The characters were lovable and cute, the acting was good overall. I was especially moved by little Ki Dong.
The movie had some really cheesy scenes I found a little overdone, but except of that the humor was really good.
It also had sad scenes, though and those were acted fantastically.
I recommend this to everyone who wants to see a light, heartwarming and cute movie once in a while. ;)

The story was kind of more low key with the plot. Its more about the growth of the main female character. While it was watchable, it didnt happen to engage me. I was also expecting more of a romance between PD & Jin Ah but yet again Ill mention it was more about Jin Ah's growth. The ending was nice enough.
Acting-wise LMJ did a great job and was very believable. Lee Jung Jin was very wooden and it made his character seem bland. He also didnt have much chemistry with LMJ. I liked the supporting cast.
The music was forgettable. But I did like LMJ's singing because her voice is so pure.
Although I enjoyed certain funny scenes this is not a movie I have to watch again. Overall it was a bit disappointing but still worth a watch once if your a fan of Lee Min Jung.

As I watched the movie, I began to care for the three main characters. This was due to the top-notch acting of the cast: Takeuchi Yuko's Mio was a strong, graceful and warm character. Nakamura Shido & Takei Akashi were both fine in their roles.
The photography and the music added to the overall success of the movie. The only downside that some viewers might have with the movie is its sentimentality. But for me, it was an enjoyable movie experience. I still have my 'teru teru bozu' doll I made after watching this emotional film.

This movie is about friendship that can be restored through passion to music. Music can bring back confidence, change your life and help you stand against whole world. Story was good, not amazing but decent enough to watch it till the end. I was truly impressed that all cast was musically talented all felt really honest. I enjoyed watching another role of Kim Sang Ho - he is such adorable Ahjeosshi :D I like his acting so much after watching City Hunter.
All Jang fans - must watch!

This is one of few Japanese movies (And I've only watched a few)that I entirely enjoyed the whole cast and acting. Most importantly, Acting; because in other dramas/movies I feel as if the actors sound/feel too forced, but in Golden Slumber, the acting was superb! And Masato Sakai did an AWESOME job. He's an amazing actor, and I can't wait to watch more of his dramas/movies.
Another thing I loved was that this movie was in fact named after the song Golden Slumber by The Beatles, and you'll understand the meaning of it throughout the movie.(as well as it's connection to the story).
Also, while watching, it helped when I payed attention to the character's names and faces because it got a little bit confusing and the quality of the movie I found online wasn't too great so I couldn't clearly see the faces.
As for the story, it's not in complete chronological order, and it expects you to understand the scenarios/situations/conversations using deduction, so watch with your brain ;)
I recommend to anyone who enjoys comedy/thriller/suspense/mystery-esque themes.

STORY: The story is simple but the way it is unwinding prevents it from being a random story just for the sake of making a movie. The way the story handles the people of the village's daily life (though it's more about the students and teachers) and the unrequited love of both the young teacher and the student is raw but smooth at the same time. There's like a touch of poetry in this movie that makes the viewer continue watching it even if it may be long and kind of bittersweet. And the way the movie begins and then ends is just perfect...at least it was for me.
ACTING/CAST: I think the cast was just perfect. Seriously, while watching the movie I really thought this could be a documentary. Every single character has its flaws and qualities that were depicted with such...realness. Yes realness is the right word.
MUSIC: Though the movie is Korean and the story takes place in 1963, the main songs we hear are old songs in English. This is quite surprising but in a good way, what better way to begin a movie about unrequited love than with “Don't Break My Heart"? I am personally a huge sucker for "old songs" so I truly appreciated the soundtrack. Of course they are songs in Korean too and the song played when the ending credits roll stayed in my head for quite a long time. In fact, I loved all the songs in this movie and if I could I would have every single of them on my Ipod.
REWATCH VALUE: I don't think this is a movie one will watch on a daily basis especially because of its length but still THIMM is a movie you can easily watch if you have time and feel nostalgic about your childhood with your crush on your teacher or just to admire the amazing actors in this movie.
OVERALL: The movie is very well done. It may have flaws but it doesn't prevent it from being very lovable. I think everyone should watch it at least once. The movie may be long but you definitely won't regret the time spent in front of it. You may not love it but you definitely cannot not like it.

Fist of all, I did not get into this little history of life of the characters fully, as it was too cropped and didn't give enough depth. Then I didn't come to like ANY of the main characters, the younger version of the guy is shy and silent... but hey, he presents himself a total looser all the time! I couldn't believe his actions as a man in love, giving up on the girl he loved so dearly, and at the situation he did it, it was the most awful part, instead of jumping for her rescue, he just left... what a loser...
The girl...Suzy...Suzy... I couldn't get over her HyeMin (Dream High) when I was watching this... yes she was a little different, but her cold act was screaming HyeMi all over the screen...
The older version, actually, were more lovable, but they were the ones who drew the ending of the movie, so, hey, what the hell... if you're telling a story, be so king and draw a normal ending!!!
I was waiting to watch this movie very-very much for several reasons: first of all the cast - Lee JeHoon was amazing in Fashion King and believe it or not was born in 1980 and was playing a young student here as a counterpart to Suzy, who is like 18 or something... he was cute, yes, but again,an awful character was his young guy... *shudder*
Jo Jung-Suk... yes, I love thins man, kill me, he was so funny and actually when his character was with the main lead, somehow the main lead did not mean so pathetic, just a young guy, who needed advice with his girl~ lol, when he was explaining how to kiss, I was on the floor :p
What I want to mention, the movie has a beautiful cinematographic solutions... actually some fantastic ones... shots of Seoul, the sea, the house he builds, the narrow streets, the old house... the game of lights...
Should you watch it or not? I have no idea... I just gave my opinion... choose for yourself, you may like it...

I like the message the movie wants to impart to its viewers. Beauty is not only what you see outside, it should be inside and out. A person should be atoned with himself/herself. Love yourself before anything else.

Lovesick is one of the many movies out there today who doesn't seem like anything special due to its common storyline. Once you actually watch the movie and get into the plot, You'll find yourself falling in love with the movie. What seemed like just another romantic comedy, Will in the end turn out to be a movie of a deeper meaning. With Ariel Lin in the role of Rou Qing falling for a young doctor, acted by Chen Berlin. I will write a spoilerless review.Liang Ruo Qing was happily in love with her boyfriend, His lifelong dream was always to become famous and so After some chances trying he eventually got recruited as a singer. Due to the wrong timing she entered to see a missleading image of her boyfriend and his manager in a uncomfortable situation, This leading to her belief about her boyfriend cheating on her. Many tears were cried that night, But as time went by she decided she would stop trusting guys. 3 Years has passed since then, And Ruo Qing has grown cold towards men. At her place of working there is a new doctor working, Seemingly perfect. Without a flaw visually, And nice to everybody. Love at first sight makes the situation difficult for Ruo Qing, So she decides to prove to everybody that this doctor Zhe Han isn't anything close to how perfect he seems... However after many tries of finding something bad about him, She only seems to fall for him more and more.
A Story filled with romance you never would have expected. Its not just any story, Its by far worth the watch.
The soundtrack in the movie deserves bragging. The songs that are used are fitting into each of the situations they are used, And they are fittingly choosen for the main cast.
A Story about Love and Heartache, Aswell as the importance of life and happiness.. Recommended for all people who like movies with a message to be told. For everyone who loves a good romantic story.
If you are a fan of either of these, You will love Lovesick.
