Ye Soo Jung is confirmed to star in the upcoming KBS 2TV K-drama Nonsense.
On August 6, it was officially confirmed that brilliant actress Ye Soo Jung will be part of the upcoming comedy K-drama Nonsense which will be led by several veteran actors.
Ye Soo Jung's agency Y1 Entertainment announced the news and shared that the actress enjoyed filming and working with the actors in the drama. They also asked viewers for a lot of support for the soon-to-be-aired series.
Nonsense is a comedy K-drama that revolves around a group of close friends who are in their seventies. Despite being senior citizens, they still chase their dreams, love life, and live life to the fullest.
The K-drama is the collaboration work of director Kim Yoo Jin (Revenge of Others and The Undateables) and writer Byun Sook Kyung. The series will be produced by IMTV.
Actors Lee Soon Jae, Kim Yong Gun, Im Chae Moo, Suh Ji Ho, and more will lead the upcoming series.
Ye Soo Jung will portray the role of a writer who will work closely with Lee Soon Jae's character.
Nonsense will premiere in September. It will be part of the Wednesday and Thursday K-drama timeslot of KBS 2TV.
This will be the first project of actress Ye Soo Jung for 2023.
Last year, she has proven her acting skills once again in the hit film Project Silence. She worked alongside Lee Sun Kyun, Ju Ji Hoon, Kim Hee Won, and Moon Sung Geun in the movie.
She also starred in the K-dramas Maestra: Strings of Truth, The Worst of Evil, and Revenant.
Ye Soo Jung is known for being part of the K-dramas The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won, Jirisan, One the Woman, Mine, Search: WWW, Suits, Mother, Prison Playbook, Stranger, Defendant, and more.
