Love Rain Episode 1

Great first episode!

It was a lovely episode, filled with cute and romantic moments. Set in the 1970s, we could catch a glimpse of how people in Seoul were living during that time (the fashion, the popularity of radio, students' life, but also some details such as police controlling the length of girls' skirts and cutting the boys' long hair). I like the colours in this drama :) Also, one little detail - a yellow diary and a yellow umbrella, will it be their colour? :)

However, I must say it was really painful for me to watch two people that obviously like each other, but decide to keep quiet about it, because of other people. And I guess confessing was more difficult 40 years ago...

Intense

So the married couple is still married. However, they spent most of this episode apart as they had more screen time with potential romantic interests. Who the heck would say no to Kim Min Joon? I would want him to stalk me too! The ending of this episode was Woa! More betrayal and intensity awaits...

Don't Be Turned Off

It doesn't grab you but i dont think its meant to. You are basically being introduced to the characters and given a short background of the married couple.

Un-expected and Beautiful!

Another great episode of Maou.. This show, I have just fallen completely in love with it. Watching Kagi no kakatta heya, that was the first time I had ever seen Ohno Satoshi in a non arashi drama as the main character.. His character here is so awesome. I feel bad for him at the same time as I am partially rooting for him. Naruse Ryo is definately an unforgettable character once you start watching the show.

Shiori is also a pretty cute character..

How could this happen, While I am watching Maou I feel my heart jumping out of my chest everytime I see Ohno.. Why are all amazing dramas this short?..

And I can't get the shows theme song, Truth by arashi out of my head.. Ohno was now officially added to my list of fave actors..

*Sigh*

I'm starting to see a pattern with this drama and me.

Usually for the first part of the episode, I'm so bored it's nearly physically impossible to keep my eyes open. Nearly. But I persevere because if I succumb to my sleep urges, I'll have to replay the whole episode in case I missed something important and that's not happening. But as soon as the last 20-15 minutes of the episode start happening my sleep fog lifts and I'm interested in the episode and then it's over. Then, I watch the episode after because of the cliffhanger of the previous one and then it happens all over again. But I have to say, I just watched ep. 7 and that high school case has got to be the most boring ever, until the Hyun Woo arrives at the school and they start backtracking and the word "homicide" came up. lol

Eh?

So this episode didn't clear up anything in the end and ended with a huge cliffhanger which didn't feel like an acceptable ending.

Otherwise it was one of the best episodes, especially the conversation between Shiina and Enomoto of course. Now I can just hope that there will be a sequel or special or whatever, though I thought it was impossible.

But that wasn't an ENDING.

What...the...cake?

I most likely will not continue this show unless I become seriously bored. This is a below average Japanese mystery drama, with the main girl detective being an absolute moron. However, what irritates me even more is that the first case is NOT solved in the first episode. Instead it continues on.

Epic Kiss!

I seriously can't get enough of Hyun Bin & Kim Sun Ah together. Even the most cliché & predictable moments feel so real because they are such good actors.

I watched the drunk scene between the two of them, leading to the kiss, 3 times in a row. I cheered aloud when Sam Soon initiated the kiss, and left Jin Hun in shock. That was a K-Drama first for me.

The only major failure in this episode for me that too much screen time is given to Jung Ryeo Won & Daniel Henney. Their english is the best part of their acting.

I'm about to lose more sleep because I can't wait to watch the next episode!

One word: AWESOOOOME!

Every episode so far I've been saying 'this is awesome! Favourite episode yet!' so yet again this was just another favourite!! I love how no matter how hateful Kang To is, he is just brilliant!! He was sooo cute when he was following Mok Dan! Like a little boy teasing the girl he likes. He's just too cute!!

Shunji is just too confusing. His transformation into the baddie isnt convincing. He's meant to be vengeful but his expression confuses me. Him falling out with Kang To I dont get it. But he is forgiven for unknowingly making Kang To happy by letting him see Bong Yi 24 hours a day. And by making him work as Bridal Mask easier so I'll tolerate him. I'm not a particular fan nor anti-fan of Mok Dan...but just the fact that Kang To likes this girl I will also like her

Next episode as always looks awesome!!! Never fails to make me go crazy over this!

I'm already in love with this drama!

i liked the first two episodes so far, and the relationship between Sam-soon & Jin-heon already has me in love with this show.

Initially I didn't even recognize young Hyun Bin, because he looks so different from how he looks in secret garden. He is just as hilarious in this though. He so good at playing arrogant, while still being likeable. He is an awesome stalker in this too. lol.

Kim Sun Ah is so good as super stubborn Sam Soon, and I was surprised she was so hilarious. I think this episode has one of the funniest drunk scenes that I've seen. She's such a bold, and imperfect, character which makes it easy for me to root for her.

Two Great actors, with great chemistry, almost guarantees that I will love this drama. I hope the plot can live up to the performances. I already like that it's swaying away from the 'rich mom doing everything to stop their relationship'scenario. I have a feeling that just watching these two go at it will leave me satisfied.

so obvious

i knew they was half-brother when they show kyung joon picture of those 2 baby angels and yoon jae's book. so things are getting more excited now. FINALLY!!!

oh and those racial comments on viki website if you go watch the episode there about the scene where kyung joon's mom got shot and it was a black person... disrespectful, ill-mannered, rude, insolent, impudent people. you should be ashamed

Touching

Man, I cried a lot. This was the most touching episode. So many relatable scenes... The letter the teacher read in front of the class, his graduation, the school fight. They were very emotional. They managed to capture everyone's feelings in such a realistic way. The music really emphasised many moments in this episode. Especially the fight and the scene with the teacher alone in the classroom - that one gave me goosebumps for real. The music was exquisitely beautiful.

On a lighter note though, his positive thinking was HILARIOUS! XD

I like the way Makio matured. He now has different priorities and sees things in a different light. He actually cares about his friends and has learned to appreciate others.

I'm really glad he went back to school. The ending was perfect. It was realistic but still happy. And gosh, do clothes change a person! :O Umemura really looked like an older person dressed like that!
