Overall,i enjoyed watching this drama but the ending too sudden. I think chinese drama most of it,have sudden ending.Dont get me wrong.This drama have an happy ending but it is too sudden.I cant process the whole process then, thats it the ending.hahahaa
both Allen n Fair Xing have superb chemistry.But i want more.

Even without much kissing,Allen still can bring warmth,sweet scene with Fair Xing. Their acting was convincing.The first ep make me hooked n i cry when fair xing crying.T.T


If you want to see,warmth,sweet drama,this is a Great Choice for you.

Must watch

I loved this drama so much. I always keep going back to it. I cried so much watching this. The story is just amazing and done very well. The main characters have “known” each other for years because of an accident and don’t find out until later, but I feel like it adds more depth and understanding to the whole thing since they go a ways back. Even though there aren’t many romantic scenes with the main leads, you truly is the love they have for each other. The main male lead does seem cold throughout the whole series, but it’s because he’s pretty much told to not feel emotions. He isn’t allowed because it’ll hurt him. But we see him become a softy when he’s with the female lead later on which is absolutely adorable. I also like how the male lead’s best friend is always looking out for him. Even though he seems weird, he truly just wants the best for his best friend and will stay by his side no matter how much it’ll hurt him in the end. I highly recommend this drama. You’ll fall in love with it just like I did

A Sad Ending is More Ideal

A heart patient with a mechanical heart sounds very advance to me and at a point i have a sudden thought whether it will really work someday in the future?

A car accident ten years ago turned ML into a cold-hearted (like a lizard) person who always gets himself preparing for death as he understands that his mechanical heart will expired someday. He decided to live without love for the rest of his life until he met FL, who is a very optimistic girl who is very contrary to his character. FL claimed herself looks like a crow which is always deemed as bad luck until she met ML who turned away all the bad luck.

Nothing new on the story as when there's a point when ML give up on their relationship once he knows his hope to live like a normal person falls apart and his mechanical heart is near to lapse. This is always the part which I can't understand why whenever things like this happened, ML will forever keeps thing on his own and decided to end the relationship. ML will forever act cold as he no longer care or love the FL and make some stupid act to make the FL disappointed. The most heartache part in this drama is when FL misunderstand ML for signing the consent form to forgo their severely-ill adopted cat. The cat is a symbol of their love; the decision to forgo symbolized the end of his love to the FL.

In fact in the ending part for this drama, a sad ending is more ideal and realistic but this seems hardly seen in modern C-drama. Another thing to highlight on is where I understand that the ML is reluctant to have any kissing scene in any of his drama. This makes the kissing part of the love story looks stale, hope something can be improved on this.

just some random thoughts about this

1. Bomb storyline with the weirdest drama name I've ever seen. I'm so sorry, but if someone told me "You chould go watch Miss Crow with Mr. Lizard" I'd kinda be like "???!!" But seriously, why didn't they chose anything about his mechanical heart or something, that'd make such a great title uggghhh

2. FL's character is supposed to be VERY charismatic and VERY optimistic, but I feel like sometimes they overdid it with her optimism. It makes her seem a bit childish, especially when she talks so much... Already decided that I like the FL of My Little Happiness better, but still, Jiang XiaoNing is a character worth liking and sympathizing with.

3. However. Fair Xing is the best actress when it comes to facial expressions to me. Yes, the characters she plays might all be kinda similar, but she just nails her facial expressions everytime haha

4. SO LET'S TALK ABOUT ALLEN REN his voice is SOO SOFT omg?! I don't care if it's dubbed or not (I'm pretty sure it's not tho) and there's a lot of actors whose voices I like (like Luo YunXi, Hu YiTian etc.) but his is just on another level, it's sooo warm O.O (Yes, it's my first drama of him, but definitely not the last haha)

5. The music is one of best OST's I've ever heard in a cdrama.

6. It's much funnier and less draggy than I expected. There were almost no "supposed to be funny, but ended up cringe" scenes (yes, we know them all haha), and it's not draggy at all? (well, yet) There's always something going on in the storyline, it's fast and intense enough for me.

7. A cast with such pretty faces... Don't think I'll need to talk about Allen & Fair Xing, but also the second couple, and even ManLin.. I know, it's so subjective, but at least, I don't get these "ugh I can't see that face anymore" vibes haha. (!again, yet)

8. I'm sorry if this comes off weird but Gu Chuan's apartment is SO BEAUTIFUL?! Ahhh to be rich... T_T

9. I love love LOVE the SFL!! Her character, wardrobe, attitude, she's so pretty, such a great best friend, her taekwondo skills, everything! BUT: Here, I think it's really really necessary to realize we NEED to step aside from real life to fully give in to drama logic. Of course, it's NOT OKAY to chase a woman like that after she said no so clearly and often... but all in all, as I said, in drama logic that makes a great second couple story ;)

10. I think there's much money spent on production and it shows. Talking about the story, I think it's quite original too. Of course, cliché is involved, but come on, a drama completely off clichés would also be weird wouldn't it?

Oh, and does anyone know the name of the actor of Dr. P? He seems so familiar to me, but I just can't remember where I've seen him before, and he's not listed in the cast here.. thanks :))
(Also don't mind the rewatch value, I usually don't rewatch dramas)

Loved the show but it was lacking. I felt like it had too many fillers, etc.

I love this acting, and the plot that drove the characters together. However its just i dont like how things were left unexplained. Like how can a CEO just up and leave his job? I know its a drama but what CEO has time to waste and dilly dally all day. My main issue is with the fillers, i enjoyed watching the second leads fall in love more than the main leads as they felt more lively, and intimate then the main leads. I didn't see the chemistry between the main leads really, and their love progression seemly took a long time. I am not going to hate on the show, it was just not my cup of tea.

Look I liked this show or the plot anyway. Im sorry but I will only write the cons. Firstly, the FL is a down-right stalker in the beginning. Her over enthusiam borders on mental health issues. She did not suit the serious ML. She certainly did not desere to be in a love triangle, the other ML looked so much older than her. I was bitterly disapointed at her clothing. She wore many items more than once and was very shabby. My lord, why did they not dress her up for the awards night? At least the other FL had class and well dressed and far prettier. OMG that black skirt was awful as well as her denim jackets. What was with her eyes? Aarrggg.

This was easy to watch for me. I love things scientific as well as fantasy. The idea of a mechanical heart will be something in the future that will come true. We all have to daily charge ourselves whether it is technical or human nature. Temporary artificial hearts are already existing but not like this story depicted. The story was tragic in the beginning but everything came out... well you would have to watch it to see it. I loved how the storyline started with a tragedy to become such a beautiful storyline. This was kind of different for me. I have watched another KDrama that was similar but not human. I hope most will see this and know that our hearts are the most important thing that makes our bodies work. Your eyes are the window of your soul called life! I hope you enjoy this drama as much as I did. Thank you to all that made this drama series possible. I think the two main leads which I am researching now are to see more from them.

Almost but not quite...

I will be writing a better review after I finish this. The first few episodes were fun and light hearted but after the 13th ep, the female lead still looks so child-like. I don't understand the way the styled her..The 2nd FL is really annoying and I struggle to finish an ep because of her. The skinship is non-existent at this point and although they are still building up towards the romance and because of the physical constraints of the ML, lack of skinship is understandable. I still find it lacking, though..

My review might change after I finish watching. Will give this an 8 at the moment.

a bit draggy but toleratable

story:
except the romance, the main story is rather unusal in a good way. kinda reminds me of korean drama "where stars land"
the romance flows quite good, not too fast not to slow. and not overly done. altough many scenes are a bit repetitive but still acceptable.
i'm not really into modern romance drama but this one is able to make me watching.
i have a habbit of skipping scenes because most of chinese dramas can be really draggy but up to ep 12 i havent skipped one second.

casts and charatcters:
-jiang xiaoning
like most chinese dramas female lead, she is cute and very likable. she's a bit naive but not dumb, very energetic and humble. common protagonist. what i like i most is that she's not clingy. fair xing, the actor for jiang xiaoning, acts very well.

-gu chuan
it's not something new to have a icy cold boss as the male protagonist in a drama. what make this drama's boss is different than usual is that he has a mechanical heart to support his live. that makes the story interesting.
i usually drop ren jia lun's drama because i always think his acting is boring. he always has this same stiff poker face. but this time i can even smile watching him. he's done a great job.

-everyone in this drama can act. they all are perfect for their roles. not to mention the second couple xu and yanyan, they are perfect.
i usually never interested in second couple story but this one i can enjoy watching.


when i first watched this drama i wasnt expecting this good. up to ep 12 i have nothing to complain. i never thought i would be enjoying this.

would i recommend this drama? yes

so far...

I'm liking the casting and at first thought this was going to be an interesting series due to the first episode. I love the strong second female lead! The main FL is a bit too good to be true and her positivity and at times over zealous behaviour is a little annoying - non-stop chatter and inappropriate speech to the boss - let alone the hug! I know it's to melt his synthetic heart so needed for the storyline, but she is beginning to irritate me. However in episode 5 I had to laugh in disbelief when the ML got the FL to drive home from the hospital and just left her in his house! She was the one who was abducted and nearly beaten up or worse, plus also got cut with the bottle - but he was the one who had to be looked after? Please!!! I find the ML an ungrateful, self centered, self pitying man - cruel to his parents to save them hurting when he eventually dies? How hurt are they now? Not liking how this story is developing!! The story has familiar tropes and I just hope this doesn't descend into an obvious storyline as most of this genre does!

Al fin un ML realista

Cuando estaba en los últimos 3 capítulos ya me preparaba para agradecer que no termino como Uncontrollably Fond porque los dramas chinos (al menos la gran mayoría) nunca cae en el final fatalista y créanme después de esa elipsis hubiera preferido que me hagan llorar a mares antes que ese deus ex machina de final.
Otros puntos negativos que también me molestaron fue la constante del acoso laboral a las mujeres y como la pareja secundaria se consolido básicamente negándose a tomar un no por respuesta y siendo bastante toxica y agresiva antes de ser pareja y antes de ser una pareja estable. También las exageraciones en gesticulación y en algunas formas de actuar de los dos principales, creo que adrede se busco que sea así y en varias escenas era incomodo de ver, mas que nada en la sonrisa forzada de allen ren y la cara pasmada de fair xing.
Dejando de lado todo lo anteriormente explicado este drama me pareció muy disfrutable, la pareja principal es muy hermosa de ver y encantado con sus muestras de cariño, también la pareja secundaria después de consolidarse como una pareja estable mostro tener una linda química y sin dudas el que creo q fue el mejor de todos los aciertos fue la historia del ML ¿Por qué creo que este es el mejor ML frio? sin dudas es porque el se adapto perfectamente al ML frio pero no era frio porque si sino xq su enfermedad lo obligaba a llegar a ese punto pero también quería demostrar todos los sentimientos que quería pero no podía y nos regalo escenas muy fuertes como la de la pelea con los padres cuando les dice que hagan como sino tuvieran un hijo ufff... sin dudas creo q este fue el mas y mejor gran acierto del drama.
En fin, fue un drama que disfrute mucho de ver y que recomendaría para que vean.

Allen Ren está simplesmente fantástico nesse drama!
São raros os C Dramas que assisto e esse com certeza foi um privilégio assisti lo e ter como um favorito, pela ideia da estória, o ritmo do enrredo sempre tendo um ponto surpresa em cada episódio e o protagonista que particularmente virei fã e conhecia os dois atores por trabalhos anteriores.
Sobre o drama a protagonista é otimista e corre atrás do que quer, vocês realmente vai gostar dela. O protagonista é frio, mas mesmo assim é carinho e se importa com as pessoas que ele ama. Os dois possuem uma ótima química da pra perceber pelos making off, o casal secundária são super fofos e a família também passa problemas do cotidianos e mistérios de relacionamento interpessoal por causa de folcatruas do passado. Indico muito, assistam!
