To be honest it broke my heart a little. I don't want to spoil anything, just watch it!
The synopsis does not tell a lot about the story and sounds a little bit boring, but trust me, it's good.
Seoyeon's choice surprised me a lot, didn't expect that AT ALL. At the beginning I found Minjae kind of creepy but then I understood what was happening.
The acting was great, they both did an awesome job portraying Seoyeon and Minjae. (In case you didn't know, both of them worked together in Thirty but Seventeen.)

A story of youths slowly diving into the world of adults
I dived into this drama without much expectations but this took me by surprise. The story is very realistic although undeniably sad at some point. It's about how 17-year old teens who's almost an adult but not quite an adult yet, deals with the reality of being an adult starting from how their parents are like. It didn't only grew on my heart but definitely earned a spot on my mind trying to reflect about what I've watched. The main leads, which are actually from Thirty But Seventeen, have a really good chemistry together. I also love that they made the male lead talking less and made his actions speak for him so the moment he talked much, I actually got goosebumps. The songs actually complimented the mood of the drama so there's nothing I can complain about it.
This definitely deserve a spot on my re-watch list. For those who are looking for not the typical lovey-dovey school romance, this is a good pick because although it's more on a serious note it gives an actual life advise and it still has a good plot that anyone can relate to.

The story was well presented, although the ending could have been better with a more complete and wholesome conclusion. Still, the story was more daring than other korean dramas, showing a tragic story of how two teenagers dealed with grownup problems and the grown ups around them.
The main plus of this drama is the pace. That was handled masterfully and the drama wasn't rushed as a result. The acting was brilliant as well, especially since the two main characters were so young. The story, finally, was touching, sad and interesting to follow.
So, overall, eight out of ten for this sort drama.

SMS parents
Well I liked this: it was depressing, melancholy, slow, long but ultimately uplifting! This drama has 4ep. on viki: awful subs when there are some, watch it elsewhere since there is a 2 ep SBS edit floating around with excellent subs!
The story follows two 17 yr old high school students trying to figure out life and understand their own parents and adults in general, and their attitudes. This lack of understanding and communication brings them to the brink of self destruction!
The pace of this mini drama is extremely slow and even I who relish in slow burn dramas, had an impression every episode vas double the duration! That's how slow it is! The mood is general depression: neither is saying much and hiding behind silences. The most poignant moment was when his mother talked about a condom she found in his jacket pocket through SMS. This speaks volumes about the loneliness kids feel even when surrounded by friends in school or by family. The boy never actually talks directly to his mother (absent father as well) but they communicate through phone messages even when they are in the same house! Sad, right? While the boy is struggling behind his taciturn expressions, the girl takes a radical way of reballing in order to feel something and make her own mother notice how unhappy she is.
Unfortunately, nothing makes an impact on adults who are too wrapped up in their own lives to notice the unhappiness of their own children. Luckily, even though they were in same school and class, the boy and the girl never really knew each other. A fortuitous string of accidental encounters, pushes them towards each other and eventually, they talk and help each heal.
The actors are subtly portraying the solitude and unhappiness of these kids.
This is a very good drama, again depicting the hell korean kids go through because of their parents. It is a worthy watch but you need to be in a good place for it since it is rather bleak and depressing. The ending saves the day!

APPRECIATE
Super short series. Looks dull and boring but if you can appreciate its beauty and what the show is trying to say, wow . 'When do we become adults?' though the show could be longer and have a more storylines, 4 episodes is enough to do so. It shows us how teenagers think nowadays and adolescents grow up, going through many thoughts, school, academic, family problems. As I'm also 17, I could probably relate to it as well so it stayed in my heart after watching it. Park Sieun (FL) was really prettyyy in this show omg (my bias) ... FL goes through stress and pressure to play well as a pianist from her divorced mother and her father who marries his mistress, and goes through sexual harrassment but she doesn't care so she becomes a call girl and accidentally meets the ML as he founds out about her secret. ML goes through heart break and disappointment to see his mother cheating on his father.. Two meet each other through fate and coincidence as he has a crush on the FL but both wants to end their lives. At the end, they talked to each other heart to heart when they were about to end their lives at Oi-do and feels bad for their parents so they head back.. and they held hands AHHHH beST PART at the end and fell asleep on the train back to Seoul with their heads lying on each other's shoulders implying they rely on each other now !! This drama needs you to read between the lines and appreciate the plotline to fully understand what's going on so it's prob why many gave this a low rating as they didn't rly understand and appreciate. But this deserves a higher rating for sure. The cinematography was amazing,it was dark but aesthetically pleasing as well. The OST fits well as well with the melo sad music, really like the song ^^ . Anyways 9/10, Sieun debuted with STAYC so idk if we can see her again acting in more shows but I hope soWas this review helpful to you?

My main issue with this show is the ending. I'm not going to spoil anything, but it was a bit confusing to me. I wasn't sure what the actual message was that the story was trying to tell and I had several questions not answered. For that reason, I couldn't give it a higher score.

Everything and nothing
Why I choosed to watch it? First reason - Park Si Eun, I really like her in Stayc and when I heard she was also an actress I just needed to check it out - and yes she was amazing.Second reason - it is short, 4 episodes for 0,5 hour - yes, binge-watching worthy.
But it is not a happy, smiley show, there are meaningful and sad topics but definitely something worth watching.

a process of growing, being an adult.
everything and nothing is a simple story between two 17 year old students that has their own secrets that they don't want people in their circle to know about. yes, it is simple but heartbreaking at the same time because on how fast they have to grow up. not everyone has a happy family and be worry free. it ended up with secrets being found between the two main characters. from barely knowing each other to knowing each other's little dirty secret and being each other's support.since the durable is only about 2 hours, it is packed and slightly more fast paced. personally, it would be fun to see more episodes where they explore more. how do the main characters develop from there? do they remain friends? or are they more advanced? it doesn't have to be an extra 12 episodes or anything, but maybe 3-4 more to develop.
the acting to me was great. the pair of main young aspiring actors are park sieun who is currently in stayc and yoon chanyoung who is gain more popularity from all of us are dead. (but i tend to find him very monotone in his acting somehow...) these two have great chemistry together due to past three shows that they have worked on. these shows are 'pluto squad', 'still 17 / 30 but 17' and 'six flying dragon'. i am waiting for another drama between them where they are main leads.
the rating gives little to no justice because on my take, i do really enjoy this little drama or movie. if you're curious, feel free to watch it! there are must twist and turns for you to unbox and watch!

The wonderful thing is that it owns the same length of a movie, so are two hours, two hours were there's a wonderful story.
Don't think that is the classic teen drama where all is funny and cheesy, forget these things, because here is the opposite.
There's sadness, suicide thoughts, betrayal and the hard passage between the teen years into the adult ones!
The end shocked me so much because was totally unexpected, the cast was perfect they made a really, really wonderful work.
Absolutely raccomended because these two hours are worth the their time!
