Liar Lan mourns Xiaoxin. Lu Yi questions the Liar Lan's master. The master knows Lu Yi is too close, and drugs him. Jin Xia finds Lu Yi unconscious. Worried, she watches him, in his room, while Cen fu guards the door. When Lu Yi awakes, he does not remember Jin Xia. Thinking she is a stranger, lurking near his bed while he sleeps, he strangles her. Cen Fu pulls Jin Xia out and explains, based on how he addressed him, that Lu Yi seems to have forgotten the last 6 years. Cen Fu tells Jin Xia about some of Lu Yi's past. When Lu Yi begins to have pain, Jin Xia rushes back in to care for him. Seeing her genuine concern for him, he seems to start to trust her. The Master puts on a good act. Meanwhile Yang Yue and Shangguan Xi make drunk promises. In the morning, Shangguan refuses Yang Yue. Yang Yue, persists, but when he sees Shangguan is bothered by his attentions, he decides to leave. Yan Shifan becomes excited when he hears Dr Lin's name, then remembers when she stabbed his eye.
