I have no complaints about the cast at all. Viola Mi's character (Xiang Nan) was just beyond annoying as the antagonist but she is an amazing actress (this is the first drama I saw her in). Her emotional scenes were spot on and I could really feel her inner turmoil. Of course, many said Maggie Jiang was kind of cold and unemotional but I actually thought she nailed her role as a strong career woman and she had huge character development to change her previously cold exterior. Nothing needs to be said about Jerry. I always love him in dramas, but I thought this role fit him a lot more (he's really adorable when he acts immature). Last but not least, Ron Ng (I saw him in Cantonese movies before), but this is the first time I saw him in a drama, and unfortunately he was dubbed but anyone who has second lead syndrome would definitely fall in love with him. The rest of the cast were great as well. There are the accomplices, the hilarious (and gossipy) office staff, a supportive mother, a disapproving father, and two comedic reliefs in the form of Ban Jie and Da Luo!
Music was really nice, albeit a little repetitive. I liked how they used some of JJ Lin's old songs. That being said, I even downloaded the OST so I guess it's pretty catchy!
Overall, I really recommend it. Re-watch value is alright because at 42 episodes, it's long! However, maybe I would watch it again a few months later, but I would definitely re-watch some of my favorite episodes. If your taste is anything like mine (meaning you're used to 'draggy t-dramas'-see previous reviews) and you can stand that for the cute OTP, then you will definitely love this drama. Of course, if you're a Jerry fan like me, you can't miss out on this drama either! (9.25/8)

I actually have nothing to complain about the main cast because I felt that they played their parts very well. Jerry Yan's immature/childish Li Tang made this drama turn into comedy (especially his outfits). Despite his childishness, I just found myself falling in love with him more and more. Maggie Jiang's Fu Fangsi is very inspiring and I'd love to be someone like her. She doesn't let anyone or anything stop her from pursuing her dreams. She's a rare breed in dramaland and more female characters should be created like her. Ron Ng's Yin Haoran may be your typical martyr-like second male lead but because of this kindness, his flaws were also revealed. Viola Mi's Cheng Xiangnan may be the annoying antagonist but it's not always rainbows and butterflies in a supposedly feel-good drama. It also shows that she's an effective actress! I also have to give credit to the supporting cast because they added elements of fun to the drama as well.
I LOVE the music in this drama. I’m not into CPop unless the songs were used in a drama so it was only recently that I discovered that some of the songs used in this drama were not new already. I have always known that JJ Lin is a great singer based on people’s opinions since I never got the chance to listen to his music so it was just great that I got to listen to his music because of this drama. My ultimate favorite songs are JJ Lin and Kym's "Waiting For Your Love" as the opening song and Wang Su Long's "If I Could Turn Back Time" as the ending song.
Will I rewatch this drama again? There’s a huge possibility that I will because I started and ended it with the mere focus of blogging about it. So next time, I’d probably watch it out of leisure/enjoyment. And why wouldn’t I want to rewatch the adorable and funny scenes especially involving Tang and Fangsi? Count me in!
The cinematography/editing of the drama was well done and of high quality and I wish more C-dramas would learn their lesson from this drama. It’s also important to note that the story pretty much revolved around the world of fashion which makes it refreshing and pleasing to the eyes! Most importantly, the story’s really enjoyable to watch because of the splendid cast (both main and supporting). Overall, I recommend this to anyone who's just up to watching a refreshing C-drama in terms of its quality and theme.

Aside from his on screen heart melting smiles, Jerry Yan can really act. He can play a high power Hotel Tycoon in Loving Not Forgetting, and now he can just as easily play a quirky, Fashionista CEO. New comer to the China drama scene, Ron Ng, was also very good. I loved watching him in HK dramas and he did not disappoint in this drama. He usually plays a really good guy, he played a more mature part in this drama and became a bad guy as well as good guy.
I like the female main actress, played her part well as a confident fashion designer. Her stubbornness to accept & forgive Jerry Yan, drove me and I'm sure many others crazy. Lots of female antagonists in spades. Back stabbing in every corner.
Overall, I really enjoyed this drama. It still can't beat LOVING NOT FORGETTING which I rewatched several times. Therefore the 9.

As for the music in the series, there is nothing to attach to. The music here is a complement to the acting game and the emotions that take place on the screen.
There are many characters in this drama. I liked the actor Ng Ron the most - he played the role of Yin Hao Ran. It seems to me that his character in this series is the most underestimated and the most disadvantaged one. I was very sorry for him after the drama was over.
In this drama, we will also experience the most irritating black character I have encountered. Mi Viola plays the role of the beautiful Cheng Xiang Nan - models, who want's everything. Men, love, fame, money and power. No matter what your cost.
Fu Fang Si is an undecided character who wants the best for her new brand, but on the other hand, her old love appears and she no longer knows what to do. Furthermore, the problems which fall on her, even more, force her to make any decisions.
The series is a mirror of many female fantasies with a rich, handsome, man and great professional career. It is recommendable.

In terms of the characters- the cast melded well with their characters that their spots made it believable and cohesive to the entire storyline- making well use of the common wing man presence in chinese/taiwanese dramas, they were not tiresome but rather took care of the humor mosaic needed when the main actors have to do the heavy scenes, they provided the spots of relief since it is a long drama at 42 episodes.
As for the character I fell in love with- my eye is now on the look out for the guy who played hao ran, its the first time II'll be actively looking for a taiwanese actor's previous and future projects since for me, his portrayal had the most impact in terms of solidity- he was likeable without losing his coolness factor and I really felt that in a way, his character is the only one I wanted more out of. I never knew I would like such a wily character, a pleasant revelation!????

I'm kinda embarrassed to say that
this is one of my favourite dramas of all time I know I know it's not that good it's also very cliché and you can really predict the whole story but I think there's something so special about it that I just can't seem to point my finger at.idk if it's my scary obsession with Jerry Yan or if the show is really enjoyable but i have rewatched this show like 10 times since I first saw it in 2018 I keep remembering it every now and then and then rewatch it again and cry the same amount of tears in the same scenes.
the dynamic was very toxic but I still loved it and I love when they end up together at the end it just warms my heart.
its one of my favourites and it's shitty and it's angsty but it's fun and I think you might like it if you gave it a chance with an open mind

I not sure what anyone else thinks, but this drama had me hooked
Over all I have re watch this drama over 40 times, some of it was a little slow but the story really holds up every time I watch it, I all laughs, cry(during the flashed backs mostly) and get angry, I feel for the mains and all the miss understandings the main couple had though out the whole show. I feel like the ending really well done and it didn't over did it. I love all the flashbacks cause it really got you to understand what the main couples even better.Only issues I had was the other woman who just didn't know when to stop and kept blaming very bad thing that happen to her on the main woman (that really had me wanna slap a bitch)

Leads really act well!!! All four of them. They have the chemistry and I need to give extra credit to the actress of Cheng Xiang Nan ??? for her brilliant acting as the inferior jealous lady.
We cannot deny how JJ Lin music is so addicting. I literally just sings it every time his songs comes out, especially when something good happens in the drama and I will be sooooooo happy.
Rewatch value is low cause it's too long and to be honest, nothing to rewatch.
This is really a great drama to watch for a modern mature love story. A story about dreams and love. Not suitable for those who are searching for a fluttering moment though.

This is a drama labeled as romance. It is more a romantic comedy that failed in the romance department. First of all, although there is a great character development for the leading characters, it takes forever! The leading male, Li Tang (Jerry Yang), portrays a man with “Peter Pan syndrome”, an adult who is socially immature, and supposedly unreliable. Jerry Yang does a great job delivering this character but his childish demeanor is overloaded with weird facial expressions and tiring playful attitudes which diminish his high level intelligence and problem solving ability. On the other hand, the leading lady, Fu Fang Si (Maggie Jiang), is a fashion designer with low emotional intelligence who mostly cares for her fashion label because of its attachment to her deceased father. For most of the drama, she is constantly bickering with Li Tang and blaming everything on him. Granted that he keeps a lot of things from her, but she is impulsive and quick to condemn him while she is very understanding and forgiving of everyone else that has stab her on the back. By the very end of the drama, and having been through thick and thin together, they grow to understand, love, and appreciate each other; but the journey only gives the viewer great playful interactions between the lead couple, masterminded business antics with conniving antagonists, and a flat romantic chemistry between Jerry Yang and Maggie Jiang. Although, most of the time, the leading couple’s story is full of banter and misunderstandings, they get their happy and successful ending. The rest of the cast did very well bringing their characters to life. Ron Ng (as Yin Hao Ran) and Viola Mi (as Cheng Xiang Nan) were also excellent portraying their heavy laden and complicated antagonistic characters. Overall, with patience and tolerance of some over-theatrical acting, the drama is entertaining enough while waiting for a great one to come! Was this review helpful to you?
I have stopped following his shows for some time now because he wasn't that natural in some of them. But for this one, he deserves an award. He has matured in his acting, is natural, and relaxed now.
I look forward to his next show.
