Bruh
This was such a confusing lackluster 100 minutes. Don't get me wrong, there was some enjoyable moments, like the scenes with Yeong Woo and his father, and Yeong Woo's abs, but the negative definitely outweigh the positives in every aspect. Where's the confession scene? What happened between Lee Bin and Yeong Woo? Where's the PLOT? I know all the viewers. have no idea how they came around to ''dating''. It's like plothole galore in this. I like the actors and they did okay seeing as they're rookies I think. The idea pitched was interesting but it could've been so much better and lively. it's alright for a low budget type thing but it had SO much potential. It was hella dry and I expected it to pick up the pace but not like that, I got nothing from it except irritability. Plus the start had some weird editing, it looked like a green screen. Was this review helpful to you?
Cute but multiple plotholes
Because of multiple plotholes and the story not being presented clearly/properly the base story remained confusing.Things that I liked
* Both male leads presented their characters in a cute way, which goes well with the series.
* Cute and tried to make it simple
Scope of Improvement
* Lightning, especially in the starting
* Base story being confusing
* Chemistry development between the leads.
Please ignore my music rating.
I think if the direction / production was a bit better, something very good would have come out of it.

It could have been way better.
The story unfolds very poorly. I don't know if it's because of Covid related restrictions or maybe some scenes were left in the cutting floor, but after finishing the last episode, I felt there were about 20 minutes of footage missing, footage that probably had important information and development. The show has two strong leads, three if you include Choo Suk Young, and they give this show everything they got. Props to the actors for doing a great job. At the end tho, it doesn't correct the way the story is developed by the writing department.
I've come to find that music is always a problem in these short Korean BLs. Most often than not, they never get it right. And this time is no exception. One of the songs was good, the other one was just a travesty.
If you have two hours to spare, don't want to follow a story too closely and don't mind not knowing stuff that maybe you are supposed to know, then this series is right for you. In my personal opinion watch it for no other reason than to discover the amazing actors that put a lot of work into this series.
Take care! And keep watching BLs! ?

Almost got it right
I really liked the two main characters. They were both very likeable from a scripting standpoint and an acting standpoint. The chemistry was great even though they were completely different personalities. The storyline was great up until Ep 7. It took a bit to figure out what happened in episodes 7 and 8. We never got an explanation of why somethings happened. Why Jin suddenly stopped being with woo. I'm glad they got back together though. That was also a very weak spot. The older guy was not likeable but not too unlikeable. Again, good scripting and he also did a good job in his role. The father was also a very enjoyable addition to see. A nice touch to the nice feel the entire series had again ep's 1-6 mostly. Also, this could have been a full-length series in my opinion. I hesitate with the last 2 episodes being cut versions of what was filmed. My opinion stands. Was this review helpful to you?

IT IS A UST WATCH!
this was jus so amazing! i love how it introduced a new storyline in bl industry, like I mean not the same university story yk? I love the visuals sm like they are so pretty and handsome, AND BRO WHEN YEONG WOO TOOK HIS JACKET OFF IN EPISODE 5 I LOST IT DNAKWJDNWAJKN. I love ki jins personality, I think its really sweet and cool at the same time, like no tooo mean and not too sweet I really like it. Although I loved the series a lot, I think they could have given more in the last episode (two), it was kind of meh tbh and barely gave anything. But then again we got to keep in mind that this issss a Korean bl so yk. Hopefully, Korean bl series does get better and improve and 'give' more, I really do think it will happen because we have already seen the HUGE improvement with the past Korean bls this year and previous like colour rush. sorry if this "review" ( I guess you can call it) is really messy and probs don't even make sense lmao, but basically i really liked the whole series but we all know it could do better since it had the potential to do so, but I'm not mad!!!Was this review helpful to you?

Confused
Did I watch a shortened version wherein the rest of the story is told but I somehow missed all the details and just saw a highlight reel? I am so confused. MLs are good looking and have chemisty, but the story of how they fell in love and how they stayed together or fell apart just isn't there. Nothing is there. In what appears to be a momentary flashback we see the ML Yeong-Woo (YW) crying and 2nd ML Yi Bin (YB) consoling him a little. I think they were dating but broke up because YB wasn't in love. Back to the time of the story and YW falls in love (within a few days) of meeting Ki Jin (KJ -- who is the man YB is currently in love with, but remains friend zoned). KJ appears to be an aspiring fashion designer. YB is a famous model. YW is a deliveryman who fits KJ's ideal of the model for his brand. They meet in a bad way, somehow fall in love (no story, just bam, mission accomplished) and YW becomes KJ's model while YB feels left out. Then somehow it seems that KJ is offered an opportunity to go to New York to make his name in fashion, but only if he goes with YB. He says no, but somehow YW hears that he is going to go with YB, believes he is being dumped, and they separate (without story, no talking about it, just bam again, mission accomplished). YB goes to NY by himself. KJ continues his dream by opening his own studio. YW goes back to being a deliveryman and part time model. Now we are going to fast forward to the end... a year later, deliveryman YW delivers food to his past lover KJ. KJ apologizing but they never really talk and somehow get back together or maybe just kiss. Ends with YB and YW modeling together and sitting down to share drinks in which YB says he went to NY by himself and YW and KJ are running back to each other. That appears to be the end. But I still don't know what happened. Did KJ go to NY but just by himself? If not, why apologize? Why didn't they talk it out? Why don't they even speak to each other for a year? Just ghost each other over a misunderstanding and get back together out of nowhere? The music was whatever, but honestly with such a confusing story, even a great OST could only have taken it so far. Since it makes no sense, I can't see there would be any value in watching it more than once. I would just end up confused and wonder why I bothered again. The actors were fine, they did well pretending emotions out of thin air and no plot, but still, nothing can save a story that doesn't actually have any story. If there is another version of this story where you actually have the whole story with reasonable English subtitles, please let me know. Otherwise I will persist in believing that this halfway attempt was somehow meant to be the entirety of this ridiculous series. Was this review helpful to you?

Too much cut behind!
Usually I really love Korean BLs. They are short, crisp and are able to present the story in an intelligent manner. However Behind Cut really fails to live upto expectations. What really bugs me is the fact that after watching stories like Cherry Blossoms After Winter and Semantic Error, the standards are set really high and therefore this one feels like such a let down.Make no mistake, the story premise is fabulous. But I am not completely impressed with its execution. Disappointed would be a better word. The actors seem like they are just doing a bit of lip service in the name of a BL. What could have been a taut, appealing narrative turns into a flat, uninteresting trope.
So basically it's a love triangle. There are 2 friends living together. One is a designer, the other a model. The model is in love with the designer, and wants nothing more than to be the one who presents his clothes. But wonder of wonders, the designer falls in love with the delivery guy, who..more angst, was probably the model's ex. At least that what it looks like. I was very confused by this point. And wanted nothing more than this little travesty to get over!
Acting wise... No chops at all. Except both the designer and delivery guy are damn good looking. The model is not only not great looking, he definitely does not look he could be maybe just a couple of years older than the other two.
Points that were horrendously annoying.. What happened in the one year to the designer and model? Why did they separate? What was happening? I speak Korean fluently, but I still had to go back and watch with subtitles because I was completely lost as to what exactly what was happening.
Definitely not recommended for a re-watch... You can watch once if you like Korean BLs and cute guys. Other than that, this show was a complete disaster! So good luck!!

This literally gave cuts to the plot. It all chopped up behind tbh ?
Out of all the Korean BLs I've watched, this fell at the bottom rank because I'm still trying to figure out what happen after watching 8 eps.Okay so first things first, I like the two leads especially the one who portrayed Yeong Woo. He and his character is easily likeable, unproblematic and optimistic but does that can be a big redeeming factor to this series? Nah, don't think so.
The story is confusing along with the pacing like the two are recipe for disaster. Sometimes I'm trying to understand the story (like the other character trying to win over Ki-Jin from Yeong Woo) but it did not work at all. The pacing is too fast for my liking and I don't think I got a grip on what's going on. All I know was Ki-Jin encounters Yeong Woo and they became friends suddenly and Yeong Woo became a model instantly then they're planning to attend the show in NY and that's it.
I was like, Yeong Woo got his dream of being a model in New York crumbled and I expected him to loathe Ki-Jin but they're just like "hi, long time no see". I'm trying to understand how tf that happened. I don't think I-Bin added something to the plot but I don't like him ngl. There was never a tension between Yeong Woo and I-Bin nor did they compete to win Ki-Jin over.
The OSTs are good but the plotline and pacing just fcked everything up. I somehow expected something good from it but nah they just disappointed me.

So mad
OMG, this was wild. The annoyance I felt and still feel with the time I wasted watching this series stems from the fact that it could have been really good with a better and complete script. I have watched series where you have to interpret the ending but this was not that, this is an incomplete script. It’s one thing for the writers to create an open ended ending and let viewers interpret it as they may but it’s something entirely different to have huge holes stemming from incomplete conversations half way or a little more than half way into the series. It was really wild, absolutely nothing made any sense after Yi Bin confessed to Ki Jin, conversations where literally left midway in all the scenes after the aforementioned confession scene. Then we get one year later and its like magic, abracadabra, everyone is smiling. It was so bizarre and I am so mad because I can easily envision what it could have been instead I was subjected to the mind boggling/numbing thing that it ended up being. Deep sigh.
I obviously will never rewatch this.
Rewatch value 1/10
Overall 3/10
I highly do not recommend

Vanilla ice cream
Not my jam, totally not, I watch theses episodes with a wish to be catched but i didn't even like, I mean, they are good actors, with a good story, with a good soundtrack, with good everything, but idk, really is not for me, in the beginning I think that I was just tired and I dropped for months, I came back, watch everything and then again they don't catch me. They are handsome guys, the drama was good. In general, I miss the "wow" factor, they don't have a wow factor, they dont surprise us with nothing, they are like vanilla ice cream, good sometimes and boring. Was this review helpful to you?

Cute, but i found some flaws.
I would have preffered it was longer, cause i got affectionated to this drama, but i overall liked it. If it was just for the first part i would have give a higher score, but at some time of the series i started to not understand what was going on and i had to rewached it a lot of times. I love when you don't know something and then it explains it after you know, gives you a plot twist, but this time, really nothing happened and so there are a lot of holes in the drama that aren't explained. Also, if someone understood what the ending was please tell me cause i still not understand it, i like the button thing with the kiss a t the end, but io really didn't understand what happened? So overall it's not bad, but the plot isn't smooth and it's really difficult to watch, the acting on the other hand its awesome, even tho i didn't like the best friend of the protagonist act, too forced in my opinion. Was this review helpful to you?
