Unforgettable Collaborations, a Mastermind Villain, Nail-Biting Plot Twists, and a Beautiful Romance
This drama is one of the best dramas out there if someone is looking for a lot of thrill with nerve-wracking plot twists and cliffhangers and a drama with well-structured crimes as well as investigations then then you have reached your station. One of the best things that makes this drama stand out is how real the drama looks for example here the ML doesn't just magically solves cases but rather goes through various iterations again and again making sense out of the evidence and drawing various plans, this is what that is usually missing from most crime-thriller dramas. Another aspect is that the characters all had their own lives instead of all working on the same case for the sake of the plot always surrounding the ML Instead all had their own share of things to take care of many were investigating other cases many helped ML solve the cases through their own domain expertise which is also different than another other drama out there which made this drama look more like a real-world situation where we sometimes collaborate with someone other time with others, sometimes someone asks for help sometimes you get help from someone, if someone is injured or takes holidays we have their replacements. So for me, it felt more like watching a separate world through the camera lens. Wait there is still a lot more๐๐.The plot revolves around the police department, NFS, and firefighters, and here we see cases that involve all three of them working together or at least called together on sites which later turns into collaborations. Each place has a set of repeating characters which we can consider the main characters yet they can also change given the circumstances It doesn't mean that any of them lack substance rather all will end up becoming your favorite For example here Doha was an addition that I really like his collaboration with ML just makes sense they are a perfect duo just like how we saw Jindo dog and Bulldozer together in S1.
The cases are much more extreme in S2 than in S1 making us think how the hell are they gonna do, whether they will make it out alive or not. These cases will keep you up all night until you complete the whole drama๐๐. There is also slight romance in the drama, not many scenes but it will surely melt your heart whenever you see them together in any scene. Both ML and FL have their own love language and their own way of expressing it. Oh man at this rate I will keep on going all day long talking about them๐๐ let's move on.
This drama also has one of the most brilliant villains who made all the best of the bests in the drama (like Jin Ho Gae, Kang Do Ha, and Yoon Hong, etc.) run around in the palm of his hands. He was the main mastermind pulling all the strings from behind but no one could even speculate even the crimes he drew let alone his identity or his involvement. This man literally used the whole country as his playing field and our character as players to play with. He was always working on many things at once unlike the normal villains who give their all in only one crime until they fail and move on to another, he on the other hand always had his hands full of plans to execute.
Although S2 is a little bit behind S1 but cases shown here are better than S1 and it also has much much better collaborations between the different teams, departments, and characters. The lineup at the end of S2 seemed too overly powered to me where all the best of the best were working together so I don't know if S3 comes out any of the villains would even last a single episode๐. I would really love to see the actors working together again, especially the ML and FL. I don't know if there will be another season or not but all I know is that this drama created a whole different level or standard for other crime thriller dramas to work towards.

Just lit as s1. Shouldn't be dropped halfway in any circumstances!!
I'm one of those who waited half a year to watch s2 and without any doubt i can say ,this never disappointed.S2 was fresh with so many new charecters(some still remains a mystery),ofcourse there were some tissue grabbing and sobbing moments, but was extremely entertaining ,thrilling and satisfying with the ending.
Mild Spoilers ahead !!!!
After the 3-4 th epi ,the story faced a slow pacing (maybe because of the loss of someone) and also due to a diverted less significant' case' than the previous ones. But to my great surprise the show retrieved the initial momentum the very next week. To be honest,it made me completely forget the trauma that was given in the earlier episodes and was fully immersed in the new story arc.
๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐2 was being connected with S1 .Certain charecters and events had great importance in season as well, which made it feel like Master plan or something of the writer.
The only thing which was disappointing in my opinion was ,

Im a great fan of PARTNERS FOR JUSTICE [2018-2019] which infact is by the same writer(i think). She did this very similar doctor character in PFJ too, so that felt easy to pin point the main antagonist. Moreover, the antagonist was more obvious than the previous season, nevertheless the journey was worth every second.

totally worth it (totally recommend)
my friends, this is the title for the ones that like a detective drama, as a person who likes solving crimes and everything, i found myself here. it wasnโt just solving crimes while watching detectives, i think the key for this is the firefighters and the forense team, you really feel like youโre a part of them + itโs not just the crime, suspense, thriller and action, i think the other key inside this one is the comedy and a little bit of romance. a lot of plots between the two seasons, but worth it! a great journey i had!! <3Was this review helpful to you?

Season 2 is a LOT better than season 1
Well, I know, I know DoJin died and yeah we all cried for him....But that doesn't make this drama less interesting....I've seen people saying "im dropping this drama cz DoJin died and blah blah blah"....But at the end of the day, it was the actor's choice to leave this drama....HoGae and Seol look ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE together and I wish to see more of their interactions in next 4 episodes...
p.s: It might never happen but I'll always wait for season 3....This drama is LITERALLY soooooooo good.....โกโกโกโกโกโกโกโกโกโกโกโกโกโกโกโก

The season where the writer packed her bag and ran away
For me, this drama is both good and bad. tbh After watching the first season, I wondered why they even needed a season 2? Except for wondering if Do jin and ho gae were alive and the unknown mastermind behind the crimes, I was wondering what kind of story is left for them to stay. is a second season even necessary to tell the remaining mystery from S1? And well, I wasn't surprised how S2 spanned out over the 1 and a 1/2 months. What mostly disappointed me was how the character's settings were arbitrarily mutilated by the author from her own hands. I'm not crying over Do Jin died, but I'm unsettled in HOW he was killed by the author, at least Do Jin should have been given a more heroic death, but instead, a MAIN character was just killed within 4 episodes and the story just continues with. "oh he is just dead, bye bye". Not only Do Jin, they removed the characters Bong An Na [Scientific Investigation Team / Do Jinโs sister], with just a "oh I'm going abroad, bye bye". I mean if they are going to remove the actors/characters, they shouldn't have introduced them for S2 in the first place! Or start the season with a time skip instead or something! But NO! They just stuffed them in and then stuffed them out, which is annoying, And then down the story, they just came out with some poor excuse to remove Yoon Hong [NFS] from the picture temporarily, so as to introduce the character Han Se Jin. AND also, after Do Jin's death, the character setting for Song Seol went haywire, greaving over Do Jin and giving the watchers mixed messages.
So my point is the story wasn't solid. At least season 1 had enough substance to run on to keep up with the topic "First Responders" but in S2, I felt the writer was struggling in the storyline, albeit coming up with "substance" to go with. But I felt like it was gradually moving away from the topic of "First Responders".
But I have to agree S2 was much more thrilling than S2, although slightly annoying.

Couldn't Connect
I was extremely excited for this season after enjoying the first season but somewhere in the middle I lost interest in the plot. The story seemed to be all over the place. They killed off a character which I didn't quite understand the rationale behind. The show was still all right till that point albeit a bit slow for my liking. Story in between is forgettable. Then one by one new characters came out of the blue. One to serve as replacement to complete the trio but it just wasn't the same. I must have fallen asleep at some point because I don't understand why a certain character came into the picture. Convenient placement?
I liked that they added the autopsy scenes but it wasn't as impressive compared to the firefighting of the earlier season. They didn't really highlight a lot of medical and technical advancements.
The shows certainly goes for the shock value towards the end with the final criminal. Some incorrect medical statements were also made. I'm not sure how the system works in South Korea but since they are working with bombs, shouldn't a different department have jurisdiction? In that case, it would have been earlier to find the seller using legal means. I might also be mistaken but it takes less work to access the dark net which is why so many criminals can frequent it in the first place and nothing can be done about it.
Part of my interest dwindled when I had figured out the mystery of the final story so I couldn't enjoy it as much. It wrapped up quick which was good. I rolled my eyes at the US officials being certain of the result of a trial that hasn't even taken place. It's not like perpetrators ever get away through a mistrial or lack of evidence, right?
I wish I could score this higher but at the same time don't want to rate it too low since the actors did portray their characters well. They did try with the story. It just didn't strike a chord with me the way I wished it had and I don't have the patience to rewatch for now.

AFTER I FINISHED WATCHING THE DRAMAI still love this drama. After the initial sad events, I simply needed a moment to get used to the new situation. After thinking about it, I can even say that I liked the second season even more than the first one.
It got better as we got more signs that the relationship between Seol and Hogae was still developing. It was very subtle. The rest of the episodes focused on catching the real criminal. And I love the plot twist we got.
It's nice that the creators didn't forget about Anna's existence and made sense of her leaving for the United States. It was a very short moment, but I was happy to see her.
And I love Do Ha.
----------------------------------------
AFTER I WATCHED 8 EPISODES
Rating 8.5/10
As much as I love the first season, I hate what they did to the original characters in the second season. What are the creators trying to achieve? The second "Grey's Anatomy"? I really loved Do Jin and shipped him with Seol since the beginning. However, the creators decided to kill him, send Anna to the United States, and Seol is gone most of the time. Those are the main negatives, and the rest of the episodes could improve on those aspects by bringing in Anna and giving Seol more screen time. On the positive side, I still like the story. The cases the characters are working on are interesting and engaging. I also like Do Ha.
That's it for now, I'll update after the drama ends.

S1 >>>> S2.
I totally understand why would some people give this season a perfect 10 even though this season disappointed a bit. If u act based on ur sentiments then obviously u would give every damn drama a freaking 10 ๐๐.But as a veteran I m quite serious about stories nd stuff and tbh, this season the story screwed a bit.
Firstly, how in the hell u can kill the most important character of the drama.
2. Adding unnecessary love triangles just bcuz u wanted viewers to literally beg for the actual love relationship.
There were other things but these 2 were the main ones.
Now coming to the relationship thing. I believe it all started to feel sh*t from S1 when they tried to shove dojin nd soel relationship in our brains. It was pretty obvious who's going to be with soel but still choosing the BFF to be the lover was a bit too much. Then in s2, deluding viewers with random guys with Soel was again pretty bad. It felt the writers were so desperate to create a love triangle and make Jin jealous af.
Story wise, it was just as S1 no big change. But I would say, if u really want to make perfect s2 then at least try to be the tip of Taxi Driver s2. Cuz that drama was a complete blast with its s2.
There were definitely some good things happened in the s2 though. But I would rather want people to check that out on their own than mentioning them here ๐

Not Good Enough
Korean Drama " The First Responders Season Two " is the continuation of the action drama involving the stories of first responders who put their lives in danger in order to save others. This time around, the drama takes on a louder, more extra approach to the cases, with the stories being on a bigger scale, involving serial killers and criminal masterminds. However, at some point, it got a bit unbelievable, too Hollywood material and less the more realistic direction that the first season had taken.
Also, the big twist in the beginning, though it was unpredictable and nicely handled, felt, in the end, just convenient for one of the leads to finally get the girl. For me at least, the romance should have been omitted and they should have kept things more focused on the case.
Finally, the action scenes were well-handled and the performances were enjoyable.
So, overall, three and a half out of ten.

I haven't seen this kind of drama in my life
How can a main lead character die in a drama while the support lead dey enjoy life in all the drama have been watching is either the main lead is the villian or the actor but how can not only 1 but 2 main lead character die, that bullshit the writers should go back and learn again. And I expected much from the drama turn out it a disappointing. Or is the writer have a deep misunderstanding with the female lead how can he or she break her heart for 2 times not even allow her to have a romance in the drama same in season 1 that cruel,Was this review helpful to you?

One of the best thriller kdrama
I don't think that detective Jin Is dead as in 11th epiosde of S2 you watch that they don't show the full autopsy of Jin and The call exchange between Kang Doha and son ji yoon at NFS and also the bomb blast that happened on the roof didn't show the full explosion . I think that they try to make a fool out of Dex to catch him . They all know that Professor Han is Dex but pretend to catch him . Bro you should watch this drama . You are going to a absolutely hooked to it . Let's all hope that decective Jin is not dead .Was this review helpful to you?
