Enemy to the heart, turns out the direction to become lovers isn't too far.

Since I have nothing better to do, why not make a whole review revamped about my favorite lakorn Jark Sadtroo Soo Hua Jai (English Translation: From Enemy to the Heart)

Something to make clear: This is a slap kiss lakorn but sometimes people don't think so, imo definition in slap kiss there are forced kisses, forced seduction, and some sort of makjang, male chases female first. Don't turn back though, since you'll find yourself relaxed even if there are forced kisses, the slap kiss level on this is medium (more bolder than Kluen Cheevit, but less than Hua Jai Sila). So don't get warned with all of the slap kiss tags on there.

I'm deciding to make my review medium sized since it was a long one and I decided that making another review for my favorite lakorn is the best.

One word since I'll use this A LOT: Chemistry.

That's right chemistry makes it. The chemistry between Aum and Mik is burning hot that it burned my soul and body. They have the best chemistry in Channel 7 and though this is subjective, many people did love their chemistry and I might be the number one fan that loves the chemistry, of course again chemistry is subjective and people may have their picks.

If you somehow decide to torture yourself and miss out on this lakorn, by dropping it don't. Stay until at least episode 7 and if you don't feel the chemistry, your a tortured soul (Just Kidding, Am I? LOL).

Mik Thongraya as Jett I'll give 5 words since this is supposed to be a short review: Caring, Protective, Possessive, and madly in love with the female lead, oops I went over limit.

Aum Patcharapa as Sophita this time I will really give 5 words: Cold, Protective, Business Minded, Family Minded and oh a professional in rejecting Jett's feelings. (Just so you know there is a good 10 episodes where she decides that she likes the male lead, while he falls first in episode 5 or you think of it as 1 LOL).

Both of them have done the best, of course many Aum lakorns aren't subbed but she is the queen of lakorns in Thailand I don't know how well she acted in other lakorns but to this day I consider this as her best lakorn and Mik's as his best and my favorite, along with their best performance to date of what I saw with them. Mik thongraya is my second favorite actor in Thailand, and Aum is one of my favorite actresses due to this lakorn, that's how much chemistry lasts.

I don't think anyone could replace their chemistry and they are my top OTP in lakorn land and one of my top's in all of Asian drama land.

Supporting characters did what did they, gave us relief since there were many intense moments here. The villain's were stiff although I'd say Rawin did make a impact on me with his acting, and the twist to the villain is great. Rin did a great job as well.

Even after this airing in 2020, and now 2021 I still think this has a very unique plot, I LOVE IT! Hmu if you find something like this.

There were many sweet moments between the leads and I would say this did really focus on romance but with a touch of the action with the side. Jett imo, is a very twistable character so if you get annoyed or fearful of him at the start, understand that he is nothing compared with normal lakorn male leads, despite the forceful kisses and there isn't rape here although a uncomfortable almost willing.

The music is chef's kiss like the lakorn is, the title song represents the lakorn. The song by Nam Kula I had it on repeat, the first one just showed that Jett felt like he was in a one sided love waiting and waiting for the Sophita, and I outright loved it. The song by Lula shows Sophita's wavering in hate from love and I loved it.

This has a happy ending and I don't want to spoil more I already gave off plent.

Watch this give this a try, it's my favorite lakorn it can become yours too. There's nothing wrong with trying this, I mean I even made a review twice you can see my dedication into getting you to watch this, and usually Moonlight is the laziest person on earth.

I've rewatched this about 30 times so far and yes I'm crazy, I feel shy admitting this, I need wine now. The rewatch value is high for me and the chemistry doesn't die down EVER, oh and this has steamy kisses in lakorn world where we get half as**d kisses.

Have a glass of vodka because the starting is very hyped up and enjoy watching!

(Wait this got too long, OH SORRYZ (it was supposed to be short at first T-T)

Buckle up to watch her worst enemy become her one and only love!

First of all, I’m thankful to a good friend of mine who recommended this to me during the holidays because hands down, this for me was the best Thai lakorn of 2020. It had all the elements that I love in a drama, a perfectly executed storyline, BGM/OSTs, production, even the actors and actresses did a fantastic job portraying their characters. Mainly, it’s one of the storylines that makes you binge watch, guessing all the possibilities and see the mysteries unfold slowly without having to go through boring or fast forwarding moments.

This drama is a perfect combination of romance, comedy, action, and of course, mystery/suspense. The storyline revolves around a hitman who gets assigned to kill the elder sister of his ex-girlfriend (You’ll know the reason why), but instead of killing her, he becomes the person who protects her from all the evil encounters. Even though both leads are met with many misunderstandings, their hate-to-love relationship grow into something special as they both unfold the mysteries behind the FL's younger sister’s death, illegal drug smuggling case within the FL’s company, their own misunderstandings, etc. I would strongly recommend you to watch this because I really do not want to spoil you with anything else. Mainly because this lakorn has 19 episodes and the storyline is the main thing that keeps you in suspense until the very end.

When it comes to the actors and actresses, I will be honest and say I was not a huge fan of both the leads. I have watched Mik in some of his previous lakorns, so to me, he was pretty average. After this lakorn, my thoughts have completely changed because ladies and gentlemen! Mik can act! His role here as the bad-ass, kind, caring, protective, smart, and mainly, ROMANTIC bodyguard will make you fall for him! When it comes to the FL, instantly I felt annoyed with her voice because it is my first time watching her. However, trust me on this, everything else about this drama will make you forget about the negative aspects of the FL! Especially the romantic, funny moments between the leads! Their chemistry is on fire guys! Other than that, you will also come across lovable side characters and of course, the evil ones with many secrets! By the way, this lakorn does not focus on a secondary couple (although there are few cute/funny moments between a potential couple), but mainly, you will adore the bromance between our ML and his cute, ride-or-die best friend, Pong. Pong will be one of your favorite characters for sure!

Last but not least, the production of this lakorn was amazing! The OSTs and BGM adds so much flavor and intensity to this lakorn. For example, some of the action scenes reminded me of k-dramas like The K2 due to the intensity factor.

With that being said, I would highly recommend this lakorn to anyone! This will be a memorable one in my list because I laughed A LOT, shed some tears, and let’s just say I fell hard for this lakorn (Let’s not forget Mik hehe). Hope to see more storylines like these in the future.

The best, The best Lakorn ever.

Oh my God. This is the best lakorn I have ever watched. For the first time watching Thai drama, I saw a real kisses scenes, not only fake as usual. We are in 2021 and I know Thailand people has their way of thinking but the made lakorn for everybody and I think maybe, the next lakorn will get better in this way.

What a chemistry between lead actors. The storyline is excellent. A least a lot of kisses, and real good ones. A long and beautiful ending. Mik is gorgeous. This lakorn has romance, chemistry, fun, revenge.
Totally worth it.

Both are beautiful together, dynamic duo

Very intense drama. Became my most favorite larkon. Definitely something we can binge-watch
Not the typical story of Stockholm syndrome, Spend more time together eventually falling in love. Has soo much depth.
FL: Very independent and daring character. Stood up herself most of the time and definitely not a damsel in distress. Starting off with hating ML coz she thinks her sister died coz of him and gradually understanding him, trusting him and eventually falling in love with him. Loved how she projected her conflicted feelings, coz she can't help herself loving the ML even though she thinks she shouldn't and deep down she believes he is a good person.
ML: Ex shooter, strong ML. Even though he is not at fault had to go through soo much shit in life just coz he is unlucky. Everything a ML should be: strong, protective, loving, kind, bad-ass etc.
Chemistry: FIRE!! the progress/process is very lovely to watch. Felt believable. Didn't even feel the age gap. they are 14 years apart, can you believe that??
Acting: The ML's nailed it! they were soo cute together. Aum was so beautiful portraying the arrogant but caring businesswoman. And MIK, do I even need to tell anything abt him? no right? .thought so
The villains are good all over. Trying to project rawin as the main villain and him turning out to be a coward is a good twist
Not one boring moment overall. Wanted to write a huge review but don't want to spoil more than I already did
Definitely, a rewatch worthy drama. Talking from experience, watched it at least 3 times.

ML top, FL flop

Minor spoiler ahead, read at own discretion.

Up to the very end I still can't stand the female lead. There is stubbornness and there is being a spoiled, stupid brat. She is the latter. She makes me crazy lol. I feel like the ML is wasted on her. He saves her again and again and she can't even muster the decency to say thank you properly and constantly insults him. Even when she first meets him as a "hitman", she does nothing but be rude and insulting and then goes pikachu face when he so much as takes a threatening step towards her. Like girl... you screech at a guy with a gun pointed at your head and do the best to aggravate him but you act surprised if he doesn't want to take your crap? She is a brainless bimbo without common sense apparently lol. ML has been SO understanding and reasonable at all times. Even sane, peaceful people would have slapped her normally after all the abuse she hurls at him. But he just takes it all and the most he ever really does is threaten her with words and walk away from her. She walks all over him again and again and again. Ugh... It's like the reverse of all the slap kiss drama with overaggressive MLs... Here you have super b*tchy, aggressive FL and a ML too good to be true. The plot is good but I really wish the FL was more likeable.

Her type of crazy/unreasonable reminds me of Piak of the lakorn Kleun Cheewit. She acts worse than Piak. Piak at least was more or less tolerable towards normal/unrelated people but here FL treats everyone like subhumans and servants below her, firing everyone left and right and being a dumb rich heiress with no actual skill, being all arrogant because daddy has money and is putting you at the top of the company he built. Even in the company she can't really do anything...? From what I saw of her she just presents the work of her subordinates as hers and is incapable of even getting the respect of the share holders, sitting there like a small child being scolded instead. What did she ever do? We never see her be competent in her job or witty. She jumps head first into danger all the time but has no actual qualifications or talents to deal with any problems..? Neither in private or in the job... I guess she was supposed to be a "strong" female lead but for me she just seemed spoiled and dumb.

While not as prominent with others, the dumbness is an aspect that bothered me on more characters too. Example: If you have digital evidence of something, you not just give it to someone else without copying it.. I couldn't take this serious haha.

The plot and other characters could have otherwise made this a 8-9 for me, but with FL being the way she is, this was a 6.5 sadly. The acting was good (FL's acting was okay too, it was more the portrayed character that bothered me), the only bad acting for me was Pong.. It seemed over the top and forced at times. I didn't really feel the romance between the main characters. I don't think it was an acting issue though, more that I simply cannot see how these 2 characters could love each other.

As troublesome as it looks, YOU WON'T REGRET WATCHING IT

A WELL EXCECUTED SLAP AND KISS. This drama was so beautiful
STORY
the story is one hell of a roller coaster and sincerely if you aren't patient enough, you'll probably miss a good one. Mind not the slap and kiss tag, it doesn't exist much in this drama I'll tell you that. I love the suspense, the angst, the action and the romance they all balanced each other so well. It even beat me at my drama investigation skills, and you'll definitely receive some pleasant and unpleasant surprises, and secrets . I love how the villains were portrayed in this drama, they were each others poison. They got what they deserved mainly because they kept setting traps for each other. They literally dug their own graves and it gave us the satisfaction of seeing all the enemies get what they deserve. The story was simply too good.

CAST AND ACTING
This is my second Mik drama, Sapai Import being the first which I watched a week ago, I just had to get a taste of his hotness again and he didn't disappoint. His character as Jet was a very beautiful one. His protectiveness, loyalty, love and respect towards Sophita and her whole family was just amazing. Sophita despite how batshit crazy she was for the first half of the drama, proved to be a very innocent and strong woman who just wanted the best for her family and the people she loved, she was just really horrible at showing it and had a hard time trusting people. I love how naturally her feelings for Jet developed. As for the side characters, Loyal secretary Tuptim, Cute and lovable best friend Pong and the others, they were all wonderful people. Their acting was also really good as I was immersed in all their characters. The villains, especially Kreetha and Rawin performed so well because I hated them so much. They raised my anxiety so good, haha.

Music
That song from enemies to the heart was so beautiful. This is one of those dramas that you'll be singing along even though you don't know the lyrics. I appreciate catchy music in dramas more than anything.

Re-watch value - Maybe years later when I've forgotten all about it

All in all, its an amazing drama and I advice everyone to please watch it. You wont regret it

Strong relationship building and great chemistry between ML & FL, live up to reviews

I am impressed. I was completely unprepared for how good this was. With one of the smartest ML ever written in lakorn land. FL is not a pushover (quite the opposite) and has character development. We may not agree with her methods regarding her younger sister but placed in her shoes, we can see why she took those actions.

In this lakorn, many characters are well-written and multi-faceted. Typically for many lakorns I will play at 1.20-1.5s speed when its not featuring the ML & FL especially as the episodes progress. But I found myself slowing down to 1x speed for almost the entire episode after Ep11 because the events were griping enough that I didn't want to speed through it. Almost never happen unless its a small handful of the top lakorns for me. Although its true the last 2 episodes felt tagged on and unnecessary (easily condensed into 1 episode instead).

This is my first Mik Thongraya lakorn, now I understand his appeal.

Male Lead is just amazing ...it feel like just watch him without blinking ...

i am big fan of mik thongraya..since when i marry a stranger because it was my first drama of him...as Kade character he was awesome ...i ghave watched almost every drama after that ..massaya..sapai import....inncoent lies ....and may more this was my recent drama because i was feeling i was not getting enough entertainment...but this drama ...wowww..what a story ...what a chemistry between leads....justamazing...Mik and Aum have nailed it......I always prefer this story that started with hate and some sort of misunderstanding......hero gethired to killed female lead and he discovers she is his ex gf sister who is dead and hero was accused of killing her ...making her pregnant and letting her die...but in reality was there was someting more ......hero never wants to harm heroine because he respects his ex gf ...for her he decided to protect her from enemies...and its not only me i think if u will watch whole drama u will hate and get annoyed by female lead character from episode 1 to 8-9....at some point u will feel female lead sister should have survived ...for male lead ....heroine have justified her character but she is next level irritating.....
as hero enters in heroine life as her bodyguard from hired contract killer then everything changes,.......the way he turns protective for female lead is soo good...he loves her even after her stupidity and insulting his love for millions of time ..he never changes his mindset and never stops loving her...everything was amazing....
ost of this drama justified the whole drama situation...
if u want to watch this drama then go for it u will never get dissappointed...
only thing is thisis first drama where female lead is next level annoying .......
in personal i love Aum not this character sophita........
if u want to love female lead then start from episode 6......

Excellent story...but that final episode *facepalm*

Okay so I've never written a review before, and just had to with this one because right up until the final episode, things were going well. I'd have given this a better score if it wasn't for the ML's "best friend" the infantile, over the top, and totally unnecessary (imo) Phong *double cringe*
Firstly, the story itself was lovely I thought, a little break from the usual scream-fest Lakorns I've seen before, and I've seen a lot in the past year since I started watching Thai dramas. I mean sure it was nothing new in terms of story line, but both the main leads sold it for me, and even though the FL started off as this angry and arrogant spoilt princess, we at least get to see what her motivation is. Plus she grew on me, and I actually liked her by the end of the drama. Also, compared to the usual simpering idiot with mush for brains, and not a single independent thought FLs in most of the Larkons I've watched, she was a breath of fresh air, since we're shown her reasons for being the way she is, for the most part. I've seen a few dramas with the ML, and finished all but one, which I plan on going back to finish, and I liked his acting in all of them. Their chemistry was really great, and for once, a grown woman didn't suddenly and annoyingly shy away from the man she supposedly loves and act like a pre-pubescent teen who's never seen the male form before, each time he came within touching distance (the FL in Jao Sao Jum Yorm and Wiwah Fah Laep comes to mind. Both great dramas...but the FL, Lord *eyeroll*) of her. All other side characters were watchable, and moved the story along, except the ML's best friend, Lord, where do I even start with this ham sandwhich? His acting SUCKED, I don't know how else to put it. He was hamming through the whole drama, and at one point I hoped the older villain would just do us all a favour and put a bullet in his brain to end my misery. From the beginning, all his scenes were stupid and unnecessary and his overacting did not help matters one bit. His presence in the final episode made me skip through most of the episode because there is NO WAY on God's green earth I will believe that a grown ass man will comfortably crash his BF's honeymoon and be completely oblivious to how intrusive that is, like serious WTAF? Was the writer high on paint thinners when he wrote this stupidity in? Who does that?? Okay...end of rant, lol.
Watch it for the mains and other side characters, but feel free to skip through all the scenes with Phong, I promise you're not missing anything that adds to the drama.

Don't spoil your family because of your stubborn

Very good story line and very good casting. All of the scene are amazing. I like the OST song also. By the way Aum patcharapa and Mik thongraya have strong chemistry. Wish to see them in another lakorn. I like all of the casting who plays in the Jark sadtroo soo huajai. Well, it took me by surprise that Mik Thongraya's new "nang'ek" is 42 years old Aum Patcharapa, and that he is a gunman, supposed to kill her. I'm not a fan of 'Love To Kill' stories (my motto is" "Lakorn characters shouldn't use guns.") and also I thought Vill Wannarot & New Chaiyapol did a remake already so we're safe from that for some time. Watching episode 1, I'm afraid I laughed in the wrong places but did not know if I'm seriously going to watch this NINETEEN times. What I did know was that I didn't even want this to turn into romance, and that the tense middle-aged woman with artificial face and the 14 years younger whippersnaper motorbike-boy "killer" with too much facial hair make a terrible couple.

The casting feels wrong on other levels, too. Aum Patcharapa's "fiancee" is portrayed by 10 years younger actor who doesn't look much compatible with her. The main villain (Pete Thongchua) has a weird face like some mishap surgery and cannot act. Once again in unimportant side-role there is the charming Pym Pympan, who by the way is same age as Aum Patcharapa, yet doesn't have her perfectly ironed "forever young" face, therefore I am more at ease looking at her.

I watched (and am still watching;) many trashy lakorns. But I'm afraid this trash doesn't deserve reproach, it deserves to be IGNORED. Therefore, I'm done with this by 1 episode. I forfeit seeing Mik's "hot real kisses" with his plastic aunty... I know, there definitely will be some reviews praising it and calling it "chemistry":D Well, it is a victory of surgery advancement of our times:) And let's not forget many MDL users ARE the korean drama lovers (which is like the plastic surgery kingdom:) So don't mind me.
