Endearing and sensible taboo show which succesfully kept it's elegance . Bravo.
Lin is the ex Mistress of Rangsan ( ML's dad ) when she is pursued by his son (Khatha). The wife learns about it...The plot is nothing but explosive. In a taboo situation like that, what would one do?
Watching this show, I was evidently intrigued by the very problematic situation Lin encounters because this reminds me of a real life situation I saw happening in my hometow, in which a daughter fell for her mother's lover and finally, after a lot of scandalous gossips, the two managed to settled together and had a child. So I was intrigued to know how this story could be handled.
Well, I am happy they kept some elegance in this show. The characters are not one-dimensional and the plot was well executed.
I would have liked the drama to be longer though. Because A lot of plot point was rushed at the very end ( episode 19 to 21) to finish the show.
Pros :
- Sassy and strong FL on the surface but with some emotional scars deep inside.
- Redeemable FL.
- Sincere and cute non perfect ML
- The wife is supposed to be a multi-dimensional character. It is also interesting that for being the wife who has been cheated on ( episode 1 ) she should be the victim. But the writer made a villain of her. Clever.
- The drama stays always elegant and even sexy but never vulgar. Bravo to the maker for keeping the story beautiful and thus endearing to watch.
- A lot of twist and turns.
Cons :
- Some misunderstandings.
- The evil wife is very annoying.
- The ending fells rushed because soo much more could have happened to Lin and Khatha. And I wish we had 10 more episodes.
- The husband Rangsan could have been more utilized in this drama. I wish he was more present.
Overall :
Endearing and sassy story with a sweet bickering couple. I loved all of it. And I recommend it because Lin is totally redeemable. And Khatha is a tru hero, although he is not perfect. You might enjoy this cute and sexy story as much as I did.

Enjoyable, but Could Have Used More Couple Scenes
Overall, it was an enjoyable watch.Positives:
1- The visuals – Both leads are just so pretty.
2- Strong characters – The female lead isn't a damsel in distress, nor does she have childish traits. The male lead isn't a flawless, god-like figure either. Both are capable, smart cultivators, growing and evolving as they face the challenges together.
3- The central theme – The idea behind the story is quite deep, and the way the good vs. evil conflict is resolved is thought-provoking.
Negatives:
1- Missed chemistry potential – The chemistry between the leads is undeniable, but unfortunately, the drama doesn't fully take advantage of it. The couple feels flat at times, not because of the leads' performances or the story, but due to production choices.
2- Side story overload – At times, the side plots took away from the main story, making the overall narrative feel overcrowded.

Yang Hua-I loved his character. Xu Kai did a great job. After meeting Qin Shi he grew as a person. He looked at life from a different perspective. And that is how it should be. I never felt that they were in a fake marriage. Qin Shi was so comfortable around him. He will not forget to put her heels in their place even if he is drunk. That was so cute. How cutely he recites poems when he is drunk. I liked how he never felt ashamed of being a househusband and Drama did a commendable job of showing this in the first 20 episodes.
Qin Shi-
This character cannot be understood by all. Sometimes she comes as a red flag or weird but no one is perfect. Her goal was clear. She lied because she saw how difficult it was for her to get a job just because she was not married. And she could do anything to change that. I like how professional she was when her ex joined the company. What I don’t like about her is how blindly she trusted President Tang. And her obsession with being a partner in the firm. Leaving the firm was the best decision. Though she should have done it sooner.
Some might say that the last 5 episodes were unnecessary. But according to me the thing which happened in episode 36 should have happened in episode 30. She was afraid of marriage and I can understand that. She saw her father’s divorce twice. She saw her younger brother’s marriage being failed like every alternate day(that’s a different story). And then her seven-year relationship with Tao Jun Hui. Not everyone can break their wall easily. So yes she needed time to figure everything out. And Yang Hua gave her that. They should have shown their reunion and all other things in 3 episodes. Things were quite hasty in the last episode.
Li dai-
I just love this character. She only wanted fairness in her company. I love how underrated her friendship was with Yang Hua. When she got to know that she didn’t receive a single vote for the 11th floor, she left the firm. And I loved that she knew when to stop. After that, she shined like a bright diamond. She was a gem. I wish there was more screen time for her.
Tao Jun Hui and Wu Fei-
What do I even say about these two. He never took a stand for Qin Shi in front of his mother. Even in later episodes when his mother was speaking nonsense about the FL family, he never spoke up. His mother can make her son a puppet of a rich family but cannot allow to marry him such a beautiful and kind person. And after that, he was being rude to Qin Shi. I mean hello who gave you this right Sir? He could have gone to her even if she was not answering his texts. He knew about her fear of marriage right? But he went abroad. And then he dares to speak to her like that.
Wu Fei was an immature kid who got spoiled all her life. TJH never stopped her when she was doing such childish things with Qin Shi. She took her office, and cases, and even made someone spy on her from the office. Wtf? He always laughed and brushed it off when she did all these things. If your man is making you feel insecure you cannot blame it on the female lead.
Always shouting, yelling, and crying in the workplace. I mean that’s not your father’s firm. That’s all I need to say about this annoying character.

The Ultimate Beer Comercial!
This Kdrama is like your favorite beer! You know why you love it, ergo you know what you're gonna get, and in that, so you won't be disappointed! It's not extraordinary or special, but it was a fun! It's not a surprise that Kim Sejeong carried the whole show, but the side-characters were good, too!
My biggest problem is that we only get 12 episodes, and we had too many storylines, like the one with the soldier boy. That could've been so much better, and honestly, it deserves its own show, but we only got like 1 episode worth of story overall, and they moved on from it pretty fast.
Not to mention the plot with our main guy and the life-saving incident. They didn't do anything with it. I'm not talking about the obvious and typical Kdrama trope, I'm talking about the reason he had to be saved. They completely ignored that!
The usual stuff, like the romance and the main plot is predictable, but if you expect something else, this isn't for you. If you watched one show like this, you know them all, but that doesn't mean you're not gonna enjoy it.
Overall, it was fun, but nothing more!

Not Needed At All
From the previous review, I will still state that they have struck gold with these two actors. What I will say now is that it is wasted. These 4 episodes were not needed at all to enhance the previous story. It led nowhere and the natural chemistry between them is wasted. Why expound on the past that was already explained? The ending of the previous showed that they had reconciled but with baggage - Dae Yeong's cheating and Jeong Ha's dependency on him. This would have been a better story for them to deal with day to day conflicts because of the tainted relationship. A crying DY would have stretched his acting skills to pull in the audience more. An independent JH would show him asserting himself and not be clinging to DY for support with a final reconciliation. Choi and Jeong appeared lazy in their roles with no real meat to chew on. It was disheartening to see a poorly written script passed off as content. This is Sukfilm's weakness and it is hampering their growth. Their are other stories to tell and I hope they do. Choi and Jeong have "it", please don't waste it. Watching this before the previous episodes might make a better experience. Was this review helpful to you?
Hei-Bai Fengxi = best duo
Overall 11/10🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟✨
Who Rules The World is such an incredible drama! I truly enjoyed the entire experience of watching this. 40 episodes were enough but I would have loved even more! I feel that shows just how good the drama is. I was an absolute trainwreck during some of the final episodes but I truly enjoyed it! Following the story of Hei-Bai Fengxi was so fun and just the development of the characters blew me away. Zhao Lusi has yet again showed me that she is such an amazing actress and I have yet to watch a drama of hers that does not impress me. Yang Yang also brought his character Feng Lanxi to life in such a way that I could not help but fall in love. The plot twists keep you on the edge of your seat and the slow/forbidden romance is to die for!
Highly, highly recommend watching!!

Disappointing tbh...
Overall 6/10🌟🌟🌟
This drama really ended up disappointing me. It had potential in the first 2 episodes but it fell through pretty fast. Before I started watching I knew that the drama would either be a hit or miss regarding the mental health part. I was really hoping it would hit since Park Shin Hye starred in it, however it not only missed but completely derailed in that regard. I would not recommend watching this if you wanted to watch it for the mental health aspect. ML was an idiot and nothing, no excuses would make me forgive/like him. I did not like the way they showed the relationships. SL deserved better and I'm glad that is somewhat resolved at the end. Wrapping up, I'd say the last episode was really enjoyable if you disregard the whole story before that...💀

Can demons fall in love?
Overall 9/10
🌟🌟🌟🌟⭐
Park Shin Hye truly out did herself in this drama. Everything from acting to visual effects made this show incredibly enjoyable! The slow humanization of Kang Bitna and the dehumanization of Han Daon is intriguing and the show keeps you on the edge of your seat constantly! Plot twists that leave you in awe and action scenes that leave you stunned. The drama is actually really fun apart from the dark side to it which is a bonus. Highly recommend watching!!

Watch for a good cry. (and laugh tbh)
Overall 9/10🌟🌟🌟🌟⭐
Absolutely beautiful and stunning, the acting was truly phenomenal. I truly enjoyed the journey with them. The ending is so extremely bittersweet but I loved that, it makes it feel more REAL. I prefer it when stories follow this path where it may not be a fairytale happy ending but instead a more realistic ending to keep you in the feels. Eo Heung has my heart, he truly deserves the world. The drama is packed with funny and emotional scenes, perfect drama to binge watch for some feels!
Highly recommend!🌟

Captivating and fun drama!
Overall 10/10🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is such a captivating story and I truly enjoyed it! If you liked AOS you will most likely enjoy LGIEF.
I liked how this story blended and blurred the lines of reality and fantasy as the show nears the end. The cinematography is absolutely stunning and the actors were outstanding! I discovered the beautiful Esther Yu in this and look forward to more of her in other works. The highlight of the show is definitely Cui Cui for me! As much as I loved everyone else Cui Cui became my overall favorite apart from Miao Miao and Ziqi <3
The ending was average but everything else makes up for it. It ends on a good note. :)
Highly recommend watching!💞

The Afterlife
I really liked how the plot revolves around an actual near-death experience like how the they collectively agree that they all see a light right before waking up. It was so creatively written, and it felt different from any other ghost or afterlife narration I’ve come across. Not to say I fully believe in the afterlife, but this definitely poked at my morbid curiosity about what it might be like on the other side—walking that thin line between life and death. But then again, who knows? Augh!I super enjoyed this, and that genre shift halfway through? Completely uncalled for but so good! It starts off kind of weak, but that’s the point!
It feels so rewarding to put the pieces together haha. I highly recommend

It is endearing to see GROWN-UPS experiencing INNOCENT LOVE.
The fact that this is a modestly produced drama, we really can't expect much about it. But I have to praise Lee Yi Kyung for a splendid portrayal. He's making me laugh (the accent though) even when the atmosphere in the scene is serious. This drama is a testament to his power to reverse himself into a serious actor which could take him away a little from being typecast as a humorist. Oh, the kids playing the twins’ niece and nephew of LYK are the cherry on top – they are the real hoot which is why I enjoy this drama. The pacing is steady, with a superficial plot, and for agreeable reasons, it doesn’t require heavy performances from all the actors. It simply tells a person’s change of heart into welcoming the idea of marriage. Out from his and her mindset, he believes his life on the island with the twins is his sole happiness while she is hit hard by the past terrible relationship that nearly got her into marriage. Be that as it may, life gives both big surprises after their encounter.
I acknowledge this drama for how it enlightens our minds towards marriage. This kind of status is not chosen by everyone with so many aspects to consider affecting their decision to put off the idea. For a fact, love alone can’t guarantee a life together to last. Marriage is a responsibility. If you are not fully confident and committed by heart, mind, and soul to share your life with another person in such a way treating his or her life as your own, then just enjoy a single life.

A Great Period GL Series
The plot is great, but the pace slows down in the middle. Most importantly, it inserts advocations for the LGTBQ+ community and marriage equality into the storyline, especially towards the end.The acting is phenomenal. Freen acted exceptionally well as Khun Pin through her eyes and body language. While, Becky is the dark horse who improved drastically from GAP with little cringey scenes.
The OSTs are beautiful with variety types of music.
Lastly, the production is grand and well-done, specifically the cinematography. Not one shot is ugly.

Reason why you must watch this series
The series is absolutely incredible! From the storyline to the production quality, everything is top-notch. The performances by the actors and actresses are beyond exceptional—truly captivating. And don’t even get me started on the OST; it’s a masterpiece that perfectly complements the narrative. It’s highly recommended—an action series with comedy, perfectly reflecting YinWar’s unique charm. Overall, it’s a flawless gem in every aspect! Huge respect to YinWar and the team for making this series happen with their personal budget. I’ll always support YinWar and truly hope they’ll have more projects together in the future! Was this review helpful to you?

Dou Zhao happens to be one of my fav FLs in both book and the drama!
What I like:----------------
The casting is so good! I was excited to see Meng Zi Yi and Li Yun Ri bring the lead characters to life. They both did a good a job. They fit the role.
Song Mo's uncle was such a impressive character! Nothing at all like his cowardly "father".
Dou Zhao's mother was such a pretty woman! I'm sure sad that she was only on screen for a first few episodes.
So far I love that they haven't added any unnecessary drama that wasn't there in the book between the leads. What I like about them together is that they are my comfort couple. They are so damn nice to each other! The drama has brought that to light for me.
I like the idea about both of them going back in time, even though Song Mo doesn't remember there is a possibility of him remembering it one day. That's not how it happened in books but that's a welcoming change for me.
Dou Ming is so damn adorable! I was willing to let go of my resentment of her from previous life so I did not see that ending for her.
Zhao Zhang Ru has also been a favorite of mine and she gets a lot of screen time which I am very happy about!
What I dislike: (Mostly stuff that has been messed up from the book)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Dou family was supposed to have this rich history that's just missing. The currently Dou family was supposed to be so big with a few branches and in-laws. It would have been fun to see Dou Zhao navigate through them on screen, she did it so well in the book! (And she was just a child when she did that! I feel that it is such a missed opportunity)
The entire dynamic between Dou Zhao, her father, Wang Ying Xue, and Dou Ming lacked depth. It is much more satisfying in the books where Dou Zhao is actually the one who has the upper hand throughout their interactions and not once does she suffer because of Wang Ying Xue or Dou Ming's shady tactics. The only time she fails is to save her mother's life.
Since the book is so long with 500+ chapters it is bound to miss a lot of things but because of this I felt that a lot of things were missing in the drama and I had to fill in the gaps with the story that I remembered. I wish there were more episodes, but again a lot of things have to be taken into consideration so can't really blame them.
I'm not a fan of the changes that have been made to the Yuan Tong / Ji Yong character. It was okay in the first few episodes but later he just seems like underutilized character.
