The way the story is told is very calm, but the things that happen in this movie make you feel somewhat anxious. There are also a few good plot twists in it.
The movie tells about an attempt to meet the expectations that are placed on people. These expectations are set by society, but we also impose them on ourselves. Nanami is lonely but she doesn't want to show it to others, so she lies about the reason she left her job and hires actors to pretend to be her family. Mashiro doesn't want to die alone, so she hires someone to die with her. But he doesn't reveal it. He pretends everything is fine. Amuro is professionally involved in faking certain aspects of other people's lives. His intentions, however, are not directly shown in the film. We can try to interpret them ourselves.
Amuro does not reveal the true intentions of her clients to the people he hires. It does not matter to him whether the victim of his false situations is someone he knows. It only seems that he cares about the money.
I love this movie.
