Cringe, but cute?

This was both equal parts cringe and cute.

The accidental kissing was so funny and when we got it not once, but twice, I was like is this for real? Lmao

If this show is intended to be cringey and overly dramatic in a comical sense I could rate this a little higher, but what actually killed my higher rating was the random girlfriend we had not seen nor heard about. It was a real wth moment for me. It was out of no where and so strange.

It's such a short show, it's worth watching once. It is cute and will make you laugh, but it's not an earth shattering BL.

This is an 8 episode drama and each ep is barely 20 minutes long, so don't expect a masterpiece. But it was actually a good one, IMHO. I appreciated what they tried to do with the little time and money they had.

I liked that it showed mental issues that weren't pretty in their portrayal and that didn't miraculously go away once the characters got together. I liked that, yes, Nawee decided to finally actually do something about his agoraphobia, abandonment issues etc. and so on with Aiaoon's help - but just because he decided so, it didn't mean that he was cured. He just took the first step.

I was also glad that he finally cut ties with his horrible, terrible, no good, very bad family who didn't appreciate him or help him in any way. When he finally got angry and told his brother off? I cheered!

I was also glad that Aiaoon simply told Chanjao the truth, that he wasn't just not ready to marry yet - he didn't love her anymore. After so many years that she spent studying abroad - years during which they apparently barely saw each other, barely even stayed in contact with each other - no wonder. And I was glad he didn't let himself be dragged along into a marriage. And another thing that I liked? That Chanjao didn't turn into some vengeful harpy but she stayed his friend, even though it hurt.

This drama is chock-full of whump, both physical - Nawee keeps fainting more often than your average Victorian romance heroine - and the care that Aiaoon shows to Nawee is just *chef's kiss*

Overall? Not really a masterpiece but a sweet little drama full of tropes and clichés and pretty people with great chemistry.

very underdeveloped plot

i feel like they couldve done so much more with the plot, however this felt like a first draft by a 14 year old wattpad writer. some parts were incredibly rushed for no reason, some parts felt cut off, the relationship was very weirdly rushed that i couldn't, for the life of me, pinpoint where exactly did they go from enemies to lovers. i wont even get into the part with his family cuz i want to cringe everytime i remember it.
and i still have 0 idea what was the beef between the tailor and the other guy's father.. i guess their fathers had some issue but they couldve elaborated on that instead of letting the viewers guess the plot.

i want to be kinder with my words because the acting was somewhat decent but the plot couldnt be saved.

i liked the ost (jeff satur, my man, never disappoints) but even the music felt out of place in some scenes.

overall it was a very disappointing drama..

Not worth it.

Okay, I know it’s a short, and I know it was shot still with Covid restrictions, but I personally didn’t think this was worth all the hype it had, nor do I think it was a good idea to release weekly episodes instead of all at once. The overall basis of the storyline, and the acting are good, I did enjoy it. However, at least half the show is taken up by the intro, putto, and constantly repeated scenes. The entirety of the actual story we get without this is only about 30 minutes, at most an hour(but that’s pushing it). Not to mention that there are some unanswered questions and personal I feel like too many characters for what the show gave. Like I said, I did enjoy it, and I would recommend it as a short to someone, but I’d be sure to inform them of all of this first.

It could could have been better if it's longer, that's all (Don't mind my grammar and just read, ty)

I know a lot people say that this one is awful in most parts but to be honest for me the series has a lot of potential that needs to unveil ONLY if it's longer than 8 eps not to mention the duration is around 20mins, intro and outro is included and that alone takes up around 4mins each eps I know that if this is longer than what it originally is this could be better, this has a lot of potential especially for family matter and I am looking for angst between Nawee and his brother as well which didn't really happen because of its fast paced. Yes this story has fast pacing reason why a lot of people is not yet convinced by the story, if they will make a longer version like love mechanics I'm sure this one will gain recognition. I especially love the concept of tuxedo, I love formality and all. Other thing to point out as well is that the story is cringey and I think I know why they added those 'Accidentally kisses' scene just to create spark between the two character after all they didn't have a good impression with each other at first. Lastly Sichol is a better choice in addition though other side characters are not really remarkable for me however, since I have a soft side when it comes to family matter the conflict between Aioun brother is a good involvement.

MUSIC?? OH MY GOD I HAVE ADDED ALL OF THEIR OST IN MY MUSIC LIST ALREADY! DEFINITELY FALL IN LOVE WITH JEFF SATUR VOICE I LOVE THE INTRO SO I NEVER BOTHERED TO SKIP IT AND I GUESS SOME VIEWERS DID THE SAME THING HAHA, I HAVE NO WORDS FOR MUSIC IT'S JUST PERFECT!.

The only good thing is Green Chap Chemistry

Never watch a serie with a so original plot, character etc but failed to make something of it

Navee is despicable and with all the money he seems to have that not a tailor he should have hire but a therapist to help him to get rid off his agoraphobia first of all
improvement : he go out to the love of his life

Aoiun is a despicable coward enable to tell a girl he doesn't love her anymore and that it's not that he's not ready for marriage it's that he doesn't want to marry her
Improvement : none

This serie is also one of those serie with useless side character ! The writer seem to only remember they have them when they are stuck on their storty

The final episode is what i call the cherry on the top of the cake : 19min lenght : substract 2 min of credits at the begining and 5 min of flash back and credits at this end = 12min to clean up the mess

SPOILER : that not work

The only good point is Green/Chap and their amazing chemistry but that not enough to make a serie a good one

Bad Script & Direction

The Series started off great but started going downhill when complications were introduced as side stories and weren't handled properly.
The story is confusing, there is no proper base story but multiple base stories and side stories. The side stories are not presented properly and less focused making it more confusing as to why it was even introduced.
The script was just incomplete and wrongly architectured. For Eg. the relationship development between the good looking main leads was just too damn fast.
Acting was okish, defintely has a good scope of improvement especially for serious scenes.
Please ignore my music rating.

Your know how long i keep skipping over this. Well i finally sat down and watched it and i actually enjoyed it. I wont lie when i started it i wanted the rich guy to get a beating because his attitude sucks. Then came his asshole father and i was like so body hold me back??? but as i continue to watch it grew on me. The other ones who needed a cutass was his step brother and his step mom. I am glad i took.a chance and i watched it. Only thing i found the episodes was tooooo short but i enjoyed it

Decent idea and production values - everything else makes you want to have a refund of your time

Initially, I gave this a rating of 6.5 because I liked the idea of a BL set in a tailor shop (duh, men in suits) and for that, I was in forgiving mood. But later on I just had to drop the rating and even 5.5. feels a bit overrated.

The acting is clumsy expect for Tape who brings good comedic relief to the otherwise heavy-themed show about mental health issues and bad parenting. Also whoever plays Nawee's father deserves a shout-out because I'm in love with the man who gave me huge Mads Mikkelsen vibes. Hit me with the name if you have it, I promise I'll watch everything he's lent his charismatic face for. I don't have much to say about the script because it's nonexistent: boy meets boy, there's supposed to be some sparks and heat that is lukewarm at it's best. Throw jealousy into the mix in the last minute just for the drama because apparently mental healt issues aren't enough to chew on. There's some nice details worth paying attention to though, like costumes (once again, men in suits) and lighting but other than these, the show doesn't have much to offer. If you have something else to watch, I'd say skip this and use your time for something that actually has a plot and the acting doesn't make you uncomfortable . Naturally, this doesn't apply to Thailand's Mikkelsen. He's *chef's kiss*.

The plot is really fun to watch but it's too short

First of all, you might have read the other reviews before. Most said like their actings are so cringe, and yeah, most acting from the supporting characters are so cringe. I can't watch it in just one time. I have to pause if I can't hold my breath (I always hold my breath so hard when I watched the scenes that are cringe. Is it an usual thing or only the thing I happen?). To be honest, only main actors are really good at acting and not cringe. I can feel the good chemistry between them. And both of thier bodies are great ?! I also love the OST songs. I don't understand the meaning of lyrics but I'm addicted to them. The main theme song really matches to the series. The design look of the tailor and the luxury house is so fantastic. It can give me nostalgic vibe. And thier outfits are also amazing. Since this bl series based on the situation that is different from other bl series, I can understand the reason why most people don't like it (I mean this is different from regular bl series type; like school romance and university comedy).
I think this series is too short for this plot. Many things happened within three episodes. And there are many lacking in plot; for example, what really happened between the two main leads' fathers, and it's too easy to breakup a lovely relationship only in one episode, it's not fair for the girl. I don't know if it is valuable to rewatch or not. I don't mean that this series is not good. But we must accept that there are many necessaries in this series. I am looking forward to make the long version of this series (like Love Mechanics ?).

Could have love it more if it weren't about the misses it had.

This series is just one of the series that needs to be fleshed out more and have the potential just like Kissable Lips. This is just a mini series that could have been a lot better if longer and has more clarity about the plot and things like why Nawee nosebleeds and weaken just like that whenever he's out. There are more to tackle about the series that I felt neglected. This should not be a mini series at all but a longer one to answer all my questions. It's just ambiguous why Nawee nosebleeds. I got confused in the end when he said his father is dead already. I also wished that the series showed Aioun's and Nawee's fathers story. There's just a lot for this series to unpack.
I love the main leads, their chemistry is beautiful and I think that's one of the saving grace of the series. Another is the OSTs. Goddamn, love it when Jeff hops on OSTs putting himself there. I'm so glad that they chose Jeff Satur to be the composer of the OSTs as well as the one who sang the songs. It's just chef's kiss!! I like the fact that Aioun never hesitated to confess his feelings to Nawee. I like the ending but still there are mishaps there.

In my opinion, I thought the series didn't answer all the questions I had in mind and it didn't resolved the conflict between Nawee and his so-called family, as well as his condition. I didn't like how aggressive is the character of Chap like he's one of the abrasive characters I've seen. Not a fan of another old ass fix marriage with the girl. I need y'all to stop that bcuz I would hate a series who has it. Thankfully the girl just walked away after the break up and didn't act like a fool trying to save the relationship. I also didn't like how indecisive Nawee here. He's just on the fence about Aioun. He just confess his love and they even slept with each other. Maybe he's just hurt after learning the planning engagement of Aioun and the girl. That maybe the reason why he held back. Long story short they ended up together.

If ever the directors and writers plan to make a season 2 for this, please make it better and don't leave us hanging trying to figure out some misses u made in this serues

A good, beautiful story with a bad script and neglected development

Let tick the boxes for pros first before I talk about the cons.

~First, ChapGreen for main leads? Hell yes! <3
~The OSTs are just beautiful... <3
~The filming aesthetic is so pleasing to the eye. It's so clean that it matches the posh aesthetic they got going on the series
~It was a breath of fresh air that they didn't portray the girl as tge stereotype, "offended girl who becomes angry for getting rejected because main lead is gay and decides to take revenge and make their lives difficult" that almost all BL series have. I'm so tired having this type of characters represented by a woman and how they use it as a cause of climactic conflict. It was nice to see the girl being a mature woman who can take rejection like how adults should.
~Khun Nawee had a beautiful character design, he was created with all the characteristics of a top/seme but had all the vulnerabilities of a bottom/uke. This way, the trope of top-bottom between the main leads is not highlighted and the BL stereotype of roles between gay couples is broken.

Sadly, the cons ruined it for this show :(

~ I love how they gave the main leads complex emotions and clear character story, BUT seriously though, the supporting characters have almost nothing going on for them. They looked like decor to emphasize the stage for the main leads.
~And speaking of character development, Ai'Oun started off introduced as a character of intention. He had a specific introduction from the first episode, be so successful and avenge the death of his father, but that never had any progress... not even a proper closure, other than he suddenly wanted to migrate to England because he fell in love with Nawee!
~Although Nawee's character design had interesting depth, the fact that the series ended with no resolution between his relationship with his family (apart from claiming his father is dead to him) there was no clear closure or direction.
It felt like he was a BL Cinderella, who fell in love with his fairy godmother (Oun) and all of a sudden his story ends right after the ball (his birthday) He was shunned by his father for no valid reason, got everthing taken away from him, but he was busy with his romantic development with Ai'Oun that he forgot to fight back and get back what should've ben his. And then the series just ended like that. All of a sudden he became an empty character.
~The entire series felt so rushed.
The storyline was doing great in the first 5 episodes (I meant the phasing of the story) then all of a sudden it went on a speed ride and rushed to end the series. I can guess it might be because of the budget for production. I felt cheated because I had high expectations for this series and waited for it... only to get a crappy screenplay and a rushed ending.
~Why bother with the sub-plots when in the end, they will be ignored anyway? They focused too much in the last plot and forgot everyone else.

It was disappointing, :'(
