Rourou This episode focused on My hateful hero's relationship with Shunji, we get to see some flashbacks about their past relationship and how they became so close, we saw those sweet friendship moments in order to conclude that their relationship will be super messed up starting from this episode, Shunji have defenetly turned evil specially after my hateful hero arrested Kimura Taro and from now on he will be Gaksital's biggest problem, he even decided to join Koshokai in order to hunt him down.
Side notes :
1)Goiso is going to create trouble from now on, he began to question my hateful hero's alibi and trying to mess with him.
2)The scene where Abe and President Jo were running and the Joeson people were chasing them was super funny :D plus it was cool to see the Joeson people greet my hateful hero as Gaksital while they hate him in real life, contradictory but good.
3)Mok Dan and Gaksital found a place where they will be meeting starting from the next episode.
4)RaRa (The japanese girl) began her moves, she will have a big influence in the future.
5)One more thing, my hateful hero's Bingo with the wink was so awesome in this episode!
Next episode is going to hold many events that seem to be exciting regarding Mok Dan and Shunji's relationships with my hateful hero.
I really have to point that Joo Won's acting is amazing !

Minzys_back Omo, the scriptwriter and the actors playing patients really deserve a huge round of applause ! This ep was amazing, we don't have time to breathe between the couple with the twins, the husband and in-laws who rather fight and scold her while she's dying than consent to remove her uterus and allow her to live.
I don't forget the doctors which are kind of driving me crazy : Sang Shik has already fallen for Hae Young-ah, Ice man begins to show something other than coldness and tension.

fireflower This episode did not have one dull moment! It was so interesting, that it didn't even seem like an hour long show.
*The highlights of this episode were the cute moment between Ji An and Tae Kang, in the park where they almost kissed.
*Jin An's mother came over, and there was a really touching daughter-moment. I got a little teary, and Jin An seemed more motherly than ever before.
*Jin An agreed to let Eun Sung become his doctor, and there was an extremely awkward question and answer session between the two. And how can we ever forget Eun Sung's "boob" demonstration? LMAO!! I'm waiting to see a GIF of this made!!
*There was even a really sweet moment between the vice president and Tae Kang. VP broke her heels, and Tae Kang gave his shoes to her so her feet wouldn't get hurt. Cute!
*Oh, and perhaps the most funniest part. Tae Kang dressing as a woman so he could learn why women wear heels. That scene was priceless!! And he pulled it off perfectly!~
*Eun Sung's doctor friend cut his hair! He looks a lot younger.
Overall, this has got to be the most funniest and best episode so far! As always, it ended in a cliff hanger. Now, Eun Sung knows that Tae Kyung is the father!

manicmuse Almost every character annoyed me or pissed me off during this episode. I know that that's the point, but it's the kind of drama that frustrates me the most. There are too many near misses, too many hidden thoughts & feelings, and too much backstabbing for my liking. I guess the point is to feel bad for Gong Chan, but I wanted him to leave everyone and go start a new life in another drama. grandpa, his ex, his bff, and his missing love are all complete jerks. not one moment made me smile, i scowled the whole time.
i guess it has to get bad before it gets better, but i did not enjoy this episode.

anicheung Like most TVB series, the first few episodes are typically winners, and so even though I thought the first episode deserved an outstanding score, I give it a simple "Very Good" as a probational warning. TVB brews up some good series every so often, and I believe that if the writers stick to the standard Hong Kong formula instead of trying imitate other trendy obsessions (K-drama or American series) then they can turn out some pretty awesome story lines. I have hopes that Tiger Cubs can remain in a good direction even if we've already developed the typical cliched fore-running character types.
Him Law is already on my warning list because his character is based on my most despised character type: the hot-headed newbie who thinks he's a superstar big-shot just because he's probably done a few rewarding things since the beginning of his career. The standard development would be seeing him drilled into tamed complacency and become a "team-player", no doubt, by the strict, stone-faced expert team leader, played by Joe Ma. Coming to Joe Ma, his character is once again carbon-copy stock for his typical roles: the cool, level-headed, stick-in-the-mud SDU team leader who's life is currently perfect until he hits a nice big expositional bump in his relationship and his career; and thus, things will spiral out of control from there.
Add into the mix, a woman officer with a dark past (as dark as having your innocent fiance blown up in some criminal activity outside of anyone's control but the perpetrator's); Jessica Hsuan sports the detective team leader who seems weary of life, and simply goes through her daily work adamant about catching all the criminals. I'm hoping to see more of Jessica because she's an excellent actress, but her character doesn't seem to be standing out very well in this first episode. We'll give it time since she hasn't been on the drama forefront much lately.
Overall, this was a good first episode for Tiger Cubs, full of action, intensity, with a quick sneak peak into the human dynamics and personal vendettas and relationships of each of our main characters. At an hour and 30 minutes, this is longer than what I'm used to for a TVB series episode, however at 13 episodes, this is typically shorter than most TVB series. Maybe a change of format will welcome some new insights as well and we'll be well on our way to a good direction for Tiger Cubs.
On a side note, Kenneth Ma made an excellent cameo appearance as the first case's crime villain. Given the right roles and the right directing, this guy can settle into character really well without those flat line bumps that he sometimes gets in his acting at certain moments during a story.
So here's given a good score for the first impression of this series, but also hoping that the general direction doesn't get over-looked for more ratings grabbing cliched twists.

HA like Momoko would know a French girl! Otomo probably just helped her because he likes her ;). This episode had S&M, gay love and the revelation that Momoko's a rich kid; ie: awesome.

Seems pretty interesting. She's a bit of a ditz, Otoma's kind of hot and her working as a funeral director is different. Looking forward to the next episode.

PrettyBrown_Eyes this is getting so good now! Usually would lose its spark but damn I'm getting more and more hooked!! This is the exact reason I love masked heroes...they are so DAMN HOOOOT!
I loved the flashback scene was really nice to know why Kang To became an Imperial Officer and how he and Shunji became best friends. I liked him a little more then but my dislike for him resurfaced and grew after that scene. Wish he make his mind up! One minute he's bast pals with Kang To then another minute he's sending him death glares!
kang To arrested your evil father because he was following orders...so now you declare war on him!? Come on!!! Still his acting isnt as bad as his ears which take up the whole screen!

Especially with Inuzuka and Jiro trapped inside that storage room.. I was completely shaking. ._.
The acting is really incredible in this. And I'm still amazed by the dogs. Wow.

The dogs are definitely the stars of this by the way. They are incredible. I don't like how they're locked into those tiny little cages, though. :(
But seriously, are ALL of those many people in uniforms going with them? I thought they are supposed to be less members of the expedition. Or did they get off?

NewKDramaAddict Reason for skipping was the story was becoming uninteresting! Everyone after Gyung Joon makes for an uninteresting story. I agree about the marriage, not sure why but it could be because I did not watch all of the episodes but reading what others that had, they are as confused as me so I guess I did not miss anything. You will have to make your own conclusion after watching this.
