whispering Corridors movies or you liked this type of supernatural horror thriller, this might be for you. Also, if you love JiHyo Eonnie like I do, please watch this. She's so cute and lovely on this movie.

To save the majority, just how heartless do you think you need to be?

Out of all the zombie movies/series I have watched, this has the most substance. It is way more than just the thrill. The messages conveyed in this movie can touch you in ways, you never expected. That's exactly the case for me. And I really love this series.

I have mentioned on most of my reviews on titles related to zombie that I am not really a fan of zombie stuff because most of the time, you know what's the most possible ending, everyone will die. So I am always looking for something that will catch my interest and sustain my attention until the end. All Of Us Are Dead did just that. Having the Ground Zero set at a school is something I haven't seen before. The reason/motivation on how it started is also unique than most vague movies wherein it just started somehow without definite explanation. Every deaths on this movie made me feel various emotions from being melancholic to feeling 'he/she deserve it.' It was more than just becoming zombies. I love how the story focuses on the characters who wanted to survive, how they lost their love ones, how they lost each other, how they rely on each other, how the situation made them grow. The pain, the sadness, the happiness. It delivers a spectrum of emotions I never imagined on a zombie show. There were also parts that are actually light and fun that somehow lightens the mood of the whole series.

Great selection of casts really. The way they deliver their individual characters made the story much more believable and colorful. Most of the times shows that has a lot of characters ended up just blending in together however on this one, all the characters was able to make themselves shine in their own ways. It really felt like a group of students who are friends that has common and also individual identity that separates them from the others.

Honestly, although it left me with a lot of questions and imaginations, I love that the ending was open-ended. It kind of makes me hope that Season 2 is possible. If another season is given for this show, I'll definitely re-watch it. I have enjoyed every single scene of the show and would definitely love to re-live the moments with the casts again.

It's shorter than most movies however it's actually better than most K Movies I have seen.

I happened to discover this web drama while I'm trying to look for the next thing to watch and I'm glad I did. I am a big fan of dramas that is related to DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) or Multiple Personality Disorder. It's a subject that really interests me.

This is a just short web drama that has very few casts but I really loved it. The plot is intriguing and the character portrayal is superb specially for the female lead who portrays different identities. To be honest even without the color switching, I would still recognize if the alter suddenly changed.

To dive deeper, this web drama doesn't have a single plot that they are following. Each episode has an idea of it's own however they do share a linear timeline. The first episode made sense for the rest of the episodes. Of there's just a minor setback for me, it's the fact that the DID case on this one is not as realistic as other shows I have watched. Throughout the series there were times wherein the alters shared a part of a memory of a different alter. Real DID patients have separate memories. It also mentioned that her sister made the personalities. In reality, you won't be able to control what kind of alters you'll have.

Technicalities aside, it was fun watching and is definitely a bite-size kind of drama. So I recommend this to be watched during breaks or while waiting on something.
