BEST HISTO FANTASY EVER
When i saw reviews with 1 or 2 stars , I really gritted my teeth. How can we miss a benevolent drama, with breathtaking ost and visuals, a great casting and a great story from beginning to end. Are you blind? This drama is unique. The only one like this. I loved the chemistry , visuals, ost, story , art, everything. I enjoyed every screen moment because the actors give me butterflies and happiness . I cant understand the bad reviews . I think a lot of people need repair their heart. It’s a cute story with dark fantasy added

Great with some plotholes that don't ruin the shop
A piece of history, a few scenes in See You In My 19th Life and I already want to turn on period k-drama! I love Joseon places dramas and it's been a while since I watched one. There is never enough adventures with Hyo-Seop Ahn !I fell in love with this series from the first episode. It featured everything I'm crazy about - children connected by destiny, mysterious creature, court schemes, loving couple despite being evil-faited and story twists at the end. The whole story is well organized and it was fantasic to watch! So far so good, this year I have a great streak of hitting brilliant dramas (ok ... part from 2 poor choices but the procentage is small ^^) and I hope it will be like this until the end of 2023!
Pluses:
+ Charming leads
+ Cast, secondary characters & acting
+ Detail and admiration of the art
+ Visuals & special effects
Minuses:
- Male lead behaves too much like a sighted person than blind one. Feels unrealistic
- Female lead plays too much of a woman of XXI century than Joseon dated one
- Weird and sudden receiving of the sight by female lead
- Unsatisfactory ending with a few unresolved issues
- Never expleined mystic creatures
Lovers of the Red Sky has some issues, nevertheless drama is a 7 for me. It was a great escape from the dramas of the present day which I am watching now. I love fantasy productions and I will probably never grow out of them ? Throw in romance, destiny and magic and I'm done! I'm sold! I watched the first episodes with bated breath as well as the last ones. The middle ones were slower but still intense. It's definitely not a drama to take nap ?

Good but not great
The theme was overall great however they lacked on presenting. The flashbacks were reasonable if you're forgetful (as the episodes were released twice a week) but as I binged watch this I got irritated. From my standpoint, the romance looked compelled however, they pulled it off on the ending. The actors were impressive especially the main leads and the child actors, they introduced the characters so well.
Many absurd scenes happened about Ha-Ram's blindness but the truth is he is not completely blind instead, he has achromatopsia.

The casting of the drama is exceptional, I watched this drama firstly because of Kim Yoojung, the queen of historical dramas, and Ahn Hyoseop, who I've been a fan of for a while. The leads did great but I feel like, I mean Ahn Hyoseop did mention this in interviews, there were times where Ahn Hyoseop forgot he was blind? It was weird when he would look and maybe? accidentally make eye contact? but otherwise their acting was top notch like always.

Had a good star but then...
I think the drama started well but declined halfway to the end. The story seemed interesting at first but then became repetitive and it didn't seem to get out of place. The demon characterization of the main lead was pretty bad too. And Other thing I didn't liked that much was the prince, who started out as a cool character but turned out to be a boring character. I think for some people this drama can be very good but for me it was disappointing in these parts. But one thing I liked was the main leads and the couple. They really had chemistry with each other and I loved their characters since the beginning. Their end was very cute too.So yeah, I think it could have been better because the start was really captivating and the characters have chemistry with each other. But too bad that I got tired in halfway.

Not as best as i thought
I dont know why this drama has this much high rating ?.. I selected it becoz i love horror.. but i saw lot of comments about this drama.. this is master piece etc etc... but for me this is not good as i thought... drama has weakest male lead, i mean it is not actors fault it is the way that story written.. no turning point, we know whts going on from the start, no exitment at all, kind of draggy so i can not tell this is bestAs for acting itz ok cheun gi is actually good actress no arguments about it she did good job in this drama too
As for ha ram his character is written bit weakly by the way i did not get any feeling about him n his acting also look bit weak for me..
Actually 2nd lead steal the show his character is good n he took all attention from viwers, actually when he sad i feel tht too.. so he is the hero of the show..
As for others all of them had done thire best...
Music not noted
Overall itz not too good but not too bad either

Lover of the red sky
This is a movie that I love. Liked from main actor to supporting actor. And their acting is amazing. Besides, the content of the story is also very interesting. It's not perfect but I think it's one of the best dramas of 2021.The movie gave me a very happy feeling when I was waiting for Monday and Tuesday every week. Something I never liked before. Thank you Hong Chun Gi for giving me such a wonderful thing. Wish Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop more success. And I hope they do another movie together. Please

This drama has taken first place as my all time favorite historical drama...
I've been waiting for this drama for quite a while since seeing the trailer and the promotions and WOW. I guess I have an eye for incredible dramas. This one easily takes place as one of the best dramas of the year. I was beyond amazed for 1hr the detail given about the story & characters portrayed by an unbelievable cast of top actors young or old. The details that were put toward the location, set design, graphics & outfits esp Mawang, and the aura A++they didn't skimp. I won't lie some spoilers, but only in a story setup details. The storyline was so tragic from the beginning, how these two kids that just met and fell in love will have this destiny filled with heartbreak. It's basically star-crossed lovers but also fated lovers. I loved every minute of it.
The general plot is interesting with different elements of Korean folklore, fantasy, good vs evil, and of course, romance. However, the drama seems to have forgotten some of the side storylines that they introduced and never go back to tell us more. For example, how did ML become the richest man as an astrologer with no family support? It doesn't quite make sense. I would like to know how ML's bodyguard came to follow him, and what's the backstory of the gisaeng who wanted the king and the royal family dead. Although I like the happy ending for the leads, it does seem a little anti-climatic. Do we really need to end it with the palace power struggle and give us an open ending? Why waste the last few minutes on those bad guys still hunting down FL?
The biggest strengths of this drama is the cast and their great acting. It's no surprise that the veteran actors are great. Our young leads also did a very respectable job and I believe in their joy and heartaches. I am happy to see that she's grown up to be such a fine actress and I've enjoyed her acting here. I haven't seen any of her modern dramas though. I've seen Ahn Hyo Seop in "Abyss ". He has definitely grown as an actor as well, and this might be the best performance I've seen him. I also like his acting here, though he's not used well in the second half of the drama. However, I am especially impressed with our villain's second prince, Kwak Shi Yang. What a great performance by him that I feel bad for his suffering because of Ma Wang.
I absolutely loved the ending. I was happy that Cheon Gi and Ha Ram can finally just be together and be happy. Also, I loved the kinda cliffhanger where the two princes fight. Who knows maybe they are setting up for a spin off? One following Prince Yang Myung?
