Episode 26 thoughts:

I'm starting to wonder if HyoSim's father is somehow related to TaeHo's parent's death ... Maybe a witness or the driver? This would be out of left field but give another example as to why he's been MIA? ? They're showing his face openly now, which means the actor will make an appearance. Maybe he'll help Taemin eventually ... I'm hoping the Tae's join forces.see below for further development on this.

I've been wondering for a while if the assistant is TaeHee's dad ?. But this one I'm like 25% convinced on.

Ruby, girl... SLAY

People complain about the lack of chemistry between TaeHee and HyoDo, but I do see something (albeit it's small spark). I do agree that she deserves better and is being hella taken advantage of. I hope to see more of his character arc. It's a bit too late in the drama for the spark to explode, but ... I'm hopeful.

Taeho should make his own scholarship outside of Taesan group... With his own money as the foundation. I'd just accept his request to have it dissolved and do that. It is odd that he's just telling him without the reasons (although based on media reports it should be obvious). It's more odd that it doesn't come up in discussion as to why. I think that was a missed opportunity for the writers.

I'm wondering if TaeHo's parent's accident was somehow orchestrated/manipulated by SookHyang and JinSoo. They made JinBum the culprit (his car was used) but in reality, it was HyoSim's dad (or someone else) who was hired to do it. JinBum might have been too drunk that he thought he did it, but in reality, he didn't.

Or maybe the car JinBum hit was HyoSim's dad and he's in a coma. This has so much potential. lol, I'm spewing nonsense.

Love love love that HyoSim is moving out. This is uncommon in Korea (most want parental/family approval or get married), but this is such a wise choice for her and her mental health. My one hope is that she doesn't give her mom (or family) the code to her place. There is one brother who is for her moving out... My bet is on HyoJoon.

I'm one of the rare viewers that feels really bad for HyoJoon. I honestly see such a nice soul in there that's hiding behind the pressure and resentment built up from years of being told he's the family's only hope. That's a lot of responsibility. He's embarrassed and ashamed to face anyone. He's being forced into something he doesn't really want and that's where his anger and resentment is coming from. That's why whenever it's brought up or confronted, he becomes uncomfortable and unhinged. He knows it's not right and he's trying to convince himself that is is something he wants... It doesn't give him the right to belittle others or take advantage of them. There's no excuse for that. I just hope that he starts to live his own life, too, away from the weight he's carrying. I truly think he is a good person.
