Beautifully acted
The first episode was a bit confusing but then it got really good. The acting is great, the OST sweet and even the cinematography is pretty great, considering this is a mini drama. I was surprised what the drama managed to do within its short running time. The plot is both funny and suspenseful and the side characters really grow on you, too. I loved Hye Mi, Pil Hyun and Hye Mi's mother. Most importantly, the chemistry between Han Gi Chan and Jang Eui Soo is tangible. I wish this was a full length drama.

Sweet & Simple Story That Leads You Wanting More
By far....my favorite BL series OF 2020, HANDS DOWN!!!! i originally wanted to wait until all 8 episodes were released before watching this series considering how short the episodes were, however i caved after the second week and watched all 4 that were released at the time and since then IVE BEEN HOOKED!!! I remember being so excited for this when I first heard about it airing soon but had no idea how much I would love it!! Considering that each episode is only 10 minutes long, and only 8 episodes in total, I thought they did a great job with the story's execution and presented it well where you're always asking for more once the episode ends. And honestly...I think many of us wanted this series to be longer whether in episode quantity or in minutes, but maybe that was the beauty of this drama, because it was so short it utilized its limitations in really solidifying and focusing on the story and relationship between Gook & Taejoo. The chemistry between the leads is insane!! Trulyyy amazing performances from both of them, Han Gi Chan & Jang Eui Soo portrayed their roles perfectly!! You can really feel all their different emotions just from looking at their eyes. You felt all the emotions they were feeling. Even if they weren't always direct with their thoughts, you can still clearly see how much they truly loved and cared for one another. Although sometimes, their insecurities got the best of them leading to complications, but honestly what relationship doesn't experience this? I love how raw and realistic this story was and felt like I was living through their love story (or at least a glimpse of it) first hand seeing it develop! Also that Ahjumma was soo adorable >< omggg LOL, she was one of my favorite characters, literally me when I get older haha!! ANDD CANNN WE TALK ABOUT THAT ENDING!!???? MY GIRL SQUEALS WERE COMING OUT FULL FORCE watching it, and it just made me so much more happier and satisfied seeing this beautiful happy ending!! KOREAAA...NO THIS DIRECTOR/WRITER OUTDID THEMSELVES & EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS WITH THIS ONE!! and i hopee that this is only the beginning and we can see moree works like this in the future!!! I already miss this drama and probably will rewatch it again! I cant wait to see the directors cut movie!!! XD
All in all, its a short and simple storyline....but by the end...it leaves a lasting impression on you. =)

Wish it were longer
There was adequate character development in this drama, despite it's short length. The story was good, and the production was good in my opinion. I even enjoyed the fight scenes....it's unusual for me to enjoy EVERY fight scene, but I did.... especially the scene where Gook had to fight his way into the house. The drama had to move pretty fast in order to tell the story, but I think it would have been better if it were more fleshed out, a little slower, and had another few episodes. I enjoyed the acting and the story, I just wanted more.

A perfect series to watch if you want something quick.
This drama provide me comfort and angst that Im not expecting. The story line is good and you should expect a light story line. If I want to make a comparism, the storyline or plot is like a short stories essay kind of. If that make sense. The chemistry from both of the actors are there. Even tho you can’t feel it at first but it build up in the upcoming episodes. [spoiler] This drama segmented same as the typical Korean drama. What I mean by this is that this drama will not give you excessive romantic and we final finally see them happy at the last minutes of last episodes. And they have to part a bit before finding happiness. [end spoiler]
The OSTs are definietly my kind of songs. I have listen to full albums and boyy i can say that every songs are so good.

very nice but also so short :(
So, this was the first Korean bl and it was wonderfully done. It felt exactly like how a kdrama for any hetero romance would be. I think it handles the concept of falling in love for a friend very well. Both the actors are very very good at pining. I honestly think the story could have been a bit better if it was longer, but it still did amazing with what it was given. I honestly can't be a judge towards music because I don't pay attention to soundtracks in these shows most of the time. I would honestly love to see either of the other actors in another series. Was this review helpful to you?
… And to where your eyes stray to
Bodyguards falling for whoever they are supposed to guard is a trope I have always loved. So, it’s no surprise I have really enjoyed this drama. The plot was simple, but I didn’t mind it. Seeing the series is quite short, I think anything more complicated would have a lot of shortcomings as there would be no time to properly address everything.Han Tae Joo & Kang Gook: The two of them are very different yet similar. They come from different backgrounds, have different outlooks on life, and while one seems to be a trouble-making womanizer, the other is a problem-solving and always single bodyguard. But the two do share some interests. They both seem to deal with problems in a similar way, sacrificing their own happiness to keep their loved ones safe. I was ready to dislike Tae Joo and his spoiled self, but I really liked him at the end. Gook carried his emotions on his sleeve, even if he was trying hard to hide them. He knew it would only bring trouble to say it out loud. I think the two actors had nice chemistry, even if the acting was a bit weak at some points.
As for the bad, I really wish we had seen more of the main leads being a couple. I really missed at least a few scenes with them just being lovey dovey with each other. Han Tae Joo’s father was a very unlikeable character. And while I wasn’t bothered by him being all high and mighty and who knows what else, I absolutely hated his behavior and attitude towards Hang Gook. It just didn’t sit right with me. Maybe it’s because of how short the series is, but his motives were not believable. Nor did they make much sense.

Decent acting saved this
I guess korean bls are a genre of their own, the main rule being “give as little as possible”. I understand making something great while having only 8 episodes, 12 minutes each, requires a cinematographic mastermind but then let’s make it longer than that, so the plot won’t seem so shallow. I mean overall it’s not that bad, just a little overdramatic towards the end in my personal opinion- it’d be great for angst lovers. The acting was great, really amazing. The cast did an outstanding job at making it enjoyable and sometimes even funny, and for that I’d recommend to watch it - it’s still just like an hour of your time. Was this review helpful to you?
Nice Story + Great cast + no-cringe
The best way to describe this series : perfect pace + great actors with good skills.I finished the series in a go. The plot wasn't something special but I think the crew pulled it off pretty good. The things i liked about this series was the little jokes here and there and the fact that the actors weren't soft-looking at all ( unlike most of the BL Series).
I also like the quality of the production. The cinematography and editing of this series was remarkable and made wonder why SKorea doesn't make more BL Series when they have these talented actors and producers.
Spoiler Begins here :
The mention of the insecurity TaeJoo revealed was actually a good point to why they were in love.
I mean Gook had a supportive character and it fitted well with TaeJoo who haven't felt taken care of by parents.
Let's not forget about the woman who owned the restaurant. Man, I liked how of shipper she was.
Alltogether, if you are watching for a decent mini series with good acting and least cringe scenes, You've got to watch it

Review of "Where your eyes linger"
- Coming at you with another one of those 'short-but-sweet' bl series. Only 8, 9-16 mins episodes yet I haven't felt this much emotion while watching a series in quite a while.- This couple managed to make me concerned, frustrated, and embrassed all in the same episode and while doing it in multiple languages (They were speaking korean but I was reading the subs in english).
- Don't even get me started on how good the actors were! I mean they had amazing chemistry(which we alwaye love to see).
- Not to mention that the soundtrack also totally slapped. I rarely really vibe with the music, mucn less actually pay attention to it, but with this series it kind of grabbed your attention all on its own.
- Overall, if your a bl fan and are looking for something that is nice but a quick binge I highly recommend this!

Todo estuvo bien llevado.
Una linda amistad, entre un guardaespaldas y su protegido que crece y avanza a una relación amorosa!¿Qué más podemos pedir?
