I've watched this for over 10x already
What I truly love about this series is its story line. It portrays the life of (universal) high school students, not shunning the essentials that they are in fact, youngsters that can be rowdy and emotional. The focus of this series' season is much more lovable and exciting than season 1, giving most of its casts the depth it lacked during S1 which for me is a great plus (especially when they gave more sense to Yuri's character other than the clingy and loud girl who likes Noh).Captain and White's acting also improved greatly in this season. They gave more spark to Noh and Phun's character as it should be and it's pretty obvious that they are more comfortable with each other here which, again, gave more life to the characters that they are portraying. I cannot count how many times I cried and laugh with them.
I super love the side characters (and hate some. Yes, I'm looking at you, Jeed). They gave more life, fun, and thrill to the story. I specifically like Ohm's actor better in this season, he supported Noh very well (and duh, he's cute with his love interest~).
I've lost count to how many times I've watched and re-watched this series from S1 to S2 but it's giving me different feels every single time. Kudos to everyone! Can't wait for Season 3~

The actors and actresses were great for their age, but at times I felt that they tried a little too hard to express a certain emotion. For example, when someone was crying I felt that they tried a little too hard to draw tears out, but I mean it's cry acting and no one said that was easy, so I give them props though.
The music was fabulous! (Especially Captain's version of Kor Rong; his voice killed me and the emotions he put forth into singing that song) I had to pause some episodes every so often because I had to go and search for the songs and download them. Nat Tol's Unconditional Love (BUFF4's cover version) and the Theme Song - Shake were also very good and I had to go download them as well! The whole cast basically have angelic voices; something about Thai singing just draws me in just like K-Pop.
I love Phun/Noh all the way, but I felt that they were a little dramatic like they were their own "girls" and that they displayed more "girl" like emotions than the actual girls themselves. Still love them *Hearts*. My favorite couple is probably Ohm/Mick!! I just wish their story was extended upon on because of how adorable it was. A lot of the side couples' story line had so much potential, but I guess the author/director wanted to focus on the main's, so I understand why the sides didn't have much screentime; especially Pop/Pang. I also liked Per/Win's coupling too. I thought Mark/Win's coupling was adorable too, especially during one scene near the end.
What I learned from watching this drama according to the guys and girls:
What I learned about the guys:
They are a bunch of emotional wrecks!!!! Like seriously, they didn't even need the girls in the drama because they were more emotional and dramatic than the girls!!!!! In real life you don't find much guys like that, but I do like how they each displayed their characters.
What I learned about the girls:
They're obnoxious and annoying and are pretty much attention seekers. I really pitied Jeed throughout the series. I despised Grace from Ep. 1 of Season 1 and despised her to the very end. And I knew Aim wasn't going to be the goody two-shoe she was displayed to be at the very beginning of the series.
I would definitely re-watch!!!!!! Maybe not now, but a few months down the road or next year as I usually re-watch dramas 1 or 2 years later. Honestly this is one of(if not) the best Thai school dramas I've seen and watched.
I really want a Season 3...........................................

Love Sick Season 2 picks up where the first season left off. It has a longer season run. It provides viewers with more character development, twists and turns, and cuddly and steamy moments between Phun and Noh. The heavy censorship is still present, which is unfortunate but its still one of the best love stories I've ever seen. Some might say it is too long, but if you are not interested in some of the side stories I say you just skip them. I found the character Jeed particularly annoying, but overall this is a phenomenal show. You root for Noh to be able to end up with Phun and you feel bad for Phun even though he is basically cheating. For people who don't like stories that contain cheating I think you should give this a try anyways because Phun and Noh fall in love despite everything and no one cheats just because they want to have sex. This is a story first and foremost about a deeply engrossing and abiding love that overtakes the characters. There are some love triangles, super funny scenes, heartbreaking moments, and this show just makes you ache. Was this review helpful to you?
In this season, they introduced several other pairing such as OhmMick, PerWin etc. It was a major let down seeing how little their side of the story shows. Don't get me wrong, PhunNoh relationship is wonderful and all but other pairings stories is somewhat interesting. Having 36 episodes, I'm sure it's possible to tell their story line even if it is just 1 or 2 episodes.
All things considered, I really love this drama as it shows the process of friendships, relationships evolve from time to time. They silliness, dorky side and stupidity sure made me lmao. Here's hoping to season 3 of love sick.

My first Thai BL series, and forever most unique and memorable. It's full of writer's ambition, too many characters, random stories unrelated to each other, transitions between scenes clippy (gloss over lots of details), casts & production/director are so new that it's almost comical how terrible they are. However all that awkwardness and cliche made the series that much more charming. There are some characters' story you can do without (e.g. Phun's sis) and although it's messy the drama eventually come together toward the middle.

Touches Many Topics
This season was A LOT better than the first season.I thoroughly enjoyed both seasons, but this second season tackled so many issues and it was a refreshing storyline.
Pun and Noh legit are the BEST BEST BEST, their chemistry is AMAZING!<3
I can only give it 7.5 because I wouldn't watch it again, and the OTS really didn't do much for me. It is a lot going on in the season so just make sure you keep up. There are some good laughing points as well as other moments of seriousness.
All in all, watch this show but you obviously have to watch the first season!

Compared with the iceberg Love Sick Season 1, that's the tip, the surface is the Season 1. Due to its Season 2, there is a deeper and deeper story in this series.
This is the longest series I've been watching. No lapses, no dead air, no dead story. If Season 1 is criticized for a simple plot or poor performance, I think they are wrong at that point. That's because Season 1, it's just a introduction. I believe in Season 2 they have shown all the faces of each character.
It's astonishing that at a show like this they see the different colors and faces of the word, "Love". It's a heartfelt feeling that this show is open to all the possibilities, as well as those who have come together. This show can open the hearts and minds of those who have come to know, exactly what the true love affects. No recognized color, as long as you love, you love.
The settings, ordinary, an all-boys school and an all-girls school, at home, are in the hallway. It's amazing to imagine, very simple places, humorous that these places are simple yet they've made it extraordinary because of the flow of story. :D

story:
i did at times find the story dragging (its 36 episodes,, its expected) mainly with the same back and fourths between the main couple and their girlfriends as season one had. but overall their relationship gets a lot cuter with lots of sweet moments and sadder ones too to keep it interesting. theres also a variety of side couples introduced, i got really attatched to perwin and ohmmick and cried at their scenes rather easily, but idk if that might just be because im a baby? idk. need season 3 to continue them though!
acting / cast:
acting improved drastically from season one, especially towards the later episodes. new characters were also chosen well!
music:
loved it! apart from music interrupting some kind of serious moments and ruining them slightly,,, but overall it was better than most bl’s. my favourite track was sung by gunsmile who played film !
rewatch value:
its 36 episodes,,,,, i doubt anyone would like to revisit this in its entirety as its simply too long but i’ll definitely be rewatching some of the side couples and the cuter moments between phun and noh :)
overall:
if youve seen season 1 and liked it, i HIGHLY recommend watching season two! i cried like a baby (:

It's a product of its time
I watched Lovesick for the sole reason that it is the first real Thai bl (well maybe hormones counts to.)It's not fair to compare it to bls nowadays, obviously it the budget was not big enough, as bl was not as popular. But it still was enjoyable, especially the first season. This season on the other hand... was wayyy too long and still did not manage to give some side couples a real ending.
1. The vacation storyline could be done in three episodes and it would have been better. It was honestly quite frustrating to watch Noh hide that Phun girlfriend cheats on him. And whyyyy did Yuri not break up with him. I mean, I can understand her, but I felt like it was bad writing. But I really liked Noh and Phun together, they were really cute. (Even though I wished Noh would admit being gay or bi and not "only liking Phun" but I didn't expect this from a Bl from 2014 anyways). I also liked how Noh and Phun learned to stop avoiding confrontation,
2. The girls academy side story. This isn't completely a bl, but it also is a highschool drama. Since I enjoyed Hormones I also enjoyed the side story, even though they really stretched it. I kinda liked Jeed story, expect the fact she almost literally killed her ex lol. But i wished they would have given Jeed and Yuri a real conversation, because in the end, Jeed actually thought Yuri hated her because Aim more or less told her that. However, I liked Jeed personality change in the end.
3. The side couples. Ohm's storyline was well done, I really enjoyed it and rooted him and Mick. But Pete and Earn... It had so much potential. It was quite confusing, was Earn bothered by Pete liking Yuri because he liked Pete or because he liked Noh? I think it was the perfect situation to develop their story. But we didn't get that, but instead we saw Pete confessing (?) to Earn in the last 5 seconds of the show. Honestly, I would have been ok with him getting together with Yuri(she deserves a happy end) instead of a half-baked ending like that. In my head canon Earnpete are together, but I would have loved at least like idk ten seconds more. It would have been so easy to give them a satisfying ending. Literally, Pete calling Earn and confessing and Earn telling him to call him back so he could listen to Earn's romantic ringtone (like he did with Noh)would be a nice ending. Or literally just a short footage of them holding hands in the last seconds would have been enough. Not to mention Per and Win. What was that ending? While I didn't ship Win with anyone, I would still like to see who he would choose. (In my headcanon he chooses Per, even though Per doesn't like him back)
In conclusion, it had great potential, just like 16 episodes less and a better ending would have made this like an 7-8/10. But would I have loved this if it was 2014 and this would be my first bl? Hell yeah. Do I recommend watching it? The first season, yes sure, this season not so much, maybe like on 2x speed like I did lol. But in 2023 there are too many bls better than this, but this is iconic so watch it if you have time for 36 episodes.

Where to start..
This may change in the future for sure, but as of today as I'm writing this, this is probably going to be one of my longest reviews I've done yet. I have sooo much to say about this drama, good and bad. Instead of individually reviewing both season 1 & 2, I'm just going to include it all in this one review. Starting off, I think Love Sick is definitely the longest drama I've invested myself in so far and even if at points I wanted to drop it, I'm very glad I powered through. It doesn't feel like wasted time. So, season 1 was amazing. I think I may have enjoyed it a little more than season 2. But I appreciate them for different reasons. I like how season 1 focus's more on the main couple, Noh and Phun, and not so much on other characters. But I like season 2 for that very opposite reason. I did enjoy watching relationships apart from the main couple develop as well. I will say though I was a little confused why season 1 had a actual physical kiss scene and yet season 2 either cut all the kiss scenes out, or they were staged kisses. It doesn't bug me too much or take away much from the story but I would've liked to see actual kisses between some of the characters.
I think one of the main complaints I had was that I didn't enjoy most of the female characters in this series. I think the only one's I liked or could even stand watching was Yuri, Nongnan(mainly cause I love Samantha), Lhew, and sometimes Mo(when she wasn't arguing with her stupid boyfriend). I had a really hard time watching the parts with Jeed and Grace specifically because honestly, they don't have much character depth anymore, they're just bullies the whole time.
Most of the male characters were great to watch, I think one of my absolute favorites was Phun. I think White is a really good actor and I actually watched him in Theory of Love before watching this so it was interesting to see how his acting was before he hit 20. I really loved watching the relationship between all the boys in this series. All such good friends who have each others backs and try to give advice when they can. For being such young teenagers, I was sometimes surprised by how good the advice actually was. and even if they had no advice, it was still sweet to watch them comfort each other in silence.
I will say I know that this drama was released back in 2014-2015, so it's definitely older than most the BL's out there today. That's why when some of the drama started to seemed extremely childish and unnecessary, I gave it the benefit of the doubt because I know that not only are all the actors actually pretty young but they're supposed to be high schoolers so it makes sense for them to act like angsty teens.
I found myself questioning if a lot of the series was necessary to make and why it had to be as long as it was. I think there were some characters that were not needed and some relationships I didn't care to watch but I think overall I really did like this show. It surprised me to be honest. I had tried to start it a while back and just gave up because I couldn't find it in good quality and I felt a bit weird watching actors so young but I'm glad I gave it a second chance. Although I liked it a lot, I still want to say that had I watched it the year it came out, I probably wouldn't of complained as much as I did. It's actually quite perfect for what it is and when it was released. I know it's one of the first popular boys' love series to come out in Thailand and for that alone, it deserves praise.
I'm not sure if I'll ever rewatch it but you never know. I might wanna come back to these boys one day.
It's been a long journey for this one and I'm grateful for the ride.
