It goes from cute to cuter to cutest
Do you remember the romance of yesteryears? When it involved a lot of hugs, cheek kisses, sweet gestures, and not-yet cheesy lines? Maybe not. In many ways, MSP was a trip down the memory lane back to those days of schooling. And this is from someone who hates going back to them. But I see it everywhere in the series- in the secret admiration, the gentle build-up of feelings, their smiles of happiness, their buddy gang. It's in the air.MSP is the story of the school president and the guy he likes. Quite literally. They make us like them and root for them with all the fluff they ooze. Tinn and Gun, singly and together, are two balls of warmth that light up the screen from the moment they arrive. Gemini and Fourth are excellent casting choices for the story and the characters they play. Tinn and Gun need some softness and delicacy in their portrayal that Gem and Fourth bring to the table in tonnes.
But it's not just about them. Since Tinn is the school president to, well, everyone. He brings the rules to the music club, and solutions to the difficulties presented by the rules as well. "The rule doesn't stop me from hitting on you." Was it routine/expected/previously said? Yes. Did anyone else say it this way before? No. So, did I scream? Yes. This is the only example I remember. There are many others.
Gun needs an audience. Tinn becomes one. He needs to write a song. Tinn gives some advice (that he knows). He needs to be picked up and put back together. Tinn lends a shoulder. Their story is heartwarming and fulfilling.
Then there are the others in the music club who are each their own character and not Gun's sidekicks. The rough and gruff Sound, the constantly irritated Win, the shy and quiet Yo, the naughty Pat and the softie chef Por. Then there is Tiwson, the best wingman there ever is. Kajorn's small character is also not without its quips. He reminds me of Mr. Filch- always out to get the students. MSP is incomplete without them.
They are typical teenagers with dreams. They have typical troubles and typical fights. But they bond over BBQ Pork and music. They push each other up. After pulling each other down. They sink and sail together. Doing typical teenage stuff. Like lazing about one day before the competition, postponing practice to eat food first, bad grades, group studies, going on trips, getting caught lying, help their mate impress his girl. Does this remind you of anyone? Perhaps, yourself some years ago?
When they say boys will be boys, they mean this. (Please take a note) (Of course, this would have been true had this been a girls show as well).
I was done for when they danced for Nook. It was so lovely. I can't remember the last time it happened. See, it is possible to do the old school stuff without making it cringey. It is possible to say Guntaphon Jirawattanakhul while praying. It is possible to say they'd wait until after college for getting together. It is possible to ask to get married right in high school. It can make you swoon. And squeal. And yearn.
It's this depiction of teenage that is beautiful. They are not adults yet, and they do not behave or think as one. They are not kids anymore and do not behave or think as them either. There is hesitation, uncertainty and those moments of teen bravado that makes them bold enough for a minute to confess, spill the secrets, make a move, admit the truth. It's a delight to watch the show. Then there are the parents. Questioning themselves over their teen children, wondering if they were good enough, debating over what is right and wrong. I would have liked to see the mothers interact more. They look like they would have become good friends. It's ok, though, if that is left for us to imagine.
The songs and the music deserve a special mention. I liked them all, but most especially the Thank you and Rock and star. I did wonder if the homophobia in the last episode was necessary. But I liked how it was not added just for the sake of it. And how it was resolved. The tears in Mrs. Principal's eyes? Yes, perfect.
I thought nothing could trump Light on Me as far as school stories are concerned but I'm bowled over. It's a complete package - MSP - the story of Gun and Tinn. It reminds us of those love stories that begin in teenage with sweet rosy promises of "together forever". We perhaps looked back and laughed it all off as dumb shit. It was teen love, after all. But then they come true, and we are surprised. "They are still together? How did they make it work? What was in their love that it stood the test of time?" There are so many burning questions!
Like TinnGun or GunTinn?
I have one of my own. What of TiwsonPor?

The most beautiful serie
Honestly, like many people, I started watching this series with no expectations because the plot seemed boring and I didn't know any of the cast, but it ended up being my favorite bl.I think the best thing about it is the script. It's very well done, there is no part that is boring at all, that's one of the reasons why the series has really high replay value, they can be entertaining without being toxic or misunderstanding. Each episode brings something new that doesn't stretch out for long.
The music is excellent, the performances of the cast are good, especially Fourth, the chemistry is unmatched, it's also very funny without cringe and that is not easy.
Would recommend 100%

Made with Neophytes, Done like a Pro
This is an exclusive gem from GMMTV's roster of BL series. I can say that the crown for the best BL-Musical genre already has a new king. Premise didnt disappoint despite being nothing new from this kind of series. It started quite decent and got off the charts episode per episode. Their journey is a roller coaster ride of love, friendship, family relationships, passion, future goals... I didnt think atfirst that it will tackle so much but it delivers.
The main cast is superb while the supporting casts is indispensible, they brought joy and richness to the story. That being said, it is engaging, the highlights sparkle beyond miles away and I cant take my eyes off of it. Good job Gemini-Forth and the rest of the cast on cam and behind it!

A MUST WATCH OR YA'LL HOES MISSING OUT FR FR
Let me be clear about this: I personally prefer shows like KP, MOD, and Not Me. I am not the sort of girl who would settle with a simple lip peck or cheek kiss, let alone a storyline that is based on puppy love. I had no clue, though, that I would become so hooked on this one. I said to myself after seeing the pilot trailer, "Oh, okay, just a bunch of new, immature kids." But who would have thought those "kids" would grow up to be individuals I end up loving so much that, despite being broke, I spend on their goddamn merchandise? That is how engrossed I became in this show.As I've already mentioned, the narrative was a typical college kitten romance tale. FOURTHGEM SLAYED. Mediocre plot, BUT ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT CAST. Let me just state that I wholeheartedly adore Fourth.
No spoilers are being given; you just MUST see it. Even if you don't have any expectations. I didn't too. As the following episode of Never Let Me Go hadn't yet aired, and the premiere of MSP popped up on my FYP, I clicked on the first episode, thinking, "Meh, I'm bored anyways." It had me on a very tight leash from the very first episode.
GemFourth should be the leads in more series, as their relationship on and off screen is excellent. Their off-screen arguments and taunting behavior is so entertaining to observe. The attention being given to these guys is well-deserved. Fuck it, They deserve more. Period.

a show about friendship
(I'm writing this review before the last episode cause I feel like I'll be too busy crying and I don't think my opinion or rating it's going to change anyway)This is a show about friendship.
It's not really a romcom. Yes, we have a bunch of couples.
But IT IS ABOUT FRIENDSHIP.
It is about how these friends are trying to win this music contest.
And when it comes to the romance, everyone seems to be a walking green flag.
Also, it is VERY pg-13, so if that's not what you looking for..
It's like those 2000s nickelodeon shows that were cute, innocent, about friendship with romance, every episode has its own little plot, they never drag the problems and have actual really good scripts, and unless you count second couple development as fillers, not even that this show has, it feels like every scene a purpose (okay, maybe not the ads, but hey, they got to get the funds somewhere)

The perfect high school show does exist
As always, these are just my own thoughts and opinions and not intended to offend or upset :)When this show was first announced I genuinely didn’t think it was for me; I was feeling a bit burnt out on the whole high school romance thing, wanted something a little more mature and absorbing. Oh, how naïve I was.
This is now one of my all time favourite feel good shows.
I fell in love with the characters, and the story was just…so cute? But it wasn’t just fluff, it also dealt with many of issues teenagers go through on a daily basis, but without making the show feel like a drag. It may be a simple plot (boy likes boy and must try and convince him to give them a chance) but it was done in such a way that it didn't feel old or boring. I do recall seeing some people complaint at the lack of kisses in the show, but I loved that - being a teenager and being scared to have your first kiss is such a real feeling, but one that I feel like so many people tend to forget, and I felt like that was conveyed so perfectly in this.
I don’t think there was a single poor casting choice - everyone was perfect. Each character was their own person and managed to leave an impression, even if it was only a small part. Even the constant music and singing couldn’t put me off.
I cannot wait to revisit this little universe in Our Skyy 2.

Cute, hilarious, heartwarming
I was reluctant to watch this series at first because it looked really cliche, but there was sooo much hype for it that I finally decided to start it. I liked it, but it wasn't super outstanding. It is full of cute moments in almost every scene that just made me smile so much, and the characters themselves were also hilarious. However, I felt like it reminded me of Bad Buddy, probably because it had many similar scenes even though the storyline is different. The plot is pretty basic but the execution as well as the comical effects and great acting makes it stand out.To be honest, there isn't too much to say. I think the main reason I'm not super in love with TinnGun is that I loved the actors (GeminiFourth) most as HeartLiming in Moonlight Chicken. Thus, even though I do love TinnGun, they weren't anything new.
I must say that SoundWin was a nice surprise in the series though. I didn't think I would like them as much as I did.

It does exist, a teenager’s love story that is sweet, healthy, and mature.
History made as My School President tops my list of the most loveable Thai BL series ever. Since the pilot episode, the drama consistently gave me the satisfaction and entertainment that I wanted. Complete package show; high-quality production, turning cliche into pleasure, god-tier collection of OSTs, powerful line up of cast, superb and genuine acting performances, best of the best rom-com moments, etc. This show is an absolute masterpiece that sets the bar too high for others to beat. A tremendously enjoyable school-based BL.The basis of the story wins me. A top student who secretly admires his musical genius classmate. Tinn’s efforts to help Gun in every way possible are highly commendable. Sometimes, viewers crave this kind of story, something that can bring back their own youthful experiences from the past.
Tinn is the kind of man that I also wanted to date with. A perfect boyfriend material; handsome, intelligent, funny, fluffy, dependable, and kind. Having our own apple in the eye is relatable. We can’t help but fantasize about scenarios we always wanted to do together, feel too nervous when we unexpectedly had some contact with them, and feels dazzled when we lend a hand whether it may be a big or small help. Tinn always sends motivation to Gun on pursuing his dream of becoming a singer, a perfect example of what sincere love can do to a person.
Intelligent people like Tinn always have the cheesy-romantic way of imagining various situations, his daddy jokes, as well as those pick-up lines. Some of these notable scenes are the solving of math equations into a heart-shaped figure, turning the practical dance class into a graceful date, the eraser with a heart and a gun drawn, the viral NARAK- “Why are you so Sodium - Radium - Potassium?”, the rock n roll sign which means I love you, the shower scene imagination, and the “My heart has 3 states; solid, liquid, and solidly yours” We got you there, Mr. President!
I guess everyone will agree that it is hard not to fall with Gun, he is such a cutie! I understand why Tinn is so whipped to him. Those appealing smiles and those bizarre abs and muscles hiding in such an angel-looking face. The thing that I love about Gun is he is as selfless as Tinn. “You have your own dream, I have mine. Tomorrow, we’re doing our best.” I love these lines when Tinn supposedly can’t join the live audience for Chinzhilla’s first Hot Wave live battle. They are still in high school but I am proud to say that they already know how to have a healthy relationship between them.
The attack on Gun’s emotional plots is too sad. The rejection from his first audition -it is hard that even after giving your best, it is still not enough to make you win. The death of his father -brings to tears the fact that he can’t celebrate his first full score in singing class because of the accident that happened to his number one inspiration in music, his dad. I even feel more emotional when Tinn cried too when listening to Gun’s story. It is a comforting moment when someone is willing to be your ear and also feel the pain from your stories. The health condition of Gun’s mother -is another depressing plot since it just came unexpectedly during peak training time of Gun. His mother is a super Mom! The mother-and-son relationship between the two is so fascinating and warm. This is also the time when we notice how scary Gun is when he is angry. Tinn’s hiding the health condition of Gun’s mom is understandable. As usual, the two tend to fix their conflicts as early as possible when Gun’s mom finally told to his son all of the things that Tinn has done to him so far.
This show has the power to transform me into a worm since I can’t resist but move too excessively from the undying chemistry of the couples, with included screams and applause. Gemini and Fourth easily manage to sway me with how lovely and fantastic they are, both on-screen and off-cam. I still can’t believe that rookie actors like them can act more than actors with years of experience in the industry. Their eyes can speak the specific emotions that their character is holding on to, they can deliver emotions with the use of their facial expressions alone. Those stares, smiles, exchange of lines, and gestures; all of these are purely natural. They acquired the quality of having both soft and hot allure. That little intimate touch is so powerful -holding each other’s pinky fingers that sparks the idea that they both like each other.
Here comes one of the best confessions I’ve seen from a drama. Them laying on the floor beside the school’s pool and talking about the person they like are just delightful. When the line has been crossed, our boys aren’t lost anymore. The testing of each other water after the confession may take too long but I feel too good about their slow yet satisfying relationship progress. Tinn naming Gun “Chinzhilla baby” on his phone contact is charming.
The music club rule of not dating anyone not unless after winning the Hot Wave was indeed too childish. But as the story goes by, it is important for them to focus on the competition and luckily, even after failing to secure the championship title, the rule has been unjustifiable. But during the music video shoot of “Just Friends,” one of my favorite episodes, I am loving the tension from the heartbreaking distance they needed to do in order to maintain the club rule. They keep adding the word “friend” and it was funny. They encountered conflict but the most important thing is they resolved it early with healthy conversations of their pure interest and reconciliation. Gunn’s precious gift to Tinn is so modern and awesome. He collected snap photos of the President, uploaded them to Google Drive, and generated a QR code.
In a romantic story, it always adds fun and excitement when the other person is in a jealous mood. Gun getting jelly was just the cutest, and Tinn will do his best to not make his boyfriend fiercer. The “Oh Romeo, you son of a bitch! Why are you such a jerk? I’m freaking disappointed” will always live in my mind rent-free. The beach scenes were refreshingly enchanted. The wet looks of my boys are too sexy. The smooching of the drink as the show’s advertisement is such a genius marketing idea. They enhance the cuteness of my babies.
Their ‘itchy’ first kiss on their first date makes me insane. These boys really know how to make my heart jumps with happiness. The Prom night was indeed a mesmerizing event. TinnGun is now free from dating in secret. The cheer of the crowd when the two started to own the stage was such a heartwarming thing to see. The hug at the end is indeed, very comfortable.
It is important to give our shipping king Tiwson his own review. His everlasting efforts of helping Tinn in all possible way of winning Gun has always been loveable. Tiw’s aura is so powerful. His smiles can heal the world. I am so happy that Mark is getting the recognition that he definitely deserved. TiwPor is the ship that I’m always thirsty for more. The theory of them dating in secret even before TinnGun is great. Yet, it wasn’t the real deal. “I want to eat you,” Tiw was really ready for making his first move to Por. The foodie lowkey dates are super cozy. My heart was taken away in just a single selfie at the end. I am hoping that GMMTV will make a sequel that shows more of TiwPor's story. They are perfect for each other; Ford is so cute and Mark is so handsome.
The dog-and-cat relationship of SoundWin was worthy of attention. That motorcycle back rides when Win finds out that Sound injured himself, the rap of war contest, and the medal kiss during their MV shoot was too cute to handle. Tiw’s shipping power works when the two starts to bloom a feeling for each other. It all started with the rain, the shared umbrella, the back hug, and the blush. They blow me with their chick chemistry. Win slurping Sound’s lips like it were ice cream during the finale was a chef kiss.
Pat is so damn NARAK! He is the only one who doesn’t pair with anybody so I want to volunteer as his partner. He feels so single and that is so funny. His candid smiles and silly expressions made me fall in love with him. If season 2 is possible, give this man his own pair.
These babies know how to portray their roles perfectly. Their acting during the clash on the mounting hike for redeeming their wishes was phenomenal. The intensity of everyone’s emotion that has been released through frustration after losing the contest was flawlessly done. I am grateful that everyone in Chinzhilla has been accepted to their chosen path of careers. We have a politician, pharmacist, actor, sound engineer, lawyer, and singer. They may have different paths but I know that their friendship will remain forever.
It is great to see that despite Tinn’s Mom being overly protective of him, she doesn’t apply too much strictness whenever his son requests something out of ordinary. They are close but not too close, as in what a normal parent-and-child relationship is. The amount of healthy relationships in this drama is just as pure as the world should be. “If this world is cruel to our son, we should be his peace of mind when he comes home.” This is a heartwarming message from a parent who chooses to love his son no matter what.
The wardrobe that they let the characters wear as their outfits aside from school uniform are classy and stylist. It was aesthetically pleasing and fits the beauty of the show.
All hail to the collection of original soundtracks and covers from My School President. All of the songs are loveable, mesmerizing, grooving, addictive, and speak supremacy. The cover songs they sang like they were the original singers. The best thing about this show was every song is connected to the storyline.
You’ve Got Ma Back - the pioneer opening song that started it all.
Yak Rong Dang Dang (I Want to Scream Loud) - grooving beat and syncopation.
Saliva - catchy and hype song that will make you dance.
City - relaxing song that comforts my whole existence.
Come Closer - magical and affectionate song of romance between two individuals.
Just Being Friendly - ultimate favorite; the emotions, the lyrics, the beat, and the song as a whole is so authentic. The music video of the cast is superb!
Fung - the song that made me cried the most. Motherly love and support are wholesome
Smile Please - the song with cute trendy dance challenge choreography.
No One Else Like Me - a confession song
Hook - ultimate favorite as well. “Love, Love, I Need Somebody to Love!” an absolute LSS.
Let Me Tell You - a song that motivates us to keep on trying, a motivational song.
Healing - calms down your inner peace and soothingly heals your soul.
Rock & Star - the beat! It was so damn expensive. GunTinn owns this song!
Once Upon a Time - we were once high school students who enjoys the life of being young to the fullest.
It is undoubtedly that My School President wins in every element of a show. The songs are too great, no song is getting left behind. The fact that each soundtrack and covers are part of Tinn and Gun’s love story is so great. The impact it has created on me is too high, best Thai BL ever!
I am grateful to witness such a masterpiece of unveiling stories that inspire, entertain, and captivate the audience. Tinn and Gun have already been engraved in my heart forever.
It’s hard not to cry when the drama has come to its finale episode. I have no other option but to say goodbye to my comfort show. It’s been months of extreme joy and fun witnessing the high school life of the Chinzhilla gang and the student council members. This show helps me a lot when it comes to relieving stress. Everything about this drama is god-tier. Thank you, My School President for everything you’ve done for us. I feel so blessed to see that someone out there is enjoying the youthful days of their life, by choosing to be themselves.
I live for a beautiful ending. The kiss, the hug, and the exchange of I love you. They summon the top three magical acts of romance and it perfectly flows toward us. I love Tinn and Gun so much that they deserve all of the kindness in this world.
I’m crying because of how beautiful this drama is. I am not overreacting, My School President is simply the best. I will be going to miss everything about this show. Super grateful for everyone who’s been part of Tinn and Gun’s amazing journey. This is not the end, there’s still more to come for Gemini, Fourth, and the whole cast for their future projects.
I’m too attached to the drama that it is making me hard to bid my farewell. This review almost took me 12 hours to finish. I love you all so much and rooting for your future endeavors!

A fluffy and ‘will get you in the feels’ high school BL.
They had little to no room for error with the plot and setting of this show and I’m glad they actually executed it well.I love how different Tinn is whenever he’s not with Gun, which just goes to show the reality of how we really actually are with the people we like versus when we're not in the vicinity of them, hence they genuinely hit the spot in this aspect knowing that a lot of their target audience would relate greatly to it. Them doing this in a not that much of a crazy way, like obsessed type of level, and instead mirrored it to how an actual high school student would be like when having a crush, also made me appreciate it more.
Their chemistry so far is great, you really feel like they're teenagers catching feelings for each other. They’re making me feel more like a teenager in love than I already am and I'll take that as a good indicator of their chemistry.
The development they had, leading up to Gun being able to show his vulnerability to Tinn was greatly executed. I loved how Tinn wasn't all about how he can make Gun like him but instead, he was all about how he could help him be happy.
I also appreciate how they tackled the "Identity vs Role" stage of life. I felt that they inserted it quite well and is a great eye opener for potential and current young viewers because it's such a realistic obstacle one faces in their life.
Ps. Top-tier music covers. Even the OST will make you feel things.
As of the 5th episode, I’m giving it a 9/10.

best gmmtv show on air at the moment
I can't explain how much I freaking love this show. this might be kind of biased since I've literally been waiting to watch it since before the trailer was released but oh my god it's so worth the wait. I would never believe that this is the fourth and gemini's first time being the main characters in a series, their chemistry is so good and they are such incredible actors for their age. They are so adorable. They have me giggling, kicking my feet, and twirling my hair. I cannot wait for the rest of this show so I can go back to the first episode and watch them all in a row.Was this review helpful to you?

i made a review while subliming (it's kinda long, i was seeking catharsis).
What’s alluring about a cliche enemies to lovers trope about teenage high school boys? Not much, right? My School President, when its pilot trailer was released, I vaguely remember rating it 6 out of 10 for the reason that none of it caught my attention, aside from the familiar faces of a few side casts like Winny and Satang. It just seemed the usual GMMTV enemies to lovers trope where the other boy falls in love from the other one. I have gotten acquainted to such storyline, being a huge fan of fiction, I somehow eat it for breakfast. GMMTV releases good soundtracks every now and then with many talented artists but they never had a music-themed series that involves original soundtracks almost every new episode.I gave it a shot, not knowing it’s about to change my definition of happiness. The official trailer, it was an underestimation that I was immediately captured by the changes. To compare the two trailers, the major changes made it more interesting for me. The teenage, Mr. Perfectionist, son-of-the-principal boy has a 2-year long running crush on this vocalist of their school’s music club. The feelings were strong enough for him to run for the position of school president just to save his crush’s music club which was on the verge of dismissal. They also removed the cliche third party who was supposed to be ruining the relationship of the two, and instead added a new side couple for the fans to support. It was just everything for me to wait for the pilot episode.
By the time I reached the third episode, I was convinced I’d trade lives with whoever wants to just so I would be able to rewatch it like the first time once it is over. The main cast, Fourth and Gemini’s chemistry never failed me. Aside from how they played their character almost amazingly, they also have this undeniable dynamic that adds as a cherry on top for the overall image of the series. I just figured it wasn’t such a mistake that I committed to it after all. By the third episode, I also figured I would be loving every original soundtrack and cover song the series would release, and I have not yet mistaken. They didn’t fail to release great songs, the cast is talented enough to actually live up to expectations when playing covers, not butchering the original songs. That was one I was most amused about; the casting. Aside from Fourth and Gemini, the supporting casts also deserves acknowledgement, especially Ford, Satang, and Mark. They're actually really talented.
Overall, the relationship of the cast, the crew, and the entire production was evident upon the results of every episode. It's 100% recommended. Just let TinnGun, (nonexistent) TiwPor, and WinSound capture you.
