There is such like a real dating class in a university as the synopsis says? I wish we have such like that during my college years! This short drama (16 episodes but only 15 minutes per episode) are short and sweet, but gives us great tips on dating. They are not applicable only for teenagers and college kids but for adults as well. Many issues are wonderfully portrayed here, such as toxic relationship, breakups, parenting, homosexuality, etc. The six main roles play different type of personalities. The actors/actresses though most of them are newbies in acting, but I think the director did a remarkable job directing their performance. The editing is also very well done seaming the variety of scenes for every character's stories. There is no any boring scene that can be skipped. Although there is no OST made specially for this drama or sung by any of these actor/actresses (many of them are singers) but the music are well placed between scenes. As requested by some viewers, I do not think we do not need Season 2 as most dating problems are addressed adequately here. The rewatchable value is high as it's short enough for binge watching.

Web dramas kind of have this stigma of being less serious and really just insignificant in their storytelling, but Dating Class really surprised me in its quality. Kudos to tvND for stepping it up and using the web-drama platform to tell refreshing and genuine stories.

I started Dating Class thinking it'd be a typical web drama, rife with cheesy and predictable tropes. Instead, I got very real (well, as real as you can get in a short, lighthearted series) college characters that sort of defied the typical romance tropes set up for them.

I also thought the acting was really great, and think the idol actors really pulled through here. The entire cast was just so wonderful and charming.

While I really thought the ending was lackluster, I loved a majority of the episodes, and would love a season 2!

Necessary Dating Education was refreshing to watch, it was a fun college drama with substance and i really looked forward to the new episodes every week.
Despite the fact that most of the actors are kpop stars the acting is very good.
This show is funny, entertaining, and plot-wise really well thought-out.
My only gripe was that the ending was somewhat rushed and did not give me all the closure I am looking for. Though if we get news of a second season this opinion will definitely change. I really did enjoy this and am really glad that I was able to find this webdrama.

Adorable, realistic and relatable! Must watch!

My very first review!

I was recommended this short drama as I was looking for something quick and lighthearted. What I thought would be a sweet and lighthearted rom-com actually turned out to be both educating and highly emotional. I even shed some tears. It was interesting to follow each of the the characters and their issues from their point of view, all having something to do with love or relationships. Their conflicts and the way they handled them were highly realistic as well. It gave me some understanding as I could relate to many of the characters and reflect their lives and emotions to my own lived experiences.

In summary, I very much enjoyed this short drama! Cute and humorous but also holding a deeper meaning. I liked the setting and the coulors as well as the suitable music, really setting the atmosphere. I absolutely think this drama is worth watching no matter age, gender or genre preference. You might learn a thing or two!

EASY TO WATCH BUT WITH A DEEP STORYLINE THAT WILL TEACH YOU SOME LESSONS.

Reading the synopsis I found the plotline very interesting, watching the first couple of episodes i wasnt very happy about the show, i think that the first 3 or 4 episodes were quite boring and i thought i should drop it, also i didnt really like any of the main characters, BUT after episode 5 i was very invested (especially about Joo Won). So i am glad i continue watching it .
The characters were at times really annoying but the storyline was good to keep me going. At first i found Eun Sol super annoying but episode after episode she grow on me! I thought that the storyline between Ji Young and Yoon Soo was going to be my favorite but they were really boring and i didnt really like them. Joo Won was my favorite character and her story with Ha Jun was the most interesting and the main reason i kept watching. Also Tae Jin was such a great character and i am happy we get to see a character with a storyline like this.
The character development for some characters was great and also the professor was a great character too.
The friendship between Joo Won and Eun Sol was the best thing in this show (way better friendship that Eun Sol and Ji Young and they had less screentime).

Good show, with so much more depth that i thought.

Show this in college to all

This is a short sweet drama which basically goes to the need of an after school special

It tells the somewhat realistic story of what ppl go through in a real relationship

No sugar coats no truly insanely toxic relationship. All 6 actors make u want to see more of them and wish this was longer but it really is good

The messages are there and its a really good message really good. All college kids should see and take something from this

Great show good acting music is nice but the message is so great

Little short Web Drama but it does the most

STORY:
A simple story based on a bunch of students attending a dating course. The idea seem weird and it is even weirder when the class turns into a coaching program for dummies to date someone. It starts slowly with the introduction of the different characters but when it is done, the drama takes a very good pace to tackle topics and matters that I was really not expecting to see. I was happy how the drama dealt with them in a simple and heartwarming way.

CHARACTERS/ACTORS:
- Ji Young, Eun Sol, Joon Won. Three girls. They have different personalities and styles. One is quiet and simple, one is original and looks playful, one looks strict and cold.
- Yoon Soo, Ha Jun, Tae Jin: Three guys. One is a caring nerd, one is an immature loving guy, one is a mysterious intimidating buy.
The characters are cute but they also become endearing as the drama make them meet various issues and answer questions regarding dating and relationships with others. All of them looked realistic and humans. Throughout the class some of them find each other some won't just like in life.

MUSIC/OST: I enjoyed it.

REWATCH VALUE: Probably not but not because it is not good.

OVERALL: If your watch list is empty or you are stucked between two dramas and wish to watch something fast and well crafted with good emotions, cute characters and cutes stories but also issues of relationships, this drama is made for you.

The plot was honestly a LOT more profound than I expected, and I was so glad that the story didn't just focus on romantically pairing people up. My favorite storylines were that of Jiyoung and Taejin (wanted more of his :( ).

I did feel like the pacing was a little rushed at the end (to be expected for a webdrama) and I definitely liked the second half better than the first. Some of the characters were very hard to get to — as cute as Eun-Sol was sometimes, her perpetual aegyo and general preppiness was something I could not get behind, and her boy-craziness was something I knew I would DESPISE on someone I knew in real life. With that being said, though, she started growing on me when her story got a little darker, and I just wish this was explored more.

I loved Juwon and Yoonsoo as character types, but their background stories were a bit lacking.

Ultimately though, this drama was really not memorable. I can feel like it's kind of drama I'd forget a few weeks later.
