The ticking bomb
A mystery comes with a ticking bomb, a series that pretty much entertaining, a closed room murder mystery with a key like a ticking bombStory :
the series is pretty entertaining, and the plot was pretty much structured and the twist unexpectedly foreshadowed.
yet still they spend too much scene for things that made just to strangle things up, some truths could have been revealed sooner, and the revelation paced too fast, the ending itself is pretty good but its just the intensity just feel so wrong
Characters :
homework for every korean drama. basically there are three sides , revengers, neutral , and the bad guys with plus a ticking bomb, as the story progressing the revengers feels like they lost their main reason why they want to find the killer which is revenge. it feels more like they are playing detective.
half of the series I really liked the connection between the male and female lead they has common enemy yet doubt each other, both are being careful about each other even after knowing they have mutual enemy. but nearing the end femaie lead being too dependent to the male lead, she forget that it was her revenge and the so known "god of war" male lead turns into war dog blinded by love, I mean the man that always minding his own business get frustrated when the female lead left like a dog lost its owner, wtf. best character progression on this side is the mediator girl as the story progress she learns that their act are too dangerous and could go unpunished, she sacrifices herself and takes responsibility for their act to cut loose ends. people will says that the police are useless but for me the characters fills their role well as neutral side that gives pressure to everyone, they doubt everyone they had some internal problem midway and solved them as an adult they stays neutral until the end, good progression I must say. for the bad guys, they are messed up, so fucked up that I almost have nothing to say the queen bee doesn't fill her role at all feels more like a tool that everyone can use, main villain has barely influence to anything at all I must say he is too weak. and then there is the ticking bomb the key to the whole series which is jaebum he serves pretty well as twist bearer could have been better, but not bad honestly I'm impressed.

Not bad, but not good either not so special doesnt add any intensity to the scenes nor ruining it. and none of them memorable either
Conclusion :
a series that you could enjoy once and never again, I really like the truth key was the only twist and comes like a ticking bomb. yet those could've been executed better, maybe the actor and actresses are too young to understand the rage of revenge, or maybe didn't directed properly. I mean the male and female lead confrontation felt pretty intense, why the ending didn't ?.
Imagining that the final confrontation of female lead with the bomb came in the middle of the dark and rainy weather pointing gun like she means to kill, every rage and frustration blew up at once. and the last confrontation of the male lead with the main villain comes with proper reasoning, show off time for the main villain to picture insanity and craziness. well that sounds too anime-ish but that would be memorable and dope.

just damn ! like damn it
bro ! I am flabbergasted! because this series took my heart ...I loved every single character in the series ...the last scene where everyone was cheating for Jo soohyeon took my heart...do boys like ji soohyeon really exist ? his world revovled around others ....he helped every single one of them ..taking action and getting himself in trouble ...the scene where he got himself shot by chanmi but was smiling and joking about it later ..I was like " bro you got shot ! you have the right to show some anger !" ...my second most favorite character was seok jaebum ..he was too nice to be the villain ..the thing that he killed park woseok broke by heart ...he had no idea what was happening...he was too nice from the beginning always caring about everyone and especially ok chanmi ..I believe he had feelings for ok chanmi that is why I was confused because I thought he and park woseok were a couple ...but obviously later it was revealed ..he had feelings for chanmi ..the only mistake he made was listening to gi osung and believing his word that park woseok had pushed him ...he should have atleast collected some solid evidence before taking action ..that was his only mistake ! but still he confessed ...I liked his character a lot ...the girl with white hair was also such a strong character ..her unrequited love and devotion for ji soohyeon was everything this show needed ...I loved it Soo Soo damn much ..gi osung ! I am fine with the fact that he was killed in the end ..but I would have preferred a more detailed And painful end for him ..he did Soo many people dirty ...gaslighted seok jaebum ...tortured and beat ji soohyeon ..tried to frame him for his own crimes ..recorded personal matter of park woseok and blackmailed him ..even tried to kill ok chanmi by cutting the breaks of the scooter ...and I am still confused about his feelings ..did he have feelings for his sister ,? or did he not ? because in the end he tried to kill her ! but when seok jaebum told his crimes to his step sister ,he looked quite enraged and embarrassed..and in that scene he had specifically came to save her ...also he took pics of her and posted it on his Instagram? and they kissed too ? so what was all that ? and did he have feelings for seok jaebum because when seok jaebum's friendship grew stronger with ji soohyeon,he clearly got jealous ..and in one scene he even said " you might as well consider my feelings for you seok jaebum !" ...but then he had also pushed him and put him in a coma ...so ? who exactly did he like ?Was this review helpful to you?

Solid Mystery/Thriller
I really enjoyed this drama! It was engaging with an interesting story and good characters. I liked the mystery a lot and thought they did a good job of giving us lots of twists without getting out of control with them. However, while I do think 12 episodes is the sweet spot for most dramas, this one felt like it rushed everything in the last episode. There were a few things that I would've liked to have had answered (mostly what actually happened to some of the major characters that were either about to die, apparently terminally ill, or in jail). But I definitely enjoyed it from start to finish and would recommend it.Was this review helpful to you?

tho mostly what school leaves their roofs and windows open? In our school we liked to open it fully cuz in winter it'd get too cold so we didn't open the ac and just opened the window but the school ppl found out and locked it?
They tried too hard, 90% was nonsense fillers
Ml was not right, white hair took money to bully bullies.. fl kept threatening ppl with her gun..
But everything fell on the 2ml :/
The paramedics were there, the teachers should've heard something
But no, the whole school lied obv, and the cops let them be
They tried to pull a misty, but the double personality was hilarious. I'd have preferred an accident or like misty a real psycho, but he was brainwashed and had multiple personality disorder

The Show I Needed to See
This was the show I really needed to watch for all the wrong reasons. I am so tired of show after show allowing villains to get a slap on the hand or buy their way out of prison time after destroying other people's lives. But not this show. For once, pretty much all the bad guys get exactly what they deserve and even a few bad girls too. It was immensely satisfying to watch a little vigilante justice being dispense when the police were completely inept.The casting was great, acting was good the story is a little weak but not too draggy so I highly recommend it for anybody who yearns for a long tall glass of justice.

Amazing!!
I absolutely loved this drama. ML and FL has amazing bonding by the time drama finishes. It's filled with mystery and thrill. There no overt romance as per say, but they are a couple it is showed in their emotional connect.FL loses her brother. And it's her journey, finding who killed him. She also suspect the ML of it.
He also has his owm back story. And a troubled past. I loved his acting and character potrail. Oh, and he is good at fighting. The action scenes are good, but can be brutal for some to handle, so be warned.
Watch this. Really really. I came out having more than I expected ?

the ending was underwhelming
the ending was totally rushed, they wasted alot of time in nothing just them going round and round. The whole drama was an angst/ Teenage/ revenge Drama so the ending should have been on the same level, but I didn't feel it that much. As much as it was supposed to be totally unexpected and surprising but I didn't feel like that, it was all so rushed and packed in the last twenty minutes that's why it's impact wasn't that great.Was this review helpful to you?
Social issues tackled, but with plot full of flaws
At first glance, Revenge Of Others indeed has all the makings of a fantastic teen revenge-thriller. It’s stylish and has that early ’00s teen horror charm – set in a creepy, gothic school, with bullies that invoke unimaginable fear among their peers, however the script and the storyline at times are overwhelming.Major bombshells are dropped and new characters and potential arcs are introduced so quickly it feels like one is barely even explored before there’s another. Moreover, some scenes were made hastily just to make a connection between the events. Despite the many letdowns in the plot (yes although it did tackle the problem of bullying), the actors’ performances are eye-catching. In particular, Shin Ye Eun’s solid acting is outstanding. I have seen a better and fast paced high school action thriller of 2022 (Weak Hero Class 1), which had a better output, whether be it in terms of social issues or storyline.
Despite it's heavy atmosphere and many flaws in plot, Revenge Of Others is a satisfactory watch, dealing with bullying, broken justice system and desperation of the teens to seek justice.

Bad Ending
The storyline was great at first. I was hooked in finding out the murderer in this drama. The drama started to become a crazy roller coaster ride in episode 10 to 12. It has a bad ending. The culprit has dual personality. The other culprit just died by being framed as someone who committed suicide. Damn such a waste of storyline. hooking thriller that had me pulling all nighters DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
This show was incredibly good at making me unable to stop watching; leaving me with excitement and questions at the end of every episode.STORY
the plot was very full of so many surprises and events. some may think there were some useless ingredients like i've heard about his brain tumour and wonseok's fake gf but I enjoyed it nonetheless. This is such a captivating show and i had much fun watching it. However, parts of the plot lacked some logical explanation. I also wish the ending was more resolved as we dont see what happened to gi osung or really jaebum because the question is does jaebum really deserve to be punished for it when he has a mental disorder AND he was manipulated by gi osung (who is assumingly dead because, again, we dont know exactly what happened but he is probably dead as he isnt shown in the end) so should he really take the blame? i wish that was resolved as well as ji sooheon's brain tumour because while it is an open ending, i think if you are going to bring in something huge like a dangerous brain tumour and make us worry, you might as well at least indicate how it ends for him. because that whole thing is arguably not contributing to much of the plot anyway so why make us worry and the other characters worry too. we also didnt go into depth on how this brain tumour can really affect real life people as representation
CHARACTERS AND ACTING
I think jaebum's actor did very well at portraying his character's split personality disorder and each 'person' inside him. The rest of the cast did well too, though i dont think this script and writing unleashed any of their full potentials. The characters were all interesting and none annoyed me that werent supposed to. Ok chanmi and ji sooheon's chemistry was so perfect and i loved all their scenes together. despite not being a romance drama (and i am very mad we didnt even get a kiss) they're relationship made me giddier than many romance dramas i have watched and the main characters were mostly likeable. However, ok chanmi's character lacked logic at times, believing things way to quickly then acting on those thoughts such as when she heard gi osung telling jaebum that it was park wonseok who pushed him off the building and chanmi immediately believed it, sent out apology/goodbye videos and left even though gi osung was a very obviously untrustworthy character which annoyed me.
In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this show because I personally love it and it was so incredibly gripping with a loveable main cast.

AFTER WATCHING 6 EPISODESAfter watching the latest episodes, as soon as they they were released, I gave this drama some thoughts. I had to decide if I wanted to continue watching it.
This drama is ridiculously packed with secrets. As if the creators were trying hard to catch the viewer's attention by forcing unexpected situations.
The idea of revenge of others was a good one, but why are almost all possible teenage problems stuffed into this drama? It might not be so bad if it was executed differently, but here are so many subplots that everything gets mixed up and makes no sense.
I had really high expectations for this drama but I am disappointed.
I am dropping it. There's a slight chance I'll come back to it someday, but right now I'd rather spend my time watching something else.

AFTER WATCHING 3 EPISODES
I'm not sure how I feel about this drama. The idea for the story seems to be really good and full of potential but something is off. However, I don't know exactly what yet. Maybe it's the main female character. She should feel some emotion about her twin's death, but it seems very flat and forced. Maybe it's not that, I'm still trying to find an answer.
The first two episodes and half of the third bored me most of the time. I keep watching because the plot and mysteries are interesting enough for me, but the acting could be more real. At the moment, the acting is a bit flat most of the time. Because of this, I don't feel any attachment to the character. I hope my feelings about it will change soon. Also, I really hope the execution improves in the next episodes because it will be a real shame and disappointment if it doesn't.
So I keep my fingers crossed for better next episodes and acting that will bring me closer to the characters. I'm giving it a 7/10 at the moment because there's still room for improvement.
(I know that the shooting of the drama has already ended, but perhaps the creators themselves noticed things that could be done better and improved them during the recording.)

Its an incredible drama and i think everyone should watch this.... There are alot many good things about it...
First off,this is only a 12 episode drama and this thing they have started, i mean making non romance dramas with the overflowing chemistry of main leads... i don't know what its called but i just love this genre...
Secondly, the story is too good... its a suspense/mystery drama and not a minute goes without suspense in this drama. i mean, what else do you need for a good mystery drama???? its just perfect..
Also, the 3 main characters, ok chammi, seok jae bom and ji seo won. i loved their teamwork i just loved...
and not to forget about the plot twist.... i was blown away by the plot twist....
Btw, unpopular opinion, i loved seok jae bom. He has a class.
I am trying really hard not to give any spoilers so the people who watch it, can enjoy it to the fullest.....
