Arisu—a listless, jobless, and video-game-obsessed young man—suddenly finds himself in a strange, emptied-out version of Tokyo in which he and his friends must compete in dangerous games in order to survive. In this strange world, Arisu meets Usagi, a young woman who’s navigating the games alone. Together, they set out to unravel one mystery after another as they risk their lives and confront what it means to live.

Both are survival show

Both of the dramas plots are following a story in which humans have mutated and the people how haven't must fight to survive in an apocalyptic setting.

Happiness is still a new series, but still it gives the same vibe as Sweet Home.
In both of them there is a disease that infects people.
In both when you get the disease you become a "monster"

Both are about fighting unprecedented plagues. They are thrilling with gore and horror. In sweet home, instead of zombies, the monsters, all of them are very unique.

lots of differences in plot/scenario/characters/themes between the two, but i found they frequently gave me quite similar vibes, plus both are well worth your time (especially because neither are very long):
>> fast-paced horror/thriller genre
>> a group fighting for survival in a single confined space (apartment building vs train, for good portion of the movie)
>> 'infected' monsters whose main purpose is to kill humans
>> starts off very action-based, but become a lot more about people and their decisions as the storylines progress - huge amount of heart-breaking potential!
>> similarly, touching and very human moments amongst the bloodshed, as well as plenty of character growth/development
>> large cast of characters (some you'll love, some you'll hate) that will definitely end up shrinking... with brilliant acting all round
>> side-eying the military/questioning the bigger picture

End of world monster mutation survival story. I think both have quite similar monster cgi portrayals. The main character is able to control his inner monster in some way.

After a sudden influx of humans developing a series of symptoms, one-by-one they rapidly turn into creatures that feast on humans. Both Sweet Home and #Alive are set in an apartment building whereby their residents try to survive against the apocalypse. In addition, both male main characters find out about the details of the world's situation through the internet and seeing the carnage with their own eyes. Both try to survive on their own inside their apartments at first but find themselves going outside their doors eventually to face the situation.

The feel is kinda similar.
Also both are quite dark and has a few deaths in them.
There's a male lead that has some kind of power that makes them special and able to fight against the ...whatever's evil.

Both dramas are about a normal world suddenly being swept with a virus that turns humans into monsters. Packed with suspense and horror, if you liked one you'd like the other.

Not necessarily related but lovers of one show might enjoy both.
Both have that sci fi element mixed with fantasy and monsters.

Similar premise where main character moves into a new apartment and notices strange things happening. Both are Webtoon adaptations.
There are more key differences than similarities like:
- Strangers from Hell is darker and more of a psychological horror story.
- main character in Strangers from Hell changes for the worse
- Sweet home mentions monsters (of the supernatural kind i suppose), whereas Strangers from Hell has nothing supernatural, just weird and creepy.
- in Strangers from Hell, the main character doesn't have any true allies to help him, unlike the main character in Sweet Home
- you can probably watch Sweet Home with your light off, Strangers from Hell? maybe not so much
