Criminally underrated show
Honestly definitely in my top 4 shows. This could've been my favourite show if the budget was higher/it was remade, with the same story. This show starts off with an unexpected twist, but they move on from it pretty quickly, and the show stays good. My only complaint would be the acting, as a lot of the times, the acting was really lacking in some characters. Nonetheless, the story makes up for it. The last 2 episodes are some of the best last 2 episodes I have ever seen. The story was honestly outstanding. The ending was extremely satisfying, giving me shivers with the last scene. Not only was the ending satisfying, but it was also super realistic. I didn't know an ending could be so good and be both. At first, I thought the show would be better off as 20 episodes, but after seeing the ending, it didn't really matter. I wish some of the songs were real since they all really good. Hope they are on Spotify, but I doubt it. Even when I really thought something bad was going to happen, after it ended, it turned out to be a good thing. There are moments where you want to drop the drama, but if you get through it, it'll be worth it.
Recommendations:
I don't think I have ever watched a show like this, but if you want another extremely good school drama, I would recommend Moorim School.

Perhaps this is a weird way to describe it. But this drama is full of genuine moments. They just did everything right to make me feel the intent and the emotion of the scenes.
Right from the start these boys are a lot of fun. They're such good pals and they get along so well. They're camaraderie is top notch. I liked how the drama showed how connected they are in the little things.
They're rebels who like to use their fists when they're not making music. But they know how to keep each other in check.
So the boys get transferred to a posh school and of course you have powerplays among the students. These kids act like total gang members with their formations and their hierarchies.
I like the perspective that the boys might be a lot of trouble but they are sincere.
“They're scary, dirty, and it's best to avoid them.”
The way the boys transformed themselves for the sake of the school was really funny. It was sad to see them lose some of their team spirit as the drama went on and they got more demoralised. But of course if you don't see them fall apart then we'd never get to see how easy it is for them to forgive and forget. Also, when one of the big crises happens, it was really awesome to see how unreactionary they were to betrayal and how quick they were to hear his side of the story.
Ji Hyuk
“Why are you so fixated on your friends?”
“Cause without them, I have nothing.”
Sung Joon's character might have been the right hand man but he is connected to all the boys the most. The band says he's the most wild out of all of them but he's also the most soft-hearted. I was surprised at what a gentleman he is.
Ji Hyuk understands what makes people tick. Despite his foolish impulsivity, there's not a lot that slips by him.
Hyun Soo
L is actually a really great actor. His character is the grumpiest and the most uptight. His icy demeanour and his sneer is aces. He pulls off the slow blink really well.
Do Il
Do Il is the most loyal to Ji Hyuk and probably the least hyper out of all of them. He's very calm and doesn't say much. I did like him quite a lot.
Seung Hoon
“The thing I like the most about Seung Hoon is his anger management skills.”
I like this character. He was a great personality for Ji Hyuk to clash with and bounce off. He's the kind of guy that you say, “There's a reason he's the leader.” He's not just on a powertrip and he's full of surprises. I really liked that his infatuation with Su Ah wasn't as shallow as I initially thought.
What happens to him really gave me goosebumps.
The Girl
Su Ah can be annoying with her weak voice and demeanor but she does have her moments. Why does she talk like she's in a historical drama and half stoned? She is so dull.

But overall I think the whole story is wholesome I like the bands' friendship and all of the music in this drama are lovely. My last drama for 2021 and I'll give it a 6/10.

Not enough meat on the bone
This was an enjoyable watch for a while. It had a warmth and heart to it I responded positively to and I was curious to see how the story and the characters were going to develop. However, I eventually became bored with it. The story is thin and cliched and the characters are two dimensional at best. The actors playing the boys in the band had an appealing natural chemistry with each other but that wasn't enough to compensate for how uninteresting they ultimately turned out to be as individuals and how rote their personal journeys were. This probably would have been a perfectly pleasant movie or miniseries but it was too shallow to sustain itself as a 16 episode drama. Was this review helpful to you?
I loved everything in it, it was sad, touching, loving, and it showed to the world how true friendship should be in the real world, i have no words, i couldnt stop watching episode after episode, definetely recommended to EVERYONE!!!

Although I loved Flower Boy Ramyun Shop, I do think that this drama is better than the former. The actors are handsome and the actresses are so-so. I especially loved Lee Hyun Soo. He has captured my heart.

judging by the trailer u definitely knew it was going to be about rock and probably a dark drama but yeah... it kinda is. however this wouldn't be drama if it didn't have sad or dark moments and truthfully it has more happy moments than sad. you'll see your self crying then just after awhile you'll be giggling and smiling because of that one particular character that lights up the drama's mood that makes you love the show more than you thought it would.
in the end the actors, music, plot, and romance is daebak

Most Underrated Korean Drama
This is one of two dramas that had me in tears through out the story! It was amazing, watched it three times already and I am still not done re-watching it. The music was catchy and perfect! The bromance was like no other and I doubt I will ever see a drama where the bromance is this extreme and sincere. Highly recommended!
It was such a good drama and I know that I keep repeating it but it just really is. One of the best dramas I've seen this year and in a long time. The drama made me rage in anger, smile widely at its cuteness, cry for hours, feel frustrated over their decisions but...tested my sense because the situation was both right and wrong. Overall the conflicts in this drama had a moral for every lesson and I for one learned a lot. I learned some valuable lessons in this drama: trust, communicate, and being there for one another.
I AM REALLY HOOKED IN EYE CANDY..
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

devo dire che di romanticismo c'è ben poco e che la storia è basata maggiormente sull'amicizia, che per me non ha prezzo
