The ways to which the movie lacks big time in my opinion is without a doubt the characters and the lack of good character development if any at all. There's only a handful of characters we are introduced to so you'd expect to get to know about them but we only find out 1 fact about each of them in a montage style moment at the beginning and since that moment no more information is told and there is no character development. This is especially a shame because the actors where really decent.
Overall expect to enjoy this movie for the sport aspect but don't expect a master piece.

Great casts and story but I think Run Off is better than this
I have seen Run Off before watching this and that's actually a sequel movie although the storylines are completely irrelevant from each other. The similarity though is the fact that both stories are about forming a national team on a new sports and their journey before competing. This is a 2 and a half hour movie which is quite long. I felt like there were lots of scenes that can be omitted to make it shorter without losing it's main concept/message. However, it's good to see them growing and learning together.
I love that this movie also made me cheer for them because of the efforts they made. It's actually a feel good movie so you can watch this over the weekend. It helped me realize how beautiful the process is more than the result itself.

"NO excuses" policy
I love how this is inspired by true sports event. It's very touching to watch how the athletes are pursuing their dreams regardless of the harsh circumstancesWhat I love the most is how they show us what it means by "No excuses" policy. Instead of using lack of resources as excuse, they get really creative in how they train by utilising simple daily tools. It's fascinating to watch how they train, even though. I've no sports background or whatsnot
It's very inspiring and heartwarming, and I love how everything turned out in the end.
It's one of the best K-drama I've watched. I'm glad I watch this despite it being and old show, which I sometimes tend to skip
