Hello, my fellow drama lovers! Good to see you in my profile. Here is some information about my drama taste:
Although I have watched some dramas when I was a teenager ( Queen Seon Duk and Jewel in the Palace ) , I have been continuously watching dramas for two years exactly.
My Rating System :
10-MASTERPIECE and closest to my soul
9-9.5-Close to masterpiece, absolute favorite
8-8.5-Great but has minor issues
7-7.5-Enjoyable with some drawbacks
6-6.5-Disappointments, still considered okay
5-Meh
<4- I hate this (I usually don't give less than 5 stars)
The way I rate drama is a bit complicated. Basically, I look for 10 characteristics in drama and rate them from 1 to 3 (1=bad, 2=average, 3=good). The characteristics are:
Synopsis (or idea of the story, as well as the beginning)
Story progression (how the idea is executed)
Conclusion (the general wrap-up)
Production
Soundtrack (OSTs and endings)
Characterization (character motivation and development)
Character likeability
Enjoyment
Logic ( not having plot holes and such)
Final impression drama had on me
My "dropped" drama means that it was not my cup of tea or I watched it a long time ago and didn't continue or some reason. Dropped doesn't necessarily mean it is bad.
My favorite genres are: Science-fiction/fantasy/supernatural Romace/comedy/BL Action/thriller/historical
