First, I'm really excited to write this review because I think this is a drama that many underestimated, including me.
I swear on my life that at the end of the second episode I had no doubt that the drama was a mess, too extravagant and I didn't understand any character. However, my younger sister encouraged me to keep watching because, I don't know why, the drama had fascinated her.
Now that I've finished the last chapter I must honestly say I swallowed my words and curses. This drama was absolutely great, lovely and especially smart, while still being funny and eccentric.

There will come a time (approximately in Chapter 5) where you will not be able to stop and it will become the best remedy for a bad day, it will be the last thing you want to watch before going to sleep.

The performances of the young detectives make love the weirdness of each character. The misunderstood Ahn Chae Yool and her adorable brother (seriously, I've become a stalker of this actor) were the characters I loved most. Hye Ri was so sweet that no doubt will soon give much to talk with her next drama.
In fact, there are two characters who, although they influenced the history, I think they were superfluous: The teacher Ha and his unbearable mother, I totally hated their characters because their existence didn't make sense to me.

However, it's gratifying to see that a Korean drama begin to confront sensitive issues such as abortion or homosexuality.
One point that I found unique about this drama is that there was no representative song, just the sweet whistled melody of the intro.
In short, this is a drama that yes or yes you'd want to see again. I hope you give it a chance and do not miss it because you'll beg for a sequel ... like me XD

Story
First word that comes to mind is refreshing. It's not your typical Korean drama maybe because it has very minor romance. Instead, numerous interesting mystery cases and youth-related issues were brought up.

Personally, I thought that this drama felt very youthful and quirky. Despite the seriousness of certain issues in the show, it felt more toned-down, possibly to suit their targeted audiences (teenagers and young adults??).

Acting
The main characters have very distinct personalities that I felt were very well portrayed. Some had to be really awkward and annoying due to their characters as school outcasts or even possibly nerds. However, some viewers might find it unpleasant and disturbing to watch their immature behaviour. I personally feel that the characters were intentionally written that way, although it might seem quite an exaggeration for high school students to still behave childishly.

Also, good acting by young (possibly newbie) actors and actresses who took on the supporting roles. For instance, Chun Young Min who played Ah Ra was very memorable. I recall feeling her frustrations when she was yelling at her dad.

Cast
I thought it was weird how they made the teachers play multiple roles throughout the show. Maybe just for laughs, but thankfully it was not confusing and it does not affect the clarity of the storyline.

It was also rather nice to see new and young actors and actresses.

Music
Honestly, I did not recall anything memorable or special.

Rewatch value
I definitely wouldn't mind rewatching (even though I usually never do).
In fact, I would love for them to have a squeal!

In all, I feel that this was enjoyable and rather light. However, it should not be taken too seriously due to the nature and the theme of the drama. I wouldnt recommend this if you're into serious and mature dramas. However, if you're thinking of taking a break from romance-heavy dramas, you should give this a try!

A LOVELY school drama tackling high schoolers' troubles in an interesting and funny way. The issues discussed are common but not presented in this mature, global and non-conformist way. While we see private education's problems, bullying, sex, abortion, suicide, part-timing and homosexuality; we see them from different points of view. Everyone is free to express their opinions. No prejudice. No judgement. Though they might not agree or accept. Though they might fight and separate. They all had the right to hold their stands. But some people would try to dissuade others. Not because they believe their own opinion is right and others' wrong. But when they see someone being unhappy because of a road they've taken they try to show them the other roads. No forcing. No imposing ideas. Just as ''humans'' must treat each other.

The young actresses did a wonderful jobs. I can see the bright future of Korean actresses. Guest actors left a mark each.

Great songs. Mystery. Suspense. Tears. Deep questions. A perfect drama in each and every way.

I loved this show!
No, it isn't typical or remotely normal in the kdrama world, but that's one of the many reasons I liked it so much.

I will say this: get trough the 1st 2 or 3 episodes. When I started watching this show, I really wasn't feeling it! But now it has become a favourite of mine!! So give it a chance!!

Mysteries are my cup of tea, and when mixed with comedy: yes yes and yes!
The story is pretty good, the plot makes sense and keeps you wondering trough out most of the drama, which is the point.
Plus, the characters are just adorable! I found myself falling deeper and deeper in love with their flaws and qualities, their funny inside jokes and their interesting ways of looking at everything.

Acting wise, it's wasn't perfect, but it was pretty great!
I need to give a well deserved bow to Jin Ji Hee! She did a great job, specially in the final scenes of the finale (won't spoil, just watch!!), which where definitely a challenge!
And also, Mr. Kim Min Joon! Wow! Just wow!! He was just perfect. Sultry and seductive, yet scary, and even vulnerable, all at once. I've fallen for him at this point! I'm pretty much planning on watching every drama and movie he has been in!!
Still, all of the actors did really nice in my eyes! Kang Min Ah was adorable, smart and wise, Lee Min Ji was messy and explosive, Lee Stephanie was sweet and sexy, Hye Ri was funny, cute and spontaneous... oh, and Han Ye Joon also stood out to me! I didn't think he was brilliant, but he did make me want to see him in a drama again!

Lastly (I promise I'll leave now...), I think the true reason why I loved this drama so much was the relationship between the girls in the group. Their friendship is beautiful, crazy and genuine, and that's how it should be!
This kdrama made me want to join the Seonam High School Investigators club...

It's just not what the synopsis says!!!

First of all don't be disappointed if you find no love angle here as it never promised so
It's completely based on problems generally faced by high schoolers where they are to leave teenage and enter twenties

There are in total six cases out of which one case is the base of whole story and others contribute it
The major case starts right from the beginning of series and ends where the series ends
The series deals with problems like bullying homosexuality, unwanted pregnancy and dreams that parents don't support

It is very deep, enlightening, funny and amazing
This drama is so underrated and non famous
I am glad that I came across this

Just watch it for an unforgettable fun

There are five girls solving cases ,helping people and learning life
Each girl is fun and useful and you'll love them
And there is a literature teacher who helps the female lead but is suspicious and also someone against whom she is being warned

The way the series starts and ends is very unique
The very first scene will shock you and you'll end up saying...what the fuck just happened!!!

Do watch it..this series certainly deserves more

I'm actually really suprised that this drama got a weak point raiting.
I can say that it's really hard to find a really good drama nowadays and this one is one of my favorite. It's about friendship, romance, mystery, and comedy. I loved the acting even if it was exaggerating most of the times but it was needed to the mood. I laughed a lot. I liked the stories they were not just ordinary ones. It's not just about solving cases but also about dealing with personal life problems, about making/maintaining friendship, helping each other, even though when there are conflicts. I really recommend this drama for everyone who like these kind of tv series.
It reminded me a bit of japanese dramas Tantei Gakuen Q and also Kindaichi I love those dramas too. So I think you won't regret it if you give it a try.

idk what to put here but read this pls

I'll start off with the fact that this drama has now become one of my favorite dramas of all time. My reasoning for watching this is incredibly stupid (HEHE STEPHANIE LEE GO BRRRRR) but, y'know, almost every drama that I absolutely love I literally only watched for a stupid reason. Aside from that, this drama is incredibly good and I totally recommend that y'all watch it.

There are a few things that pissed me off though. First off, as the drama progressed I realised that the only two investigators with some sort of common sense and a fucking brain are Chae Yul and Sung Yeon. And before y'all get mad at me, I don't exactly hate the rest. They just need some goddamn character development and education on social issues (I'll explain this further below).

There were two particular cases that clearly showed how dumb everyone apart from Chae Yul and Sung Yeon are - the first of these being Sae Yoo's abortion case. Yes, Sae Yoo getting an abortion in that case is wrong but Mido's dumbass fails to recognize what the actual problem is - which *really* pissed me off. Mido claims that the problem is that abortion is illegal and Sae Yoo is a minor (therefore claiming that the issue is the fact that Sae Yoo got an abortion). However, the real issue here is that Sae Yoo was forced to get an abortion by Chang Yeon's mother, even though both her and Chang Yeon made the active decision to become parents. In this case, Sae Yoo is being refused control over her body and her pregnancy (i.e. being forced to get an abortion, which goes against her choice. The issue is NOT the abortion itself, nor should abortion be classed as immoral (as Mido alludes to). But aside from Mido's dumbassery in this case, Chae Yul was incredibly right in the way that they shouldn't have tried to dig into Sae Yoo's personal life and pregnancy in the first place - and only focused on retriving the rabbit (Sung Yeon was also the only one that agreed with her, showing how unlike Some Other Girls, she actually has a fucking brain!). Essentially, it was the girls' attempt to find out more that led to Sae Yoo ending up in hospital and harming herself, because clearly the abortion and pregnancy brings back traumatic memories and endless guilt because she genuinely wanted to become a mother, but had that forcibly taken away from her.

The second case that truly exposed some of the girls' true colors was Soo Yeon and Eun Bin's case. And oh God, this was PAINFUL to watch - especially Ha Jae and her homophobic remarks (god, Ha Jae really pissed me off and this just made me hate her). Mido was also quite dumb as well - yes, she does support Soo Yeon and is willing to help her in the case, but what the fuck was 'I don't fully support homosexuality'? How can you call yourself a decent person, yet not FULLY support the gay community? And what the fuck does she mean by that? How do you only partially support gay people? Jesus Christ Miss Mido Mido Mii~! (that sentence was physically paining to write btw). But hey, at least Mido partially supports gays innit. Then there is Ha Jae, and I'm going to now rant about her homophobic arse. First off - what the fuck is 'I don't feel comfortable around homosexuals'?? That's about 10x worse than what Mido said (plus its classic homophobe rhetoric as well so fuck you Ha Jae <3). Also the 'How can a girl date a girl' (someone spewed some bullshit like that at one point and I'm pretty damn sure its Ha Jae) LIKE HELLO MOTHERFUCKERS?? How CAN a girl date a girl?? GIRLS ARE PRETTY YOU DIPSHITS (apart from Ha Jae, that ugly motherfucker can suck my toenails x). But homophobes aside, this case did show exactly how much of an icon our QUEEN Sung Yeon is. Literally everything she said was right, I was just sat there like GO OFF SIS!! But yeah - that entire case just showed how the only two decent girls were Chae Yul and Sung Yeon (also kinda offtopic but they would make the POWER COUPLE!! Plus them being together would piss off Ha Jae and Mido and THAT MAKES ME SO FUCKING HAPPY).

Aside from what I've just waffled on about, the drama is actually great and y'all should watch it :)))

I never finished a drama and wished to rewatch it all over again as soon as the final episode's credits started. But this drama made me wish that! To put it simply: this drama is all that I love in an anime - crazy and silly moments and stories, combined with deep and serious themes and stories, awesome characters that I wish to spend all my day with, and all that without the bad fan service that you can find in most anime series these days.

I just loved it! It treats serious subjects like abortion, LGBT+, suicide and more without forcing an opinion on you, and at the same time it can be light and fluffy and adorable and super silly - sometimes in the same episode.

After the first 2-3 episodes I fell in love with the detectives and wished for the series to never end.

Lighthearted detective drama in a high school setting

This is the second time I'm watching this drama and I'm glad I watched it again. This is high school issue centered so I can no longer relate to it however I still enjoyed watching each and every cases that they've handled.

I rarely say this but the story is really well-written because eveything is simple yet it remained interesting from start to finish. It might seem childish at first but the life lessons you can learn is so immense.

I would also say that the casts really had a chemistry in this series. I can feel the friendship between them despite the differences that they had. I wish I had much fun in high school as they did with the adventures and investigations they had to go through.

The OST, although not the LSS (Last Song Syndrome) type, it made me cry a lot on some of the cases they've investigated. This series is light-hearted yet it can make you cry.

Lastly, I do recommend this series a lot. Regardless of what age you are although teens might enjoy this a lot because I first watched this when I was a teenager. It's also filled with a lot of life lessons so it's definitely a must-watch and is very worth it.

I have to admit, I absolutely HATED the main lead in the beginning. She was just the most annoying killjoy ever, and she cried every time she talked to her mother. The plot was also all over the place. I was ready to drop the show.

But I continued, and WHEW, thank god I did, because this drama totally grew on me. Firstly, I definitely started to like the main character better. Secondly, I liked that the plot got darker, more real, and more tense, but it take me a little while to get used to because the "humor" had been so absurd and parody-like that I couldn't take anything seriously.

There were still some episodes that were super frustrating, like when the plot was so painfully obvious that it physically hurt that I had to wait 2 hours for the characters to figure it out.

In the end, I continued watching this for the main plot. It was a little LESS dark than I had wanted, considering how much build-up it had.

It blows my mind that someone was paid to write such a detrimentally flawed and pointless story as this one. What began as plot developments were turned to anecdotes. For the majority of the episodes, you are stuck burning time with dry subplots. When the main plot decides to make an appearance, it is so senseless that you're left in a state of bewilderment.

I'm unsure if the characters were written to be so offensively annoying, or if the acting made them out to be so. Either way, these "actors" should choose another line of work.

At the time I'm writing, I've just finished this drama, but I literally cannot remember a single song that was in it. The soundtrack obviously did not leave an impression.

There is no way on God's green Earth I would be able to re-watch this drama. My disgust for the characters would increase tenfold.

Overall, this is not the absolute worst drama I have ever watched, but it is really close. At the very least, I didn't drop it.

I had no expectations when I started watching this drama. I actually thought this was the serious-mystery type. I didn't know this was a lot funnier than I expected.
