It did not try hard... and that is okay.
I feel like your liking of this drama is going to depend on what other dramas you have previously seen.TC was a very simple drama with nothing too crazy to find unique or memorable. However, because I have seen other dramas that have failed due to intricate stories with confusing writing and plenty of plot holes, the simplicity of this one was appreciated.
~ Story:
Simple and clear. Anyone could write a story like this, but that doesn't make it bad. I found myself enjoying it a lot more thanks to that specific fact. The writing was decent, the pacing was decent, there was not too much going on focusing mostly on the most relevant and necessary parts of the story for a clear understanding of the events. Honestly, you're not going to find a drama that's clearer to understand than this one.
~Cast:
Decent. I feel like all these actor learned in the same acting school because I don't know how many times I've seen the exact same reactions.
Tonhon/Chonlatee: I liked them. They both had good chemistry and most of their acting came out somewhat natural. I think Khao did better than Pod, but it was them together what made their best moments.
Ai/Ni: Good support couple. They came directly from 2gether, so their chemistry was the best of the entire drama. What I like the most about this series is that these support couples had enough screen time but no separate plot. Their story was just part of the same main plot, which made it more coherent with everything else. Toptap is the love of my life and seeing him on screen fills me with joy. He needs a lead role, y'all.
Female characters were actually really good too. I like that their place within the story was solid and didn't shake even at the end. They remained strong throughout the whole thing.
~Final episode:
Probably the worst thing about this drama. It was so terribly cliche that I had to stop watching for a while because I couldn't take the cringe of it all. Tonhon's father is such a terrible actor that almost gave me nausea.
All in all, this is a decent drama. If you're looking for a very simple, low budget, and cute story with equal levels of fanservice and plot, then this is totally for you.

Consitpation
Looking for something where they ravage each other and provide sexual content? TURN BACK! Looking for something with an amazing storyline/plot? LEAVE NOW! Looking for something so cheesy you'll get constipated af? LOOK NO FURTHER!As an experienced BL fan I've seen it all...the good, bad and ugly. It wasn't necessarily "bad" I think the cheesiness and the rush of suddenly everything going in every direction it shouldn't, is mind blowing. It has it's cute and funny moments of course and there's sweetness with sadness. It had potential but I don't feel the MC had good chemistry. I wouldn't recommend for someone starting into the BL World but I guess it's decent enough to watch. I actually liked it more in the beginning then suddenly it went into the abyss then came back up but shot to the stars and crashed landed in a black hole. The ending tho is...satisfying?
To each their own....

Bad Direction supported by an equally bad Script
Coming to the story, it's nothing that we haven't seen before but at the same time it was presented badly. There are so many flaws and plot holes in the series that you just plan to drop it.
The best character I liked in the series and at the same time the best acting in the series is "Na".
Before the last few episodes, there was no homosexual backstory to support the lead which puts on a lot of weight on the series and crashes it.
They have tried to make it comedy by showing dumbness but it goes to the point that it's overbearing.
The Main Leads acting is just okish, I blame direction for it. The scenes in the club, the dance, and the facial expressions are a bit too much for this fantasy series.
Multiple times it felt like the leads were harassing each other, which makes it a bit toxic which at the same time doesn't matches with the series.
Most of the side stories are not completed which creates more plot holes.
Overall this series is just over the top.

Fun series to watch
I enjoyed this series a lot ...it has good chemistry and love the side characters. It has many moments that show great development and show how a couple from childhood friends grow to more. I liked how the story shows how the families and the characters grow to understand one another. The only real down part for me was the ending with the family forcing for a child. To me, that was a bit messed up. There were lots of funny moments and sad moments. Jealousy and lies but love and acceptance at the end. Overall a sweet series. Was this review helpful to you?
It could have been a bit more detailed and more graduated. Let's say it goes from one thing to another in 0.2 lol.
But all in all it was cute ( chon especially ) and above all funny
I really liked the supporting characters, in fact they helped

Utterly ridiculous but I loved it
I clicked on this simply because I'm slowly falling in love with Khaotung and I wanted more of him on my screen. This is the first time I have been really surprised by a below average rated show. I was prepared for nonsense but little did I realise that I would find the nonsense really. effing. funny.Thai humour is very hit or miss for me but for some reason, I this had me crying tears with laughter. So I can't even say it's the Khaotung bias because every character, well, not every character, but our main group was so damn loveable that I couldn't help but find the cartoon humour hilarious.
Khao ofc and Mike's facial expression just got it right for me.
This is a don't think about it show. This is over the top, cringe flamboyance Thai style. Like an over the top anime/manga humour. Plotwise it's nothing new. If anything it's a comical take on deeply repressed sexuality with the usual narcissistic ex as our villain. Even the music is telling you not to think about it too much.
You'll either like it or you wont but I think it's one of those shows that if you try to make sense of it, you'll probably hate it. I can only recommend watching it for yourself and making your own decisions on it.

Didnt love it but definitely didn’t hate it
Honestly I liked everything but the homophobia. I know it’s a common subject in BLs, rightfully so. And the writers did a sweep job of making us dislike Ton’s father. What really triggered me was that his family was so well off and highly educated and all that jazz, then why was surrogacy not mentioned when the mom realized he was gay at a young age. If having an heir was really that crucial, then y’all could have figured this out. Now you’re paying unnecessary hospital bills lmao. I LOVED Ni and Ai (best friends and gay roommates) their scheming with Miriam was perfect! Kept me laughing the whole time.Would I rewatch, probably not but definitely happy I took the time to finish it. 7/10, would still recommend

Disgusted!
"i don't like men....i just like this one guy""i only have these special feelings for him"
"i'm not like them...maybe i am like them"
"he's a man - i'm a man"
i'll stop there and just say...stop doing this in BL's, PLEASE! it is some of the most annoying subject matter i've ever sat and watched. this is not reality and never will be. trying to convince me to buy into the premise that a guy is a gay/bi without them admitting they're bi/gay, but having this confess to one guy, but still proclaiming to love women, is just a headache in itself...minus the other clusterfuckery going on.
for this shit-show of a series...was it horrible? yes! could i have done without the nonsense at the end of episode 9 and all of episode 10? abso-fuckn-lutely. the homophobic father...typical and annoying. if you're going to make a BL series centered around gay males or self-discovery (coming out) don't make it about halfway being bi or almost being gay. Chon in episode 10 drove me up with walls not accepting a damn apology. if i were Ton, i would have left and said deuces. if anyone thinks i'm about to get on my knees in the hot sun - sweating bullets, while being rejected by a halfway cute guy laying in his bed with the a/c on...gotta be kidding me. never in this lifetime. however, after sitting in the sun and i guess sleeping on the ground...sending notes through the window...having my notes thrown in the trash and dumped on the ground....having water thrown on me while i sit outside sweating, by the person i want to accept my apology and fix the relationship...Chon still says no...but removing my shirt and giving a story about a tattoo does the trick and i'm home free and my relationship is restored. good fckn night, folks. oh but Ton's body was nice af....to me.
aside from that - this was a disaster - DEE ZAS-TER!

It's Not great, but not terrible either
It's cute. A little frustrating, but overall cute. It's funny and a little cringe at some points, but I did enjoy it.Could it have been better? Of course, but I'm not going to say how or why since it doesn't matter anyway.
The way the story unfolds as a typical BL plot. It can be pretty problematic at times with secret feelings all over the place, and hidden relationships, though this is the first time I've seen setting with call girls 😅
TW attempted r@pe. which was unnecessary.
My favorite characters other than the mains?
Chon's mom, she will BEAT YO A$$ for talking about TonChon in any bad way 😂😍
Na, he's honest af. He annoyed me at first, but he grew on me haha
Miriam, this girl went ABOVE AND BEYOND for all of those boys like we all need a Miriam in our lives. She'll be your pretend girlfriend/wifey, stand up to your BF's crazy ex. And when the truth comes out and now she just has 5 hubbies she'd go up to bat for any day lol
Worst Character? You'll see. There's only the one B

A cute funny drama but also a meh
This drama had so much potential. I liked the first few episodes. The concept of falling in love with his old best friend who is now very "straight" that he has to pretend he's straight as well while his best friend doing the gayest shit ever is so funny!I liked Chonlatee's character very much. He is soft and cute but could also be fierce and savage if he needs to. The scene of him splashing water to Tonhon's ex gf is a scene that cleanses everyone's soul. He also doesn't easily back down. There's also this scene of him splashing a bucket of water at Tonhon even when Tonhon was being depicted as tired and pitiful after cheating showing how he doesn't get easily swayed and stands by his words that he hates cheating the most.
Just wished they made Tonhon more likeable from the start because when Na had a character development, I began rooting for him than Tonhon. I didn't get as satisfied as I thought I would be when Tonhon and Chonlatee ended up together because I liked Na more. And Tonhon kissing his ex gf just to prove his "masculinity" was a shitty writing for his character. His role was to show everyone that masculinity does not equate with sexual orientation or gender, but at the end, he cheated to boost his ego and disrespected his partner. How he also got back together with Chonlatee don't sit right with me. He explained that he also liked him even when they were still kids, and that doesn't cover up his wrongdoings but Chonlatee forgave him because of that.
The ending was good though. Na having a boyfriend that he met on tiktok, Miriam being a surrogate and a millionaire, Ai and Ni still a strong couple, and Tonhon and Chonlatee expecting a baby satisfied me. The side characters are also loveable! Pang being the bestest friend everyone needs in their life and Chonlatee's mom being the bestest mom ever in the whole bl universe!!
Just a few character writing issues but it was a good series.

Love this!
For real, the first 4 episodes had me hysterically laughing, I got a coughing fit every few minutes and weezed like a granny walking up the stairs! The side couple could tell a story with their mimic alone and their chemistry was phenomenel! Their little glances and touches, their syncronized movements, I fell in love at first sight!Khao is such a great actor and can be paired up with a bag rice, I would still feel their connection and believe his love for the rice! He played Chon beautifully! Neo, ma boy, he is so talented, I love seeing him younger and in different roles, he always gives depth to the characters without loosing his charm or comedic talent. The other actors and actresses did a great job, too, I loved the way Ton got played.
Chon's mom deserves a medal for the best mom, the cussing in the last episode was hilarious! Ping is such a great friend, everyone should have a Ping! Miriam was at the beginning somewhat meh, but I really learned to love and support her!
At episode 5 the tune shifts and it gets more serious, but Ai and Ni always get the timing right for another hilarious moment. I really liked the story, it was light at the beginning, never boring ( the only thing that really got on my nerves was Amp. Girl, you lost!!! ) and the fight with oneself, to truly accept what you are feeling was beautifully portrait by the actor of Ton.
All in all, a nice drama with a lot of humor and more serious parts, a silly happy ending and sweet moments with a fresh couple and one that is already together for years. You can see the difference, and feel it, and that was so cute! I'm just a little sad that the kiss scenes from AiNi got cut in the post production, but there are a lot of sweet noments, gazes and touches that make up for it! I just like physical show of affirmation more than words, it's my way of showing love, so I naturally seek something like that in series, movies and such.
Give it a try, but I remind you: It's nothing to take seriously. Just enjoy the humour and the chemistry (between actors and characters) and their beautiful friendship!
